The best restaurants serving Indian food in Torbay South West

Thank you so much for a fantastic evening. We were a large group, Suji was so helpful and very friendly, and the food was delicious.

We ate there in January, been many times.The restaurant was packed, we were sat at a window table. Despite many times the server checking on the four other tables in the area we were sat,we were ignored and struggled to get anyone to cometo our table. Because we have been to this restaurant several times I thought it would be nice to email the restaurant to give them feedback/complaint about the evening. However my email ,sent more than once to the restaurant went unanswered. So now I am posting this

One of the Best Indian Restaurants in Torquay

No need to dress up in this cosy restaurant. Staff superbly attentive. Our food was delicious and hot. Will return when in area.

I would rate this the best takeaway we had in our life time. The old owners wasn’t to great but the new owners brought it back to life. There is so much flavour in the food and it’s a really good price. The staff are kind and nice. I would recommend this to all my friends and family.

Many years or amazing tasty currys I think the best currys in the bay Chicken tikka vindaloo is amazing Chicken madras’s are amazing too

This isn’t the first or last time that we visit this restaurant because every visit is different, but also the same, different recommendations on the menu, always excellent , always leaving satisfied with freshly cooked food and excellent service, value for money, so please visit

Pretty disappointed,had delivery. The beef in masaman curry was sparse,didn’t realise ur special balti is now full of chilli! Two of the most expensive dishes on menu and arrived lukewarm…..for the price hike I expect better. Shame because had better from here!

Great service and the food was lovely, would recommend! Best Indian food in Paignton. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely go back.

I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for years and just wanted to review to post my appreciation, the food is amazing I recommend the dhansk. they do a great delivery deal rice , Bombay , curry and onion bahji with popdaom and salad and mint sauce for £14. Really well cooked chicken . Exceptional customers service and they remember you and your order each time. Honestly couldn’t recommend more so 10/10 as far as I’m concerned thank you guys . I’ve also been into the restaurant and received great service

We had a take away curry for the third time from here on New Year’s Day night . We were out in town with friends and rang and ordered to pick up . My friend wanted something which was not on the menu and they rang back to confirm with her exactly what she wanted . The food was delicious and the portions really good . This was our third time getting a take away from here , we normally visit Brixham a couple of times a year & will be ordering again next time we come , we have had deliveries the other times which have also been quick and delivered by friendly drivers . It was our friends first curry from here and they wii also definitely order when they are in Brixham again . We also asked a member of staff in one of the bars and they said they would recommend Bombay Mix over any other Indian . Could not fault it .

AMAZING FOOD i abolutly loved this food it tasted like pure heaven every bite was lushious and i simply did not want tit to end it tasted like it had come straight out of the oven it was abosolutely amazing 10/10 would deffinatley go again

Awful, awful, awful Had to give a star to make this comment. Food arrived half hour to early from time booked. Ordered a banana dish, no banana, no flavour, meat so tough my jaw hurt from chewing it. Orderd a semi hot dish, so so hot could hardly eat and didn't finish more like a very hot madras. Naan bread...my advice...avoid. Thought we'd give this take away a chance as we always ordered from previous owners. Food then was excellent but delivery was poor. From this experience with the new owners we will definitely NOT be using them again.
