I wouldve given extra stars for the service if i couldve. I dont remember the name of the uncle but he was a riot! Coming to the food we got: Poori nashta: cant go wrong, the aaloo ki bhujia was especially spot on Aaloo paratha: delicious, had proper seasoning Mooli paratha: couldve used a bit more spices Chai: spot on Desi anda: as desi as you couldve gotten it Just a suggestion: raita ya chatni wouldve been awesome with the parathas or even plain dahi. The dahi thwy gave was sweet dahi and i guess its a different tradition with everyone. All in all would definitely visit again

A big disappointment with their breakfast. We went a year ago which we enjoyed however this time the standard of the breakfast was very low. Smoky burnt smelling chick peas, overdone puri and tasteless bland potato. Not worth the price.

Recently visited this place for the desi breakfast. The food didn’t take long to come out which was good however the puri was over cooked (very crispy). The Chana (chickpeas) were burnt with a charcoal smell, and despite raising it with the staff they didn’t care. I’ve had a few and this is a breakfast to forget after feeling unwell for the rest of the day.

Very disappointed today with the breakfast. We visited this afternoon with a family of 6 for the full break menu. Initially promptly greeted, seated, then placed our order but this when things went downhill sadly. We told the staff member a couple was running late to serve 4 of 6 breakfast orders. The breakfast came approx 6-7 after placed our order. We tried the Chana which had very smoked / burnt taste and had very little spice or flavour, the aloo was very bland, the halwa was acceptable, and the achar was really just there for show, who is going to eat lemon achar. The mango lassi I would say was OK. When the couple joined us after the food was served they have their channa substituted with aloo, so got 2 serving with no mention of why. When we asked why they said they ran out of channa despite me advising to have order ready and did not mention this even after they served it to them. I find this poor and embarrassing. We did not enjoy the breakfast unfortunately this time like we did 1 year ago. We told the waiter about how we felt, he mentioned the lady who makes the food was away on Umrah and the channa was overcooked hence the smoked taste. In short he admitted it was not up their standards.. despite this there was no apology or concession offered for the bad food, really bad service. I’m getting smoky heart burn writing this review so I hope management this review serious.

I recently visited Chaska Restaurant in Nottingham, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The staff, especially Ali was incredibly attentive, ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the meal. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic dishes, and the flavors were absolutely spot on. I particularly loved the Chicken Shinwari, which was cooked to perfection with just the right balance of spices. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. Highly Recommended!!

Had desi breakfast at Chaska and was well impressed. Halwa puri were not oily like other places and all breakfast selection was delicious especially mooli parantha and egg saalan staff were all very friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Great family place 10/10 Will visit you guys again

I had a great dining experience. Ambience is beautiful and the food we had (shinwari handi) was the most delicious I've had in Nottingham so far ! The service was responsive, quick and friendly. We even got complementary tea and sweets in the end haha 😆 will definitely visit again. Shout out to the manager Ali for excellent service. Thank you :)

Another great meal at Chaska on Saturday night - over 6 or 7 times in the last 3-4 years on trips to Nottingham it has never disappointed. The staff have always been welcoming and the food just great. Portions are hearty, so it's easy to overorder and the mango lassis are a treat. Will be back again in a few months.
