You can not ask for more personal, bespoke service or delicious food. I took my best friend and god children today and everyone- a tough crowd ranging from ages 7 to 52- all were wowed by every aspect. DO NOT PASS UP THE CAKES! I wish I could give them 11 out of 10!

Had a fantastic Afternoon Tea here. Following a warm and friendly greeting by Mark we were served hot drinks followed by a splendid selection of sandwiches, Scones with a generous pot of clotted cream and jam... together with fresh strawberries! There were also about 5 different types of Cake for us to sample. We took a lot of the cake away in a Cake box provided so we could eat these later. You need to book this 24 hours in advance and you are able to select upto 2 different sandwich filings per person along with the type of bread. Any trip to Brixham must include a visit to this lovely little Tearoom. Will certainly be visiting again!

Nice stop for a bite to eat. Shared a ham and cheese canonically which was stunning. The ham in it was top quality!!! And I can't not mention the cider. Nom nom.

Stayed in Brixham this week - went here for breakfast most days. You won’t regret it…..great food, nice people, go check it out 👍

We booked a table at Dilly Dally for lunch during our girly holiday in Brixham. My parents (who live in Brixham) joined us. We received a warm welcome from the owners Mark and Kim. We ordered various paninis, sandwiches, and chips from the menu, which were delicious. We stayed for a couple of hours and at no time felt like we were being rushed out. The owners were chatty and very pleasant. We really wanted a slice of the delicious cakes but didn't have room, so we ordered some to take away. I would highly recommend Dilly Dally for breakfast, lunch, or cakes, but it is quite small, so it is advisable to book to avoid disappointment

This beautiful tea room in Brixham is quaint and enchanting. We visited and had a Devon Cream Tea. My friend had a gin and tonic instead of tea. Scones were delicious and lovely and warm with clotted cream and jam. Tea cups are vintage style which added to the charm.There was an enticing menu to choose from with lovely cakes and pastries 🍰 also on display. Gem of a cafe. Lovely atmosphere. Great entertaining hospitality. Gorgeous food and wonderful cream teas. Best to book to avoid disappointment. Our wee dog appreciated the tasty sausage!😀

Refreshingly lovely. We popped in just as a table of four was finishing up. He could see we had two small ones so said to us to come back in 5 and he’ll reserve us the table when the people leave to save us waiting. Food excellent, prices reasonable and nothing was too much trouble. They were lovely with kids to make them feel welcome. Even when another table spilled something they were quick to notice help out and not make them feel bad. It’s not big so is a bit of timing luck to get a table. Most people respect that and ensure it’s a fairly quick turnaround to allow others in though you’re never rushed by staff. If it’s full when you arrive don’t be one of the annoying people that come in then leave the door wide open on your way out.

We’ve been many times and always lovely, if you want to guarantee a table, book as they are always busy Excellent value for money, super friendly service and always a titbit for the doggy visitors

What a gem of an eatery. Just outside the very centre of Brixham. Food and hosts were fantastic. Would highly recommend.

A lovely, friendly place. We are in Brixham for a holiday and popped in for brunch. My wife is vegan and they had a good selection for her. The couple who own the cafe were very friendly and welcoming. This is a dog friendly cafe and they even got a nice sausage treat! Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Brixham for delicious food, a nice welcome and good value.

Visited Brixham and as always. DillyDally is our go to for breakfast every morning. The food is outstanding, all freshly made and full of flavour. Good quality coffee as well. Each time we visit, Kim and Mark are such lovely hosts and go out of their way to make us, and our dogs, feel so welcome. It’s a pleasure to see them and I look forward to my holidays in Brixham if not just for my breakfast! I note a couple of negative reviews recently and would urge anyone to ignore them, they do not reflect the service or quality of food, it’s a shame people are so negative and not supportive.

I cannot review this place highly enough . The owners make us SO welcome every time we visit while on holiday here . The food is all homemade and excellent . Cannot understand some previous reviews as have always found mark and Kim lovely hosts . Small business these days is difficult and everyone needs to be a little more tolerant and kind ! I will certainly return

Visited for cream tea and I was grateful that we got a table as it was busy. We ordered a cream tea, sausage sandwich and Victoria sponge cake. Everything was delicious and fresh. Generous helping of jam and cream with the cream tea which is always a bonus. We would recommend and visit again. Thank you.

We love it here. Mark and Kim are always so friendly and welcoming. We booked to come for hubbys birthday this morning. When we arrived there were banners up by our table, what a lovely touch, that was really appreciated. The breakfast as always totally yummy, lovely tea and coffee too. We couldn’t leave without taking a piece of coffee and walnut cake with us, the cakes are made by Kim and are absolutely glorious. Thank you for another lovely visit. Hope to see you soon.

Anything less than 5 stars is an injustice to the excellent service and food. I had the full English and all I can say is it’s a shame I don’t live closer as this would be a daily occurrence.

Visited here for the first time (but definitely not the last) this lovely small cafe for brunch. Good and varied choice on menu plus specials board….delicious french toast with bacon ….superb. A nice welcome and staff showed friendly interest in us and made polite conversation during our visit. Drinks were served hot..always a bonus. Cakes looked amazing ….noted for our next visit…

This is very overdue, as I’ve been going at least once a week since Dilly Dally opened. I think there are very few items I have not eaten many times. In addition, if she’s not with me already, my wife usually asks me to bring back something savoury or sweet … or both! The food is super. I’ve been going so long that that’s a given for me. However, Mark and Kim go way, way beyond just the job of running the cafe. They show a genuine interest and engagement with locals and tourists alike, with some making a trip to Dilly Dally as part of their annual Brixham holiday. My only nervousness about posting this is that it could make it even more difficult to find a slot. The place can not be described as huge, so booking is recommended. But it’s worth it. It’s all homemade. Oh and a final note. The homemade cakes are delicious. I recently had Kim make my wife’s 50th birthday cake, complete with a sweet, edible version of my wife and our cat in woods on top. ‘Sweet and edible’ refer to the cake, not my w…, well you know what I mean. Definitely worth a visit!
