What a treat. We were looking to get some traditional fish and chips while staying in Brixham for the Pirate Festival. Well we weren't disappointed! We decided to eat in and had a wonderful seat by the window so we could watch the prep on the Friday night. Great portion size for a good price and amazing fish. So nice we came back the next night. Will definitely come back again the next time we are in Brixham.

The food served here is nothing short of amazing. I would rate it higher than the Ivy. Absolutely amazing and attention to detail on service and quality was first class.

Customer service was good but my burger wasn’t piping hot and the burger contained an unacceptable amount of gristle. The other family members were happy with their beef roasts! The property is very pleasant and clean, they also accommodated a request for the sea view upon arrival.

Booked for Saturday dinner. Got to the restaurant only to find it had been closed for months. They kept sending us reminders about our booking as well. Disgraceful.

Bottomless Brunch 3pm - 5pm. By 4.30 we had still only received 1 cocktail. Service improved after complaining multiple times but a really poor service. Not worth the money at all. Very disappointed.

100% reccomend this place. The owner is staff are lovely and very welcoming. The food is brilliant. My husband had a burger and I had lamb koftas all food was cooked fresh.

Popped in here several times during our holiday in Brixham. Staff excellent and the pub very cosy. Had Sunday lunch which was excellent, highly recommend it. We will return.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience. I ordered a bacon mushroom and cheese omelette . When it arrived I thought it was a joke it was black so burnt, I should have said something at the time. When I was charged £12.70 for omelette no chips and a black coffee I thought it was expensive, I scrapped off the top so hardly eat anything very disappointing.

Went here as couldn't be bothered to wait in the london fryer queue. What a mistake that was, the fish and chips was vile. The 'large' fish was a disgrace and the chips tasted like they were recooked from the previous days leftovers. They were dry and tasted awful. Anyone who thinks about avoiding the queue 150yards away, don't. This place was good years ago but is now dire and up there with the worst chippys i've had food from.

Good, old fashioned customer service, during a busy Brixham pirate weekend, where everyone mucked in and got on with the job with a smile on their faces! That's exactly what we got from Lesley, Rolly and Andrew.

Have visited several times in the past and always enjoyed but visited yesterday and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Cafe was quite empty carpets were dirty whole place very untidy ordered food surprised by being asked to pay before food was served Food was OK but nowhere near the quality it use to be Will definitely not be back
