Food arrived hot and portion sizes was great. Rly good food and good value. Order was slightly late but that could be the fault of uber eats’s timing estimation. Would recommend.

Best Indian I have ever had, so tasty and so much of it! Rice was beautiful and so was the curry. Popadoms cooked to perfection. My go to place for an Indian from now on. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

The Homestyle Chicken Curry was amazing and the service was great! Stopped by for lunch and it was well worth it. If you are in Bath it’s worth the walk over the river!

Popped in this takeaway a few days after visiting a different Indian establishment nearby (visiting the area on business). Great service, friendly and chatty, and some brilliant food at a good price (much more affordable than other places nearby). Special thanks to, I think it's Thea,? who was super friendly and was very happy to chat about Harry Potter whilst I waited. All the best with the books!!

Ordered food and then was instantly delayed, waited just over an hour for average flavourless food. Naan was like cardboard, food lacked seasoning and tasted cheap and flavourless. Thought I would try this place due to good ratings but there are way better options in Bath, won’t try again.

Good Indian takeaway. Easy online or telephone ordering. Friendly staff. It is great to be able to request hotter versions of dishes, especially for vegetarian options which are often far too mild in other restaurants. Happy to have found this tasty local.

In Bath for the weekend with family. We all fancied an Indian takeaway on the Saturday evening. Ruposhi was 2 mins walk from where we were staying so we thought why not. Plenty of reviews saying this was the best in Bath. Well as I've said if this is the best then the rest must be truly awful. 2 hour wait for food, which even on a Saturday evening is unacceptable (bear in mind we were collecting not waiting for a delivery). Was it worth the wait? Definitely not. Burnt and tasteless naan breads and the rest was pretty lacklustre. These guys need to come up to Birmingham to see how it's done properly.

Food ok, but have to mark them down as we didn't get everything we ordered. They admitted their mistake and offered to sort a refund, but never did, despite two call backs. We've used them on and off for years and they've always not been great at delivering what you order, but we've had enough now. Won't be back again.

Ordered a can of Rio but did not receive it. Ordered 2 pilau rice and did not receive it, received fried rice instead which was not nice.

On just eat app it said delivery time 45-60 min....once order was placed and money tsken delivery time immediately changed to 80- 95 min...food was eventually delivered 1hour 45 min after ordering

Amazing! 😍 I would eat here every day, delicious. Very friendly as well, I recommend to everyone. For a mild dish we had: Chicken Tikka Makhani. For slightly spicy we had: Lamb Tikka Rezala. The special Peshawari was a treat.

Visiting Bath with my family, we called in to pick up a takeaway on the way to ur Airbnb. The food reviews on here overrode my reservations regarding the poor standard of the ordering and waiting area. We ordered a selection of dishes and we were all very disappointed with the content and quality of the food. The dishes were watery with very little flavour and no vegetables. Two of us ordered chicken tikka balti and were give given just tough chicken. The lamb dishes also had tough meat. I cannot for the life of me understand the rating for this takeaway.

Came here for a takeaway whilst staying at travelodge. Normally indian takeaway food can be weak and watered down in taste but this place isn't. Good currys, naan and egg fried rice. Highly recommended. Good and accomadating service too. Ignore the bad reviews of this place as I feel that they are an unfair reflection of this independent takeaway. Keep up the good standard.

Order from here very often, always high quality. Last night ordered 5 meals worth of dishes and sides, and this did not affect the quality. Arrived in the time given, all dishes hot and fresh. Same great taste as always, and reasonably priced for the area. They never let you down

Rainy Sunday thought I’d grab some food and watch telly for the evening! Big mistake after tasting it I put it in the food waste where it belonged

Started out amazing food then for some reason the food and taste quality dropped on my later orders. Often very greasy and without flavour. Also very disappointed that you've raised the food for one bundle from £14 immediately to £17. That's a big jump! We're already in a cost of living crises and don't see why we're being forced now by our local takeaways when we want to spend our hard earned cash on a nice bit of food and we're subject to further massive percentage increases. Any opportunity to generate more revenue and all businesses are on the bandwagon. For those reasons I think a 3 star is appropriate.

Decent food, high delivery fee and long time taken though

Delivery was to time. Food very old fashioned - way too much ghee and sauces very brown and muddy. In 40 years a curryholic, never have I had to pay 70p extra to make a curry hot. And it wasn't hot - not remotely. All dishes (prawn puree, methi paneer, chicken jalfrezi, mushroom bhaji) were pretty bland. It seems the more modern Indian food we have been used to in London just doesn't exist in Bath, which is a shame. Curries do not all have to be brown, and swimming in ghee. That went out in the 80s.

Had a family meal last night, apart from a little hicup which was sorted out very quickly everything was fine and the food was absolutly georgous...thankyou will definatly be back!!!...

I would rather say is English style Indian food… too sweet for me as an Indian food, even though I mentioned ‘no sweet, but spicy’.

Last time I ordered, the food was not to the same authentic standard as usual but my order from 16 December was the best Indian food I have eaten in the UK so far. Absolutely nailed it. Zak Paneer. Extra hot Jahlfrezi. Paratha. Okra. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you. I also like that they don't work with Deliveroo vultures. Proper family business.

I ordered the sag paneer and the lamb dansak. Both were superb. The dishes had such a wonderful depth of flavour, that which I find is missing in a lot of other Indian takeaways. So pleased to have found this place and wouls definitely recommend if you haven't tried already.

Having moved to Bath 11 months ago I have finally found an Indian restaurant which delivers excellent food! Just had a delicious takeaway and I offer my thanks to the chef and the staff.

We had a takeaway from here. The service was a bit slow, it took two hours to be delivered when we were told less and also had to call to find out where it was. The food however was delicious and good value.

Absolutely superb and I echo the other comments. By far the best Indian food I've ever had! Food is fresh with a great depth of flavour and not too oily which is something I've found really off putting with other Indian's that I've had in the past.

Tried to get a meal and it was scheduled for 1 - 1.5 hours on a sunday, so I cancelled. 2 hours later the food turned up whilst I was in the bath. When I said OK I will take it the delivery guy said no as he will have to pay for it. I suspect i will and this is a con. So I did not get the food and will have to fight to get my money back. If I had been given the food (2 hours later I would have paid for it as I had not eaten). But when I tried to have the food they said that they would have to pay for it, but I am still concerned I will end up paying for it, so I let them have it back. I obviously should have taken the food as I suspect I will still have to pay for it. They forced me into handing the food back, but why would they go to the effort. What an absolute shower and what a con, please do not use this restaurant. I am sure that they have another story but I ordered food and was told it would take hours, then tried to cancel, then when was forced out of the bath hours later and explained the position, they would not allow me to have the food and I suspect I will still have to pay for everything. Don't use a company/restaurant like this it all appears to be a con.

Absolutely hands down the best Tikka masala I've ever had in my life perfect to take back to the travel lodge as their food is horrible. Definitely be going again next time I visit bath 👍🏼👍🏼

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area and is such good value too for the quality of food, which is absolutely delicious. We have tried many Indian restaurants over the years and the Ruposhi comes out tops. We are vegetarian and there is always plenty of choice as well as many meat dishes, which I am told are equally as good. Great service too, and we always feel very welcome each time we come to the restaurant. The Ruposhi was closed during 2021 lockdown and was very much missed. Its good to be back there again enjoying the food.

Absolutely amazing curries, naan and rice. I tried lamb balti and bhuna balti. The meat was cooked to perfection, so tender and tasty. The curry was well seasoned. I usually add extra salt to my food but did not have to this time. It took 55 minutes to arrive but I live on the other side of Bath and I appreciate they deliver to my area too so not complaining. I will definitely order from here again!

Unassuming little takeaway in Widcombe. Ordered a variety of food, all of which was piping hot even after transporting it home. Generous portions of all food, including some free poppadoms which were much appreciated. The Pasanda sauce was lovely. Mild but full of flavour. However the king prawns in it were overcooked and rather rubbery which was a disappointment when everything else was so tasty. Will be back but might avoid the prawns next time.

We have been getting takeaways for 25 yrs from this place , and as suggested it is not a restaurant, purely take away and in my opinion the best in Bath , and frankly any where else I try !! Shall ordering yet again this weekend .

The Ruposhi Restaurant Take Away is without question the best Indian eating experience outside Brick Lane in Whitechapel. The food is excellent old fashioned taylored to the individual. Mr Hussain and son Iqubal with two daughters and master chef Muhammad (Uncle) opening in 1988, the place has a country wide reputation and is busy! But very efficient. One is greeted in very friendly manner and the food is outstanding.

The Ruposhi Restaurant (Take Away only but one wouldn’t know it): the best Indian food you will experience outside of Brick Lane in Whitechapel. Run by (‘Professor’) with his son Iqbal and Juber since 1988 a wonderfully friendly greeting, speedy service and outstanding food. Very busy because of county wide demand. Outstanding.

The Ruposhi, hands down. without doubt the best curry takeaway in Bath, with the most friendly staff. Curries are of excellent restaurant standards so there are slightly cheeper elsewhere but none better.

There are lots of reviews posted about Indian food takeaways that bear no resemblance to reality. The Ruposhi is the exeption and it is exeptional. This is easily the finest indian food available in Bath. Always delicious, I've been eating fine Ruposhi food for decades. A lovely family business.

I'm pretty certain we've been using this takeaway for over 30 years. Chefs come and go, but there is rarely a blip in the quality. We tend to order online, then collect, so we have not tried the delivery service. They have reopened during the corvid-19 pandemic, albeit without the fish curry and bhuna (my favourites). Alongside the food I can also recommend their curry sauces (Korma, curry or Madras). They are a great way of using up Sunday lunch leftovers!

I'm guilty of not normally leaving a review after having a nice meal. But today I had to get off my back side and say something. Ordered a £45.00 meal for the family and as always we have not been disappointed. Iqubal and Juber have really got this place on lockdown. Top service and fantastic food. Highly recommend Ps. very disappointed to be honest, particularly after reading all the great reviews. The takeaway arrived 15 minutes late, the driver explained he had another delivery the other side of Bath! So the takeaway was not even warm, the naan & onion bhaji were burnt as well so not the best first experience.

Sunday ordered 2 lamb bhunas 1 chicken kema 2 pilau rice 1 keema naan 2 onion bajis. Order arrived at 22.50. The bhunas were cold and runny a pashmari naan 2 very broken bajis arrived not at keema naan. I called them oh nothing we can do no driver will sort it when you come again wont be I am not impressed I will not use them.ever again really poor service from what is an established indian takeaway sadly southdown balti was closed never order a curry on Sunday

Fuimos a eso de las 6. 30 un sábado por la noche, medio vacío. Estuvo parado en la puerta por unos 10 minutos, durante este tiempo, una pareja sentada en una mesa dijo que habían estado sentados durante 15 minutos y nadie se acercó a ellos. Finalmente, alguien vino a nosotros y nos dijo que no tenían mesas, a pesar de que estaba medio vacío. Le di a este restaurante el beneficio de la duda y salí de mi camino fuera de la ciudad para venir a este lugar y lo arruinaron. . . . sin darles una segunda oportunidad.

A disappointing curry, it was swimming in oil, the naan bread was terrible and the biryani tasteless. I certainly won't be going back! The reason I've given 2 stars is that the staff were very friendly and helpful otherwise it would have been a one.

I have been using the Ruposhi since 1989. Over the years it has had various different people working there. It has been some bad periods when the food was terrible. However, at the moment it is in great hands. The quality of the food is good with very friendly staff. The Tikka Special curries are highly recommended. I hope they keep it up.

Ambos curries eran deliciosos, (madras y naga) sabían muy frescos, el pollo tierno y el curry no eran grasosos. Poppadoms gratis fueron un gran toque. Se solicita fácilmente en línea a través del sitio web y se entrega antes de lo esperado. Ojalá tuviéramos esta comida para llevar en casa. Muy recomendable.

We are staying at the Travelodge which is literally less than 4 minutes walk. Ordered and collected - it was an amazing curry , Really really nice Would 100 per ent recommend this take away considering how we all get used to our locals - this was right up there with some of the best curries I have had. Consistently great food and cheerful staff

My wife and I had an excellent experience a few days ago, when we tried Ruposhi for the first time. We have tried various Indian delivery/takeways from across Bath (we live near Batheaston) and Ruposhi's was by far the best in term of both the quality and quantity of food. Also, it was excellent value for money and fast delivery, for Saturday evening. We will definitely try Ruposhi again. We definitely recommend them. Well done guys!
