as the title states this restaurant never disappoints which results in an enjoyable evening. The food is delicate and flavoursome and the staff attentive.

Had a takeaway of various dishes including some dishes we'd not tried before . South Indian beef curry, chicken satkora , butter chicken , Korma, other mains , rices , various naans etc . For 7 people. All dishes were lovely. Everyone had a bit of everything and everyone enjoyed what they ate. The 7 year old grandson gave a thumbs up for the Tikka Masala All food arrived hot and at the time we ordered it for as I'd ordered online at lunchtime to be delivered for 6pm. There were plenty leftover to be eaten the next day. Can't wait to try more dishes we've not tried before. Thanks again mustard , we will be ordering again soon

Food is ok but they sent one of the curry’s wrong, called them and they said they would send the right one, only to then get a call from them to say they can either refund us or we would now have to wait an hour for it, very disappointed. Should have ordered a Chinese.

Great delivery timing, Korma and rice were really nice - onion bhaji and naan too. Not a fan of the sauces, aloo gobi was a bit bland but the potatoes and cauliflower were cooked just right - would order again

Ordered this just after 6pm. Still no order at 7.45, called the restaurant said was on its way. 8pm still no order, called again said it was on way. 8.10 still order same response so told them to stick it so I’ll be expecting a refund

Very nice overall, rice was light n fluffy, lamb korma was delicious, and potatoes were cooked perfectly, not hard like some places do. Only slight negative was that the stuffed paratha was not stuffed.

Not worth £50! Chicken was very tough and dry. No mint sauce provided with the mixed starter, which was a bit mean. Not what it used to be. Shame.

The delivery driver was very rude.

You will receive the upmost attentive reception and the staff will accommodate dishes to your desire. As with all Indian restaurants the staff ensure your delights at your pleasure but Mustard goes beyond this service and provide a family atmosphere. You will instantly feel at home and comfortable when dining in! Bring children too, they are welcomed with open arms. my children love this place. If it’s MUSARD or Mac Donald’s this place wins every time. I would recommend this pleasing and accommodating restaurant above all others in hornchurch. I praise the food! Which is rare for me as my expectations are set to a very high standard and therefore MUSTARD is my personal favorite. You will not be disappointed. Food came on time but it wasn't to my standards when I've been ordering from the same place for such a long time. It is disappointing but hopefully they improve.

Decided to give Mustard Indian Kitchen a try as we had not used the taste card for a while. Booked over the phone the previous evening which was nice and easy. Very nice welcome on arrival and great service from the waiters who were very attentive and polite when serving and clearing the table. Cobra and Kingfisher were both lovely and cold and table was laid out immaculately. We both had a starter, these being chicken tikka and a chicken chaat which were absolutely lovely and a generous size. We both opted for the mixed shashlik, again, this was really nice along with onion bhaji and a chapatti. We finished off with a couple of coffees and biscuits. Overall a nice restaurant with tasty food and great customer service. We will return and would recommend.

ANOTHER beautiful meal here . We went last night as I'd just got back from a trip away and disnt fancy cooking and have been here a few times previously My husband has a fish dish , I had south Indian beef curry with mushroom rice and my daughter butter chicken and Keema Naan. All spectacular. My husband and I thought we'd try something different as we normally have the same thing , we were not disappointed. He said it's the best fish he'd ever eaten. I loved my dish , I took it home had it for lunch today and it still tastes great. Staff are always so very friendly. I'd highly recommend

Food was okay but we were waiting for the delivery around 1 hour 45 minutes. When food came we were already sleeping. I couldn't cancel the order as it was showing its on way and when called restaurant no one pick up because they were close. Disappointed with them this time.

This was our first time using this restaurant. The food was delicious, the meat just fell apart. We had a message that the food was on its way but shortly after we received a text message that there was a delay and was given a new delivery time of about 20mins later then planned but it arrived about 10mins after that. It was good they kept us informed. Would definitely use this restaurant again.

Everything was OK apart from there only being 3 pieces of chicken and the rest was lamb when I ordered chicken tikka masala.

Terrible food - worst Indian I’ve ever had. Food arrived cold and took over an hour to arrived Popcorn shrimp tasted like it had been warmed up again chewy and stale Never again

The food was of a poor standard, which was surprising given the reviews. The chicken bhuna was inedible, it smelt like burnt spices and burning in general. Overly oily too. The chicken in the korna was overcooked. The chicken in the mixed start was also overcooked. The onion bhaji was floury. However, the tikka biryani was tasty and the Naan breads were great. Overall just a very disappointing meal.

Food took over an hour, tikka masala was way too sweet. The Bhajis and pakora were very nice.

2.5 hours for delivery food was cold ruined our evening. Rung a few times and the person was putting down the phone mid conversation and just said we had to wait x

Food was amazing and the fact they have a 5*hygiene rating is good too! I ordered the following: Main Paneet Tikka (not starter it was a Main) - this was amazing! The size was huge and it was thick and portion amount was perfect. I loved it, not burnt and kept soft as instructed on Notes. Mushroom Rice had loads of mushrooms. Well portioned. I also ordered Tikka Biryani, chicken korma and bonbay Aloo, ordered a coke and received a 1 litre bottle I also paid for papadoms, mango chutney and mint sauce and onion, I ordered a peshawar naan and requested a small tub of cream with it. Overall Food taste was very good and knowing they have a hygiene rating of 5 made me feel safe and secure to eat the food without having to worry. Well done! Will hopefully be ordering again.

Food was cold! onion bhajis and bombay potato tasted like they were cooked the day before. Meat in the keema naan was disgusting. Complete waste of money had three mouthfuls and threw it away would never order from here again

We have been buying our Indian food from Mustard for the last 2 years as we love the food and unfortunately on our last 2 orders we have been massively let down. On our last order, we placed our usual order and waited over 2 hours. We called the restaurant to ask for an update and we’re told that it was on its way, this was 1 hour and 30 minutes into waiting. After 30 minutes more we called back and we’re told it was still on its way and that there was traffic and we would be called in 10 minutes with another update. After 20 more minutes of waiting, we called again and were speaking to a person who was aggressive and rude and completely unprovoked telling us to they have done all they can. Eventually the food did come and was warm at best. It has been a number of months since that last order and we thought we would give Mustard another chance because of how nice the food is and we can appreciate it may have been busy. We ordered our usual again and we’re once again waited for 2 hours and 20 minutes on this occasion. We called the restaurant and asked for an update and were once again told that it was on its way. We received the food 45+ minutes after the call despite reassurances that it was out for delivery. The food arrived and to our disappointment, the food was cold and we were also missing our rice and poppadoms despite paying for them. We called the restaurant and we’re able to resolve the situation with a refund (which we are yet to receive) but have been left with missing food and left hungry with no other choice but to source something else. We are so disappointed because we love the food, have ordered numerous times over the last 2 years and have also been in the restaurant with family but will now have to change our Indian of choice as it is clear that they cannot provide the basic level of service that a restaurant should offer.

Visited here with 10 work friends, we were given a friendly welcome, we each ordered 10 different mains and side dishes which all came at the same time, well done staff and chefs for a pleasant evening... Definitely going to take my there..

Food quality and taste was decent, however was luke warm on arrival at best and it felt as if not much care had been taken to packaging the items, as poppadoms were broken all in the bag and sauce from main curry had spilt also. A real shame!

Had a lovely meal with very pleasant staff, not too busy as mid week. Recommend the lamb bhindi gosht.

First time order from here, food was lovely and all hot l. Delivery took just over an hr which is standard for most good Indian take outs. Over all we really enjoyed our meal and the mint sauce was really really really nice. My only negative was my rive was slightly over spiced I found BUT that's been really picky! Will definitely be ordering again. Thankyou!

So impressed with my order tonight. We ordered very late (past 11pm) food arrived piping hot, early, tasted so fresh. Chicken was generous portion, succulent. Mint sauce for poppadom's was 10/10. Will definitely be using Mustard as a regular :)

Despite we had a King Prawn Jalfrezi missing from our order they did very well to deliver it in 10 minutes after I chased them. Luckily it didn’t ruin our meal and their food is always good.

I was disappointed to only have 3 king prawns in my rogan josh- was more like a starter but the price of a main. Enjoyed the sauce.There was very little chicken in the chicken korma (it was a tub of sauce with maybe 1 small fillet of chicken cut up that I had to search for) the biryani was very nice - not too spicy and plenty of Lamb in it. The naans were nice and we got free poppadoms. For the amount of meat in the curries it was expensive. Shame because the sauces were nice just let down by lake of meat in the curries.

Waited 1 hour 45 minutes for food to arrive Nd when it did was so cold! Just isn't acceptable really. Ryan disappointing. When called restaurant was told the driver was 10 minutes away! So how many drop offs is 1 driver doing. That really let's you down!!! Np discount offered or offer for next time luke other places. Never again

Sizeable order and was already due to wait an hour and a half for delivery which then extended out by another half an hour. Greasy food and sticky rice and not even a free poppadom in sight. Usually love the place but last couple of times has gone right down hill.

They ignore the offers and deals on their own Just Eat listing. First of all the delivery charge was double what it says on the profile, and the order is supposed to include poppadoms, salad and condiments when spending over £30. But they just dont include them. We enjoy these items to complete our meal and would have added them to our purchase had we known that they wouldnt be sent. But there was no point in doubling up on something they have stated is included. So it was very disappointing and not the entire meal we had hoped to enjoy.

Delivery was an hour and 30 mins from time of order. When I called they had no idea where it was. Arrived 15 minutes later. Was worth the wait, but surprised it took so long.

Slightly disappointed with the small amounts of meat in both dishes...no free popodums and mint sauce. It was my Birthday and to be honest we pretty much order once a week so loyal to the Restaurant and it is a shame this is not recognised. The food however was delicious as usual. Thanks

Amazing food - the best Indian in Essex!

Usually very happy but tonight’s wasn’t so great, potatoes wasn’t cooked and no extras turned up as they normally do.

Chicken in curry was too tough to eat. The entire order was cold. The naan bread was doughy as undercooked.

I'd heard this place was decent, and it certainly was, I had half tandoori chicken, pilau rice, chicken vindaloo and a naan, and every bit of it was delicious and fresh!! Highly recommend

We have just eaten here, a Groupon voucher. Hands down this is the best curry I have had for years, we are East End, so usually go local or to Brick Lane. This meal was outstanding, and I can’t wait to go back. My starter was so fresh, I have never had such a good sheek kebab and the lamb in my korma was so tender - I was not expecting it to be half as good. The staff were lovely and we will be returning very soon.

Onion barges missing from order chicken Korma delivered rather than the vegetable korma that was ordered. All in all not a great experience for me as the customer or a great reflection on the restaurant - restaurant need to pay far more attention to the details.
