amazing food and so nice to go to a restaurant where all the food is vegetarian, i was spoiled for choice. ordered the thali which took a while to arrive (1.5hr after ordering) so may be wise to order this if you have plenty of time. but i am sure the other main dishes would arrive quicker. also the kale onion bhaji is one of the best things i’ve tasted!!!!

I went to the restaurant with a few of my friends on my trip to Bath. It was such a great experience. We absolutely loved every bit of our food and the service was top notch. Will definitely come back again next time I'm in town.

Visited this resturant during our easter saturday weekend. We waited over; 15 mins for someone to take our order and45 mins for our startet. Likwise, diners who came im after us also experienced unacceptable waiting periods. Not sure what the problem is as there were more than 5 waiters/waitresses. When our food eventually arrived without us having to hint ref the wait, they commented on this fact Starter: full of salt Mains: tatse like the starter and still full of salt We told the waiteress who.offeref us some yoghurt and said that noneone else had complained about the salt issue. We told the manager and he said the same and went into a history talk of how many of these dishes they serve without complanints Some ppl dont like to be honest wheb they reply to; how was your food?...

This spot is in a great location in Bath, really close to the Abbey and Roman Baths. The space inside is done out lovely, and there's a really a nice view out to the river from the windows. The service and atmosphere were great, staff were so nice and so helpful. And the food was absolutely fantastic!!!! The saag paneer especially, and the halwa were incredible - absolutely delicious.

It was absolute delight dining at this place. We opted for the 2 thalis they had on, and each item on both were good. The people here are warm and nice. It's a pure veg, with good taste. It's right next to Abey and bath. Only problem is , you have to take stairs, might be hard for someone

Amazing Indian food with a great view of the Bath Abbey. Visited them 3 times in the span of 2 days coz the food was really good. Thali was delicious (curries were just amazing!), dosa was good, koftas were mellow and creamy and the samosa chat as a starter tasted really good as well. Be mindful that it can get crowded on weekends in the afternoon and evening, so reserve a table in advance. There might only be 3-4 people to serve 30-40 visitors and it ain’t a fast food joint, so kindly be patient. They were extremely kind and respectful, especially Manohar! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for Indian food in Bath and I will visit again for sure!

Their service was horrible. We went there yesterday and had a beautiful view sitting next to the window. The food was amazing. Of course we had to wait half an hour ahah.

Absolutely amazing food—truly, hats off to the chef. Every dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity. But the service? Oh, next level. If you’ve ever wanted to feel invisible, disrespected, or like a burden for simply being a paying customer, this place will not disappoint. The staff have perfected the “why are you even here?” attitude, and the lady incharge? A walking, talking reminder that arrogance is still alive and well. Hospitality clearly took an early retirement here. So yes, 10/10 for food… and a solid 0/10 for attitude. Go with low expectations for human interaction, and you’ll love it.

I don’t recommend the biryani at all Jackfruit can be a more tasteful alternative of most chicken lovers But at the moment it’s just taste like plain jackfruit in rice need more spices before you cook in dum style Otherwise Grand thali was awesome tasty 🤤 and service was also good Place can be more cleaner

Absolutely incredible dining experience! We chose a variety of dishes which were all fresh and vibrant. The service was excellent too. Really appreciated the separate vegan menu with plenty of choice, and the seating right next to the abbey. Would love to come back again.

This place is a solid 10/10. The members working here are amazing, sweet and very welcoming. The food is great, good taste, maintained hygiene. Food menu has a lot of options. The owner of the restaurant is super sweet and considers your requests if you have any special one regarding food. A must visit place if you love Indian food. Taste is also very very nice. One of the best Indian restaurants i went in UK. It is pure vegetarian and actually has the taste as in India. Naan is Tandoor cooked and the dishes are as what you would expect in India.

Felt truly authentic. I asked for a window seat to overlook the Abbey when booking, and they gave us the best 2 seats in the restaurant. Staff explained every dish to us, its ingredients and flavours with real passion and interest. I didn't miss the meat at all, as everything was so flavoursome. A real find.

Vegetarian Indian. First time for everything. A wide selection of different dishes, from your classic “British” Indian and authentic Indian. Impressive when you consider its app vegetarian. I had the mushroom masala, tasted much like you would expect, with an informed heat. The mushrooms gave the dish the “meaty” texture. Rice was delicious. Really loved the popadom, already broken in nice shards. Plenty of them which is a bonus. We all enjoyed them. Dipping sauces were the usual trio. The one thing that did let it down was the decor. A bit drab, particularly when you have those stunning views out the window. It contrasts. Hard. Not worth taking a star off though.

Delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices

Purely by chance we visited this lovely restaurant after visiting the thermal baths. Delightful meal in a cosy dining room that you couldn’t envisage at street level! Warm welcome and great service. The waiter made sure our Tandoori shared plate came out before the shared Thali so as to make sure all food was eaten hot. A little thought made a big difference. Excellent dishes and we will visit again when we come back to Bath!

As a restaurant owner myself, I understand how challenging it can be to maintain high standards, consistency, and the right atmosphere. But kudos to the owner and the management team at this Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and had that comforting 'home-cooked' feel. Vegetarian and vegan delights, absolutely recommend this place. The mango lassi is divine, the decor is a winner overlooking the abbey, the staff are always lovely and service is prompt. There’s a glorious taster thali menu but there’s complete sense in coming back regularly and eating your way around the menu.

I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by the appalling experience I had at this restaurant. From the moment I interacted with the staff, it was clear that respect and professionalism were completely absent. The person in charge was shockingly rude, openly racist, and judgemental, making me feel humiliated and unwelcome. Their behavior was so offensive that we left without even taking our meal. This kind of disgraceful treatment has no place in any business, especially one that serves the public.No one should have to endure such disrespect and discrimination.

I was looking forward to my visit here, just craving some Indian home food but was left utterly disappointed. I was waiting at the counter to be sat when one of the staff asked me to sit on a table, not even 2 mins later another staff member comes up to me and in the most rude tone says “we have explicitly written on the door to wait to be seated.” You think anyone would want to continue eating after such a welcome? Polite communication can go a long way.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. The woman who working there was (seems like manager/incharge) incredibly rude and unprofessional. Not only was she dismissive and unhelpful, but her behavior also seemed to be racially charged, which made the situation even more uncomfortable.we returned immediately even did not want to have food,It’s unacceptable for anyone to be treated this way, take this seriously to ensure future customers don’t have the same negative experience

The place is highly recommended for vegetarian food, you get good chats, the dishes can be made as per your required spice levels, highly recommended dishes would be daal makhani, nan, kulcha, ajar halwa, dahi puri, fresh idli, freshly squeezed juices.

We have been eating here since the restaurant opened and because we don't live in Bath, we always worry that standards might slip when we visit. No need to worry. Dosas still the best outside of London and starters outstanding (samosas and chaats). Service friendly and interested in customers. Wine list is also good, which isn't usually a given. Wonderful to see the restaurant thriving and long may it do so. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Had a bad experience with the restaurant staff. Food was a scam with four empty hollows as a dahi puri. The staff was more attentive and sweet towards other customers and rude to our fellow Indians. Left the place halfway as there’s no point in paying money to get a bad experience.

You do live up to your name guys! You literally take us back to home soil with your authentic INDIAN food and you always TEMPT us to make that hour long drive just to satistfy the craving called ‘Bath Indian temptation food’. Thanks to all of you for the great work you are doing. There is no visitor to our home who has left the region without being dragged to your restaurant for a meal and thankfully nobody has gone back disappointed. The thali is a must try and so is just about everything else. The dahi puri was a shocking fiasco on one occasion but the lovely managers were quick to correct it. Ambience is not to my particular liking and defo needs a huge upgrade but I force myself to disregard that. I personally find the food a bit on the expensive side compared to the quantity but the 5 stars inspite of the above downsides says it all isn’t it :) Updates : kudos to Indian Temptation for allowing to share the ‘thali’ letting us enjoy our food without worrying about overeating or food wastage. Keep it up 👍

Food is always good, but the takeaway service through Deliveroo and Uber is beyond awful. Every time we order, there is some kind of problem. Frequently, entire dishes from the orders are missing, and often deliveries take well over an hour.

Best Indian food im born in England and don’t usually like Indian food but the food was amazing and it tasted really good. Also the service was great everyone was very eager to help me with anything. Definitely worth a try and I’ll be back again

Tuvimos una excelente comida en este encantador restaurante, que casi no fuimos ya que no se puede ver en desde la calle (el restaurante está a un par de tramos de escaleras). Sin embargo, nos alegramos de haber hecho el esfuerzo de echar un vistazo. Cada plato estaba perfectamente cocinado y generoso en tamaño de porción. Sumado a la vista encantadora de la Abadía desde la ventana, el ambiente en el interior era muy agradable. El personal era amable y el servicio era oportuno. Un gran lugar para los vegetarianos.

The opening hours in Google map different when we arrive. We spend 20 minutes walking, and then we find it close !

Loved it, the food was excellent and the service was really good despite it being in the center of town in a relatively touristy spot. Especially loved the dosa. One recommendation for the ownership is that American tourists use the Yelp app more than google reviews, so you might want to set up a Yelp page to capture their reviews too (assuming you want more American tourists to go)

Incredible Indian food that matches the best you would get in India. We had the lemon rice, paratha, chana masala, mushroom curry and kale & onion bhaji, all of which were simply delicious. I’m vegan and they were very happy to make us a vegan paratha - but my partner is a meat eater and he thought it was the best Indian food he’d had in the UK. Highly recommend.

A vegetarian rarity. I’m a carnivore but enjoyed my veggie curry very much. The popadom chutney was a bit weak and sparse. Wine and beer prices higher than you’d expect. Waiters very polite. Toilet experience not pleasant.

A warm welcome from the staff. We ordered the kale and onion barjees among other things. They were excellent. The cashew curry and the dhal were also great. Delicious food, nice people and value for money. We walked out and immediately recommended it to the family looking at the outside menu.
