Couple of lethal madras’s were delivered, think they had some sour notes in but ultimately were vindaloo+ and just too over the top and unbalanced in favour. Naans and aloo gobi excellent, but the mains were too over the top and unbalanced which very much detracted from the overall dinner.

Not much flavour at all, think the chef forgot to put any herbs and spices in at all, very bland and tasteless.

Food quality poor overall. The Garlic Nan & Shami kebab were tasty, but then chicken Pasanda was inedible, it was too hard/solid to eat, just like a rubber/eraser. We waited 42 minutes between starter and main. Also, following a telephone order for collection the previous week, they forgot to pack my main course. When I rang to complain, they argued that they hadn’t. So I thought I’d return and ask for a refund. I didn’t bother because I just wanted to pay and get out of there.

Vegetarians dont eat chicken curry ,they do not order chicken curry and they do not pay for chicken curry.. so why did i get chicken curry !! why was i charged for chicken curry ! and why after changing it was i told vegetable curry was the same price as chicken curry when it clearly was not!! i ask the boss for the menu to prove vegetable curry was cheaper..but was refused the menu.yep they actually refused to show me the menu .Eventually they sent Sanjay to apologise...food was frozen processed cheapo Costco type bargain bags with a Homebargins type sauce ..the bill took longer to receive than the food..read the other reviews...stay away...for drunk aggressive local fools only.

Visited many times and received excellent food and very good service. The Viceroy food is delicious, I particularly like the salmon my husband chooses a spicy curry. Whatever we choose it’s very tasty. The staff are friendly and welcoming and we’ve never had slow service. Highly recommend.

The Korma was extremely runny but tasty. Ordered vegetable samosa and got meat ones had to swap some food around with people. Was all nice just need to pay attention to detail and sort out the korma never in my life seen one like water.

Absolutely fantastic meal from the Viceroy team. Never been disappointed. Loved the fluffy nan and it was large. The chicken tikka was mouth watering and fresh with the lovely complimentary Mint and beautiful crunchy green salad. I would highly recommend and will be back for more soon.

Not sure whether Viceroy of India have a new food supplier or chef, but our latest takeaway fell far short of the very high standards we have come to expect from them. Though some of the order was good, there was definitely something very unusual and rather unpleasant about the mushroom rice. This knocked our confidence in the food, which is a shame. Maybe this is a blip, but we will still give it a miss for a while.

As usual a first class meal, there is never any bad meal from here, my personal favourite is balti chicken jalfrazie first class,

A group of us have a curry night once a month and we visited the Viceroy about a year ago. At that time the food was average but the service was good. So we decided to give it another try. BIG mistake! I cannot comment on the food, as we didn't get any but the service was appalling. We arrived dead on time and ordered drinks. It took 15 minutes for those to arrive. We kept asking to order but it was exactly one hour before our order was taken We sat for another 45- 50 minutes waiting for our starters, but still no food. We watched others who arrived after us enjoy their starters and at that point the fuse blew and we all walked out. Ravenously hungry I went home to an out of date pizza! Wasted fuel and a wasted evening. Never again.

Pre ordered a delivery at 3.30pm for 6pm. Now 6.45pm and no sign of any food. £5 delivery charge applied. Finally got through to the restaurant after phone continually engaged to be told it was out for delivery. Told if hadn’t arrived in 10 mins to call them back and that if I ever ordered again on line that they would make sure my order would get preferential treatment. What a bunch of wasters. Don’t bother with these cowboys cos they sure ain’t Indians!

Food was nice as always and the service from the restaurant was brilliant. I did call the restaurant as our order was slightly late (understandable for Boxing day) but they were very apologetic and our food arrived shortly after.

Absolutely love these guys. Order delivered inside 30 minutes. The Chicken Tikka masala was delicious. Creamy in a thick sauce. Nan bread outstanding. Soft and fluffy and large. Love the complementary papadam mint dip and salad. Would highly recommend as these guys have been around for 30 plus years thanks and I will be back before Christmas as my family are visiting soon.💯👍

Absolutely lovely food as always :) It is always hot, and obviously very freshly cooked. I absolutely love the vegetable (Sabzi) dhansak! I also had the Paneer Masala, Peshwari Naan and Peas Rice, I will have it over two or three days! One of the best places to order from in this area!

We were disappointed with both curries we ordered, one was so full of cream it made it sickly and the other was incredibly hot 🔥 much hotter than it was supposed to be. Its a shame as take aways are not cheap anymore and when you look forward to a certain meal and its not nice its so annoying.

Best quality local Indian food. You pay a little more but it’s worth it. Quality ingredients, complex spice and flavour (not just heat!) and never greasy.

Food was way too spicy. How something advertised as very mild came in spicy I will never understand. And the balti chicken jalfrezi was the hottest my grandfather had ever had. It's a shame we won't be able to order from here again

Second time we’ve ordered from here now and really enjoyed it both times. Good portions, nice flavours and still warm enough to eat without microwaving.

I have found that many of the Indian takeaways around the Bexley area to be pretty poor, but the food from here was really good, all of our dishes were flavoursome, well spiced and decent sized freshly cooked portions. Will be ordering from here again.
