One item on my order was missing food was cold and very greasy and didn’t taste how it should very disappointed as I used to be a regular there as the food and service was great before 😕

Booked to be there for 10pm food was definitely not fresh lamb was dry portions were small. Honestly could say 8 of the 10 didn't really enjoy the food 3 spices was head and shoulders better in our opinion

Takeaway- first time we’ve tried Dhaka Delhi since we moved to Ruddington and definitely won’t be the last. Really helpful over the phone with the order price is what you’d expect and food and delivery were really good. The menu has many new dishes for us and we chose the Megna Tawa amongst other dishes. It was amazing. Will definitely try eating in the restaurant next.

Never had a bad meal from the Dhaka, Tikka and Korma lovely every time. Owner is a lovely bloke, always happy to help. Top Nosh.

Always fantastic! I love the began bortha, lamb is always tender and flavourful. Not too hot, but some of the spicier dishes still have enough kick. All around great.

Friday was my first time ordering takeaway food from this restaurant. The food was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed my birthday meal, will certainly be ordering from here again, highly recommended.

The prices for this restaurant are cheaper than our usual so we thought we'd try. As suspected (but NOT disappointed) the portions were slightly smaller, which was great because we often end up throwing away a lot of food. We absolutely loved everything we ordered, my favourite Tarka Dhal did not disappoint, it was so so so delicious. Food came a little earlier than expected which was also great! We will definitely order here again.

I have been a returning customer of Dhaka Delhi for what must be well over 5 years by now. I could write at length about the incredible food and service but my experience is far more personal. This is the takeaway that solidly fixed my taste on this Bangladeshi style of curry - but the greatest irony? No matter where I go? There is absolutely no competition for the quality (and value!) that I've come to expect from this humble Ruddington outlet. My routine selection is the achari gosht, a hearty lamb dish served with chillied mangos, and where they don't hold back with the tang of the citric ingredients, the savoury of the meat is all the more round, full and vibrant in flavour. It is an absolutely exquisite meal, easily my favourite dish and this is the restaurant where I learned a passion for it. I have never ate it anywhere else that comes close to the one served here! Every time I return to Nottingham, I make a point to return to Dhaka Delhi just for this dish. Besides the achari is also the Dhamaka Murug, a dish they will serve to an intense spice that, for my money, is more heat and far more flavour than you'd find from your typical high street Jalfrezi. There are so many fabulous dishes among the chef specialties, even their naan carries a distinctive aroma and body that I just don't see in other takeaways. I can't talk them up enough; get out of your comfort zone, try something new, get some spice in you, you won't be disappointed!

food was over 30 mins... i pre ordered before the restaurant was open yet I got told the they busy.. food was cold when it turned up finally.... previously had no issues with the restaurant but terrible today

Traffic problems caused late delivery. Usually on time - and worth waiting for!

The food was ok. The experience was awful the staff are rude.. there is one particular person that is very forceful and they struggled with a larger group and different orders alot of orders were wrong and some dishes didn't even come out to the table. It's also not explained that popadoms and pickle trays were added to the bill despite not being asked how many we would like or weather we wanted them as some people didn't eat them as they got taken away from the table without concent also the staff member took it up on himself to add these to the bill despite him suggesting to add them to the table. At the end of the meal we got charged an extra £14 on the bill we payed it but later worked out we were charged for an extra curry we didn't receive nor order! Later walking by the resterrant one of the staff members were speaking to a member of the public about how we were nightmare customers. I assure you we were polite considering how poor the service was. Definitely need a change over of staff! Also if you are disabled and require a wheel chair bare in mind the staff won't help you when entering the premisses it was a struggle and the staff just stood and watched! Definitely wouldn't recommend here!

Did somebody write their food was fatty? well fat is good and I loved my fatty saag paneer. best preparation of this dish I've ever had.

Well, where do I start. Cannot take your own tonic water for gin . They charge you £2.50 for small bottles, and it is supposed to bring your own booze . My wife got told to remove her bottle tonic from window so people cannot see it from the street. Food my nan was undercooked and stoggy ,then I found a rubber band in my curry . Told the staff but no apologies from management. They just wanted to get us out the restaurant so I didn't kick off . I didn't pay for my half eaten curry . Not be returning.

I wasn't very happy with my order.. we ordered an chicken Rogan Josh, and chicken bhuna. Both tasted the same, absolutely no curry heat in it. I ordered and garlic and cheese naan, I had a plain naan. Not sure I will order from here again

All of the food was cold, when I order takeaway I expect it to be piping hot, lamb biryani, keema Naan and mixed kebab all cold, £19 wasted. Won't be ordering from here again.

The best Indian. Always so fresh!

Had the set meal for 4; quantity was good and the meat (chicken & lamb) was all well cooked & tender. Down side for me was that there was too much sweetness to flavours; the tikka masala seemed sweet & coconutty, and the peshwari nan too sugary to eat. Also all the food was too mild for me, I prefer more hot spices. We had intended to eat in but when we sat down the bright lighting and big open window made us all feel too much “on show” so we changed our minds and ordered the food as a takeaway. Also we hadn’t realised there is a no alcohol policy which I really don’t like! Staff all seemed very helpful and friendly.

Very nice quality meat but felt a little let down by the unexpected sweet taste of some dishes, lack of spicy heat too. Tables layed out nice and clean, but not so keen on the glass fronted window, personally I like a little more privacy, maybe some mirrored type glass so one can see out but not be so on view by passers-by. Lacking atmosphere too.

As always, food was superb. The fact that it was late was not the fault of the driver,as Green lane was closed. So the driver had to do a detour around the estate. This in no way altered the fact that we enjoyed our delivery and in no way stop me ordering from this restaurant.

Arrived on time and was excellent.

Compared to previous experiences this was poor! Order wasn’t right, the chicken was dry, the tikka sauce was watery, just overall very disappointing! At least it wasn’t an hour late and cold!..

I order from here regularly, surprised my last order was not as good as usual, pasanta's concistency was quite thick, and papadoms arrived all broken into tiny pieces and crumbs, shame.

Disappointing from Dhaka Delhi last night. Food arrived on time. They forgot the rice (order was literally three items, a biryani, main and rice). When we called the response 'how would you like me to resolve it?'. Well how did you think - it was a fairly integral element to the meal particularly as there was no bread. When we asked if one could be sent, the response was 'well we're very busy and you are quite far away so we will see what we can do'. Husband calls back when I just tell him we'll share the biryani and so he says not to bother we will have a refund on the rice. Ten minutes he was kept on the phone while they discussed in the background then he was told they couldn't refund the rice as we had ordered form just eat (this is rubbish). We were offered an extra rice next time we ordered, informed them not to bother as we won't be ordering again. A little advice to the restaurant - if you make an error, just fix it. don't argue. you have lost a regular customer now. The food we did have was stone cold, not helped by the rigmarole of trying to sort it out and the veggie curry was just pure oil and no flavour.

Delivery was late and the food was cold when it arrived.

Not visited for a while, but we took friends for their first visit. We weren't disappointed!! The menu was still as good as before with extensive choice and some specialities such as the Dhamaka Murug which was excellent! The staff as always were really helpful and friendly and the quality of the food was very good.

Just had a wonderful meal with superb staff who made the evening really enjoyable. The food was fresh, tasty with a good choice of dishes. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. We will be making this our regular Indian restaurant.

They organised a set menu for us which was ace and it was BYOB. You can even bring your drinks from the Framebreakers pub nextdoor! Really impressed and will be going back! Thanks for having us.

Requested 19:40, delivered after 19:50. This morning was not a problem. Just being honest. Food was not that hot in temperature. Was just warm. It was tasty though.

Have eaten in the restaurant before so knew takeaway would be good. I love the tandoori chicken saag and chicken pasanda. Delicious flavours, decent portion sizes, and it was ready early - we’ll definitely be back.

Not very impressed... Food was early, however the quality was sub par, and despite us being less than a half mile away (both suffering flu so didn't want to venture out) it seemed both reheated, and pretty much room temperature. We also got two extra pilau rice, and a strange half filled tub of chickpeas, potatoes, and two mushrooms. Not sure what that was. Won't be rushing back

We travel from beyond Radcliffe on Trent to meet our friends here, they travel from Nuthall, so it’s sort of half way, but to be honest it’s the standard of food and great service that bring us back time after time. Very comprehensive selection for meat eaters and vegetarian alike. It’s a great find, easy to park and bring your own wine. Just fabulous

Great flavours & good quality food

Excellent service and fast delivery, food was very good, I toned down my usual orders as it was a new venue we tried, but what we had was excellent and worth the price.

The delivery driver could not find our house even though I left explicit instructions of how to find us. Even when he rang to say he could not find us and given more instructions he still never managed to find us, my husband had to go out and find him. Hence the food was cold. The restaurant is less than a kilometre from us. Food good, delivery awful. Where do you find these drivers??
