The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

We ordered takeaway from here after having a leaflet left at our flat. The food was nothing special, but it’s reasonably priced, especially since they deliver for free after you spend not too much.

Beautiful as always. Nice and hot.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The food is divine and beautifully presented! Will definitely visit with my colleagues next time .

WOW! 🤩 This place is amazing! Lovely restaurant, lovely attentive staff and amazing food! It’s a dining adventure! My wife is coeliac and they cooked GF dishes separately and she loved being able to eat out with peace of mind. The rest of us shared our dishes and loved every single one! The only slightly negative thing I can say is, the swing seats could do with a cushion. Re-visited, have to say, it’s an amazing culinary journey every time. You order and share so many dishes with differing flavours.

First time eating in this restaurant after reading the reviews ( had to check was right restaurant as there's another close by) Starters Lamb chops - best chops we ever had All of our food was so very tasty ( I did mention I would have tried the massala but was sharing a main ,they bought a taster bowl out on the house ,will definitely be having this dish next time as we will be returning with friends to try. All staff very polite & friendly . Highly reccomend an extremely pleasant evening with great food , Thank you.

My first experience of this restaurant although I’ve heard great things from a friend who lives locally. On this occasion we had a takeaway. My chicken tikka Marsala was delicious and I enjoyed the poppadoms with pickle pots - a first for me. I hope to return when next visiting Dorchester and have a full restaurant meal.

The only thing that lets Balti Palace down is the messy foil trays. They’re always covered in curry, as is the bag, which makes for a messy kitchen and stained worktops. Just need to take more care with packaging and delivery

The blue Lagoon was friendly,very welcoming and provided an excellent meal. The wine list was sensible and had a good selection of acceptable wines

We love this place.... Best takeaway in Burntwood... Esp on Wednesday when they do Any starter, main and Naan for £11.95!!!!! And a Monday,But even without the offer, would still eat here.... As so reasonable Love going into the restaurant also... Food is consistently tasty and staff are great esp Aka!!!!!!!!!!😊 Been using this Indian for at least 15years. Poor service manager doesnt know what he is doing poorly ran. I feel sorry fornthe waiting staff as the get left to deal with complaints while managers and owners hide away.

Firstly we had arranged to go to my brothers for an Indian ( ideally would have went out for one) however with small children we decided to just stay in. I suggested we tried this place as it was only down the road and was probably going to be nicer than your standard Indian takeaway. We get no signal in the house what so ever so I had to go up the street to phone them to make an order the lady on the phone said to me the compute system is down I’m going to write your order down is that okay I said yes then it appears she walked off and just forgot about me as I could hear the restaurant and everyone placing orders for the next 10 minutes so I cut it off. We thought it’s down the road we will just drive down and order and wait. So my partners gone in to order came back out ro the car we probably sat for 20 minutes and I said to him you should go back in now..I sat over 50 minutes with a screaming child in the car ( phone dead). This sort of time is not acceptable. We are talking nearly 8 o clock now so I’ve gone in to see what’s going on and it looks like there is no organisation what so ever! Asked the lady where the food was and she found it just sat on the side. Why would you expand your businesw to just eat/ Uber eats if the customer service is going to end up like this. The food was ok::: tbh we had gone past it and it had ruined the night. not worth £60 not really that special so this will be the first and last time il be visiting the place absolutely shocking

Food is fine but arrived stone cold via Uber but with a restaurant driver. 2 hours is far too long to wait for food tbh
