Voujon in Corby

Normally use Voujon for takeaways but we decided to sit in for a change. Lots of space inside and a couple of nooks for those seeking some privacy. It was quiet on the night we went but it can get busy so consider booking a table if you are planning to visit. Food is lovely and tasty and this is one of the better Indian restaurants in the town - we are yet to have anything that wasn't delicious and hot. We will definitely use Voujon again (for takeaways) and we will certainly sit in again in the future.

Was visiting Corby with friends for a concert and got a meal here. Everything first rate from poppadoms onwards. Great food and excellent service. Highly recommended if you are in town.

Brilliant service, lovely food and the waiters are very friendly and obliging! Emon was great and Ali was lovely who gave me a complimentary drink as it was my birthday :)

We have been to Voujon a couple of times in the last few weeks and it has been without fault every single time. The waiters all go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you want and need and the food is 10/10 quality and the taste is amazing. The service is very quick and efficient and the we honestly could not fault this. We will definitely be visiting again and this is now our new regular in Corby. Thanks!

Not sure whats happening here , this has been my first choice for indian for some time but just recently my takeaway orders has contained an excessive amount of water spoiling the meal. The photo attached is after i strained it in the kitchen.

Nice and informal and through week not busy. My favourite is the chicken tandoori. The chilli Nan is great.

My partner and I visited the Voujon restaurant for a meal on 29th Aug 2023. Never having been here before we thought we'd give it a try. Booked a table for two at 17.30 and on arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and taken to our table. Looking around there was only one other table of diners. We ordered our drinks and a couple of poppadom's to start off with, then ordered our main meal. The service and food here was excellent. By the time we left, the restaurant was practically full of customers at 19.30 on a Tue evening. We will be definitely using Voujon in Corby on a semi regular basis. Highly recommended. Although this restaurant did not look too inviting from the outside the staff were great, very friendly and helpful. What was so wonderful was that all the food was cooked from fresh ingredients and was not oily in anyway. It was an extremely tasty and enjoyable meal and well presented. The best Indian food we have tasted in a very long time and as my husband was a chef, that is praise indeed!

We have takeaways from here every week & occasionally sit in for a meal. Staff are so friendly, family owned and ran. Food is always great & we are really looked after. We haven’t found another Indian who matches.

I eat in Voujon regularly, but had a takeaway Saturday 4 March and it was awful both Curries tasteless more water based than normal creamy consistency. We also had onion bhajis which were more like rock cakes. Such a disappointment for a lovely restaurant.

The best chicken and lamb tikka. So moist and flavoursome. Voujon mixed masala also very tasty. Prompt service, polite staff. Definitely worth a visit.

When I walked in to the restaurant I was thinking this is not gonna be great.. The interior is pretty standard but we gave it a go. What a great decision that was, the food was amazing , the staff were friendly but didn't pester or hover.. We had 4 different meals and everyone agreed that the food was outstanding Chicken cooked well , spices just right and the sides were all perfect. Ali was friendly and if this restaurant was in my home town, it would be my new favourite 😍. Price was fair , 4 meals , Poppadoms , pickle tray , a few breads and 2 rounds of drinks all for under £90 Bargain

Went for meal yesterday found the food to be over priced and bland ordered a lamb makhani and chicken karaih the makhani tasted horrible the lamb pieces were strips of hard stale chewy well do not think it was even lamb like tough leather also the dishes lacked meat and small parties also ordered a bombay also three potatoes in dish very bland rice very stodgy only thing ok was nan bread and keema nan even charged for poppadoms thought they were complimentary as didvnot order but still charge 90 pence each and 3 pounds for pickles bill came to over priced 60 pounds will not be attending again AVOID

The prawn starter was not what we were expecting and it was awful, lamb meat in the curry wasn’t good quality and it was mostly sauce, non of the good was very warm either. I was pretty disappointed as I’d been looking forward to it all day, I could have made better at home.

Still not received. Can't review the food as we don't have any.

Although delivered on time the food was cold and some bits borderline inedible.

Our takeaway from Voujon was absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault it one bit. All of it tasted amazing. Will definitely be ordering again.

We ordered from Voujon after having a lovely meal at the restaurant last weekend. We are really disappointed with the delay in delivery. Our order took more than 2 hours to arrive (placed the order at 17:25 it arrived at half past 7). We were told by just eat delivery would be 18:35-18:55. I called the restaurant at 19:03 to ask where our order was and was told it was just leaving the restaurant, considering it took another 27 minutes to arrive we are guessing that it hadn't even been cooked at that point. When our food eventually arrived it was delicious however, I doubt we will use the restaurant again because of how long orders take to arrive.

Forgot my naan bread then couldn’t redeliver so had to go and pick it up!

Came here with friends for the 1st time. found something nice on menu as wouldnt be my normal choice. lots of drinks on offer. was good for a drink and good for some food and good for a friends meet up place.

Ordered tikka korma and they sent chicken. Then my saag dish was cold. Called and they said it wasn’t possible. Food also took almost 2 hours to arrive. Offered to send the korma again but wouldn’t replace the cold food unless I sent it back? So had to eat the sides on their own. Extremely disappointing. Only positive was that the food itself was nice

Food came cold, curry was very watery and didn’t have much flavour. Pre-ordered food and it was still half an hour late.

Ordered so we could have it by time we got back from cinema, order showed up 20mins early and had to be taken in my parents who weren’t eating it.

Overall quality of food good but not hot!!! Ordered on Just eat app. Had to telephone restaurant twice as no update to what was happening with the order. Not too sure if we would order from them again.

I ordered a king prawn rogan josh, meal delivered wrong the 1st time. Replaced by store. However whole meal very bland, no spice, poor quality. Worst Indian takeaway I have had.

Ordered delivery through just eat but they denied the offer, see attached. The person I spoke to was so rude, said there was no way this offer was on Just Eat and got really angry when I told him I had read it on there....

We ordered our food to be told our food would be ready for half 7. My partner went to collect at half 7 for the restaurant to tell him they had only just seen our order and won’t be ready so to come back. I called the restaurant to be greeted with an extremely rude man telling me that they did see the order but we ordered wrong, not sure how it was my fault when I used the just eat app. Food finally was collected half hour after the original time given. Food was horrific! Cold, watered down, extremely poor quality!

We used to go here regularly for takeaways, I don't know what's happened but it has seriously gone downhill Its a shame as I used to absolutely adore the food from here

Good took 1:15 mins to arrive. The flavour was good but it was cold sadly.

Having stayed in Corby for the weekend, we found this Indian restaurant which was excellent value for money. The food was great. The service was excellent. Would very much recommend to anyone visiting the area and locals alike!

One ordered item missing (Mango Chutney) it's only 60p but that's not the point, nothing should be missing.

Voujon never let me down with quality of food or the timings. That's how business should operate.

Had a fantastic meal here with some team members. Very impressed with the meal and service in a safe environment (as many find this important) but still relaxed

1.5 hrs for a local delivery was a bit much to wait

Absolutely disgusting, firstly the order was over an hour late, I had repeatedly tried to call the restaurant to find out how long it would be (28times) with no answer at all. When it finally arrived the delivery driver explained it was very busy and they needed at least another 2 drivers. Our order had been driven around all over the place before arriving at our door so no wonder it was cold. He also told us how he had another 16 deliveries in the car cant imagine what the food of the last delivery would be like. I tried to call the restaurant again once the food arrived to complain about it being cold and basically ineddable but again no answer. I have ordered from this restaurant a lot of times but I'm afraid to say this will be the last..shocking

Excellent curry here and throughly recommend the Bengal Flame Chicken - delicious and a deep, full flavour, perfectly spiced for me. Good service, food was well presented and a good price. Would come again for sure.

Arrived early ....looked like a cancelled order and resent back out! as all food was cold and soggy , hardly any meat in both dishes and only 2 papadoms would not recommend ordering from there to anyone

The food tasted wonderfully but was very late. We rang the restaurant when it was 15 minutes late and were told 3 minutes. Then we rang again 15 minutes later and were told that the driver was definitely on the way. The driver rang 10 minutes later and was lost. The food was tasty but cold.

Food was cold, naan bread was very small and over cooked, they advertise chips but sent fries, don’t advertise what you don’t sell, chips and fries are two different things, Bhuna didn’t have a lot of flavour and onion bhajis were tough and cold. Not a good meal at all.

My Lamb Tikka was Chicken Tikka. Poor portions on the two Currys. Biryani was Good. I won't buy from again due to the chicken instead of Lamb and poor portions of the curry dishes. Disappointing as heard good things. Not fussed it was late due to current covid circumstances.

Would have wrote this after eating the food as it’s only fair to judge the food after taste however after calling the shop and explaining our order was over 30 minutes late there was no help at all apart from “the driver should be out with your order”, lack of help and how late the food is will put myself off from ordering their food again.

Food quality was really poor. Ordered a tikka masala and didn’t look like one at all! It was watery and tasteless! Absolutely fuming! I called and another one was sent but seemed to be added with food colouring to make it appear red and still watery! Will never order from them again. Waste of time and money!

Been here three times since the New Year. Have always found the staff very accommodating and have had excellent quality food on each occasion. A somewhat off the beaten track location, but tastefully decorated inside. Prices very reasonable in comparison to many other establishments of...

Whilst the food was delivered early it was quite bland and it was cold so we will not be ordering from voujon in the future. Very disappointed.
