Fantastic quality and brilliant service. I am stopping in Stonehouse for a few weeks and I really wanted a nice curry. I see the place by luck really and went in - some gorgeous authentic dishes with Murg Jal being my dishes - a slightly warm strength with an amazing sourness with a very fresh pillau price all for a tenner! I really would urge anyone try it

By far the best Indian food in the region and I cannot rate this food enough. Also, the family who run this business are such professional and lovely people.

Great portion sizes and tasty food. Tikka burger maybe had too many onions for it but everything was fresh and tasty. Lovely service. Just be wary that everything is cooked fresh so there is some waiting. No seating - only takeout.

When you phone through your order, they are so polite and friendly and our takeaway is ready in 30 mins... We usually have seven or eight curries to freeze due to living in North Somerset.... Our Favorites are the Chicken Jalfrezi - always large tender pieces of chicken breast in a wonderful sauce, and the Garlic Chilli Chicken -wonderful.... The flavours are just fantastic, and we have NEVER been disappointed... We cannot find fault with this takeaway, and have never found one to beat it wherever we have lived... Thank goodness for family visits to Gloucestershire which we can combine with our beloved Curry pickup - but not on a Tuesday when they are closed....

Phone up Tudor Tandoori at 5pm on the dot.... waited a few minutes then Bingo!! got through!! Ordered our food - speaking to a lovely guy on the other end, nice attitude, and very helpful (as always) ! Got told the total of the order and given time (30 mins) to pick food up. Due to Covid - there was standing only ..... a couple of people in front of me.... all went out happy with their lovely smelling food! My turn came, gave my name, order was ready right on time, paid and came away ...... VERY HAPPY ! Food was delicious :) I definitely recommend Tudor Tandoori for an Indian takeaway - Best one locally IMO !!

Absolutely fantastic. These guys deliver an exceptional number of items on their menu, street like Indian food as well as classics. Wow, it’s remarkable what they’ve done to the place from previous owners been a while since we ordered, the new logo and posters give it a whole new look. Really like the logo, the little man on there looks quite cool. They have items like loaded naan and now a loaded burger! King Burger I think it’s called with the chicken pieces, apologies the Mrs ordered! Being generous is an understatement, they packed the burger we ordered with plenty of chicken tikka pieces and when we saw the picture of the burger we knew this would deliver. Ordered regular fries with a cheeky Coke Zero. Went to collect as they don’t offer delivery service but well worth it, nice little drive there popped into co-op after for a few bits. I’m not one to write reviews, being stuck indoors has made me a food critic haha but well done lads - smashed it! Enjoyed my meal, amazing deal too. Go try it out, I’d defo recommend it. Even the Mrs gives it a thumbs up and she doesn’t like burgers unless it’s mcds. Our dog Boris enjoyed a few pieces of tikka too. Might have to order one for him next time haha.

Amazing as ever.... as we now live in North Somerset a trip to Gloucestershire to see family and friends always finishes with a trip to this takeaway, where we buy four or five of the Fantastic Jalfrezi Curries ( one to eat and the others freeze really well) They are lovely large portions so one between two plus naan and rice are more than enough for us.. I was sorry to read a few negative reviews as we have been coming here for years from when we lived in Gloucestershire, Cornwall and now North Somerset and have always had the perfect takeaway...I can honestly say that in my Opinion this is the best Indian Takeaway that I have ever been to .....

Having seen the new Tikka King Burger Meal on the website, thought I'd give it a whirl. The advert states a toasted bun, large fries (topping upgrades if desired) and a drink of choice. I don't like to leave negative reviews, especially on independent establishments such as this one, but the bun was soggy and stale, the portion of chips was small, and to top it all off, the chips were barely warm. I did pop them in the microwave for a quick burst, but they ultimately went in the bin. Really disappointed on this occasion. Whether they were just having an off day, or the burger meal just isn't all it's cracked up to be I don't know, but I don't see myself rushing back anytime soon. 😞

I really enjoyed the tikka king burger the new addition to their menu, I like that this take away isn’t like your average Indian take away it’s more Indian street food and doesn’t live me feeling bloated or that I’ve eaten too much. Will definitely be ready and looking forward to trying out the loaded naan this time

This particular Indian take away was quiet aesthetically pleasing for me, the menu is so unique and I genuinely felt like the manager cared about the type of food his take away was serving. When I placed my order I found that it was really quick and easy. Literally took seconds! My food was made super quick as well. Amazing service from the waiter, really great person. Thank you Tudor I will be back for more garlic cheese fries 😋

No set menu and unusual menu layout and items, which could be a good point. Food was ready in about 25 mins after order on phone and takaway seemed busy (as it should be at 6:30pm on a Saturday) Food was tasty but starters and mains were very oily and greasy. Curries were large - consider sharinging one between two if you have Naan and.Rice also. No Popadoms seemed to be available. What salad there was, was brown and old. We had to go to supermarket next door to get better leaves. Generally although food was tasty, we would not go to this takeaway again, the food was just too greasy. I tipped a full mug of oil from two portions of curry. (not including that which had tipped into the carrier bag before we got back to our hotel.)

Probably the best takeaway I have had of any world cuisine, and not just in Gloucestershire but other counties too! Recommended by friends and will definitely be going back, over ordered the first time as portions are massive and very filling, the mixed tikka naan is a meal in itself.

La próxima vez que visitemos Gloucestershire sin duda compraremos una comida para llevar o dos o tres, ya que es simplemente la mejor. . . . Decidimos que era una noche fría y miserable, así que no queríamos salir, así que teníamos una comida para llevar. Llamé a las 5. 5 pm y la espera fue de 40 minutos, pero definitivamente vale la pena esperar, la comida es fantástica y por 20 para dos platos principales y dos guarniciones, creo que esto es muy razonable.Hemos estado usando esta comida para llevar india durante muchos años, pero nunca la había visto tan ocupada como el sábado por la noche, creo que todos tenían la misma idea que nosotros, pruébalo, no te decepcionará.

We have just taken the last delicious mouthful of our curry from this establishment. We are both close to weeping. To say that I’m overwhelmed by this culinary experience would be a MAJOR understatement. I live by Brick Lane in London’s Indian quarter and have tried every local curry house over the last ten years. This place is better. For god’s sake order the bhaji. Thank you, Tudor Tandoori. Had takeaway twice from here- all dishes have been delicious. Great amount of meat and not too oily so you don't feel over full by the end. Polite and friendly service and the loaded naan is a meal in itself! Very reasonably priced as well.

No es mi primera visita, pero no he tenido una comida para llevar desde aquí en mucho tiempo, y sigue siendo buena. La comida parece fresca y llena de sabor.A diferencia de muchas otras comidas para llevar, también es bastante simple en términos de opciones de menú. A veces encuentro demasiada conflictividad al elegir una comida de un menú con cientos de platos diferentes. No se puede superar la simplicidad, y este lugar lo hace bien. Todavía hay una cantidad suficiente para elegir, pero no excesiva.La forma de teléfono y el manierismo general de recogida era claro y amistoso también.

We ordered the loaded naan which was a hit all around, but we also ordered butter chicken which was loaded with so much coconut that we weren't able to eat it. The rice was also soggy. We won't be returning :[

Hemos estado utilizando el TTK durante años. La mayoría de los fines de semana también. Nunca hemos tenido un curry de menos de la punta de aquí. Pasamos por nuestro local de comida para ir aquí. Si tienes que esperar, vale la pena esperar. La comida es muy sabrosa y siempre cocinada a la perfección.

A great finish to a brilliant weekend, a brilliant weekend away for a family wedding. We had a birthday so 4 of us went to this restaurant on a Sunday night and it was lovely.

We are super-picky and hard to please, but this place wins hands-down for the Stroud area. Tasty, clearly homemade (even the naan) and packed full of quality ingredients- no fishing around in the sauce to find a couple of chunks of chicken or lamb here!

The food was great, the only thing I that would put me off ordering again is how long in took to get here.

rang to check open on bank holiday Monday collection available in 30 minutes BIG JOKE went ordered at 5.30pm left the tiny pokey take away at 6.30pm that is not good service got home lamb madras was lamb stew watery and far to much ghee prawns were I think cooked in a lot of coconut and sugar far to sweet someone reviewed they did 16 mile round trip as it was so good we live 10 minute round trip AVOID ITS CRAP AND THE WORST INDIAN FOR MILES

Very disappointed with tonight’s take away. We order regularly and even are prepared to wait the usual, long two hour wait because other restaurants who deliver in Stroud are not very good. But tonight I ordered a vegetable madras and instead got a vegetable masala with a few slim green chillis chucked in to try and pass it off as a madras and with the horrid bright red, artificial, sweet sauce that is the hallmark of a bad curry. Sorry, my search for a decent local Indian take away now has to re commence.

Delivery of 90 minutes for a 4 mile journey is a little too long. Food was seemed like it was rushed together. Very little flavour in pretty much anything. What a shame. I do have to say though, the delivery driver was incredibly pleasant and polite.

I received a meal labelled chicken tikka balti but had the wrong meal in containing lamb and prawns. Had to wait longer for replacement after already waiting an hour and a half for delivery of the wrong food so whole experience was not good

They got a few things wrong and you have to order popadoms individually which is a joke apart from that the food was good but hard to tell the difference between currys and was quite greasy /oily

I had the chicken tikka passanda, and if you're a fan of a mild creamy taste that doesn't become to sickly then this is the one. absolutely beautiful and the chicken quality was top notch!!

Food tasted great as per usual and food was delivered on time, but in one of our curries we found a piece of metal that looked like the flat head of a pin. Luckily we spotted it instead of choking on it. Still best curry in the area but this wasn't exactly one to put in the good books

Umm okay, that's all I can say really. Pop's were good, Nan breads were slightly underdone and could have done with a little longer in the oven, the curries were pretty bland and pretty greasy.

Just collected my order and it was a real disappointment, the chicken was SO over cooked and dry and kind of stuck in my throat! The tikka masala was tasteless and exactly the same as the korma but with a red food colouring, all three curries tasted of nothing - nann bread and poppadom was the only good thing however they forgot the mango chutney! Never again!

He comido desde la cocina Tudor Tandoori varias veces y nunca me ha decepcionado con la calidad. La calidad y el sabor de la comida es buena a buena. La última dhansak tuve era especialmente bueno. Esto no compensa el servicio de reuniones, aunque no las expectativas.

Food was very greasy and pretty tasteless. Worst curry I think I've ever had. Did arrive 45 mins before they said, but then they did say it would be 90 mins for delivery which is ridiculous!

unfortunately the quality of the food is sub standard. the chicken was very dry, the Sag aloo had no taste, the nan was very doughy. on the positive side, the service was heplful andfriendly, the rice was ok and it was cheap.I guess to be cheap you must have to use cheap products so we wont be beating a path back here again any time soon

Absolutely disgusted! Ordered through Just Eat at 18.45, the ETA itself was an extortionate wait of 1 hour 45 minutes (which would have made it 20.30) , then it got delayed for a further 10 minutes (20.40) and it didn't actually arrive until 9pm! The delivery guy seemed to have WALKED to our home, which is a good 20 minute walk from Tudor Tandori Kitchen, the food was cold and when I called, they offered me a discount off my next order. I think not! I advised I would not be ordering from them again so the manager was put on the phone and he advised, very rudely, that usually they would only offer a 10-15% discount, but for me they would offer a 20% refund of my order. I showed great dissatisfaction at this offer and the manager didn't seem to give two hoots. My advise? Don't bother! Order from The Gate of India instead.

Pedimos una comida para dos con extras y cotizado una hora a una hora y media para la entrega. 2 horas y 10 minutos después de una comida casi frío llegamos. El sag paneer es hecho con queso cheddar, no es el típico que fue una verdadera decepción. Arroz estaba poco hecha. Una lástima el mal servicio. Creo que los sabores comida hubiese sido linda llegó a un buen tiempo. Pregunte a su conductor para usar mapas de Google si no encontrar su camino alrededor. Es gratis y puede salvar a más personas tener curris piedra fría stonehouse...

Waited two hours but food was ok

Reservamos por teléfono mientras viajar desde Manchester, un lugar famoso por su curry mile. Nos dijeron que la orden de inmediato tomaría una hora, que nos permitió planear alrededor de colección.

Usually a great meal - but in this case the Keema naan seemed to be filled with a simple lamb mince filling without any spices at all leaving it quite bland. Will go back as 9 times out of 10 its a great meal!

El Tudor es una familia encantadora para llevar a correr. Siempre garneteed comida de la mejor calidad en su absoluta más frescos. El viernes por la noche se puede esperar de 30 a 45 minutos de espera pero me alegraría esperar más tiempo ya que siempre vale la pena. El Tikka Naan es bar lejos una de las mejores cosas que he comido. Llena de magníficos trozos de pollo tikka, ensalada fresca y menta yogur. Las patatas fritas son siempre un gran tikka elección y una comida en su propio derecho! El ajo delicia tikka es sin duda el mejor curry que he comido! Me encanta el Tudor y comer allí más que mi cintura me gustaría, pero es demasiado bueno y sólo se vive una vez!!!

Tuvimos una cena maravillosa relación 2 hace unos días no tenía uno desde allí por un tiempo, pero me sorprendió gratamente como el favor era increíble y el trozos de carne eran enormes.
