The best restaurants in Torbay South West

Went to Weavers Cottage today with my family to have a late celebration for my birthday. I had a high tea which was lovely and my family had other various items off the menu. All the food was lovely and beautifully served. The gentleman who was serving was very helpful and efficient and it was service with a smile. We are local to Torquay but it was our first time visiting Weavers cottage but it won’t be our last. Lovely outdoor setting that is covered with heaters and we even had a visit from a little robin on the back of one of our chairs. Lovely little lunch stop.

Dilly Dally tearoom is our go to eatery for breakfast and lunch when in Brixham, you won’t find better. All the food is fabulous and we’ve tried most things over the years. Panini’s, cakes, sandwiches, breakfasts all delicious. The hosts, Kim and Mark are extremely convivial and very hard working. Visit Dilly Dally’s before it’s too late.

I'm not sure why we haven't got around to dining at Ollies previously,but better late than never. We dined here for lunch and were delighted with our experience. Although it was a set course lunch menu the choice was adequate. The wine list was extensive and had some excellent choices. The service was excellent and the staff were welcoming and attentive.The food was delicious and well prepared and presented. We enjoyed monkfish bites served as pre lunch nibbles, classic prawn cocktail and Chinese five spice pork belly bites,followed by rib eye steaks. The steaks were perfectly cooked,tender and succulent.If you love desserts the lemon meringue is out of this world, soft buttery pastry,fresh lemon filling (not awful lemon essence flavour) topped with Italian meringue ....heaven on a plate. This restaurant deserves its consistently good reviews.

Cute French bistro, efficient and friendly staff and consistently great food. We visit every time we find ourselves in Brixham.

arrived at 3:50. told last orders were at 4. Quickly tried to order coffee and cakes. Rudely told that the cakes had been moved to the kitchen and we could only have coffee.

We visited Olive for Sunday lunch and we loved it. We received a friendly welcome on arrival both chose lamb shanks. The meal was lovely and well presented with a plentiful shared platter of vegetables. We will definitely be booking again shortly

Really nice independent cafe. Lovely atmosphere inside and seating out the front. The sweet cinnamon treat bagel was very tasty and my flat white was crafted really well (I'm pretty fussy when it comes to coffee). If you are looking for great coffee and food this place is definitely worth a visit.

Best coffee we’ve had in Brixham. Lovely cakes. Very friendly staff. Not our first visit and definitely not our last. Love the memorabilia.

We nearly missed you. What ravishing reviews! As is often the case had been meaning to visit this fab little café but it's taken a message on Facebook to learn you're moving on. Excellent toasties today, generous fillings and delicious. Great coffee. Clearly supported by locals and regulars. Doggy friendly and thankfully no plastic plants! That alone is worth a star. Yet another lovely breakfast here! We love it and it is our go to place for breakfast now! The food is so tasty and freshly prepared. We are lucky enough to have this gem on our doorstep but if you're visiting make sure you give it a try! They do take out too!

Fantastic little pub. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent choice of home cooked food and large portions too. The prices were very competitive too Have visited now evenings and Sunday lunchtime and cannot fault anything at all

A great little restaurant with exceptional Thai food. It is a definite place to visit if you are staying in Brixham - although I would advise booking because it is so popular with tourists and locals alike.

The cafe no longer exists. Dont try to find it. there is no longer a Star cafe at the location. Enough said, surely? xxxxxxxxx

We visited for lunch and sat outside in the lovely courtyard. This place is so welcoming with lovely, friendly staff, great service and delicious food. I had mushrooms and scrambled egg on toast - highly recommended. This place just gets it right with little touches such as them asking you if you would like hot water top ups for drinks rather than you approaching them. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Brixham
