Excellent place. Went in with friends for a general catchup and staff were patient and very polite. Food was nice with portion size just right. Price was very modest for two courses each... would happily recommend!

What a great restaurant, I cannot compliment the friendly staff or the chef enough, along with my friends we now go every month and they have never failed to deliver, on that note I have also had a takeaway delivery that was excellent. Best chicken tandoori in Nottingham (in my opinion).

Best vegetarian Food with quality & taste. Felt refreshing taste of the food, the vegetarian and non-vegetarian food both are amazing and of high quality. Must visit place especially for Indian/ that region food lovers. Welcome & Hospitality was great & the Chef is from Lahore with 40+ years of experience, Paneer is special, Kulcha was good and Rice quality is great, with amazing mouth watering deserts my favorite was Gulab Jamun. Overall food options are best and precisely it tastes the way it was supposed to be, than lot of other frozen foods. They could improve on the Daal quality & cooking.

Worst experience ever. I've been sick with food poisoning for 3 days now. We ordered a Saag and a Prawn curry. The prawn curry didn't have prawns inside but 8 tiny shrimps( The one you buy a 250gr bag from Tesco for 1£) Absolutely disgusting and it was basically a water down tomato sauce. Went straight in the bin. We had a Puri that looked like someone threw a ladle of the terrible prawn curry on a wrap. Worst I have ever seen, avoided. The Saag when opened looked ok but as soon as you put the spoon in you could see it was so microwave dry that it had turned in a paste more than a sauce. Tasted super bitter and the " lamb" tasted off/old. Went in the bin next to the " prawn " curry and Puri. I had 4 spoons of my Saag on rice and I've been sick since Saturday. Puke , diarrhea, headache , shivers and can't get warm. I've Sent this to EHO as well as you need to be checked by someone . Hopefully they'll shut you down or better.

This place is seriously underrated, I think I've visited every curry house on this busy stretch in Nottingham now and Laguna is a seriously good value I highly recommend the "Special Dinner" set menu if you're up for a feast, the quality quantity and value of this is amazing - you'll be leaving absolutely stuffed. However I've also tried the Lamb Biryani and that's good too The staff are friendly and often have a joke with you too. As a bonus they have discount for Gourmet Society members too I'm really not sure why this one isn't as well known, perhaps because it's just around the corner a little? - definitely try it out!

Was recommended this place by an Indian family we met, so had high expectations. Food and service were excellent. If you're not sure what to order, have a chat with Tony and he'll provide advice, and customise your choice to suit your needs (this also proves that everything is cooked fresh). Highly recommended.

Very unhappy about this order. Containers had leaked and so a lot of the food was in the bottom of the carrier bag. Poor packing.

Visited Laguna quite a few times over the years and always have a great time. There is a good atmosphere. The food is delicious and very generous portions. The staff are lovely and attentive. Highly recommended!

I had high hopes about going here. Was disappointed. It took them over an hour between serving the popsdoms & pickles, to serving the main courses. I had 5 small pieces of chicken ‘floating’ in my curry. They didn’t apologize but did say they were busy. I personally, shall not be returning.

As usual, excellent meal in the laguna. There are a number of Indian restaurants in Nottingham , some very good but nothing beats the laguna for quality of food or service. Quite simply the best Indian restaurant around and probably beyond

Can't fault this place. Popped in without booking on a busy Tuesday evening and were made to feel very welcome. Friendly prompt service and really tasty dishes. Also good value for money. But what stood out was customer service - we had a slight error with one main dish. The staff went above and beyond to apologise and make amends. Would definitely return and recommend. Thanks for standing out from the crowds, you have a great team!

Visited yesterday great meal generous portions had mixed kebabs and prawns followed by lamd saag and chicken doppiaza beautifully cooked i think a main course would hav been sufficient as was very very filling.highly recommend ans such a war welcome will be coming again

Really nice Sunday evening meal. We haven’t been for a while as we had been using the away service via Uber eats, however have experienced a lot of issues with missed items and containers breaking in transit with the crazy moped drivers . So, decided to visit tonight as a last minute treat for my Dad. It was a lovely meal and great service. We all had a great time and enjoyed our meals. Thank you Laguna

We haven't been hear for a while but we really enjoyed our dinner. It's a fairly traditional UK 'curry' menu, but well cooked, with generous portions and reasonable prices (by comparison with the rest of Maid Marian Way). Good service with le patron much in evidence.

Fantastic food, ordered and came very quickly 👌 with ample amount the service was excellent the staff so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, lovely atmosphere cannot wait to go back.

I'd been here before when I was in my 20s, and it's still here! We've eaten at most of the "curry houses" around Maid Marion Way over the last year or so and, TBH, it's a bit difficult to pick them apart; they're all serving the same type of food. Food tonight was good and the portion sizes very generous, especially the rice and saucing; we were so stuffed, we couldn't finish - probably ordered too much. We all thought the staff were particularly polite and keen to help. It's also a very long time since I got a bill without any "discretionary service change" whatsoever. We tipped, of course. Also worth noting that a lot of the reviews here are not from people with just 1 or even 0 entries, so they are probably genuine reviews.

Tony and his team are the best in the business! The food is so delicious and portions are generous. The butter chicken is our all time favourite and it can’t be beaten! The staff are so friendly and attentive - bringing the poppadoms out minutes after arriving! There always a lovely atmosphere. This is the only place my boyfriend and I go for a curry - We can’t wait to visit again soon :)

Visited Laguna on Saturday evening with a large stag-do group of 15 (well-behaved) lads. Service was super-efficient, the food was delicious and the staff dealt with our group with good humour. Some restaurants struggle with large groups but Laguna run a really well-oiled ship. Good value for money too.

Consistent quality, good choice and great value. Always busy so need to book but this ensures an enjoyable atmosphere. Laguna just launched an app which works well and offers some good app based discounts.

A really nice evening. Booking advised. They squeezed us in, and the place was packed solid soon after. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and made some great food recommendations. Food is served relatively quickly. We had chicken korma (pic with rice) and chicken tikka masala. Chicken was tender and nicely spiced.

A really brilliant hidden gem on the Maid Marian Way curry mile. Don't fall for the banality of the big bright monoliths, turn off the main road and visit this gem. Delicious food and very friendly staff, with very fair prices and a wide choice. Can't wait to go back.

Best Indian in Nottingham. Reasonably priced, perfect food and service is always excellent. So far I've had the lamb madras, lamb vindaloo and chicken Tika masala and they were all bang on, especially the masala.

Sent me the wrong meal. Arrived cold. Ordered as estimated delivery time 15 minutes but took 1 hour and 30. Hopeless

Great experience - we booked a table last minute and despite being busy, they found space for us. The staff were polite and friendly and made conversation. The food was incredible, super tasty - would definitely go back again!

I visited Laguna on a Saturday night, and despite them being busy, Laguna were extremely accommodating and made sure that we had a good table. Despite the staff being extremely rushed off their feet, they took the same to make conversation and talk about the restaurant and ensured great service throughout. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere is great for groups of people. I would recommend Laguna and it is quickly becoming my go-to for Indian in Nottingham.

As a Texan I've never had curry, but let me tell y'all The food was amazing! And the staff were welcoming and kind I'd definitely recommend and will be returning for more!

It's a little dated and more shabby than some of the other Indians close by, but that isn't a negative. It was a little more relaxed as a result. Food was delicious and price was good. The naan was the only thing that just ok as opposed to really good.

Food is generally good here I have had one mishap on the order when wipes were left in one of the curries , we have ordered again as they have been pretty good up until that order and have been good ever since .

Sunday night, dining on my own due to work. Really friendly welcome, food was lovely and the way they asked if everything was ok was a breath of fresh air. “Is another beer a good idea” just made me smile. Can’t recommend here highly enough!!

Good food but I have a complaint. The lady who brought our drinks was holding the tops of the glasses after dealing with money/payments. This is unhygienic and, to be honest, a bad habit. Sorry to moan but hopefully you will take on board some advice which will improve things for you.

I’ve been a Nottingham resident for a few years now and this is without a doubt the best curry restaurant in Nottingham. Great curries, great service and great prices. You can’t get better than this.

A classic gem where food is tasty but last time the chicken was hard and not soft and fresh like it used to be. The meat in the curry had a slight off smell which was off putting.

We came as a large group for a birthday. The food was exceptional, the service was amazing. My Indian in-laws come here regularly and they think the food is excellent. Im sure we will be returning many times and would recommend!

I went in for a friend's birthday celebration. The food was delicious - one of the best selections of curry I've ever had and the starter was definitely the best I've ever had! I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Set in the heart of Nottingham, this restaurant provides high quality North Indian cuisine with a service to match.

Really, really, REALLY great. Well priced, tasty, fresh food with big portions (being used to Southern-sized portions we over-ordered!) All the classic options without any pretentiousness; but what really makes this place is the service - the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful; we felt relaxed from the moment we walked in. One of the most enjoyable curries we've had anywhere in the UK (and we always seek out a curry), even though we almost had to be rolled out of the restaurant as we were so full! - I would almost consider another city-break to Nottingham just to go to Laguna again. I hugely recommend.

An excellent discovery in the centre of Nottingham. Been there twice already and the service is too class and very friendly. Food is really good too. The pickle accompanying the starters is fabulous, so much so we even managed to do a little take away of the pickle alone!

As always, Great food and Great Service form a brilliant team.
