Great pub to visit for a quite and relaxing drink. Excellent and well stocked bar. Lovely seating, sofas etc. We enjoyed our afternoon here.

Probably one of Brixham's best loved pubs and when you visit you'll quickly realise why... It's immaculately clean, always a great atmosphere, fantastic selection of drinks, friendly and welcoming staff. They do pizza nights Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I have to say they are the best pizzas you'll taste this side of Exeter! But don't take my word for it, pop along and find out for yourself.

A lovely cozy country pub, tooled away from the main area, worth searching for. Great value for drinks, didn’t eat there, but the food looked delicious, offering pizza night on Thursday’s, and live music. Little seating area outside under a gazebo with overhead deterrents to stop the seagulls swooping down and pinching food.

How fantastic to see this 17th century drinking pub full to the gunnels with locals and visitors. Fabulous atmosphere on a Friday night!

One of my favourite pubs in Brixham, always has a good mix of people and a fantastic atmosphere. Pizza night on Thursday is great, and the outdoor seating is a nice bonus!

Lovely pub both inside and outside. Best thing is they have gluten free beer and an outdoor terrace. Highly recommend

Family 21st drinks. I had never been in this pub before although being from a fishing family but moved locally. Lovely, tiny traditional pub. Warm and inviting atmosphere. I didn’t know that it was probably one of the oldest in Brixham and Devon.

The Manor is a great little pub. Real ales are a treat, staff are welcoming. No food, but great for a few drinks before or after dinner. Very dog-friendly too.

What a gem of a place! And the ‘Dark and Stormy’ cocktails are just amazing! Completely recommend, chilled, welcoming pub and dog friendly too.

Ace pub, oldest in Brixham apparently, great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Very dog friendly, with a decent mix of locals and tourists. Very friendly bar staff, highly recommended.

Found this gem while exploring the back streets of Brixham one afternoon. A traditional locals pub that hast been unspoiled by modernisation. A dog friendly establishment with a nice outdoor seating area. A good variety of draught beers and ciders.The pub does not do food which is part of its charm. Cheerful staff and friendly locals.

Great ambience and a lovely place to plop down for a drink away from the busy quay. The staff was very friendly and we ended up staying a lot longer that we'd originally intended.

Best pub in brixham, always go here. Staff are great also Espresso martinis are the best about. And the usual crowd in there are always friendly.

Found this place tucked away just a few minutes walk from the harbour on the last day of our week in Brixham. Good bar choice and great music choice from the barman! Dog friendly and met some lovely people, both locals and visitors.

Great little place … you could hear the warm buzz of conversation as you approach the pub. A lovely cozy warm feel to the place with lots of comfortable seating … but it’s not huge so maybe you need to be here early on a...

A lovely pub, with a friendly and very welcoming ambience. Outdoor area hums with conversation and indoor is very comfortable and reasonably spacious. Good selection of beers and gins. Staff are excellent it's worth coming up the hill a bit for a proper pub experience.

We loved the way it was decorated, the music and the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was table service.

Visited about 5pm inside was full but it was nice to sit outside Had a couple of good pints of Legend. Nice place nice people and good beer we will visit again.

I stopped by here for a pint one mid-afternoon in October, and stayed to enjoy two. The beer is excellently kept, and the pub is a really friendly place. Without being asked to do so, the landlord even recommended to me another pub in Brixham for its well-kept ales. Though I did not eat here, I am sure the food would be good, as the pub is clearly being very well looked after.

We visited The Manor Pub during a daytrip to Brixham. With the harbour being very busy it was nice to find the pub not overly busy and managed to get seats and a table in the outdoor section in front of the pub. A couple of real ales were available and spent a pleasant hour there in the sun.

after drinking round the corner a couple of times, someone local told us about the manor, what a find! proper cosy little place with a really good gin selection and the drinks were not expensive at all. staff nice and welcoming, couldnt have hoped to find a more proper pub that just felt like 'normal' even with the changes in place.

Stayed near here so popped in for a little drink while looking around , very friendly pub and was not too busy so was relaxed and a lovely atmosphere. HOPE TO VISIT AGAIN ONE DAY

We were staying a couple of doors down and paid a visit very day we were there. It's both traditional but trendy and with-it. We're from Brighton where there are lots of great pubs, and The Manor was head and shoulders over anywhere else.

A delight. Our only criticism is that we didn’t find this pub until half way through our stay! A wide variety of drinks, all at good places. Lovely interior and the outside seats are a sun trap.

Great little pub which was very close to our hotel. Nice seating area outside as well. Plenty of room inside too and a nice big bar. Staff friendly and helpful. Prices were ok too.

We bit the bullet and trekked up the hill to this pub after we had heard great comments about it. It is truly a hidden gem. The décor is very unique and creates a simultaneous feeling of a traditional pub and a quirky eclectic atmosphere but it works well.If you are looking for food then be aware that this pub does not serve food which I think contributes to the quality of this pub. It serves a good range of local beers and other drinks.My wife and I look forward to returning to a fantastic pub.

Well worth a visit. Good selection of drinks, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of games if the mood takes you!

Food was very good and very plentiful. Go there hungry. I had roast beef with Yorkshire pud and roasties then the serving dishes came with five more veggie choices. Puddings were also good. Staff friendly and polite. A good experience and we shall be going there again to take friends from Canada and London.

Always a good place for a meal, with it's great atmosphere, good selection of hand pulled beers and delicious food cooked on the premises.

A little of the main area but it is essential to find the place. Very friendly staff and those that frequent it. Nice comfortable seating busy but not too busy. The only decent place to drink as far as we were concerned. This pub does not serve food, thankfully.

Popped in twice during our short stay - helped that we were staying next door! The pub is really cosy and inviting and has a fab selection of beer and we also found a couple of glorious rums. All the staff were really friendly.We’ll definitely head here next time we’re in Brixham

Popped to this pub last summer but sat outside..just been to brixham for 5 nights & used this pub most nights.brilliant staff & friendly locals & decent drink of San miguel..my only minor criticism is the metal chairs that scrape across a tiled floor when there's a few in. It does do your head in when kids keep scraping the chairs across the floor. But it's a great pub..

Having a great time until going to the Manor. Unfortunately a certain persons need was much much more entitled to the rest of us and needed to the seat we were using so had to be relinquished to stop her “kicking off”. Won’t bother going here again with that sort of clientele.

Tripadvisor tells us that The Manor pub on Higher Street is number two out of sixty five restaurants in Brixham: Wow!!!! Quite an accolade as the pub does not do food.

It was nice to have a pub in the same road as where we were staying in Brixham. From the outside, the place looks tiny. You open the door and greeted with a huge expanse of space. Great variety of seating arrangements from comfortable sofas, chairs around tables or sitting at the bar. Drinks excellent. In good weather there are benches outside. A great local pub. Great coffee too and friendly staff. Afew minutes from the Fore Street

We almost didn't visit as "Higher Street" in Brixham could be a long haul up! We are so glad we did as it is only a short walk from the harbour and it's a lovely, traditional pub

We love this pub! Beautifully decorated inside with real style so that it’s welcoming and cosy with plenty of places to enjoy one of their big collection of board games. Landlord is friendly and knowledgeable. Not a huge range of beer but well kept Good selection of gin including some unusual ones. Sadly no food but they have nibbles. Otherwise perfect!

It's one of those pubs that's tucked away from the mayhem with low-lighting, enticing you to stay all day and night and drink more than you should...

Didn't find the Manor until day 5 of our holiday despite looking for it! It's perched up a steep road just off the main road into Brixham, suppose the fact it's in Higher St should have given me a clue. There is a small outside area which we sat in before it started to rain and we retreated indoor. The pub is lovely inside, extremely cosy and would love to visit in Winter. Drinks were reasonably priced and sofas comfy to sit in, what else do you need?

In all the times we've been to Brixham we never knew The Manor existed till someone recommended we go check it out ... and what a fab find!!

Found it by accident one day it’s a great little pub hidden away with nice staff well worth a visit.

Located slightly off the beaten track, we felt this was a hidden gem of a pub. Friendly, cosy, relaxed and serving good beer. Worth the short hike up the hill.

We only had drinks here, but thoroughly enjoyed the beer and wine, and also the opportunity to meet people in the seating area on a lovely sunny day.

We ended up here at the end of the evening and although it was a bit out of the centre of Brixham, it was worth the walk. Usual pub drinks but a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and decent background music. It was the perfect place to end our evening and have a chat amongst friends.

Our B&B; hosts (Ash & Bev from Trefoil) recommend this lovely friendly pub. It was by far our favourite pub and was a real pleasure to rest our weary feet whilst enjoying a lovely cider sat on a comfy leather sofa. Great decor and so nice to have those extra little touches like a great selection of board games - we spent a most enjoyable couple of hours playing dominos, cards and talking to the friendly locals and their dogs.

This is a great place for a nice quiet cozy drink. Very well decorated and set out. Very good selection of drinks.

Great pub for a pre and post dinner drinks. A dog and children friendly pub with outside and comfortable indoor seating. Good tables for a family crowd to sit round to chat or play cards or a board game . Some nights they have bands or individuals in to play and sing. Very friendly comfortable pub popular with the locals and the walkers who pass by .

Met an old pal down the road from where he lives and popped in here. There was live music which was very good. The pub has an outdoor area out over the quiet lane. Inside a revamp of old stone walls, sofas and chairs make it a smart pub compared to most locally, good fun.

This is the most comfortable pub in Brixham in my opinion it has a wide selection of gins, rums and wines, dark and stormy a delicious local drink. There are live bands on a Friday but don't expect to get a seat if you are not there early!

Went in here for an ale, and got chatting to Devon the manager, he was very good explaining the different ales. nice feel to the pub but you pay a little more than up the road, but hey ho its nice in there.

Lovely pub near the harbour, great selection of gin and wine. Board games to keep you entertained and a log fire to keep you warm - 10/10 recommend!

Found this pub from previous trip advisor reviews and I’m so glad we decided to try it!

A great spot for a drink afternoon or evening. We enjoyed using the board games and even spotted a celebrity guest enjoying a pint in the corner. There is a little climb up a hill to get there and an outdoor seating area for warmer weather.

We were so happy we found this pub.Slightly off themain route from tow into the harbour area this felt like a proper well kept secret. Lovely comfy sofas and friendly staff kept us in local beer and my favourite cider for several nights of our holiday!

Great little pub in Brixham, just off High St, little hidden. Character place, very old but buzzing. They have 24 gins on offer with Fever Tree Tonic. Candles everywhere, beautiful. Well worth a visit.

Worth the walk up the hill. Visited with the family, nice, clean and friendly local pub, can not fault it. Makes a lovely change of a seaside pub not overpriced, good staff, just cosy and comfortable.

Dropped in as we had not been there for quite a while. It is under new management and we found the staff to be friendly. The pub has two seperate area's, to the right on entering is a 'Lounge' area. To the left is a 'Games/Music' area. There is entertainment on some nights.

Passed by and popped in as a family for a drink. The decor was very tasteful and creative. Board games etc for families. Music was great staff friendly. Well kept Jail Ale!! Would recommend a visit!!

Great little place! By far our favourite watering hole in Brixham. Staff were really nice and an atmosphere second to none. The place to go if gin is your drink of choice. Tucked away from the main road between houses and easy to miss. Well worth the effort to find, get a drink, sit back and relax.... nice!
