Invest in your business and upgrade your business decor You have great staff and decent food but it all looks broken . Food ok service good . Would only return if they upgrade restaurant .

We have been going here for 21 years! The food is great and very consistent. Ali always takes care of us and we recognise the strong effort he puts in when training his chefs! Hubby goes here with the boys and we occasionally go as a couple but we order takeout often. We went as a couple in December and just as good as ever in house.

We turned up to get our pre-booked table and the staff were unwelcoming and didn’t smile. I ordered a Carlsberg and got a Cobra and when I queried it, I was told they didn’t have any even though it was on the menu. We ordered starters which turned up luke warm. The main course was ok but nothing to write home about. My wife had the lamb achari, which she said didn’t have much flavour. I had the lamb malayan and if it wasn’t for the pineapple in it, it would’ve been completely bland. The staff need to show they are bothered about their customers and perhaps smile a bit more. The restaurant was just over half full and there was very little atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this restaurant. The only plus side is that they forgot to charge us for the drink each we had. They never asked if we wanted another drink even though our glasses were empty half way through the starters.

Great takeaway on BB a Saturday night - Chicken Delicious, Sally Lamb, naan and pilau rice. Tasty and full of real spices ie cinnamon, curry leaves and fresh coriander. Ready in 15 minutes.

Restaurant is no longer trading! Looking forward to visiting after having read the reviews so was very disappointed to see an estate agent’s. sign outside the premises when I was staying in Wantage on 19th July.

Best meal out ! Food was very good . Staff were friendly working hard so you weren’t left waiting for long although it was busy . We had four different curries on our table and they were all delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening ! Recommend!

I ate alone as had just finished work on a Saturday. Firstly the positives: I had a tasty Lamb Rogan Josh, with freshly prepared rice & a light Nan bread. The pops & dips we’re good although I would have liked some chopped onions. The draught kingfisher was also v good. The only negative is they do not offer a discount off the menu prices for collecting a take away. Their competitors do offer min 10% off if you collect. I found the staff friendly and attentive.

Ordered takeaway, wish I hadn’t. Chicken was very over cooked, like a bit of old leather. Struggled to cut it. Too much oil in one of the dishes, it was like a swimming pool resting on the top of your food. Attempted to drain the oil, soaked it up with some kitchen roll. Would I eat from here again……… No!

Food was ok thou I think a lot of corners have been cut ( trying to save money) but after my dinner I went to the bathroom, it was not clean , walls , sinks and floors all need attention

Wonderful experience Food was exceptional very well presented pleasantly looked after by the owner/ waiter I would highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be visiting again

First time tried, Authentic Nepalese food, fresh ingredients and unique flavour, really enjoyed the take away meal, definitely visit again, Strongly recommend this place to try.

I am a regular customer but tonight the chicken was very grisly, had to leave most of it ! The food was also cold , think it had been out for delivery for a while , very disappointed 😞

Was in the area and fancied a curry, this is a very small restaurant near the water and offers the usual menu options. Very nice food and the bill was surprisingly low.

Fabulous, flavoursome veggie korma curry & popadoms 👍. Sadly rice was forgotten and left out of bag. Rang and I’m calling in for a complementary portion of something in the week. Great staff. Nice chat & sat & ate two poppadoms whilst waiting for my food on the house 🏠 as always 👍. Highly recommended 🙏
