Bombay Nights in Nottingham

The food was delicious, flavoursome and piping hot. I have ordered from here and attended the restaurant on multiple occasions. The service as always been excellent! Overall, I am very happy and pleased with the service and quality of food offered, and would definitely recommend to others.

Great food, friendly staff, parking. You can walk in however best to book if special occasion does get busy. If your eyes are bigger than your belly you can take away. Also you can order takeaway they do not serve alcohol you can take your own they prefer bottles only

We booked the restaurant for a birthday party for up to 50 people. When we made the booking a couple of months ago, we were told that we didn't need to pay anything for children under 8. We counted the adults and children above 8 and there were 47 people. We accidentally counted one extra person and thought there were 48 People (they said it would be half price for the children between 8-12 years old). The manager was so rude and kept arguing that there were 52 people. He changed us for 50 people when there were only 47 people including the kids above 8. He charged full price for the children. So arrogant and disrespectful. We didn't want to argue in front of our guests so we just paid what they asked for. Chicken drumsticks on one of our tables were not cooked properly. I would never go there again unless that manager is sacked. He was nightmare but the rest of the staff was very friendly and polite. I think for £18 per person, we deserve a better treatment. That guy is awful

Ordered at 1800 for 2030 delivery. I ensured I had ordered early to ensure a timely delivery for a special occasion which was then somewhat ruined due to the lateness of the food. I have never had bad food from Bombay Nights and the customer service is normally sublime. However, tonight I feel I have been let down.

Being Early isn't a bad thing! food portion size, food quality is always good no complaints what so ever. 😁

The egg fried rice didn’t taste normal,for the pickle I put onion chutney but I got the mango chutney and I wasn’t happy about that .

Would benefit from some background music... but the waiters are entertaining also. You can bring your own beer/ wine. And the portions are huge...( they are always happy to give you takeaway containers). All round good Indian... and Wednesdays are 241 on mains

Order from these guys quite alot so it's disappointing to have to do this but the rice was watery & the butter chicken was full of grease. Overall the meal was tastless. Disappointing

My friend ordered a jalfrazi curry which did not mention tomatoes however there was tomato which my friend is allergic to and caused bad belly ache. Apart from this food was absolutely spot on

Wonderful meal for my 60th. As a party of 6 we were looked after so well by Dave and the team. Such a bonus to be able to take our own drinks, which are such a rip off at most restaurants. Look forward to our next visit.

Absolutely class! We used to order from here when we lived in Wollaton so was so happy to see that they now deliver to Beeston. Thankfully, they still make the same great curries. You won’t be disappointed!

Most amazing tasty Indian meal we have ever had, hot on arrival and just fabulous.

4 prawns in one dish for £10 and 2 prawns in the other for £10 ridiculous prices for the food

Usually very tasty but the lamb rogan josh tonight was terrible. Meat quality was appalling. Tried to call the restaurant and they were rude and didn’t want to know. I have no use in another curry in 40 mins

The food is way too sweet. It like eating a dessert not Indian food. Couldn’t even eat it all. Absolute waste of money.

Now I love a fish curry and whilst there were some nice fish options on the menu, I quite fancied one of the chefs specials which only came with meat and was mild. I asked if it was possible to have that particular curry but with fish and a medium/hot heat, the waiters response was ‘absolutely we can do this for you’ and wow I have to say I was impressed with the outcome, it was delicious! The portion sizes were nice and big, I couldn’t eat all of mine so they let me take the rest home in a doggy bag, which I thoroughly enjoyed just as much the next day. The staff were kind, welcoming and very attentive, the atmosphere was cosy and quiet and the food was to die for. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves a good curry! 😁

The Peshwari chicken curry came as a vegetable curry and the vegetable pasanda came as a chicken pasanda. When we phoned them up they thought we was lying even though the lids on container was right but contents was wrong.

Booked for 6 of us on Monday night for 7.30 arrived earlier to find a notice on the door saying closed till further notice. Had no phone call or any correspondence regarding our booking after certain members of our company had travelled a considerable distance I find this unacceptable which incurred costs to us due to having to find another venue. I definitely will think twice before booking at this venue again.

Food turned up over a hour late as the delivery driver had knocked on the wrong door. When is finally arrived curry was watery with no taste stingy amount of chicken and chips.

Driver turned up with the wrong order and I told him it was wrong. I even showed him my order and he obviously had the orders mixed up. He then gave me attitude and told me it’s the restaurants problem not his. I won’t be using this restaurant again. If they employ idiots like that delivering their food what else are they doing wrong.

Finally found a Karahi to match the ones of This and That in Manchester. Absolutely delicious.

Asked for order to arrive as soon as possible and it was quicker then the estimated time which was very pleasing. The food quality was also better then expected even though the cost was slightly above what we would normally consider paying. Would order again.

Our first time coming here for a family gathering. We felt really welcomed. Customer service was excellent and the food was very well presented and tasty. I shall be returning with friends and family to share this lovely experience.

I have eaten here many times before, around 10 times, many of which were great experiences. However my previous meal for my birthday a few days ago with 5 guests was not the standard of quality of food I was expecting. The grilled salmon was rock hard and consisted of 3 tiny pieces which was a total dissapointment, we ordered 3 mixed grills, the meats was hard, chewy and, dry as wood, no juices were in sight, it was overcooked. We also ordered a curry which was lacking flavour and was cooked incorrectly (the onions were still raw). This was once a very good restaurant, it is still very clean and friendly, but what is the point of spending £75 on food that doesn't taste up to scratch. Everyone including myself was dissapointed. I will not be returning as the chefing team has now changed. This may be ok if you are looking for a commercial place to eat, however if you are a South Asian looking for authentic tasting food with high standards, this is not it anymore.

Order came. It was wrong. Said mixed grill for 1 on the box but ordered a mixed grill fusion. No rice was sent. Not happy at all

Korma was watery and did not taste good. Meat was much hotter than the sauce. Rice had no flavour. Couldn’t eat it. Popadoms although had to be delivered later, were nice.
