Chicken Tikka masala meal wasn't very nice, hard on the outside & quite squidgy in the middle. only the sauce got eaten with one of the rice portions.

Have ordered many times as well as eaten in the restaurant. But tonight food wasn’t up to the usual standard meat was dry and tough and wasn’t as much flavour as normal sadly don’t think we will return

The worst curry I've ever had. I ordered chicken tikka masala and the chicken was so tuff it was ineadable, I will never order from Manga again.

Food was reasonably good but not warm when it arrived. Even had to heat the naan up and they are never the same then.

I accidentally ordered two lots still waiting for a refund which I have put through PayPal .

I went to magna bognor regis for a takeaway which I have not had from there before. I asked if they do takeaway and the staff at the counter just looked at me . I got a reply after repeating my question a few times. I ordered a drink while I was waiting which came without a glass. I asked the person at the counter for a glass then once again just stared at me and after a while he said very clearly and with a very smug look we have no spare glasses whilst he was surrounded by clean glases. The staff are nasty and rude. And food not good quality. Don't go there.

Just absolutely shocking food was so dry could barely be eaten. I had take away late at night so I waited until the following evening to ring and they said I would need to ring when it was delivered, i pointed out i couldn’t as they were closed and they just said too late😳

Was horrible all bone dry barely edible.

A friend joined us and her Kashmir chicken was enjoyable. My wife's Rogan Josh was not as good as usual. Of the onion bhajis, only two were edible, the rest were very burnt. I had ordered chicken chaat. I don't know what I got but it was terrible.

Lamb was poor quality and inedible, onion Bhaji was rock solid, chips were stone cold and eggs were grey

Arrived on time. Not particularly hot especially the Bombay potato. Chicken tikka Badami was tasteless, wouldn’t recommended. Other stuff was okay, again not piping hot.

The food tasted bland the special biryani was literally nasty had pineapple and banana fritters in it which was odd and on top when I received my order the daal was literally in the bottom on the bag leaking and when I called to complain the guy was not bothered AVOIDDDDD

Chicken in the tikka, shashlick and Dansak was not pleasant, it was dry, hard and had clearly been reheated. The onion bhajee’s were cold. Such a shame as food we’ve had from them in the past has been great. Delivery was on time and the driver was lovely.

I haven’t received my order yet again! This is the second time now and I haven’t received my money back from the kfc that never got delivered either a month ago

Our food turned up 15 minutes after the end time frame allocated and was not hot it was at room temperature, this is not on considering paying £100 for a birthday meal from a restaurant we have eaten at many times before

Food was not very hot although delivered very quick. The lamb Jalfrezi dish was chewy and not eatable. The chicken tikka was also not very nice as meat was hard and chewy. The other chicken curry dish was eatable. All in all compared to eating in the restaurant the delivery was a disappointment.

Came here with a friend of mine had the duck tandoori and dessert. We were a bit rushed through our meal but not a lot. Would recommend here for a meal.

Absolutely love Magna Tandoori. Great food every time. Fantastic variety of food on the menu. Reasonably priced. Delivery is either early or on time. The restaurant is clean, and the staff are polite and efficient. I would recommend the Magna to anyone.

The food was really stale and felt like it had been cooked before and reheated for us. The papadoms were floppy and super greasy, golden balls were crushed, meat was over juicy and undercooked. Extremely unhappy with the food.

Stark contrast to the order I had previously with this restaurant. Chicken tikka cheese naan, the cheese had melted and then solidified again which completely ruined it. The curry itself lamb dansak tasted like it had been reheated and the lamb was very tough.

As always, a pleasant experience. Fabulous food, lovely, lively atmosphere, polite staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommended.

loved the curry but a bit heavy on the salt (on the chicken curry )

Since I gave a poor review a couple of years ago I have only been in a couple of times. One of those was tonight. Quiet Thursday visit only four tables being served. Service was good and prices are still reasonable. There is something lacking from previous years unfortunately. One of our serving plates was chipped. The madras served in a small bowl. Plates were cold so therefor food hit the plate and instantly loses the heat . I had King Prawn Korai. Lovely and rich however the prawns had been cut in half so in total three prawns used. Dish topped up heavily with peppers and onions. It’s such a shame but cutting costs are showing. Lack of attention to detail are showing in this once amazing restaurant

Unusual for the Magna to make a mistake but my curry was lamb instead of Chicken 😳

We visited Magna last year and decided that it was such an awful experience, the food was so dreadful that we wouldn’t go back. Food then was tasteless, some dishes were clearly not fresh and had been reheated, e.g. vegetable rice was warm rice but chilled veg. its probable they batch cook rice and just add the extra ingredients to fit the dish, but it clearly hadn’t been reheated properly. We had tandoori chicken; the outside was hot and cooked and the middle pink cold and raw. Rejected the meal and it apparently was ‘remade’ and it came back passable. Chicken was at least cooked but was hard, obviously not fresh. Side dish of aloo gobi was watery , potatoes had a tinge to them and falling apart, just like they go when they are over boiled, and the cauliflower was raw. Thus, we weren’t going back! The bad reviews of the time were consistent with our experience. Last nite we were looking for somewhere to eat and it popped up as a local suggestion, initially dismissed it but then read some of the more recent reviews, seems they might have upped their game and things looked good. Well after last night I have no faith in the food hygiene rating system as its obviously broken and failed to pickup the obviously bad practices we observed. Sitting not far from the kitchen we could see what was happening. Dishes coming out of the kitchen handled by someone in dirty jeans plonking them on the counter or placing them on the trolly. At one point when he came out we saw something in his mouth that looked like an e-cigarette if it wasn’t then what was it and even then he shouldn’t have anything in his mouth. As we eat the popodoms, they were clearly passed their best, not warm or fresh at al. One was so stale it was all limp the others barely crispy. We’ve had takeaway from elsewhere and the popodoms next day have more life in them. We had a sharing platter, which had been placed on the counter and left there for several people to walk pass and talk over and by the time it came to the table if it had any temperature to it that had died off. The lamb was inedible , so hard that it couldn’t be cut , took some force to pick it up on the fork and gingerly taking a bite I couldn’t chew it. Chicken again so over cooked it was hard, some pieces were chilled in the middle with a coating of warm sauce. Bahajis were burnt and over cooked and the bomb with the hardboiled egg in the middle was so hard and again chilled we just picked at the potato which actually was hot so it had at least been in a fryer to cook that part. The salad on the plate was limp and started to go grey having been out too long. The mains, veg biriani , veg curry and chicken tandoori. The rice was warm and the veg in the rice cold. Chicken like bullets, the sauce was hot but the chicken was cold and very hard, so precooking chicken is taking place and then adding to sauce to make the dish rather than a fresh dish cooked. The veg curry had been in the microwave!, it was scolding hot and had the signs on the bowl of the food splatts as the microwave boils the sauce. We’ve all done it in our own microwaves and know the signs. The only food which appeared to be freshly prepared was he nan, sadly that had sat around so long before it came to the table that the oils had resurfaced, and it was soggy. Having picked as some of it and then just giving up because it wasn’t nice when we were asked if everything was okay we mentioned the problems and it was al taken away. They did offer to prepare a fresh meal and that really was the right thing to do but there was no trust that would happen and chef. Mic wasn’t going to be involved somewhere. If they can prepare fresh meals, then why are they not doing it for every table and not just those that mention it. The table next to ours were also not happy with their meal either, we chatted for a bit but they said they just didn’t want to make a fuss. To be fair to the restaurant they were polite and accepted what we said and it wasn’t necessary to be cross or make a fuss. Throughout the evening both of us had unsettling feelings in our stomachs and by the time we’d got home were in quite a lot of discomfort, without being graphic both of us have upset stomachs and have been sick too and in and out of the toilet. Clearly their cooking practices are not good. They are re-heating food and mixing chilled with part cooked and generally not following good food preparation practices. They had a second chance and blew it, it’ll be a long time before we consider giving them a third chance. There is no way this restaurant is compliant with a five star food rating. Makes a mockery of the system.

Unfortunately all the food was cold. The vegetables curry was not fresh or the aloo gobi. It tasted awful. The onions barges were not very nice either. Such a shame as I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years. I prefer eating in the restaurant.

This restaurant, after a period of deterioration, is back to its high standard of good service and well presented generous portions of quality food, served on hot plates - deep joy. The restaurant filled up very quickly during our weekend visit at 18:30 and was full at the time of our departure, deservedly so given the excellent meal we enjoyed at a reasonable price. Providing these standards are maintained this establishment will in my opinion, remain the premier Indian restaurant in Bognor Regis.
