The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Fantastic quality and brilliant service. I am stopping in Stonehouse for a few weeks and I really wanted a nice curry. I see the place by luck really and went in - some gorgeous authentic dishes with Murg Jal being my dishes - a slightly warm strength with an amazing sourness with a very fresh pillau price all for a tenner! I really would urge anyone try it

Normally use Voujon for takeaways but we decided to sit in for a change. Lots of space inside and a couple of nooks for those seeking some privacy. It was quiet on the night we went but it can get busy so consider booking a table if you are planning to visit. Food is lovely and tasty and this is one of the better Indian restaurants in the town - we are yet to have anything that wasn't delicious and hot. We will definitely use Voujon again (for takeaways) and we will certainly sit in again in the future.

The food was amazing nice authentic flavors of south Indian. Service is taking a bit more than usual. The atmosphere is ok , it needs to be upgraded to a bit nicer than the present I think.

A little dual to be found in Mount Sorrel, our first time there and from start to finish it was first class, service, food and atmosphere we’ll definitely be going back.

We were a group of 7 and all ordered different mains and various side. All food served was very nice indeed, Will definitely be going back.

I have ordered many times before, however today I had a terrible experience with my food delivery. The roti was torn into pieces, and the gravy had a strong fish oil smell even though I ordered a vegetarian meal. The food was also spilled in the packaging, and I had to bin the gravy straightaway due to the foul smell. Extremely disappointed with the quality and care put into this order. Sorry, I will never order again.

fantastic food but forgot my extra sauces .

We got a take away for the family and the food was just as delicious at home as it is in the restaurant. The amazing flavours never cease to please and the restaurant threw in a couple of extra samosas to try. A firm favourite is the mixed grill! The best grill I’ve had outside of Pakistan. I cannot recommend Khas enough!

Great atmosphere for a party night out.

Only had a few starter bits and they were horrible Keema rice was dripping with oil/grease and made us feel sick Both naan breads had no flavour at all and we're very doughy The cheese naan bread didn't have any cheese at all on the one side The mint and chutney sauce were too sweet The only thing decent was the kebab meat and even that was just ok Worst Indian food I've ever had

The food was very nice, but instead of the lamb chilli masala, another chicken dish was delivered

Food was delivered cold unfortunately. As regular customers we found this meal not the best we’ve ever had.
