Three Spices in Rushcliffe

I went in on Valentine’s day with my 2-year old and husband. Trust me, this is one of the worst restaurants that serves the worst Indian food. Most of the items had colour which is harmful for health which we found after ordering. While other Indian restaurants suggest us food according to our taste, they just took in the order whatever we ordered. Prawn cocktail was one cold food which we ordered unknowingly and they dint feel the importance to suggest us not to. To be straightforward their food dint appeal to our Indian taste buds. Their service was also very cold and their attitude was unwelcoming. Would never suggest anyone to visit and would never visit again

My partner and I went for the Tuesday Night Banquet. There was a varied choice of dishes as well as upgrades available. I’d highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Puri starter. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service really was impressive. We had the pleasure of dealing with 4 different members of the team who all great, very courteous, knowledgable and also quite funny. This wasn’t our first time at The Three Spices, each time it is just as fabulous. We will definitely be back. Thank you all.

impeccable quality and service, never been disappointed when coming here, staff are absolutely lovely and go the extra mile for each and every customer. something on the menu for anybody, would recommend to anybody in a heartbeat. will never stop coming here!!!

Decor - tired and dated and looking a bit grubby in places (dried on curry splash marks on the wall). table cloth had dark marks on it. Pilau rice - was missing the saffron to give it the yellow look and flavour. Chicken Jalfrezi - the chicken was dry and didn’t taste freshly cooked. Sauce was okay but nothing special. Naan bread - the best part of the meal. This was fresh and very tasty. Service wasn’t up to the high standards normally received in an Indian restaurant. The rice came out first then 4mins later the curry dish came out, followed by the naan bread 3 mins after the curry dish. The restaurant wasn’t busy - only 7 tables in use and 3 of those had nearly finished their meals. Takeaways were busy but should not impact the restaurant side. It’s a shame but first and last visit - better Indian restaurants to be found in the local area.

I was really looking forward to this one based on the reviews, but it was nothing like it. The restaurant is a small room at the back of a pub that was more like a cafeteria rather than a restaurant with people walking in and out all the time fetching takeaways from the kitchen to the bar. It honestly felt like we were sat in a corridor. I should have trusted my instincts when I first walked in to just walk out, even our table cloth was stained. The food wasn’t that special either. I think that says enough!! Disappointing and we won’t be returning no would we recommend anyone visit

I always have a lovely visit to three spices, the food is always excellent and never waiting for your meal as it is always on time. The staff are really lovely and they always greet you at the door with a smile. It is affordable prices and you never get let down with your meal as it is always good. I would definitely recommend for anyone to pay a visit to this restaurant.

We had a table booked for 8pm we got seated 20min late due to how busy they were. We ordered a mild lamb curry for 2 to share with chips rice n bread and 3 tapas meals, when the lamb curry arrived we had high hopes as the looks and flavours were great but the rest of it fell short, the bombay potatoes in a spicy sauce had zero spice served in a tomato and onion base sauce and the bhuna was cooked in exactly the same sauce (not curry base sauce) the only difference was the chicken instead of potatoes, the onion pakora/bhaji were ok, chicken kormas good flavour and mild as you would expect, shredded chicken was like sweet and sour Chinese chicken. We received a bill of £104 after getting charged for drinks we never had, we made them aware it was wrong and received another bill for £84 which still included drinks we never had. We eventually got the correct bill of £63 they had kindly deducted a couple of sundries which I presume was for the short wait. Service was slow considering the restaurant is literally a small room in the back of a pub, staff were really polite and friendly the place had a good atmosphere. For a family of 5 I am use to paying considerably more when we eat out but on this occasion I'm happy this was the final bill to reflect the food we received.

Love this place, the food, the service, the price, the restaurant vibe - all of it. No request is too much for the staff they are always happy to cater for your not so spicy palette if you dont like it too hot. If this was the only place i could eat for the rest of my life id be happy with that. Well done Three Spices 10/10 from me.

Our favourite curry restaurant, especially the Tapas Thali menu on Monday nights. Fantastic choice of dishes, excellent service and all the staff are so welcoming. Had a couple of deliveries and these were just as good. Can't wait to come back

Fantastic restaurant great service and food is always amazing. would reccommend for a date night celebration or birthday they have always been super helpfull with group bookings too. The takeaway food is just as good as eating in deffinatly worth a try if you cant make it out.

The staff are friendly and attentive, carefully waiting on your every need. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, and the food is to die for, all of the dishes have been extremely well-prepared, the meat has been cooked perfectly, and all of the flavours have been perfected too. I would absolutely reccomend eating here!

We went early to get a table, and the place soon filled up. The restaurant is tucked away at the rear of a pub, and you could easily miss this little gem. The service was excellent. Warm friendly staff, who are friendly and attentive. I ordered a hot meat starter, which did not disappoint. Nice and spicy but packed with flavour. My wife had bhaji, which was also delicious. For main, I had the lamb chilli pepper, and again, it was fantastic. Spicy, with such tender pieces of Lamb. Keema nan was full of keema and the garlic nan, packed with flavour. The Pasanda is not for me as it is very mild but great for the non-spicy brigade. After a great meal, we headed into the bar for a couple of drinks. Food is great, friendly staff, excellent presentation. Great value. We will see you again very soon.

I went to the Three Spices at Ruddington on my own on the 1st of May I sat in my favorite corner where my wife and I always sat. Unfortunately she has died recently. Obviously I was solo. Nice surprise on the wall was a photograph of myself, my wife and the owner of the restaurant and I thought what a nice touch. This was the service that I received last night. Thank you to Chef and the whole team.Was second to none more like I had my own personal waiter. I can only recommend this restaurant it has been one of the best for a curry that I have ever been in. Thank you very much. I really enjoyed it and I did enjoy the escort that was provided to take me to My taxi

Had takeaway food from here in the past but the last one I had was really bland couldn't taste the curry mostly tomatoes. It was a medium chicken roganjose won't be bothering again Shame as it's always been good from there but last nights went in the bin

We had the pleasure of having another great gluten free meal here. I had my favourite starter Sheek Kebab it was beautiful & tasty, actually the best I have had there, just perfect. For main again, I had my favourite Chicken Tikka Masala in a rich tomato sauce with a drizzle of cream along with pilau rice. My husband had Lamb Hydrabadi I have also tried this on another occasion. The Lamb just melts in the mouth it is in a reduced tomato onions & herbs. So once again, I highly recommend the Three Spices! If you look online and go to menus you will see there allergen menu showing gluten free as well as other allergens so check it out & plan what you can eat. You will not be disappointed!

We went for food with friends. The food was very good. It was really hot and tasty. The food came quick and the staff were super friendly. It came to £105 for the four of us with drinks which was not too expensive. Will be back again.

As ever, excellent food. Parking is a real pain as Ruddington has yellow lines almost everywhere. However, you might get a parking space in the village green, about 3 mins walk away. Take away food and some restaurants can be too 'sloppy'. Three Spices has a thicker, high quality consistency. The nam breads are huge and are definitely made fresh. Service is excellent and has a good atmosphere. There is a separate bar / pub style room where you can meet prior to the meal for a proper drink. The only disappointment is that this time they wanted us to pre-order on their app/website. This caused a bit of confusion with the rice/chips as 10 of us did this separately, so none of us knew who was /had ordered the sides as we normally share. We dont need 10 plates of chips and 10 bowls of rice. Also, two of the pre-orders weren't captured on the app, so we had to order theirs on the night anyway. I understand that pre-order helps them but the system doesn't work very well. All in all, top quality food at reasonable prices.

Food was a bit bland for an indian .plus food was warm not piping hot and i literally collected it ..chicken was nice but flavours wernt there for me .wont be going again sorry

I had a chicken tikka masala - it was incredible, sweet and creamy. Just what you want in a masala. Cheese and garlic nann bang on! And the mushroom rice was cooked to perfection. We will be back!!!!

First of all parking was awful not enough spaces if place is half full...staff very pleasent appetisers and starter OK.. Main was chicken tikka masala and pilau rice...rice was tasteless and curry was full of cream and way too much coconut sickly sweet preferred weatherspoons chicken tikka masala much tastier.

First time at the Three Spices since moving to Ruddington. Warm, friendly greeting and service throughout our meal. Huge menu to choose from and the food was tasty and plentiful. They were happy to provide take out boxes so we didn't waste what we couldn't eat. We will definitely be returning!

We ordered last night a chicken balti korma and keema rice and some other rice I have to say it was the blended food I've ever had. Only used this restaurant because of a so called friend . Three spices please use some spices.

I was excited to find out that one of the best rated Indian restaurants was around the corner after moving to the area. Alas, every time I go here I am a little bit more disappointed than before. I still hold out hope that I'll one day get a good curry. I find the Korai to be tasteless, there is no spice, it just doesn't taste like anything. However, the curry isn't greasy and the keema naan is ok. They give you a salad and occasional poppadom extra which is nice (with sauces).

What an amazing little restaurant. I definitely give this 5 stars for the amazing service, the most delicious food and all at a great price. The tables were beautifully set and the seating comfortable. We'll be visiting this little gem time and time again. Thank you!!

Lovely food, and the service really makes the place stand out. The staff are all brilliant, really friendly and helpful and proactive. One guy overheard my friend just mention to me that his drink was a bit flat as he walked past, and he came over and changed it (it was the end of the barrel, not their fault at all). Definitely recommend.

Takeaway 45 mins late and cold, out for delivery a long time so presume Ruddington deliveries first but cold and late by the time it reaches Wilford ☹️ shame

First time trying Three Spices & we left telling everyone we knew about it! Tried out the Tuesday Banquet and it was brilliant. All food was incredible and really nicely presented I wondered if it would be smaller portions with it being a deal but this was not the case at all. I would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely the best Indian cuisine in the whole of Nottingham

Ordered food over 2 hours ago and had to call twice to chase as slow delivery. Really annoyed as family meal which cost over £75 for 5 people and a takeaway. Needs to improve. Still waiting 2 hours and 40 minutes on.

Excellent food at an excellent price service great nice to have a bit of a laugh with the staff I ordered a tikka curry and the chef gave me a free curry without asking because he gave me plain chicken 4 starter 4 curries 2 rice 2 nan pickle tray 2 beers 3 cokes £112 great value for money loads of meat in the curries nice to wait for your food you know that it's cooked fresh

Really great service and lovely food. Macy was serving us and she was very attentive and took great care of us ad did the gents. Food was lovely as always. Lamb chops starter were gorgeous and so was the naga lamb. Thanks guys for very good night

Well, what can I say, the portion sizes are generous, the food quality superb, the service amazing. All of this is true, but it does not seem enough, I feel I should convey more, mention the atmosphere, I should mention the value for money. Still that does not cover it, so to make it easy, I will say, I have been, I will go again, I will say I recommend it and I will say try it for yourselves.

OMG, what a meal. Everything I ordered was absolutely lovely, nice, hot and tasty. The stuffed pepper starter was fab, mains Lamb tikka dansak WITH SIDES, wonderful. The staff were brilliant and the chef was amazing. My server's wete "Frank", Maj, Maz and Macy. They were all really nice people. If you haven't tried it, do so, as you may just enjoy it, I DID.

Used to get some poppadoms whilst you wait for your main, not any more. Get the feeling of wanting you in and out, Dakha Dehli better experience

The reviews really make you think this place is going to be amazing… it’s not. The curries were far from authentic - I had a garlic chilli chicken which was red, the onions in it were half raw, and the garlic was pan fried, burnt, and just sprinkled on top! Tasted nothing like a garlic chilli chicken. We also had a Rogan Josh which was bland and almost tasted like a pizza sauce. Chips were soggy, naan bread was plain and dry. Would not recommend if you like a good Indian.
