Best Indian food around by a mile ! I had Chicken bhuna Mushroom rice Peshwari naan Mixed starter Onion bhaji Chicken tikka starter All absolutely amazing 👏 🙌

Had previously given a good review for eating in. However there delivery food and service is the worst I have ever recieved. 1hr45 to deliver food I called 3 times. Each time to be told driver was close. They called me immediately I ordered to check the address. We are 5 mins away Rude delivery driver when he did eventually come. Food was OK, but not worth the wait or the attitude. We will neither order a delivery or go back to eat.

ordered a takeaway from aroma tonight ,checked the reviews first and seemed ok so i placed my order. i can honestly say it was some of the worst indian food i have ever tasted, £25 including tip and i threw the lot in the bin. meat was like boot leather and food looked like an oil slick. very disappointing.

Have used Aroma for over 30 years now for takeaway. Food is always good standard and usually arrives within 20 minutes. They take Tastecard for eating in which can keep cost down.

Brilliant food and service. Ordered their Chicken Tikka Biryani, Mixed Starter and King Prawn Puri. The chicken tikka was really nice and a generous portion. The vegetable curry was flavoursome and fresh. The mixed starter was really nice. The onion bhajis were brilliant. The king prawn puri was delicious. Great portion and lovely flavour. The packaging was really good quality and the Sauces were really nice. Highly recommend. Update: ordered onion bhaji, peshari nan and butter chicken today. The onion bhaji was overcooked. The peshwari nan was really nice and plenty of stuffing. The butter chicken was ok but felt like chicken tikka was just dipped in ready made sauce. The sauce was overpowered by the coconut so was a bit of a disappointment. The king prawn puri was great as usual.

We have followed this restaurant for over 10 years and it just gets better. They have an excellent new chef and you can tell! It’s always been good but last night’s takeaway was excellent. Highly recommended.

Went here last night for a sit down. Soon as we walked in, he made us aware that they don't serve alcohol but what they lack in alcoholic beverages, they make up within good food and he wasn't wrong. We started off with some poppadoms and they had this mint sauce but with ginger & lime which was amazing & also serviced with some coconut dip too which was amazing. The food came out hot, fresh and was delicious. We hit this place on a whim & was worth it. Highly recommend.

Fantastic meal, just before we headed of to the dogs, meal was tasty and flavoursome, staff were extremely friendly, they only sevre soft drinks, but its a lovely place .

Has a take away last night and the food was excellent, good portion size and great taste

Very disappointing, Orderd Chicken biryani , no Sauce or salad deliverd. When informed to the shop , staff was saying Chicken biryani is not come up with Sauce and last time gave it , because was promotion. food is very dry and not happy !!

Disgusting food went in the bin. Slimy, oily , not fresh and tasted absolutely awful. Can’t believe I wasted my money. I mistook this place for a similar sounding restaurant that has good food. I thought they were the same on uber eats but lesson learnt.

King Prawn Sizzler…. Absolutely amazing! Only 1 member of staff, but very attentive and helpful. 1st time here, but would definitely return. Prices very competitive.

We haven’t lived in Romford for over 3 years but occasionally have our takeaway from Aroma and it is still the best. It’s worth the 20+ minute drive for their food. The chicken tikka dhansak is amazing. Have tried many others local to where we live and they do not compare. They are always friendly and welcoming too. Highly recommend.

Went on a very wet Friday early evening. Wasn't busy and I have to say one of the best Indian restaurants around. We regularly use this for delivery so was an easy choice for an evening meal. Very glad we did.

Ordered takeaway from this restaurant and to be honest, the food was really bad. The butter chicken tikka was 'SWEET'. The chicken biryani did not have ANY salt in it. Extremely disappointed with the food. Would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Excellent service arrived within 20 minutes of ordering it. it had an extremely tasty aroma turned up lovely and hot and ready to serve. Couldn’t have asked for better a better takeaway. 5 star’s Excellent 🤩👍

Came here for a meal with my dad and will definitely be coming back. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent with generous portions reasonable prices. My only nitpick would be to update the menus as they still state that the restaurant is fully licensed to serve alcohol, but it isn't.

My first visit tonight, after being recommended, everything was five star, as we're the staff, very professional and courteous, best Indian I've tried for a long time, can highly recommend it, plus prices were very reasonable.

We chose to have a family lunch at Indian Aroma on my birthday and it was a choice of luck. They have kindly opened the restaurant for us earlier than the normal hours. The staff ( Rohit) was an excellent host, treated us with delicious south indian feast. Thank you Indian Aroma team for the kibd gesture and yummmy food.

Lovely Indian takeaway from here Can’t really fault the food… Only comment/feedback to provide was I felt the food was a bit watery and bland. Other than that all good.

Indian Aroma did catering of our event with 120 guests. The food came before time, was set up and ready on time. The guests all appreciated the food, authentic taste and brilliant service, quantity provided for 120 guests was more than sufficient. Will definitely use their services again in future, very highly recommended.

Was a nice evening with my husband for valentines day. Staff was very friendly and nice. We was the only 2 people in the restaurant all night. Food was nice. We was able to take out time and enjoy eating our food and talking. I forgot to take pictures of the food. But food was very nice and tasty.

Bog standard generic high street 'curry house' - not terrible, but nothing that makes you want to return

Named as an Indian restaurant, but realised that dining for Indians is not welcome here. Please refrain from dining if you are an Indian.

Worst food in London, nothing was cooked well. It seemed like a thick sauce was added in the name of curry, the meat didn’t have any spices/aroma inside. The so called pilau rice was absolutely flavorless. The high google rating is very misleading.

Haven't been here for a while and was in the area so in we went, really good value and more importantly the food was superb, just a note the food here just a bit hotter than your average curry house. If you prefer less spice just say and they will tone it down a tad

Food was delivered within estimated time, hot and authentic. We had a 20% discount code and were given free popadoms with yogurt dressing and onion salad. Large portions and enough for tomorrow’s dinner.

Ordered for delivery, quoted by restaurant free delivery on orders over £12.95 within 4 mile radius, ( my order £23+) ,my address 3.9 miles from restaurant but charged £3 delivery, not conducive to further custom, food quality fairly good but offset by jiggly charge makes a difference.

Lovley indian restaurant been using for many years now

Ask for a Murgi massala, it's not on the menu but they'll do it special, a very tasty mild dish. It's also the only restaurant I know that has a sweet orange coconut dip for the poppadoms. Nice staff, cool fish tank.

Used to frequent this place regularly, however despite many requests the chef cannot make a hot curry. A vindaloo is akin to a dhansak elsewhere. Also the last time I visited was charged £30.00 for a bottle of Chablis. I do not use now as it is possibly the most expensive restaurant in Romford.

I like this place! They have delicious dishes, their menu is rich, The chef in that place is a real pro, I love very much trying all their food. The food is consistently fresh, the attitude towards the clients is efficient. I often eat in this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I got to say the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the place neat all the time. Rates are fair and they serve big portions.

I’ve been ordering from Aroma for 5 years and we’re always happy with the service! I’ve tried a few different Indian Takeaways in the area but always come back to Aroma. Delivery service is great, and our food always arrives hot. We’ve eaten in the restaurant on one occasion and that was also very pleasant. The staff are friendly, polite and service is fast. Their Peshwari Naan is just the best!! Will certainly continue to order many more curries from Aroma.

However, the food lacked in taste on many levels - all the gravy items taste almost the same, the chicken wasn't fresh and you get freshly squeezed drinks poured straight out of a bottle! Biryani tastes like fried rice. You can't taste the cheese inside your naan and the delectable aroma overall is missing!

Extremely disappointed. Ordered a takeaway curry 2 nights ago. Appalling bland flavour with not enough spice. I thought I was eating chicken stew. The paratha was thick and hard and almost inedible, the keema naan was not only burnt but inside had a strange red-coloured paper-thin donor kebab slice, no sign of any real meat. Raita was full of sugar. Shall certainly not be ordering from here again.

One of the best Indian restaurants. The onion bhajees are wonderful. I order passanda curry and it’s really authentic. The korma is great too. The naan bread is hard to beat. A great food experience. Waiters friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this gem which is clean and has actual tablecloths and napkins. A worthwhile experience in my view and I’m generally critical.

This place has drastically gone down hill in the last year - I have recommended this restaurant to many people over the years and sadly to say,I will no longer be ordering from here - I have given them the benefit of the doubt and tried to stay loyal but no more-very bland, totally lost the authenticity of an Indian dish,they need to go back to basics and quickly-shame !!

We were on a visit to Romford and found this place. We tried their vegetarian food having recently tured vegetarian so we went for four sides of veggie dishes with naan and also puri. The food was fine other than for the puri which was soggy. Well priced and attentive service as well.

got a takeaway from aroma tonight, the food was awful, there was no flavour in the dansak or the jalfrezi, the chicken was swimming in oil. it appeared that the chef had just poured gravy over the chicken. and the dansak was just runny and hot, but no flavour.very dissapointed.

Have been here on previous visits to Rockford. Good food and reasonably priced. Partner presently had an issue with tumeric in food due to staining, but chef adjusted recipe if her dish to take it out.

Great restaurants for both eating in or take aways. Freindly staff, would recommend! Eating in it is never really busy which I like and ordering take aways they are fairly quick.

Very nice atmosphere is created in this restaurant, where authentic and good tasting Indian food is served. Portion sizes are very generous, and prices are good for th amount of food and good service you receive. Location wise, there is little free parking in the area, which is a downside, but parking in the Brewery is relatively cheap if you do not mind paying.

Terrible Ordered this to our home address and when the food came the chicken tikka masla was just chicken and onions in a container that's it no sauce! The whole order was very dry and no flavour and just about warm. Incredibly disappointed will not be ordering again and will not recommend.

Held a a charity quiz night. Good fun all round. Could have had more Vegetarian food options and drinks are very pricey.

Have a take away from here quite a bit, there’s so much food for your money, the dishes are all delicious, and reasonably priced, and delivery is easy and quick from door to door.

Not the best Indian. Tikka Masala tasted like pure honey. Way too sweet. Happy I didn't order Korma. They also don't deliver enough naan bread for the portion - and it's also not the best.

Aroma has become our local indian after the Bangra Beat changed/ shut down and we tend to visit at least once a week.The food is always lovely and the portions are a good size. We tend tp try different things on the menu and have found the chefs choices our favourite dishes.The staff are always friendly and helpful, Mohammed is always helpful and chatty but never intrusive.We have also attended the quiz nights there a few times and have found them to be a good night out.On the whole we feel the Aroma is the best indian in this area.

Wow wow wow! Best curry we’ve had in a very long time! First time customer but will be a frequent one from now on!! We had lamb vindaloo and lamb jalfrezi, both of which were stunning dishes.
