Celebrated my daughters birthday tonight lovely food & excellent service 😊

First time ordering. Very good 👍

They even called to make sure the dairy free was how we wanted it. very satisfied.

Fabulous food and very friendly staff

Had a takeaway whilst visiting relatives. Had the Jackos Special Chicken which was absolutely delicious. Very tasty sauce with generous pieces of chicken. The garlic mushroom rice was also delicious. Friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back when in Nottingham again, will try restaurant next time. Thank you.

Food came and was freezing and should be made aware that delivery time kept changing and when ordering a chutney tray should be made aware they don't come with poppadoms as at normal Indian takeaways they do

I Purchased a chicken Dhansak, It mentioned nothing about how firey it was, every Dhansak i have had in nottingham has always been as mild as a Korma, so i assumed it was. If i had known it wasn't i would not of purchased it. The flavour was loveley but i had to stop eating it because it was very fiery to the taste. So please rewrite the discription, so others will know how hot it is, Because it is definatly not the Typical very mild Dhansak that other take aways in Nottingham sell.

Delicious! Every time and the delivery driver is a sweetheart!

We ordered food from their takeaway service, not only was it late, it was also cold, we had to heat it up in the microwave. Rang the restaurant, and they didn't seem overly bothered, said we can have a discount next time.... we won't be ordering from them again, so won't ever get that discount.... very expensive for such a poor service.

Been twice and both times amazing food drink atmosphere would highly recommend this place 👌

My first EVER time ordering from here. We had a takeaway, This consisted of... Poppadoms and chuckney Mixed kebab Onion bhaji Keema naan Keema rice Chicken rogan josh Chicken madras. WOW, What delish food. 😋 I've had many takeaways from around my area and been very disappointed. I honestly can't say I was from here! Very flavoursome hardly any filler in the curries leaving more room for meat! We will certainly be coming back!

Simply the best local curry ive found 👍🏻

We have a curry club and visit different restaurants every other month. This is one of the best I've been to. The quality of food and presentation is slightly better than most places I've been to in Nottingham. Service was excellent and the 8 of us all agreed the food was excellent. It's quite small inside so I'd recommend booking. Plenty of parking outside.

best Indian by far ... always consistent good quality food ...each dish is different you can tell they take care in there service to the customer and delivery is spot on..even when they are busy

Food was amazing, hot meat is to die for three of us had tikka masala which was thick and creamy nann bread was cooked to the right order and when asked to spice one up a little more they did when asked for something they went that extra mile to provide great service will be coming again plus ordering online for take out

We order quite often for takeaway and are always Very happy. However, we went in the restaurant new years eve and it was great. Really nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, and the food was fantastic. Def recommend

I was recommended this restaurant by friends who live in this area and we wanted a treat take a way on Christmas Eve on the way home from seeing family. We were not disappointed and I have to say this is the best Indian I have had in a long time. Great friendly service superb food and a good price too. Will definitely call in again and I highly recommend.

The curry and rice were lovely. Really enjoyed it but the naan bread was quite dry and the poppadoms soggy / not crispy. I think had we had them fresh in the restaurant they would have been great

It's really one of the best Tandoori restaurants I have been to. The food is simply off the scale great, and the friendly service is first class. Free easy parking outside also. Fantastic.

The pathia was very watery and lacked the usual rich taste, the mixed kebab starter usually contains decent sized chunks but these would be embarrassing even next to a McNugget, and the order arrived over an hour after the predicted time (2.5 hours total). I'm hoping this is a one off but I'll definitely not be recommending it to anyone for a while that's for sure. So disappointed.. after all these years I even feel betrayed. Oh and to top it off the driver couldn't be bothered to walk down my drive to the door and rang me from the car to collect it from him.

Driver made me go out to the street and put my shoes on. Food was ok but I’ve had better. So probably will not dash back.

Had a takeaway which came on time but was very disappointing. The bag of contents had no aroma of spices which was not a good sign. This was realised when eating the contents as all dishes were very bland. The sauces were poor, not authentic Indian gravies. Good thing was they were not too oily and the chicken tikka in one of the dishes was not too bad. Not inedible but not nice at all, hence 2 stars. Had to add seasoning to bring out any spice taste that was lurking in the background somewhere. Actually tasted a bit better 2 days later after leaving in the fridge and re-reheating. Will not be ordering again

Poor food, not authentic, not inedible but not pleasant. Very little flavour and had to season to bring out what little spicing was there. This was a takeaway meal so hope they do not provide such food to eat-in customers. Tasted better after 2 days in the fridge but will not be ordering again. Delivery was on time, hence the better rating.

I’ve used Woodthorpe Tandoori a couple times before and to be honest it’s been okay, I don’t really know what happened but tonight’s takeaway was close to disgusting, where do I start? I had the Woodthorpe special it was awful the sauce was tasteless and the lamb was like leather and tasted old, the chicken tikka was dry and tasteless and the so call on the bone chicken tandoori breast wasn’t breast at all it was a very small piece of chicken thigh what was basically just all bone. The basmati rice was tasteless and dry and the keema naan was not much better. After this experience I won’t be using Woodthorpe tandoori again I may as well thrown my money away. I did ring up to complain and they were good enough to send out another dish as a replacement a chicken Karahi sadly that wasn’t much better. I hope after this review the management sort out the quality of the food, I hope whoever uses Woodthorpe tandoori after me doesn’t have such a bad experience

Worst mix grill I have ever had very dry lacking flavour and paid £11.50 for it waste of money went straight in the bin and very small portion

Been away on holiday and treated us to our favorite curry from our favorite curry house and it was spot on .. delivery driver is lovely and always has time for a little chat

Quality ingredients, always cooked to order and exceptional taste. Have used this restaurant on and off for nearly 20 years. Tried many others but always come back!

We been before and really enjoyed it, we decided to go to finish off the weekend as it was my husband’s birthday We are firm believers of supporting local businesses We booked a table but when we got there the table wasn’t even ready even though there were empty tables, eventually we were seated but it took an age for them to take the drinks order, we looked at the menu and placed our orders but when the food arrived both dishes looked the same and was tasteless, we tried to mention it to the waiter but he wasn’t interested. We won’t be back, terrible food and mediocre service !!!

Nice curries but let down by stale poppudom (69p!) and it wasn't a cheese nan they sent, but soggy plain thing.

OMG been using a couple of months i drive 10 miles to use i will never use another there are a couple of good ones in Mansfield but this one is a different level the food is quite simply fantastic I've made a point of trying different dishes i now order extra dishes to freeze and have in the week it really is that good i recommend to anyone try it the service is impeccable i heard from a friend it was good but that is an understatement wonderful

Only ordered here a few times but always had lovely food. Hot, fresh and full of Flavour. On this occasion an item was missing and when I called the person I spoke to couldn’t be more helpful and apologetic. They sent someone out with the missing item straight away.
