El equipo de cocina de canela fue fantástico en la organización de una cena de menú fijo para 13 personas en su entresuelo. Teníamos algunos platos fantásticos un montón de comida de tantos sabores diferentes y el servicio era maravilloso. Nos encantó el pan y los chapuzones que el equipo no pudo obtener suficiente y seguimos pidiendo más! Recomendaría encarecidamente este lugar y su entrepiso con el menú establecido para cualquier persona con un grupo mayor de seis personas. I always enjoy visiting this restaurant, set in the arches. Great architecture and atmosphere. The food is always amazing. We had the bottomless brunch this time which is a taster menu. Every dish was delicious. Staff were lovely. This isn’t your classic high street Indian which might be why some people don’t enjoy their visit. It offers so much more though. Wonderful flavours.

So the wife and I seceded to come here for Valentienes. They had a special menu on with. Ice choices and a “glass of champagne upon arrival”. Set in the arches by Battersea Power Station - it is a lovely restaurant with an open kitchen Staff, as you’d expect, were friendly and helpful. The first we noticed was how packed it was. There were loads of tables crammed in, the tables so small we struggled to get two plates and two glasses on. Customers to staff ratio was all wrong. The chap serving us was frazzled. He kept a smile on his face, but we had to ask for our glass of champagne 4 times. It eventually came just before the mains came out! People around us were getting restless and I guess that rubbed off on us as well. £75 per person with a glass of fizz, didn’t seem a bad price. A little heart shaped lentil dumpling to share - very nice. Followed by three mini appetisers to share - lamb escalop (3 tiny cubes of lamb tender and lovely) 4 pieces of chicken tikka breast (quite dry) and a small fish cake. A little bit of sauce, I mean a little bit! About a teaspoon of each. Really nice and tasty, but just not enough. Choices of mains and deserts. My wife had seared saddle of lamb, with lamb keema saag, rogan josh sauce and rice. In trush is seemed way too small, tiny amount of rice, barely any sauce and 4 very small slices of lamb. But perfectly cooked, really tender I had grilled king prawns with seafood makhani sauce and ghee rice. Prawns were a nice size but over cooked I’m afraid. Sauce was lovely but not enough and tiny amount of rice again. However, I said it seemed very small, but it was actually the right size! Any more and we would have struggled to finish it. We eventually, as we were finishing mains, managed to order a couple of cocktails. Well, that’s what they were called… sorry Cinnamon Kitchen, as an ex bartender and someone who loves to try cocktails whenever we go out, they were terrible! No colour, no straw… not even a garnish! We asked for our deserts and the bill at the same time as otherwise we knew we’d be in for a long wait. Again! Long and short of it - lovely restaurant, food with the potential to be amazing, great staff but way way over worked. My wife and I said we probably wouldn’t go back, but then decided, actually we would like to go back on a normal evening to see what it is really like. Because today was definitely not a reflection of what it should be. Could be. Everything, the finer details that set a good restaurant aside from an excellent restaurant, was missed tonight. Such a shame. But don’t be put off by this review because we’re not - we’re going to go back and see what it’s really like. I think on a normal night this place could be amazing!

It was our first ever visit. We all enjoyed our meals as they were beautifully presented, seasoned and absolutely delicious. The decor was simple and festive which added to the inviting nature of the location.

This is the worst Indian restaurant I've ever been to, which is incredible for a City renowned for its Indian food. Plating of the food is frankly bizarre and many of the dishes were either raw or cold. The server could not care less and never refilled out our drinks or addressed any of our complaints. The portions are absolutely tiny and don't justify such high prices. I would never ever ever come back here

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint following a deeply disappointing experience at your restaurant on 7/12/24. I regret to inform you that both the service and the quality of food were far below acceptable standards, and I feel compelled to share the details of my experience. Firstly, we were left waiting for 30 minutes before our starters arrived, with no one coming to check on us during that time. It seemed as though our section was completely ignored, which is unacceptable, particularly during a quiet period. When the starters eventually arrived, I ordered hummus for my main, expecting it to come with the usual accompaniments of bread or crudites. Instead, I received a basic pot of hummus with no sides. I had specifically requested bread with it, yet it didn’t arrive until after the mains had been served, and by then, everyone else had already finished eating. There was no apology for the delay, and the hummus itself was tasteless and unappetizing. The main course was equally disappointing. My mum’s curry arrived stone cold. After sending it back, it was returned clearly reheated in a microwave, as evidenced by the visible layer on top of the food. To make matters worse, the curry was far too spicy, with no indication on the menu of its heat level. When we asked if it could be made less spicy, the waiter made an inappropriate and racist comment, stating, "You Europeans..." This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional, and I was shocked that it occurred in any setting, let alone in a reputable restaurant. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I know this type of comment would result in immediate dismissal, and I am appalled that such behavior was tolerated by your staff. Throughout the meal, there was no check-back, no refills on drinks, and no offer of dessert or any attempt to make us feel welcome or valued as customers. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing, and I feel it was a complete waste of time and money. I would strongly advise you to review both the quality of service and the behavior of your staff. Based on this visit, I cannot recommend Cinnamon Kitchen to anyone. I look forward to your response regarding this matter.

We dined here as part of a package with the lift 109 experience at Battersea. The restaurant is short five minute walk from the lift 109 experience, and is situated under the railway arches. We had the three course set menu with Prosecco which was really lovely. The service throughout the meal was very good, and would recommend the restaurant.

An outstanding experience of the best flavours and fabulous menu we chose to visit after seeing an old celebrity Masterchef episode the food look amazing on that and it did not disappoint. Cannot wait to try it again.

As the restaurant was almost empty. Maybe 8 tables occupied I presumed my food would would be freshly cooked but was disappointed that my main course was burnt on the top and cold in the middle meaning it was heated under a salamander Prawns that are reheated are rubbery Why does a dish that takes only minutes to prepare need to be reheated

Excellent, friendly service and delicious food. We were welcomed with a smile and given a great table with space for our dog to lie down undisturbed. There was a DJ playing at Sat lunchtime and he picked just the right tunes and volume to create a buzzy atmosphere but still be able to hear each other talk. We shared a range of mixed grill, sea bass, dahl and chickpea dishes, each of which was very tasty. Lots of sauces with deep, multilayered flavours, and generous portions. Good mocktails available to accompany our food. Many thanks.

What a remarkable place! We went as a family of six for a birthday celebration. Great atmosphere; busy, but peaceful and businesslike. Exceptionally good service from several attentive, friendly and very helpful staff. Excellent food, and very reasonable prices. Overall, great value for money. Could not have chosen a better venue for our family event. Very enjoyable evening!

Went her with a friend on a Saturday lunch time. Excellent location lovely staff superb food. Shame it was slightly spoilt by a DJ playing terrible loud music. Guests do not want to hear this when trying to talk to friends. You do not need the music everything is perfect. Thanks

One of the best curries we have ever had, beautifully presented, so tasty and plenty of it. Brilliant location and lovely atmosphere.

We had a three course set menu at the Cinnamon Kitchen. The starters were enjoyable but slightly too spicy. I had the Lamb Biryani for the main which was enjoyable but a little sour for me. I needed some sort of sweet chutney to balance the flavours but the restaurant did not serve chutney with their dishes. The dessert of Garam Masala Sticky Toffee pudding was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

I am usually very suspicious about Indian food in restaurants in the UK, since 90% of them basically just serve takeaway standard food at inflated prices. Each of the 4 dishes we had was superb - brilliantly spiced (just correct, not an orgy of chillies, food colouring and oil) and decent sized potions.

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff who like to have a chat. We had the prawn cocktail and salmon to start. The salmon was a taste explosion! The main courses were delicious too and i enjoyed the play on the korma. The indian spice sticky toffee pudding really made the traditional dessert something special and the chocolate mousse was nice and thick. We really enjoyed our meal!

A step up in quality compared to your average local Indian but still a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Quite a short menu but still a good range so should suit most tastes. Quality was very good and service above average (thanks to Kalyan in particular). We would definitely return.

Visited this Battersea power station restaurant after a wait of 3 years to use a 3 course voucher given as a gift pre covid. It was well worth the wait. A choice of three in each course and a cocktail to start us off. Food was exceptional, well presented and absolutely delicious. Our waiter Novin was very pleasant &helpful with our choices. We had a lovely lunch and would definitely return . Highly recommend.

We had lunch after visiting lift 109 at the Battersea power station. The restaurant is located under the railway arches which it makes quite unusual and interesting, inside it is nicely furnished and clean. The service was very attentive, the food was delicious served in generous portions. We loved it and I definitely recommend it.

The food here is outstanding. We had the samosa chaat, lamb biryani and garam masala sticky toffee pudding. All were delicious. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and service was great. Can't wait for our next visit.

A very disappointing lunch. Travelled all the way from Surrey to have lunch served cold! The starter and mains arrived together and all were luke warm! The chilli paneer dish is a copy of the bang bang cauliflower at Wagamama! It doesn’t work when paneer is fried leaving it tough and rubbery especially when served cold! The house daal flavourless and could have been from a supermarket ready meal! Just awful. The plain Mann arrived exactly as that not even buttered! Seriously just awful. No common sense here to show that there is a gap between courses. A restaurant has one job! They failed miserably! Unless you like cold food avoid this place and spend your money at Dishoom. Queues around the block for a reason,

This was a great find for lunch whilst at Battersea Power Station. Great service (Al Novin) and the food was fantastic. We'd recommend the Bhel Papdi, both Cauliflower and the Chicken Tikka Paratha's with the accompanying chutneys.

We had the nine-course sharing menu. It was excellent and also great value. They had to make changes to three of the dishes due to our eating preferences/allergies, and nothing was too much trouble for Anise and the rest of the team. We'll be back.

I have wanted to go to this restaurant for such a long time and am so disappointed! I visited with a friend I chose the Paneer to start which was lovely and my friend chose the Shrimp cocktail which looked and according to my friend tasted like any other cocktail and nothing special about it, shame. We both chose a curry I had butter chicken and lamb curry both were very rich in flavour and a bit sickly to be honest. We went the whole hog and had a pudding each we decided to have Kulfi which was frozen solid and couldn’t even get the spoon through it, it was very flavourless and crystallised. I judge a lot of places on the cleanliness of the toilets and they weren’t that clean either. All in all very disappointed and won’t be visiting again. Can get better elsewhere, shame, you need to up your game Cinnamon Kitchen.

I have eaten here several times since it opened and it has never failed to be anything other than excellent. Today however I was treated to the 9 course tasting menu which was just awesome. As always the staff were welcoming and friendly.

Limited vegetarian options on a very small menu! Food was very good however but a little too spicy 🌶️ even for an Asian pallet. The samosa chaat was over spiced so ruined the enjoyment a little. But overall delicious food and great service. Very noisy restaurant.

Visited on a weekday evening in January so the restaurant was pretty quiet. nonetheless we had a fantastic evening with excellent food and great service. We based our meal around their set menu and it all worked out extremely well, with the bill not too hefty at all. Definitely recommended.

Excellent venue for lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming and offered good advice on the amount of food to order. The menu is not huge, but caters for all tastes, including the vegetarian in our group. The food was delicious, particularly the samosas, lamb curry and side dishes of vegetables. The food arrived promptly and was perfectly cooked and presented.. The decor and atmosphere is chic and relaxed and the other diners al seemed to be enjoying themselves. The tables are nicely spaced so you are not on top of the other diners. Reasonably priced for the location and we will certainly visit again.

Cinnamon Kitchen doesn’t disappoint. Amazing flavours that will get your taste buds dancing. We ordered a main each and shared the dishes with side orders, so we all got to try a bit of everything.

First visit and had an excellent experience. Some interesting dishes on the menu that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Had the sweet potato cakes and the mixed grill. I expected the lamb to be either chewy or slow cooked but it was very tender and still pink in the middle. Excellent service to match despite being busy. More than I’d pay at a local Indian restaurant and the wine is quite expensive (£30+) but I’d recommend. Two starters, two main courses, rice and roti shared plus a bottle of wine £93. In general the power station area is expensive.
