A great place to have a good beer. The waitress was very very friendly. And the fabulous schedule. They let you try the beer before ordering it if you ask if it's good. Charming.

Lovely bar staff a friendly atmosphere and not full of yobos like a lot of the pubs in town it's a lovely day time pub and would recommend it you just want a pint with out fear of a fight kicking off or to load music you have to shout just to get serviced it was a very nice experience

Avoid this place they sell food without a license and the kitchen and pub is alway riddled with rats dirty and unhygienic

Enjoyed a pleasant few hours in this fabulous pub and met Twiggy which made the experience even better. Great beer selection and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

Found this pub on the last day of our stay in Torquay and sooo disappointed we had not found it before Such a friendly welcome, full of local people that made you feel so welcome Enjoyed chatting to Twiggy - such a character, top man! Great selection of drinks at great prices Loved the tables :)

The pub far to small to be safe. And the price of the beers are too expensive, as it definitely is not a posh pub.

Good prices. Great Sunday Roast Dinners all fresh veg etc home cooked. Must be pre ordered though.. Thanks to Karen and Twiggy

love the pub been going in for years very welcoming and easy to make new friends they tv in bar and beer garden

tucked away in a back street, twiggy`s bar. it was again our last day in torquay, blowing a gale and driving rain. so called in to twiggy`s bar, that was once used in a film, by a cheeky tough cockney, who liked swinging pool ball`s in a sock, in one of his early films. very nice ciders & other drinks where on offer, the landlady even once upon a time, lived in leeds. we had just missed the dinner menu, so decided to have a phew more drinks, to drowned our sorrows. nice tidy pub with open fire, that we dried our coats on. we will be returning to this one, in the near future.

Lovely little bar friendly people ,clean,great prices would definitely return. Emma the barmaid went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

We have had a another amazing night at Twiggys. Every time we come it's like we are family. The bar staff always remember what we drink 😀Karen and Twiggy are always so happy to see you and Twiggy likes to send us on our way with a good rum . This really is a home from home pub with a great atmosphere could not recommend it more it is slightly off the main road but well worth it 😍

I've traveled the world via bars from posh to plain and back again. And you know when you found one where you feel at home and everyone likes a drink. This place is so unpretentious yet so friendly... a proper bar you don't find everywhere.

Dying for a drink we spotted this little gem just by chance! Tucked away down a side Street it's easy to miss but what a great little place this is! Small but beautifully put together! Very friendly and welcoming!

The landlord 'Twiggy' and bar staff are very welcoming to both locals and strangers visiting his public house. The same applies with the local regulars too. The choice of real ales is limited, probably due to the fact that there is limited space to display many handpumps, having said that, all beers are always well kept, well served and very reasonably priced. I was told this is one of the very few truly independent pubs in Torquay. The Pimlico area is very well served by the main No12 and 32 buses plus a couple of others. This is a bit of a hidden gem well worth finding !

Just over £3 for a double spirit and a mixer. Friendly staff and friendly Clientele. You can't fault it.

Encontramos este muy hospitalario bar en Pimlico, detrás de la calle principal (Union Street). Solía ser el Pickwick. Cuando llegamos estaba lleno de gente mirando el rugby. Enseguida nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos y nos invitó a servir bocadillos. Fue una noche de frío afuera, y había un gran fuego dentro. Volvimos al día siguiente y se la próxima vez en Torquay.

He estado en esta casa pública durante los últimos 10 años cuando era el Pickwick Inn. Fue tomada por los n Karen 2 1/2 años atrás, nos desnudamos. n decoradas. Buena comida, cervezas, sidras, primera fabulosa n diferentes sabores de balas vody! ambiente muy acogedor para la familia, inodoros n/zona de jardín prohibido fumar no es adecuado para el acceso en silla de ruedas. Jardín, zona de fumadores no es adecuado para niños. Pero me encanta esta casa pública y como una mujer puede venir en mi propio y no sentir incómodos.

Este bar es excelente, fui allí en 19/07/2014 con mi madre y paso más lejos y probamos una de sus comidas, era un excelente precio y no me esperaba mucho por mi dinero, pero me quedé asombrado. fue una de las mejores comidas que he tenido restruant y estaba en un pub, sus patatas fritas eran caseras y perfecto.

Twiggy's Bar (formally called The Pickwick) is a freehold public house just off the main street in Torquay. It sells a range of real ales, largers, ciders, wines etc. There is home made food available every lunch-time. They also serve a selection of roast meals on a Sunday. It is one of the only places in the area which also has a beer garden. I can recommend this local pub for its friendly atmosphere, good food and drink.
