We visited with family and were very impressed. We asked for food recommendations, as there were so many dishes to choose from. The food was excellent and different from anything else we had ever tasted before. The staff were extremely friendly and communicated well. The music was a bit bland and modern, so I would recommend playing Indian music for an authentic experience! We shall definitely be back if we have the opportunity!

Probably one of the tastiest curry’s I’ve had in a long while. I was a little apprehensive as it was empty when we arrived at 8pm on a Saturday evening but as we’d been once before a while ago and really enjoyed it. We were not disappointed and will definitely be going back.

Ordered for the second time, just moved to Ruddington, when I say we have eaten Indians all over Nottingham , I mean we have had 4 different houses and we know our Indian food. Pretty much eaten in every Indian across Nottingham. This is hands down the tastiest most flavourful Indian I have ever had, we have told all our family and friends about it , mam (the owner came to deliver our second order tonight and particularly took care in reading our order notes which was noted and it was absolutely outstanding. I shook his hand. The jalfrezi and dupiarza was next level, the chicken fell to pieces in your mouth, best mushroom bagji I hve ever tasted and I hate coriander and I couldn’t get enough. Lots of sauces and fantastic customer service. You have found local customers in us mam , we will see you next weekend at the restaurant for a meal , Love Tanisha and Rebecca.

Came here for a staff leaving do, the staff Mamun and Mab were fantastic and very welcoming, they also went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing. Will definitely recommend and be back!

The food is amazing!!!! One of the nicest restaurants I've been to for quite some time. Rashid in particular was very accommodating, polite and swift. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the restrooms were very clean. I would strongly recommend a visit to Dhaka Delhi. Thankyou for such a nice evening 10/10

Nice food the quality and flavors were delicious.however one thing I found was there was a huge wait from starters to main. They brought the Currys out then started to photograph the curries on the table, before bringing rice and nans out. I found this very unprofessional the wait was longer. One of the curries was almost forgotten and they started clearing up before we had finished. Overall nice food and good company. Staff were polite and courteous and I can't fault that but taking photographs was just a no.

Absolutely awful, recovering from an alcohol problem and you can’t take your own soft drinks. Be warned if you don’t drink a pint of coke will cost you almost £6 Disgusting Won’t be returning

Booked to be there for 10pm food was definitely not fresh lamb was dry portions were small. Honestly could say 8 of the 10 didn't really enjoy the food 3 spices was head and shoulders better in our opinion

Takeaway- first time we’ve tried Dhaka Delhi since we moved to Ruddington and definitely won’t be the last. Really helpful over the phone with the order price is what you’d expect and food and delivery were really good. The menu has many new dishes for us and we chose the Megna Tawa amongst other dishes. It was amazing. Will definitely try eating in the restaurant next.

Never had a bad meal from the Dhaka, Tikka and Korma lovely every time. Owner is a lovely bloke, always happy to help. Top Nosh.

Delicious food delivered in super quick time

Always fantastic! I love the began bortha, lamb is always tender and flavourful. Not too hot, but some of the spicier dishes still have enough kick. All around great.

Friday was my first time ordering takeaway food from this restaurant. The food was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed my birthday meal, will certainly be ordering from here again, highly recommended.

The prices for this restaurant are cheaper than our usual so we thought we'd try. As suspected (but NOT disappointed) the portions were slightly smaller, which was great because we often end up throwing away a lot of food. We absolutely loved everything we ordered, my favourite Tarka Dhal did not disappoint, it was so so so delicious. Food came a little earlier than expected which was also great! We will definitely order here again.

I have been a returning customer of Dhaka Delhi for what must be well over 5 years by now. I could write at length about the incredible food and service but my experience is far more personal. This is the takeaway that solidly fixed my taste on this Bangladeshi style of curry - but the greatest irony? No matter where I go? There is absolutely no competition for the quality (and value!) that I've come to expect from this humble Ruddington outlet. My routine selection is the achari gosht, a hearty lamb dish served with chillied mangos, and where they don't hold back with the tang of the citric ingredients, the savoury of the meat is all the more round, full and vibrant in flavour. It is an absolutely exquisite meal, easily my favourite dish and this is the restaurant where I learned a passion for it. I have never ate it anywhere else that comes close to the one served here! Every time I return to Nottingham, I make a point to return to Dhaka Delhi just for this dish. Besides the achari is also the Dhamaka Murug, a dish they will serve to an intense spice that, for my money, is more heat and far more flavour than you'd find from your typical high street Jalfrezi. There are so many fabulous dishes among the chef specialties, even their naan carries a distinctive aroma and body that I just don't see in other takeaways. I can't talk them up enough; get out of your comfort zone, try something new, get some spice in you, you won't be disappointed!

food was over 30 mins... i pre ordered before the restaurant was open yet I got told the they busy.. food was cold when it turned up finally.... previously had no issues with the restaurant but terrible today

Traffic problems caused late delivery. Usually on time - and worth waiting for!

The food was ok. The experience was awful the staff are rude.. there is one particular person that is very forceful and they struggled with a larger group and different orders alot of orders were wrong and some dishes didn't even come out to the table. It's also not explained that popadoms and pickle trays were added to the bill despite not being asked how many we would like or weather we wanted them as some people didn't eat them as they got taken away from the table without concent also the staff member took it up on himself to add these to the bill despite him suggesting to add them to the table. At the end of the meal we got charged an extra £14 on the bill we payed it but later worked out we were charged for an extra curry we didn't receive nor order! Later walking by the resterrant one of the staff members were speaking to a member of the public about how we were nightmare customers. I assure you we were polite considering how poor the service was. Definitely need a change over of staff! Also if you are disabled and require a wheel chair bare in mind the staff won't help you when entering the premisses it was a struggle and the staff just stood and watched! Definitely wouldn't recommend here!

Well, where do I start. Cannot take your own tonic water for gin . They charge you £2.50 for small bottles, and it is supposed to bring your own booze . My wife got told to remove her bottle tonic from window so people cannot see it from the street. Food my nan was undercooked and stoggy ,then I found a rubber band in my curry . Told the staff but no apologies from management. They just wanted to get us out the restaurant so I didn't kick off . I didn't pay for my half eaten curry . Not be returning.

I wasn't very happy with my order.. we ordered an chicken Rogan Josh, and chicken bhuna. Both tasted the same, absolutely no curry heat in it. I ordered and garlic and cheese naan, I had a plain naan. Not sure I will order from here again

All of the food was cold, when I order takeaway I expect it to be piping hot, lamb biryani, keema Naan and mixed kebab all cold, £19 wasted. Won't be ordering from here again.

The best Indian. Always so fresh!

Had the set meal for 4; quantity was good and the meat (chicken & lamb) was all well cooked & tender. Down side for me was that there was too much sweetness to flavours; the tikka masala seemed sweet & coconutty, and the peshwari nan too sugary to eat. Also all the food was too mild for me, I prefer more hot spices. We had intended to eat in but when we sat down the bright lighting and big open window made us all feel too much “on show” so we changed our minds and ordered the food as a takeaway. Also we hadn’t realised there is a no alcohol policy which I really don’t like! Staff all seemed very helpful and friendly.

Very nice quality meat but felt a little let down by the unexpected sweet taste of some dishes, lack of spicy heat too. Tables layed out nice and clean, but not so keen on the glass fronted window, personally I like a little more privacy, maybe some mirrored type glass so one can see out but not be so on view by passers-by. Lacking atmosphere too.

As always, food was superb. The fact that it was late was not the fault of the driver,as Green lane was closed. So the driver had to do a detour around the estate. This in no way altered the fact that we enjoyed our delivery and in no way stop me ordering from this restaurant.

Arrived on time and was excellent.

Compared to previous experiences this was poor! Order wasn’t right, the chicken was dry, the tikka sauce was watery, just overall very disappointing! At least it wasn’t an hour late and cold!..
