Really nice food! The portions were really good and eveything was amazing. The friendly man at the front helped me customise a vegan curry for my gf and he was really patient when changing orders. I’d highly recommended ordering from here. We will definitely be coming back

Had a meal early Friday evening with family. Absolutely beautiful food, excellent service, can’t wait to go again . Will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone.

This was our second visit to this restaurant as the first was so good, and we were not disappointed this time. There is a real subtlety to the cooking and flavouring that gives dishes a different edge; superb. Excellent vegetarian options, the prawn dish on the previous visit was one of the best I have ever had, and my son and wife loved the chicken and lamb. Plus really friendly service; totally recommended.

Went with a large group of friends for a birthday and the whole experience was lovely. They worked with the group before hand to work out set menus that would work and made the meal itself really special. When they found out it was a birthday they even purchased balloons and party poppers and went the extra mile - really welcoming lovely atmosphere and great food

Had a great evening here last night with 8 other friends . We were treated to a fantastic Indian meal , a wide range of really tasty curries with lovely fresh poppadoms and breads . Cush and the rest of the staff were very friendly and obliging and helped make it a really enjoyable evening . Will definitely be back & will prefer takeaways. Best curry in WB I would say !

The best Indian restaurant in the area! Everything is super fresh and cooked to perfection. I couldn't recommend them enough, and sadly it's never too busy in there. Definitely worth a visit!

Probably the longest I’ve ever had to wait for a takeaway - it was completely dead as well so I dread to think how they cope on evenings it’s actually busy! I was hoping the taste would be worth the wait. It’s a typical Indian takeaway place-the food is nice but definitely not the 50 min wait for food! Don’t like misinformation either - if you tell us “they’re packing it up” - that shouldn’t take more than a minute! Don’t then tell us 5 mins later almost the same thing 😂 Nottinghams best curry more like Nottinghams SLOWEST curry! 🐢

Really excellent food. Chicken saagwala was 10/10. A little bit of a wait on the food but could tell that was because it was made fresh to order and was absolutely worth the small wait. Lovely hosts.

Ordered from these guys a night or two ago. the potatoes are soft and filling. My only little issue was the daal could do a bit more flavouring, maybe next time will let them know when ordering, not tryna give you a bad image, juzt a suggestion. Order was a little over time, but thats expected as the restaraunt and orders must get very busy. Lol my bad I forgot to turn the outside lighting on, before the driver brought the food over, he seemed a little nervous but can understand as I used to deliver food myself. much appreciated to you and restaraunt. 💯

Superb food and friendly attentive service. Can’t fault the place. Not much passing trade but make the effort to visit as best curry I’ve had in the area.

Tonight will be our very last order with Korma Sutra. We have been regular customers to them and if I’m honest have let them off time and time again when they have been extremely late with deliveries. However tonight was an absolute joke & not even an apology was offered. We ordered food at 7pm and was told it would take an hour, annoying but fine. My husband went to collect and was asked to pay as soon as he got there, again fine as we had selected to do this. What wasn’t fine however, was how the staff basically lied and told him our food would be out in 10 minutes (20:30pm). This is already 30 mins later than what we had expected and my husband at this point had been stood around for 30 mins. It got to 20:40pm and no-one had come over to my husband and my husband was trying to flag staff down to ask how long it would be. He asked a woman who went into the kitchen and came back out serving customers and did this a couple of times until my husband had to literally walk through the restaurant and ask what was happening to be told it was currently being packed - this now at 20:55pm! No-one came and offered an apology to my husband who had been waiting there for 55 mins! Not even a drink offered whilst he waited. Just handed the food and sent on his way. Came home and unfortunately the starters were cold and although the mains were OK they also didn’t add the spice to one of the curries we had requested so did taste very bland. As mentioned, we have been more than reasonable with previous orders when you have been extremely late mainly because despite the awful waiting times we do enjoy the food. We even switched to picking up as you showed us time and time again you cannot deliver on time. We had thought we had found a resolution with this, but tonight has proven, clearly not! Order somewhere else and save yourself the anxiety of wondering when your food might turn up. That’s what will be doing going forward!

Hands down, the best Indian restaurant in Nottingham. Everything was excellent quality, super fresh, and perfectly seasoned! I cannot recommend Korma Sutra enough!

The food is good, the main man is lovely, it just needs more customers and, quite frankly a more updated decor. Get rid of the 1980's Indianna, serve the same food in a more Bridgford environment. ie Music that appeals to the majority of customers ( aged 30 - 60) , get rid of the frosting on the front, make it "warmer" inside. They also serve a variety of good bottled beers eg Castle Rock, Fullers as well as the more usual suspects. I like it.

Visited on the 30th september at around 6.30 with no table booked for the 2 of us. They easily fit us in and the service was outstanding. The food was also unreal, best Indian I’ve had and reasonably priced too. Meal came to around £55 for a starter, 2 mains, 3 sides and 2 drinks. Will be coming back for sure

A few days ago my family decided to order an Indian meal to eat at home. I was deeply disappointed. The food took over an hour to come and it was not worth the wait. Overpriced for the quality. The food was authentic however was not outstandingly nice. The nicest thing about this experience was the young kind waitress who was rather understanding and apologetic.

Absolutely delicious food, the best Indian food my family had had in a long time! Extremely friendly service, we were served by both the owner and his mother who made us feel very welcome. Absolutely recommend this restaurant and will certainly come again when we are in West Bridgford next!

Delicious food and super friendly service. We had the Dal Makhani, Palak Paneer, Peshwari Naan, Mushroom Rice and an onion Bhaji. All were excellent :-)). Mother & son team running it were really lovely :-). We’ll be back next time we’re in West Bridgeford!’

When we arrived we was given the menus, within 5 minutes was asked about 6 times if we were ready to order! Hadn’t even had chance to look at the menu properly! once we’d had our poppadoms it took forever to clear the table, wasn’t even busy, there was only 2 other table occupied. We wasn’t offered anymore drinks, we had to ask after being empty for half an hour! Starter was nice (seafood platter) even though there was a king prawn missing, the waiter said “sorry there a prawn missing it fell behind the cooker, we will add it to you main because it will take too long to cook to be with your starter” unbelievable! Had the mixed grill main, it was awful, sauce was as thin as water, it was terrible, we did tell the waiter and all he said was “next time you come you’ll have to try a different one” 😳 there won’t be a next time! It’s not very often we leave food when we go for an Indian, left at least half of it here, it wasn’t enjoyable at all 😞

I’ve always had excellent food and service at this family run business. Last night, I requested Pasanda which wasn’t on the menu. He was more than happy to oblige and even offered nuts and raisins in the dish. It was the best pasanda I’ve ever tasted. He bagged up my left overs and I discovered he’d put a free pudding in the bag. The service was excellent and we were checked on many times. Superb! You won’t be disappointed

What a great place for an evening out; delicious food in a lovely environment with delightful staff who are helpful and friendly. It is a great place for gluten free and for vegetarians and vegans. We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful find! First-class. Great evening of beautiful food and a lovely, welcoming restaurant. Varied vegetarian menu with marvellous flavours and detail. Samosa chaat to start was superb. Mains were impeccable. Friendly staff, super accommodating and kind. Can’t wait to head back.

If you want fresh and really tasty food then this is the place to go! We've had a takeaway before from here, which was very good, however, we've really enjoyed our food tonight in the restaurant. The staff were lovely and helpful. We felt relaxed. The food was so good. I had the best Butter Chicken Makhani with delicious mushroom rice (the best I've had). I can highly recommend this place. We will return.

The staff were extremely friendly and efficient in getting us seated and served. The food did take a lickle while to arrive but we were a large group and everything was cooked to perfection. The whole experience was very good and I would defiantly visit again.

Perfect from start to finish! I came here with my dad here for his 60th birthday and the food was amazing along with the service and the staff were so friendly. The staff surprised my dad with a cake and sang happy birthday to him which made his night. I will be returning 😊

If you are looking for a venue for a large group and want your own private dining space then look no where else but here. We had our annual club curry night and there were 28 of us so it was great to have our own room where we could mingle as we had a buffet style meal for ease,every dish was superb and tasty,the staff were great and attentive,and everyone throughly enjoyed our evening and we will be returning 100% guaranteed. Great food however what let it down was the 60 minute wait for my starter. When we finally questioned the reason for the delay, we were told there was a table of 30 upstairs. Very poor customer service. Don't visit there if you're hungry!

Really lovely food highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to eat later on in the evening (after 9:30) and we stumbled across this place. We’re both vegetarian and had poppadoms, the veggie platter for two to start and then shared the paneer tikka masala, the chana masala and the tadka dahl to share with pilau rice and a garlic and coriander naan. The food was incredible and the portion sizes were incredibly generous. Kush, our waiter, was very friendly and gave great service. Will definitely be back.

If you don't mind wasting time and money this is the place for you. We visited Korma Sutra and out of all the Indian style restaurants we have dined at this is by far the worst. Poor quality food, slow service, bright lighting. It reminded us that it's just set up to make money from it's unsuspecting customers. Recipe for disaster.

Wonderful place, staff and food!

We have had take away from here a couple of times but decided to dine in. Everything was made fresh and was very tasty. We had a korma, naans, lamb dhaba and a mango lassi. It was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. Thank you for a great meal and experience in store and we will be back!

I absolutely loved the food, the people and the relaxed surroundings. I have to say the food was way above the standard of the usual Indian restaurant. We will return for sure. Lovely owners. I want to highly recommend the lamb chops but I won’t because I want to make sure there is enough for me for next time. I ordered them twice they were that good. Sooo delish ….

We eat here from time to time but tonight was exceptionally good. The food was , as always, great and the service was great also. I am so sad that people feel it is ok to book tables to then not turn up, and we discussed whether it was other local businesses trying to put this fantastic restaurant out of business. When we suggested asking for a small deposit to book, the owner said that he wanted to trust clients who ask to book …..we think he ought to ask for a deposit and that would stop people not turning up! This is a great local restaurant with amazing food and it needs supporting !

Went in on the off chance but so glad we did. The food was delicious. Dhaba chicken and Chicken Korma. Naan breads, rice etc. Everything was really tasty. All served fresh and hot. Service was very good with well mannered, friendly staff. We were visiting from Liverpool or we would be going all the time. It was a pleasure to meet you, Tripta and Kush. Went here on the recommendation of a friend and very pleased that I did. The food was exceptional. The starters - Boti Pudina and Tandoor Salmon were a class above the usual curry house fare. The mains Dhaba Chicken and Palak Paneer were just as good and the knowledgable and friendly staff couldn’t have done more for us. We will definitely be going back.
