Lovely food in relaxing surroundings

They only got 1 star because 0 isn't an option. Ordered a collection through yoyo for a 1925 hrs collection, food eventually came out at 2016 hrs after several complaints and numerous excuses including blaming yoyo., who by the way don't appear to have an option for a refund. Food was cold and tasteless! Do yourself a favour and go to the Bridge and Bayleaf instead who are 5 star all the way.

Unfortunately gone down hill alot over the past few years. Was very nice once upon a time but poor watery curry's now unfortunately with very little flavour

Just always good and reliable. Food is great, good service, this is usually our "go to" place for Indian food.

We have just collected some takeaway from here, have to say disappointing, the keema naaan was ??? Nothing like we get from your Indian nights at West bridgford, tiny amounts of chicken in the Rogan josh, flavourless, no poppadoms like you get in your other location and was cold.photo of the said keema Naan, never seen meat like this before???? Not properly cooked either! Second time round and still not great will not be ordering from yourselves again.

Not used this branch for at least 5 years and will never go for a take away again.....there was very little chicken in the rogan josh and the kebab tray was cold and as for the lkeema naan? was a red sauce of who knows....wife rang up to complain and the staff on the phone were arrogant we don't complain but this was shocking...avoid the place or waste your money...

Leaving 3 stares because I'm not going damage someone's business. This place used to be amazing, i used to go 3 or 4 times a week, but it's not the same as it was unfortunately. The nan bread was stale and in multiple peaces and that's just the start. Obviously kitchen staff don't care to send that out. The rice wasn't great and the chicken was tough and no flavou. If it was good I would have gone back multiple times a week. I have looked at photos from years ago and it don't compare. Sack the kitchen staff and get proper chefs in

Delicious food. Good parking. Nice place for either a restaurant meal or a takeaway.

I thought the service was bad. But then I had the food. Which was disgusting. School dinner level cooking. We all left the food and ended up microwaving something from the freezer. How on earth is this place remaining in business?

We had pre-booked and we had to wait 30 minutes for our table. We spent another 40 minutes ordering drinks and then a further 3o minutes for the meal. The experience was 3 hours. The food was delicious. But very expensive.

Two of us visited this restaurant on Saturday evening and were staggered to see their pricing is higher than that at MemSaab in Nottingham, a nationally renowned Indian Restaurant used by the Indian cricket team when playing at Trent Bridge. We ordered the Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh so that we could compare with the same dishes at the best and Indian Nights fell well short. The Butter Chicken was floating in a bowl full to the brim with sauce and was more akin to chicken soup than a curry in every respect. The Lamb Rogan Josh was barely mediocre. If you’re going to charge top prices you have to deliver at that level and Indian Nights just doesn’t. The food for our main courses was brought out at intervals over several minutes rather than all at the same time - seriously amateurish organisation by the kitchen. The best I can say about this restaurant is that the staff were polite but we certainly won’t be returning, ever.

Amazing food! The waiters were really friendly and one of them played the guitar for us which was nice.

The food here is unfailingly excellent....the staff welcome you as you come in and always say goodbye on ur way out....the pickle trays with the poppadoms are the best I've ever seen....highly recommended..

BEWARE THE OWNER takes the tips from waiters and never gives them back!!!! Very unfair! I tipped the waiter for the excellent service I was provided with..and not the owner, what a thief!

Superb curry and great service!! Will definitely be returning soon. The most phenomenal experience around with delightful and authentic indian cuisine. 3 generations have been grateful for this restaurant being open and there will be many more generations to come.A timeless restaurant that we will always make time for.

Really disappointed has the chef changed?? We ordered a takeaway as hadn’t tried one for a while and had previously loved this place. Onion bargee nice, kebabs tasted odd. Food very dry in spite of sauce. Pickle tray rubbish - no lime pickle, no mango chutney, red sauce nothing like it used to be and the onion/tomato relish not a relish at all just big chunks of raw onion. We have never had a bad meal here (until now) and has put us off going again.

Came here for my daughters birthday. The service and food was of extremely high standard and the added touch of the birthday cake and sparkler for my daughter made a really special and memorable evening. Thank you Indian nights will be back!

The staff are so friendly and nice , but was really disappointed with our takeaway order . The lamb Biriyani had about 4 pieces of small lamb and massive amount of rice with a omelette on top , the order I think was forgotten as we sat waiting 30 minutes until the manager asked us why waiting . It was cold when home and 5 minutes drive so had to microwave it all . Won’t bother again

Went here for a family meal on a Sunday night fairly quiet. Very enjoyable evening. Not the cheapest place but the quality, quantity was excellent so you get what you pay for really. Service excellent

We've been using Indian Nights for years as the service has always been good and the food excellent. We've had the same consistent quality eating in or takeaway but, sadly, this evenings experience was totally different. We ordered the Chefs Special Set Menu to take away because I cannot eat anything too hot or spicy. The staff were running around like mad things and all seemed confusion so it wasn't until we got home that we realised we'd been given the Indian Nights Special Set Menu which was, for me,totally inedible. I hate wasting food but, despite my best efforts, I had to throw mine away and even my partner, who likes spicy food was unable to eat all of his. So disappointing. I think we'll have to find somewhere else for our takeaway from now on.

Excellent service, good menu and food.

Delicious food. When we attended they were busy, and our large group didn't get our orders taken when we probably should. But the food also wasn't delayed and it isn't a criticism in any way, that they were busy!

We came as a party of 9 this evening to celebrate a birthday and had a fantastic evening as always. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are always friendly and attentive, topped off by lovely decor and atmosphere. This is always the place we come for an Indian meal and I would definitely recommend to friends.

Booked a table for 6pm so there was still plenty of tables free when we arrived, we were shown to a table in the back corner of the restaurant near a glass door so I kept my coat on most of the time as it was cold in the restaurant and colder near the door, there was also cobwebs above my head in the corner of the wall. The popadoms and sauces were nice but too many sauces which you didn’t know what they were, think they should keep them to the usual, mango, lime , mint/yoghurt, onions, save on the wastage. My starter Bengan paneer didn’t look appetising at all, and didn’t taste good either lacked in flavour, waiter did say I could change for something else and he suggested onion bhaji which I said yes and when they came out he said complimentary but they were on our bill at the end. My chicken dish again lacked that full Indian depth of flavours and only had 4 biggish chunks of chicken and then all sauce, no fresh coriander, my BF had king prawn biriyani which was ok but left some of the prawns as they looked uncooked. There was no nice presentation to the food tbh it looked like slop and we had Christmas serviettes. It’s expensive to eat out and this place was a real disappointment, we will not be recommending or returning. Now that I look at the receipt I’m pretty sure we were over charged for the biryani too.

Had the most incredible meal as always! Prawns were to die for ! Fabulous mains and ordered a take away for our teenage daughter who remained at home ! Only for her to also receive the five star treatment that we had received in their beautiful restaurant! With the added charming addition of a chocolate orange 🍊 Thank you so much ! Xxx

The food was absolutely delicious! The service second to none, extremely polite and well mannered waiting staff. Food arrived promptly and smelt delightful! And when I tasted my curry I actually had a facegasm. Wallop. I’d say it was the best curry I’ve ever put in my lips. Fact.

Absolutely excellent food. First time coming here for my partner and myself. We felt like we were treated like royalty as we didn’t feel like we had to rush our food and they gave us plenty of time between courses so we had time to enjoy the food. We left feeling very happy and for once we didn’t feel ill or bloated after leaving a restaurant. This place as gone to the top of our list

Since Indian Nights opened, we have been many times and always enjoy taking friends there. During the past 19 months of world chaos, it has remained one of the constants which we have been very grateful for and more recently as we've started to brave the world again and chosen to enjoy time in the restaurant again, rather than what had become our usual takeaway treat, we have enjoyed the excellent, food, service & ambience. It's been great to spend time with our Indian Nights friends again. We look forward to many more enjoyable visits in the future. Thank you Indian Nights, it's great to be back. Alistair & Adele

We’ve eaten here literally hundreds of times over the last 12 years, and there’s a reason we keep coming back. The food is consistently good (my fave’s the Dilkush), there’s great variety and the whole team is friendly and professional. I cannot recommend it enough, a real hidden gem.

Having been a customer for a number of years we returned to the restaurant recently and are sorry to report a very poor experience. Despite a table being booked for half 7 upon arriving we had to wait 45 minutes before our table was ready with no apology other than a shrug of the shoulders. The restaurant was very under staffed with just 3 waiters. The order taken without a smile and we were not asked around whether we wanted further drinks. Instead we had to resort to going up to the bar to remind the staff that we had ordered drinks 10 minutes ago. The main arrived with no plates or cutlery on the table and the main ultimately was not what we ordered. Bowls of chips arrived which we had not ordered, no naan bread and the mains of two people not chicken Tikka despite ordering. This led to two of my fellow diners eating their meal while we waited for our remade main to arrive. When it arrived there was a couple of pieces of scraggly chicken in a ladleful of sauce which had been spilt on the edge of the bowl. Hardly presentation to write home about. When our problems were pointed out the waiter had little concern other than suggesting we had ordered incorrectly and that he was short staffed. If you are short staffed and busy then do not accept the reservation! Ultimately the worst meal we have had at Indian nights after 5 years of patronage. It will be a while till we return.

First Indian from my new local and thoroughly disappointed. The curry was incredibly bland, the sause thin and lacking anything but the meat. The chicken tikka I suspect saw a splash of food colouring but definitely hadn't been prepared as tika. Won't be returning, especially as they demand a premium price and displayed poor customer service.

Worst takeaway I have ever had

New years eve takeaway. Online order. Clearly understaffed as people were complaining about delays. Starter of mixed kebab very good but it went downhill thereafter. Got home to find no rice provided and the main of chicken tikka masala was dreadful. Unedible chicken floating in pink water. We also ordered a takeaway a few days before Christmas which was poor. After many years of custom we will now look elsewhere

Hemos comido aquí un par de veces y comimos bastantes comidas para llevar. Nunca decepciona, la comida siempre está lista a tiempo, si no pedimos popadums, generalmente hay un par allí de todos modos. La comida siempre está caliente, de buena calidad y la ordenan bien.El personal siempre es amable y simpático, le abre las puertas y, en la pandemia actual, la desinfección está disponible antes de ingresar al edificio. Probablemente la mejor casa de curry local por valor y calidad.

He estado viniendo aquí durante años, siempre he tenido buena comida. No ha sido desde el episodio de Covid, así que tenía muchas ganas de intentarlo una vez más. En primer lugar, el restaurante hace mucho frío. Pasamos la noche con las bufandas puestas e incluso contemplamos volver a ponernos las chaquetas. Desafortunadamente, hace tanto frío que disuade la comida. Descubrimos que también tuvo un efecto en la comida, no se mantuvo caliente por mucho tiempo.También solían hacer un delicioso arroz integral con curry, este ha sido reemplazado por arroz Pilau amarillo con trozos agrupados.El tikka de cordero a la parrilla mixta ha sido reemplazado por unas chuletas de cordero que son principalmente huesos. Una vez más, no tan bien como antes.El personal era vacilante como siempre y usaba máscaras. Eran los mismos menús de respaldo duro que siempre hemos tenido y no estoy seguro de que estén siendo limpiados porque había una gota de curry seco viejo dentro del mío de algún otro comensal anterior.Realmente no nos apetece volver hasta que haga más calor y sentimos que el restaurante se ha enamorado un poco de sí mismo. ¡Comido un par de veces desde que dejó de ser un pequeño chef! ¡Siempre bueno hasta la comida para llevar para terminar todas las comidas para llevar! ¡No puedo creer que haya comido el peor curry desde 1982! El chef debe haber estado en Ill. Rohan Josh tenía una rodaja de pimiento verde. . . . sin especias. . . . no tiene sabor . . . . líquido de tomate vago de un frasco. Fue terrible. El plato de cordero y espinacas no tenía ningún sabor. La cocina debe haberse quedado sin ingredientes. Ya no se lo recomendaría a nadie. Triste pero hay mejores opciones en la zona.

Absolute joke of a curry house. Overbooked and understaffed. Had us waiting, stood in the car park for over an hour with 8 other tables. Even collections were waiting for at least 30 mins. If you fancy an evening stood in a cold carpark next to a veterinary practice and a petrol station then this is the place for you. If you fancy a curry I'd probably give it a miss. I think I could have flown to India for the real thing by the time we'd have had our food.

Collected takeaway from Indian Nights. Service was good but food was not. The sauces were bland and lacked any vegetables - containing just overly large chunks of chicken, which as a result were pink the in the middle.

Al principio pensé que era jarabe dorado, pero era la miel procesada más barata posible. Fue horrible.El camarero simplemente dijo 'eso es peshawi naan, todo el mundo lo entiende'. Pedí que lo retiraran y que en su lugar tuviera un naan sencillo. No era comestible. Conseguí un naan sencillo pero el naan peshwari no fue tomado de la mesa ni de la cuenta.Se dejó la mayor parte de la comida y pedimos la factura. Otros 20 minutos para que llegue.Este restaurante no es barato. El menú está a precios de Londres a muy baja calidad. he tenido mejores comidas preparadas.Había tantas cosas por debajo del estándar sobre este restaurante, raspa un 2.No volveré y no puedo recomendar esto.

We have eaten here a many times now. It is a little off the beaten track however it is well worth a visit. The food is good. The staff are professional and attentive.

Stopped off here by chance . The food was delicious. The chicken Was tender and the sauces very flavoursome. The nann are delicious. Served by a lovely young man . We will definitely be coming back .

It's not for me. We had 3 takeaways none of which were appealing- not even the onion bhajis. It all felt a bit low on quality and care. We filled on online feedback but didn't here anything back hence this post.

We have been dining at Indiannights since they opened over 10 years ago,Always Wonderfull.We usually dine in but last week opted for a takeaway. Our guests(a party of 15) were very impressed with the quality and taste of the food.Overall it was a fantastic evening.

We have Visited here many times when I say many must be 50+, the food has always been fantastic and very good value for money, unfortunately the last three visits have been very poor, The food was very basic with little taste, had two sit downs and one take away. A crying shame as this was the place to go.

Intentaste culparme de cometer un error en línea. . . ¡No hice la reserva en línea! !Mis invitados. . . En particular, mi padre estaba muy insultado por la falta de servicio al cliente. . . After following what would be the normal way of reviewing different restaurants, it came as a surprise following writing a truthful review some 9 months ago, that my family and i arrive to give the restaurant another chance to find out we are no longer welcome and was asked to leave. The mangers words, “last time you were here you wrote a bad review”. I said yes, i did the food was terrible - well more the service”. To then be told ( a father and twins of 8rs old) to leave and we would not be welcome.
