Only had a few starter bits and they were horrible Keema rice was dripping with oil/grease and made us feel sick Both naan breads had no flavour at all and we're very doughy The cheese naan bread didn't have any cheese at all on the one side The mint and chutney sauce were too sweet The only thing decent was the kebab meat and even that was just ok Worst Indian food I've ever had

Had takeaway from here over past many years. Aways great service and advice from staff regarding mild and hot options to try something new. Lots of meat in dishes Delivery on time. See you again !

I ordered food from this shop on 01/08/2024 at 9:30 PM. Upon opening, the food had a strong, unpleasant smell and was completely inedible. We immediately contacted the shop to inform them about the unsafe food, but the shop representative denied our claim and showed no interest in resolving the issue. This experience highlights the poor food hygiene and terrible customer service at this establishment. We were really disappointed and felt it was a complete waste of money and time. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Just placed an order for delivery, 1chicken madras and 1 lamb jalfrezi, Nan bread and onion bajhi, £26:15 later it arrived with no rice, queried it with the shop and realised I had forgotten to order the rice, that would have been £8 on top, far too expensive for what we got, sad to say we won’t be back!

We get a takeaway from here every month and absolutely love it! Always very pleasant and quick service. Lovely place to go.

We ordered online. Delivery took longer than stated - we ordered very 1800 early on a Saturday evening. We ordered from Chutney Corner again after a first really good experience where we collected food ourselves. For the first time ever I had very tough chewy lamb in a saag. Lamb Phalok was the dish. Everything else was really good and it was just the chewy lamb in the phalok that wasn't nice. I will have to recook the lamb before eating the dish.

Awful meal and poor customer service. Ordered a meal for the whole family for a special treat and the whole meal was greasy, the chicken was stringy and the vegetarian dish contained hardly any vegetables other than onions. The restaurant didn’t care and told us it was tough which was very disappointing. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Tikka starter oily and chicken hard to part from masses of onions chicken balti main meal again very thick and oily gravy and chicken chewy. Partners vedge balti mostly onions. meals £50 not good experience.

Ordered online a had an awful meal. Poppadoms were all broken. The chicken Tiikka starter was dry and tasteless. Onion Bhajais were tasteless and oily. Would not recommend.

One of the best curries we've eaten. The standard has increased 200% from when we've ordered many years ago. Decided to change from our regular take away, so glad we did. Please don't change your chef, as the curries were perfect. We made a request to add naga pickle to the curries, which was added without question. Thank you for making our evening, so enjoyable. 11 out of 10. We will definitely ordering again. Thank you Chutney corner.

Great authentic flavours at reasonable prices

My curry was a good standard. Two other family members said it was the best curry they had in ages. Quick service.

This used to be my favourite place for a takeaway ,but yesterday (Mother’s Day) I had a birani The veg curry was stone cold as if it had just been taken out of the freezer, also they call it veg it had 3 large pieces of potatoes and about 3 peas, the rest was sauce ,also the portion has decreased.won’t be going back .not sure if they have changed magerment.

We ordered 2 different orders for delivery to the same address, but only one order arrived and when I called they said they sent both orders out in 2 different cars. Service is rubbish and they always stop and start taking the order in the phone doing other things. Won’t be using them again. No idea about customer service at all

Food was that tasty I forgot to photograph it the guys hooked me up with onion fried rice chicken Madras mix kebab Peshawari naan bread did not disappoint food was hot chicken was tender rice was cooked to perfection very well priced and very welcoming go see the guys your missing out

Arrived hot and earlier than expected which was great. The mixed grill was lovely apart from the pork which was tough as old boots. Perhaps try something without pork in it.

I was working in the area so never been before. Very nice tasty food at reasonable prices, decided to have some thing i have never tried before so went for i think it was a thali garlic wow was amazing I would recomend this place

Three times in a row now they've messed up our order and this time I had specified can they make sure we actually get garlic naan as that is what we've ordered and this time one plain and one god knows what it was turned up! Great food but three times in a row of messing up naan bread is too much!

Previous experience good but very poor customer service following items ordered and paid for missing! Offered the option of collecting missing items or telephoning an 0800 number to claim repayment! Unable to credit to account despite being a customer for many years! Very disappointed. Won’t be returning.

I was disappointed with the last curry from here as the order was wrong but I though I’d try again and phoned to place an order and they put the phone down half way through the conversation kept ringing but wouldn’t answer although I was prepared to wait for delivery - rang Kashmir ordered placed and I’m sure the curry will be better .... lesson learned

Have been using this takeaway for a very long time and have never been disappointed. We order on a weekly basis. Just of late, the past few weeks, there has been a noticeable difference with the food and not for the better. Extremely oily and watery sauces with the curries. New chef possibly??? Have given the benefit of the doubt for several weeks now but this weekends food was worse than ever. We will not be returning again. Had a better curry from the chippy! Sort it out Chutney Corner. Word of mouth travels.

Ordered at 18.15 delivery would be 19.15. Rang the restaurant at 19.30 and told it was on its way would be 10 minutes. Nothing arrived and got a website update with delivery time 20.05. It eventually arrived at nearly 20.15. A 2 hour service from ordering to delivery. I don't like being lied to so I wont be using this restaurant again. In reply to your message. You have obviously got me mixed up with another customer who complained as I only rang once and my complaint was about the 2 hour time from ordering to delivery and being told it was on it's way and would be 10 minutes when clearly it was not on it's way. I did not mention anything about the food. I do not live in an alley way and my contact details are correct. Suggest you look at your customer service skilks!!!....

Firstly, I would like to bring the attention to what is dishing up in chutney corner in the last few weeks, not last month, not last year, its what their doing now!! October 2020. Straight to the point, the food is cooked, prepared and presented no better then professionals ranking, the flavouring is perfect, a trained eye can tell by looking at the curry whether it has depth or not, the aroma and the fragrance speak for it self before tastings approval, all food critics will tell you chicken, lamb and prawns all have their own procedure of cooking times and heating methods, these guys have mastered those levels and every dish is upto professional level. Very tasty, very professional.Well done guys.The respective owner over looks all dishes before it leaves the premises.

Worst curry I've ever had, chicken was chewy, the rice had 3 unexpected prawns in it, and the naan was under cooked and doughy. We phoned up and complained and they were apologetic and offered a free meal next time we order but the damage is done and I will not be going back. As a big curry lover I have tasted currys from all over the uk and this has got to be the worst one I've ever tried.

Good food just a real shame it wasn’t what we ordered . Disappointing customer service as when we called them to say we think we may have someone else’s order they just blamed us for putting in the wrong order . Such a shame as been happy with the food & the service in the past & had they been a little more helpful I would have come back but because of there response I doubt I will .

Korma an Tikka tasted the same, both very sweet and mint sauce doesn't taste like mint sauce

In this difficult times of lockdown it is good to find a business that is doing it's bit to help people through the covid nightmare. We are trying to resrict our shopping trips to once a week and shopping late to avoid the queues. So on Wednesday with a shopping trip to Aldi we found that Chutney Corner was open for takeaway's. This is the start to the problem by finding out that they have a variety of prices. On Just Eat they are cheaper than in store. Then to confuse the issue even more they are offering different discounts. Then to add even more confusion they are charging more in store on the basis that they have increased the price, but have not changed the website. So not a good start. The order, when we got home, was wrong. The taste was poor and the ingrediantes leave a lot to be desired. Sorry, but this will be our first and last visit.

Just finished a lovely take out meal from Chutney Corner. Piping hot and delicious meal for two. Very good portions and great value. Will be ordering again as online ordering was so easy and food arrived within the stated 45 minutes, plus the 15% 'Thursday' discount makes it even better. Have ordered from Chutney Corner several times over years .Tonight had delivery that had 1 item missing , was cold and the Mixed grill (on reflection poor choice) was just a cold over cooked very oily mess.

There is an easy to use website to order on if you want, they take orders over the phone or in person. Then collect, they also deliver, there are a quite a few vegetable options which were very nice, as were the vegetable side orders, I was told by other customers its all good. So all in all if your staying in the area and fancy a good indian I would recommend Chutney Corner.

I ordered the Ceylon Lamb and Naan bread. They were beautifully prepared and presented. The Diet Coke was missing from the delivery, so I called into the restaurant. The guy who answered was friendly and apologetic, and my drink was delivered soon afterwards. The delivery guy was also as pleasant and apologetic. Even with the error I will still give my experience 5 stars, and would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were not impressed by the quality of the food. One dish was so over spiced we had to return it for a refund as we did'nt want to eat it

Avoid! Had a bad one from here ages ago but a friend said no it’s changed hands try it again. It was even worse than before. Ordered a lazy mid week dinner. Yuk! Cold, greasy and poppadoms missing. Too tired to wait for driver to come back collect and bring fresh, took an hour already, so just rang in. Got missing poppadoms and bhajis refunded (they were inedible). A definite no go.

Just experienced the worst vegetable balti I have ever had. The curry was very mild not like a balti should be.Should have been called an onion curry. As mainly onion, loads of onion. Not soft onion either, very little other vegetables.2 small cube carrot,2 pieces of tiny mushroom and half of a small potato. My partners chicken balti was very poor too. The naans were gooey on the edges and poor quality. Only gave 2 stars because delivery was quicker than stated by 15 minutes. Ordered via Just Eat. Sorry Chutney Corner you have lost our business. Never again 😥

I tried this takeaway last night. It was probably the worst curry I have ever had. The chicken was hard not rubbery hard. The curry had no spice at all it was like a tin of soup poured over hard chicken and rice.

I often have Takeaway here and it is always very quickly delivered and to a good standard. All the food is cooked well and always hot on delivery

We ordered from here on the Just Eat App while visiting friends in Christchurch near Bournemouth.

We are a mile or two away by road and its so nice to know we can book online and have an amazing night of Indian food within half an hour or so. The last one at our new address was last night. I had a lamb Vindaloo, there was a chicken tikka kalai and a king prawn dish in a sweet coconut sauce. We also had naan and a mushroom dish and one with spicy chickpeas. All were fantastic, the naan was fresh and chewy, the vindaloo was hot and had that proper Vindaloo touch of sourness too, well done. The kicker for me was the king prawn dish, unbelievable!!! Everything was piping hot and super tasty. We dont do it often but I am so glad they are there for when we do!!!!

This is the first time that I have ordered from here after so many recommendations from family and friends. I am so pleased I did. I have never had a lamb Biriani where the lamb falls apart in your mouth. Normally it’s hard and needs a lot of chewing but this one was just gorgeous. Best one I have ever had. I will definitely be ordering from here again and would highly recommend them to anybody.

Appreciate it was a busy night but we ordered well in advance. They turned phones off so couldn’t even contact them to know where food was. Shame as food very good.

After waiting over an hour After the app said delivered and with constant un-answered calls to the restaurant we gave up. So no idea how good or bad the food is.

While the food was tasty, there was a lot of excess water separating out from the sauce, my rice was literally swimming, the food was ok though so all in all i would rate it mediocre at best, but personally i haven't found a Indian Takeaway that i wanted to order from a second time and just tend to cook my own...

Genuinely had better Tikka Masala ready meals. Do not bother with currys here, watery bland for the 2nd time. Treat yourself to a good Masala and go Kashmir instead. Naan bread was okay bit dry and overall quality was poor on all dishes ordered.

Chutney Corner provides a large selection of Indian cuisine. I have tried around ten different main courses, and never been dissatisfied with quality or portion size. The food is beautiful to look at, and even better to taste. Prices are reasonable, and delivery time or incorrect orders have never been an issues. I wouldn't change a thing.

Having been recommended by locals we gave chutney corner a try last weekend. They delivered us on time and were genuine in hoping we enjoyed our experience with their food. Ordered a take away for me and my friends. Order was going to be 40 minutes which was fine an hour and 20 mins later we called them and was told our food was going to be another 15. Food turned up all warm all clearly labelled as we’ve a veggie so was clear what was what. Chicken korma was 80% coconut bits and was really sickly. Now that may be your proper type of chicken korma but not how I usually have it and it made me feel sick. The chips were undercooked perfect for how I like them but my friends disagreed. Overall, I probably wouldn’t eat here again but might suit other people’s preferences.
