Friends Of Oldway Tearooms in Torbay

Excellent value for money, lovely friendly service from volunteers. Can recommend the cheese scone with butter and the beautiful locally sourced cakes. Dogs welcome with customers. Highly recommended.

Popped along yesterday, had a lovely tea and cake served by the friends of Oldway. Look forward to returning again soon!

I love Oldway and it needs all the help it can get to try and restore it to its magnificent glory. Had a very tasty Cheese scone tea and it was very cheap and extremely tasty, just what I needed. Th volunteers are friendly and hard working I love it there.

Called for the first time with a friend for tea/coffee and cake which were all lovely. Friendly staff, really good value and choice of indoor/outdoor seating. It was a lovely warm sunny day so had a very pleasant time sat outside before having a wander around the garden. Only small inside so was good to have outside to sit in, hoping to be back.

So lovely to visit a friendly cafe in such a beautiful setting. The tea rooms may be small, however the staff are friendly and welcoming and the lunches nicely prepared. I wanted cake after however despite them looking so fresh and inviting, I just didn't have room. Despite them being busy we werent rushed. I understand everyone is a volunteer which is amazing. After, we wandered the gardens. We will make time to visit again.
