too be fair was running late but food and delivery driver who's always a pleasure to see makes it worth the wait did was spot on

Delicious food which arrived early and was piping hot. The chicken bhuna and pilau rice were very tasty, and like that you can select your preferred level of spiciness. Shame only that the onion bhajis were overcooked, or refried, making them charred and hard.

excellent Curry's,meat soft and tender but rice was not pilau just plain, and onion baiji batter was too hard. overall Curry's saved the meal.

Really disappointed. Food arrived over an hour after it was ordered. Mixed kebab cold and 3 pieces so tough that they were inedible. Prawn Biriani was also cold. The rice tasted soapy. The sauce had huge lumps of potato and little runny sauce. Threw it away.

Every dish was prepared with such care and bursting with freshness. The fish pakora was a standout – crispy on the outside, tender and flavourful inside, and seasoned to perfection. The naans were delicious, light, and fluffy, with just the right amount of crispiness and char. They paired beautifully with the curries, which were packed with flavour and topped with loads of fresh coriander (which I absolutely love!). One of the things I appreciated most was the variety on the menu. There were so many dishes I had never heard of before, making the experience even more exciting. It was a joy to try something new, and every dish exceeded expectations. The selection of desserts was also impressive, and everything we tried was delicious. To top it all off, they brought out hot towels at the end of the meal – a thoughtful touch that really added to the experience. And, as if that wasn’t enough, we were treated to complimentary After Eight chocolates – such a delightful way to finish off a fantastic meal. The value for money here is excellent, especially considering the high quality of food and service. We left feeling full, satisfied, and already planning our next visit. Visitamos regularmente y no podemos encontrar ningún fallo con este restaurante. La comida es deliciosa y siempre se adaptan a su petición. Nuestro principal es generalmente tikka pathia balti roshone shashlik, creado por uno de los propietarios. Cada curry es excelente. Los popadoms y la bandeja son abundantes, 5 chapuzones para elegir. Ajo y cilantro naan ligero y fácil de comer, el arroz frito también delicioso. El personal es muy amable, excelente servicio. Esperamos nuestra próxima visita 👍 muy recomendable.

Great food - Seekh kebab the best around, and Bombay potatoes fab too. Chicken Bhuna, a favourite, never disappoints, and with pilau rice is always enjoyable. Once again arrived early, and hot, with a friendly driver.

We ordered at 18.58. Estimated time for deliver of 20.20-20.40. Called the restaurant at 21.14 was told it left 10 minutes ago… we are 11 minutes from the restaurant it then took another 16 minutes for the order to come to us . Shocking service. We will definitely not be ordering from here again.

the best takeaway Indian by far food absolutely brilliant and service ....but due to rising costs and just eat pricing it makes it very expensive to have a takeaway.....it would work out cheaper to eat in the restaurant

Very tasty again. Best seekh kebab around, and very enjoyable Chicken Karahi with lovely pilau rice and keema nan. Good proportion of meat to sauce. Arrived on time, and while the starters could have been hotter the mains were still quite hot, so didn't detract from enjoying the meal.

Delicious! We had the mixed kebab, onion bhaji, chicken bhuna, fried rice & keema nan. Came with nice fresh mini salads and mint yoghurt. Enjoyed every single morsel. Arrived on time and hot. Top marks!

Food by time got to the flat, was tepid and had to be warmed up. Driver just shrugged about it being over 30.minutes late

This was my first time ordering from this establishment. We had a takeaway that consisted of poppadoms and chutney, a mixed kebab, onion bhaji, keema naan, keema rice, chicken rogan josh, and chicken madras. The food was exceptionally delicious. I have had many takeaways from restaurants in my area and have often been disappointed. However, I can honestly say that I was not disappointed with this establishment. The curries were very flavorful and contained very little filler, allowing for more meat. We will definitely be returning customers.

Not as good as previous times. Ordered 2 saags and they hardly had any spinach in, they were tomato based? Not that impressed.

I just ordered from here for the first time 16/05/24 and I have no idea how this restaurant has soo many 4/5 star ratings. The food was really bad. Lamb bhuna was tough as old boots and really lacked flavour. Chicken Tikka massala wasn't any better chicken was really dry. Naan bread was burnt. Very disappointed.

Just recieved a curry that was ordered online, curry was nice but extremely disappointed that they got my order wrong! Ordered a garlic Nan with cheese that was £4, recieved a plain Nan and it was like eating cardboard

Takeaway via restaurants website. Barjis overdone but reasonably tasty. Main course (curry) cold as was nan bread . Once warmed up in micro tasty enough. Nothing special at restaurant prices

Had a takeaway whilst visiting relatives. Had the Jackos Special Chicken which was absolutely delicious. Very tasty sauce with generous pieces of chicken. The garlic mushroom rice was also delicious. Food came and was freezing and should be made aware that delivery time kept changing and when ordering a chutney tray should be made aware they don't come with poppadoms as at normal Indian takeaways they do

I Purchased a chicken Dhansak, It mentioned nothing about how firey it was, every Dhansak i have had in nottingham has always been as mild as a Korma, so i assumed it was. If i had known it wasn't i would not of purchased it. The flavour was loveley but i had to stop eating it because it was very fiery to the taste. So please rewrite the discription, so others will know how hot it is, Because it is definatly not the Typical very mild Dhansak that other take aways in Nottingham sell.

We ordered food from their takeaway service, not only was it late, it was also cold, we had to heat it up in the microwave. Rang the restaurant, and they didn't seem overly bothered, said we can have a discount next time.... we won't be ordering from them again, so won't ever get that discount.... very expensive for such a poor service.

We have a curry club and visit different restaurants every other month. This is one of the best I've been to. The quality of food and presentation is slightly better than most places I've been to in Nottingham. Service was excellent and the 8 of us all agreed the food was excellent. It's quite small inside so I'd recommend booking. Plenty of parking outside.

best Indian by far ... always consistent good quality food ...each dish is different you can tell they take care in there service to the customer and delivery is spot on..even when they are busy

Food was amazing, hot meat is to die for three of us had tikka masala which was thick and creamy nann bread was cooked to the right order and when asked to spice one up a little more they did when asked for something they went that extra mile to provide great service will be coming again plus ordering online for take out

I was recommended this restaurant by friends who live in this area and we wanted a treat take a way on Christmas Eve on the way home from seeing family. We were not disappointed and I have to say this is the best Indian I have had in a long time. Great friendly service superb food and a good price too. Will definitely call in again and I highly recommend.

The curry and rice were lovely. Really enjoyed it but the naan bread was quite dry and the poppadoms soggy / not crispy. I think had we had them fresh in the restaurant they would have been great

It's really one of the best Tandoori restaurants I have been to. The food is simply off the scale great, and the friendly service is first class. Free easy parking outside also. Fantastic.

Awful food. Tasteless, mass produced, I’ve had better ready meals

I've been using Woodthorpe Tandoori for over 5 years, at least once a month and I've always recommended it to others because it's one of the best tasting and very consistently so. Generally the orders are on time or even early HOWEVER, this order broke that trend - and badly. The pathia was very watery and lacked the usual rich taste, the mixed kebab starter usually contains decent sized chunks but these would be embarrassing even next to a McNugget, and the order arrived over an hour after the predicted time (2.5 hours total). I'm hoping this is a one off but I'll definitely not be recommending it to anyone for a while that's for sure. So disappointed.. after all these years I even feel betrayed. Oh and to top it off the driver couldn't be bothered to walk down my drive to the door and rang me from the car to collect it from him

Not great. Very expensive for what you got. Did get two sauce pots, one was all over the rest of the food (as in it burst)
