The best restaurants in Torbay South West

Our first time ordering from the Roasted Root and it was absolutely incredible.. we were in heaven! Such a variety of choices and generous portion sizes all cooked to a very high standard. We will certainly be ordering again in the near future and will be recommending to others!

Very welcoming and talented host who ensured we had a proper traditional experience! Go for the coffee to start, it is worth it! Food is amazing and it is hard to experience anywhere else outside of London so GO! So worth it!

I went there with my young daughter 2years old and there was such a warm greeting as we walked through the door, there was a lovely little play area full of variety of toys and books for her to play with and even a television. There was a variety of hot drinks and mlthe menu looked appealing. Clean and bright space, would definitely recommend. I had a lovely experience. Thank you

First time visiting this place and was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff offering a wide variety of hot food, sandwiches, baguettes, hot and cold drinks at reasonable prices.

I visit this cafe most days for breakfast or lunch and the food is excellent. The breakfast start from a small breakfast to gigantic “Navvy” special. Lunches of Roast Beef, Roast Chicken, Cottage Pie and many daily specials including Fish, Curries, Ham Egg & Chips . Give it a try. Great value for money. Situated in St Anne’s Road at the corner of Reddenhill Road.

Wanted something to take back, we looked at the sandwiches already made up but it was not problem as they made up our sandwich choice, and the cakes looked yummy.

Thank you Millie's. We enjoyed our lunch with you - we had two different dishes - both were well-presented, ample portions, and delicious. Prices were more than reasonable for our meals and drinks. Millie's is a quaint cafe with a nice ambience, and great, friendly service. Well worth finding Millie's when you're in Torquay. We'll see you next time.

Hyperspace has a very friendly atmosphere, and some awesome workers or volunteers. There is a really good play area in the back, un-escapable for little ones. As you can guess from the name there is a bit of a space theme throughout the café and play area. At the end the little ones will get bubbles to persuade them to leave. Local dogs come in and are treated equally and all get lets say, some little treats when they are here. Also they offer a very big variety of drinks, if you are a chocolate person then they sell little cupcakes that are very yummy. For the older chilled out kids they can play Mario kart on the Nintendo switch for free once you have purchased a drink or food or even both. Over all this is a very nice local café down in Paignton with lots to offer. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family also I will be coming back. Well done hyperspace! , Alfie <3

My father-in-law has had his food delivered daily for the past year and a half but sadly as he has gone full-time in to a home we no long need to use them. Friendly staff , very helpful owners . Fresh ingredients, good range of food , can be adjusted to your requirements, delivered hot . Totally recommend them

This place is a Must visit. I had a sweet chilli sausage roll and a biscoff cake both were amazing. I also had a lovely coffee. Will definitely go next time I’m back in Devon

Beautiful cafe situated at Lupton House. Lovely friendly staff serving great food and drink. A little oasis of calm. Don't drive by the sign do call in.
