I was treated to Phoenix’s creations while staying at The Miggi. The three-course Thai dinner was great, with authentic aromatics and flavours. The truffles are fabulous. The almond-cheese is excellent. The second dinner I had included summer rolls with satay sauce, quiche and salads, and chai cheesecake for dessert - scrumptious! I’ve seen photos of the afternoon tea and wish I’d had time for that too during my visit. Currently Phoenix offers Friday themed dinners, Sunday roast on the last Sunday of month, afternoon tea on request, artisan cheese and chocolate truffles.

There were seven of us for a meal at the Miggi, cooked by Phoenix of All Good Things Vegan. We had poppadums and chutneys, followed by a thali of chick pea curry, dhal, rice and butter ‘chicken’ tofu with flat breads. This was followed by a stupendous cheesecake: the base was date and pistachio and the cream was chai flavoured. Some people had freshly made mango lassi. There was a gluten-free option too. This was all topped off with complementary hand made truffles. An incredible vegan meal, beautifully presented.

Highly recommend! My husband and I booked for the ‘taste of Luxembourg’ evening and it was fantastic. All freshly prepared by Phoenix, who is so welcoming.. We will definitely be returning.

If you are in the Torbay area and looking for good quality vegan food I can highly recommend All Good Things Vegan. Phoenix, your host & chef, makes all the food themselves and combines some delicious flavours, ingredients and textures. Delicious.

We had the most amazing , scrumptious, astoundingly delicious afternoon tea here on the planet . Made with love and care and boy can you taste it. Can’t recommend highly enough .

We had an excellent vegan Indian themed meal, with cauliflower pakoras, kofta in a cashew cream sauce and ras malai for dessert. We also had fresh mango lassi and chai. The food was cooking of a very high standard

Had an all vegan afternoon cream tea with All Good Things Vegan hosted by The Miggi. Food was plentiful and everything was spot on, really delicious. Portions were large, went home with a goody bag! Pheonix the chef was really friendly and made the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. We have already been back again and would absolutely recommend

Just back from another amazing stay @ The Miggi where Phoenix has their business based All Good Things Vegan. We had the most beautiful spring themed three course meal on Friday evening followed by an afternoon tea on Sunday, the quality of food is outstanding, we returned after a lovely stay last June.

As a huge fan of Phoenix's food, I desperately wanted to try the Chinese menu. I booked a weekend at The Miggi and hoped it would be on the Menu.. Phoenix pulled out all the stops and The Friday night special was Chinese especially for me. Well what a treat was in store, so tasty and full of flavour. The Seitan ribs in sticky sauce was amazing and the tofu in Black Bean sauce out of this world.. The whole meal was to die for .. Phoenix is a genius in the kitchen.. I just need an excuse to go again now .

Amazing vegan truffles at all good things vegan. I had to order another box. I have food intolerances and this place truffles are simply lovely. Amazing staff who will stop at nothing to meet your every need. I cant wait untill i can try out the catering or one of there fab special themed nights. Would highly recommend but make sure you dont buy all the truffles save some for me.

I dropped in for the delicious cream tea, which was almost (and probably was) too much for me to eat in one sitting. Thankfully you can also take some of the items home with you for a snack later, and it is probably a good idea as there are many different tasty savoury and sweet delicacies to try. From the chocolate truffle to the sandwiches, the scone, jam and cream of course, and the cakes! I've also been along for the roast lunch too which is excellent, everything is very carefully prepared and delicious!

Phoenix's food is some of the best I have ever tasted. Their truffles are absolutely out of this world! I was a big fan when Phoenix was based in Brighton and my wife and I made the trip to Torbay to stay at The Miggi and eat Phoenix's amazing food again. We had the Halloween meal which was as inventive and delicious as we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal including the mashed potato ghosts which were ridiculously cute!

Phoenix presented us a delight of unusual and tasty Mexican food on the themed menu. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it and the portions were very generous. The truffles were also fantastic! I ordered some custard tarts as a surprise for my husband and he loved them.

Me, my partner and our little dog, stayed at The Miggi for several nights. We'd previously enjoyed food from All Good Things and so it made perfect sense for us to book dinners with them throughout our stay! There's so much to say about the food but one of the main things that stand out for me, is the love & passion that goes into it. Phoenix is clearly someone who loves what they do and who care about people's enjoyment, and that's evident in what they create, and how they create it. We had several main meals aswell as an afternoon tea and there was literally nothing we didn't like. Meals are well balanced, full of flavour and portions generous. I'm not a foodie kind of person but even I can recognise food that's a bit special and they are very much in the league of some of the fancier restaurants I've been at, just without the steep price tag and limited portion sizes! Service was warm, welcoming & accommodating. I'd very much recommend booking in when staying at The Miggi, and the food is also worthwhile travelling for 💚

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food,we choose AGTV@the Miggi's to celebrate our wedding anniversary and couldn't be happier with our choice. Definitely recommend it.

This food is absolutely delicious! I’ve had an amazing birthday cake, delicious chocolates and fabulous meals from around the world. I’m not vegan, but choose to eat here because it’s inventive, healthy and yummy. I totally recommend it!

Amazing food, superbly prepared and presented. Not only the best vegan food in Torbay, or even in Devon. This was some of the best vegan food we’ve ever had. The afternoon teas are incredible (the only time I’ve ever had to ask for leftovers to be boxed up!). The themed cuisine nights at The Miggi are a perfect introduction to veganised dishes from around the world. Book in now. You will not be disappointed!

This was next level cooking. The flavours were exquisite and the textures were authentic and comforting. Fantastic attention to detail, from the sharply flavoursome starter, through the rich, hearty succulent main, to the bonus tripple-whammy trio of blockbuster puddings. The 'vin' in the coq au vin was real, and the home-made 'coq' was a more than convincing imitation. A real treat from Phoenix. 😊 Highly recommended. They also sent us home with the most delicious hand- made chocolates I have ever tasted.

The best vegan food ever. Every meal was luscious. Interesting, varied menu and every dish was a delight. Pad Thai and Singapore pancakes. Steakless pie with mash and veg, and chocolate tore with raspberries. Thali. Roast dinner. Everything was fab. And the chef and owners are lovely people who treat you like cherished guests. Stayed for four evenings, and just booked to stay at Christmas, which will be my third stay in 6 months. Need I say more?

Phoenix is a lovely person and excellent chef. She does a regular vegan/plant based supper club at the Miggi b&b in Torbay, Devon. We went back in September, had a Vietnamese menu Yellow Curry was delicious as was starter and dessert. Finished off with a couple of complimentary home made chocolates. We had a short break at The Miggi and the best thing was the food!! The meals were fantastic with variety and flavour. We also ordered a picnic lunch for a day out and hand made chocolates to take home. Truly wonderful. Don't miss the special dinner around the world evenings too!!

Where do I start? Ok, we first experienced Phoenix food in Brighton and found it excellent so decided to follow them to Paignton. We booked a few nights at The Miggi where they are based. Phoenix (the owner and Chef at All Good Things Vegan) contacted us beforehand to see what they could do for us. After some discussion we decided on having an afternoon tea and a roast dinner. We arrived at The Miggi early afternoon to an amazing greeting and then proceeded to unpack. After about an hour we went downstairs to the Dining Room where we were greeted to a beautiful laid up table. I am a bit anxious about this type of thing but Phoenix was soon on the case and greated us and made us feel ultra comfortable. Once we were served our drinks they came out of the kitchen with the most amazing selection of sandwiches and savoury snacks, that were all homemade. Having finished them we were presented with a three layer selection of sweet cakes, pastries and scones that would rival a top hotel. We stayed at The Miggi for four nights and never managed to finish our doggy bag from that afternoon. They do a Sunday Roast once a month, but we were lucky that they were doing a mid week roast when we were there. As a former chef and food lover I am quite fussy with a roast but have to admit that they pulled it off with an excellent meal that beat someone with the biggest appetite. Now I turn back to our room at The Miggi. We had a fridge in our room and when we opened it we saw that there was a jar with a message saying eat me. Once we opened the jar we found a couple of handmade truffles inside. We tried them and found that they were absolutely out of this World. Having spoken to Phoenix we found that they were available for home delivery across the UK, so don't hesitate to get in touch. Now I move on to Themed evenings. Phoenix from all good things vegan has travelled around the world and absorbed the food from various countries and then veganised them. Most Fridays they choose a Country and produce a three course meal dedicated to that County. As The Miggi isn't licenced you can bring your own for a very small corkage fee. I cannot give a review for those nights as were not lucky enough to attend, but from the three things that we experienced and the pictures that I have seen I wouldn't hesitate to book
