Wonderful experience Food was exceptional very well presented pleasantly looked after by the owner/ waiter I would highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be visiting again

Was looking to dine here but found they were shut down. Fortunately had another Indian restaurant down the road Cardamom lounge their food was excellent with a nice dining experience too.

New to the area so though we’d try a take away and was not disappointed. Food was delicious, very flavourful. Will be coming back!

Take Out Indian - speedy, good value and tasty. Now my go to Indian take out and not to far from me, about 15-20 minute drive. Staff are always friendly and helpful, which is a must I guess.

Average Indian with not a lot of atmosphere. Staff attentive and food was okay large portions but a bit bland. Did not say anywhere they have no drinks license so you need to take your own.

Good food without being exceptional. No complaints and place we have visited for dinner and also takeaways.

I have eaten at this Restaurant on several occasions At present excellent social distancing with the covid situation. There is a very extensive menu to suit all tastes The food is always served hot and the portion size is large. I normally ask for a doggy bag to take my leftovers home. The best thing about this restaurant is you take your own alcohol with no corkage charge. Pleasant attentive polite service by all staff. If you haven't visited give it a try you won't be disappointed. If you don't wish to dine in use the popular takeaway menu.

Been coming here for 25 years and still the best and tastiest curry ever. I can recommend the mixed tikka biriani and also the mixed tikka starter

This was the first Bursledon Church Curry Night since the start of the Covid Pandemic. 31 men sat down for wonderful flavoursome meal demonstrating a range of Meat and Vegetable Dishes with Rice and Nan Bread, preceded by Poppadums and Pickles. The restaurant provided great Covid security, and all patrons and the staff wore masks to reinforce the latest Covid requirements. A great night and enjoyed by all Robert Bax

Freezing cold in the restaurant. A cold night outside doesnt mean it should be the same temperature inside! Heating was supposedly on, but I wanted to keep my coat on. No platewarmers for the food, so that cooled off fairly quickly too. No alcohol served (you can bring your own but website doesnt tell you this so we didnt know till we were in, seated and asked for a drinks menu). Food was OK but we wont rush back… at least not until next summer!

Food was outstanding but remember at the moment they have no drinks licence (Which we actually prefer as we can drink our choice of excellent vinos) The passanda was lovely and nan bread! Well worth a visit

We've been eating at Cinnamon Bay for over 15 years now. The food is always extremely tasty and the service is very friendly indeed. It's always nice to have a chat with Sam, and now Suhel's daughter Ria is also providing service with a smile. I'd highly recommend using Cinnamon Bay for a sit in or take away meal.

Our family and friends have been coming to this restaurant for many years - its welcoming atmosphere and good quality food make it a big favourite with the locals. Lovely family run business with a tasty and varied menu that has something for everyone. Great takeaway service too!

Stayed in Hamble for a week and got fed up with the pub food, unfortunately on our last night we stumbled on Cinnamon bay I say unfortunately because its a shame we never found it on our first night, the best Indian takaway I have ever had and I have had many, the man who took our order was very pleasant not sure what his name was but he was from north london, shame we only had time to pick up a takaway the restaurant looked very inviting, will definitely go back when in the area thanks for a great meal we had three different dishes and everyone was top notch.

He estado en este restaurante muchas veces en el pasado la última vez fue hace unas 6 semanas. La comida siempre ha sido buena a excelente. We regularly use the Cinnamon Bay and in ten years plus haver never had a bad meal, Suhel and his staff I guarantee will make your very welcome.To myself, my wife & the majority of friends this is the number 1 Indian restaurant not only in Hamble but for many a mile.

Seriously this is the worst Indian I have ever had. The paneer was grated cheddar, the murgh makani tasted like marmalade! The rice was ok, as was the prawn bhuna (note I say ok). We usually go to the Royal Bengal and will continue to do so. Sadly disappointed.

I've eaten in both Indian restaurants in Hamble over the 10 years I've lived in Hamble. Cinnamon Bay is by far the friendliest and best curry house in town. The Sunday buffet is great for a load up if you are hungry

we felt like we were intruding and when we asked for extra raita to go with our poppadums, it was handed over with precious little grace. Food is ok, but the staff need a lesson in customer service.

We're no stranger to curry houses, and living in London we're spoilt for choice. So we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and service in the Cinnamon Bay. Some interesting, innovative dishes and especially on Saturday night there was quite a jolly crowd. Definitely recommended.

We live in Central London not too far from Brick Lane, it would probably be fair to say we eat more than our fair share of Indian food, which doesn't necessary mean that we are curry experts, but I think it makes us a pretty good judge of Indian food.Having just moved our boat down to the Hamble, we were in need of sustenance Cinnamon Bay was not our nearest, but had a good TA write up.WOW what a real surprise, the sheek kebab was lightly spiced, juicy and really flavoursome, I had the chicken bhuna which again was delicate and moist and complemented with some of the lightest fluffiest pilau rice I have had for a long while and H's korma was excellent as well.Well worth the trip, will be back again soon

Hi there, thank you for a fantastic evening, we were a party of 9 or 10?? 7 August, we arrived a little tipsy and the waiters handled us well, they were very humored by our antic behavior and let us be, just kidding all good banter and really amazing food, great place for romantic couple and even better for a large group, there was no waiting for food, in fact we slowed them down a little as we had to finish the pataks and awesome chilli starters, the Manager even drove one of our ladys whom was very tired back to the Marina, Thank you for a great meal

My partner and myself visit this establishment regularly, being our local Indian we really do not see the need to go elsewhere!!!! We have tried the "one" other local Indian to ourselves which was most enjoyable but I have to say we do prefer The Cinnamon Bay......Not only great food but we are always addressed by our names and the staff are very curteous and friendly.Also, if your a little unsure of what to order, the staff will help and guide you with your preferences..........not a bad thing as most people stick to what they like best.......mine being a chicken balti.....lol.If you haven't visited recently give them a try, the decor is most inviting and relaxing.......superb effort.......well done.

My husband an I regularly eat at Cinnamon Bay and try to take friends and family when we can. The food is excellent, with a vast and imaginative menu. The service is always great; the staff are welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. If they are aware of your special occasion you can expect a little treat :-) There is a loyalty scheme for takeaways and a friendly little bar to socialise at while waiting for takeaways.

First time we'd been there for quite a while as we usually go further a field for a curry. It was fairly early on a Saturday evening, but quite busy. Restaurant was light and airy and comfortable. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was very good and we enjoyed our choices.

Every time I go to this restaurant I know I am going to have an authentic, very tasty meal. The staff are so welcoming and will go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and enjoy your meal. I went to this Restraunt and this was the worst experience of my life soon as we walked in one of the Thursday night there was a waiter wearing a waistcoat on sitting down playing on his mobile strait way he Come up to us asking what we want he put us in a far end separate room where no one can see us dumping the menu on the table still looking at his phone and asking for our drinks not giving us a chance to took at the drink list within a few min after our drinks been served he asked for our order rushing us and we did not look at the menu his telling us what to have he was wearing a jeans at work unprofessional making us feel like we walking in a American cowboy pub another person come to serve our food not knowing what he was serving serving wrong food on wrong plate and the first starter we had was full of colour with no spices at all. after paying our bill the value was very high I don't thick I would be coming back again overall it was a nightmare i would say they need to look at others restaurant

We visited the Cinnamon Bay to try their newly launched Sunday Lunchtime Buffet. The selection of fresh home cooked dishes with starters and main courses were generously and immaculately displayed for the diners. With vegetarian and meat dishes, rice' naan breads and traditional trimmings to choose from there was pleanty for every taste. I indulged in a taste of a number of dishes which, without exception, were superb and genuinely amongst the finest of Indian cuisine that I have eaten anywhere. This new Sunday lunch buffet makes a delightful change from a traditional Sunday roast or pub lunch and I reccommend that you put it on your agenda for next Sunday's outing.

We recently stayed at Riverside Caravan Park and having arrived late we needed to arrange an evening meal. Having agreed we would have an Indian Takeaway I set off to find one and came accross the Cinnamon Bay. The staff were very helpful and struck up a pleasant conversation about the types of Indian Food we liked and offered advice. Having ordered our food, it was ready in very short time, was hot and when I arrived back at the caravan, the quality and quantity was excellent value. My wife even double checked the bill receipt because she could not believe what we had, had cost so little. This restuarant is a gem, and very family orientated. Well worth a visit, we will be going again.

Always great food here and great ambiance usually. Sat evenings tend to be very popular and limited seating often can lead to finding yourself seating intimately with total strangers. They need to say no sometimes to prevent this as very off putting when you are inches away from others.

Cinnamon Bay is trying to pass itself off as the Royal Bengal - listed on various sites as the Royal Bengal Lounge - trying to benefit from the good reputation of the Royal Bengal which 1/3 of a mile down the road - this is misleading to customers outside of the area.I have eaten in this restaurant on a variety of occasions and over time the food slowly became less imaginative and the service average. I won't ever eat there again, poor show from what used to be a good restaurant.If they really want to compete with other restaurants in the area they should concentrate on food and service rather than trying to mislead customers who think they are ordering from the Royal Bengal.

This is my local Indian and since trying this place by recommendation about 5 years a go, I've never found another restaurant as tasty as this one! The food is consistantly delicious with brilliant portion sizes and at fair prices too. Eating in is very nice with a lovely warm environment or you can phone your order in and pick it up. All the guys are so friendly and always have time for a chat whilst you sit at their bar having a beer waiting for your order. I always recommend this place to friends and I've never once heard a bad word. Keep up the great food and happy service. There is only one thing I would love to see to improve this and that is a delivery service, I would buy from here twice as much if you delivered.

Went for the first time to Cinnamon Bay last night and was very impressed. Really good poppadoms and supplied with loads of dips.The flavour of the curry was so yummy -the meat in the dish is good quality and lots of it! The most meat I have seen in a curry before.The naan bread was huge as well and really good flavours. Nothing was greasy and I couldn't finish my meal. Would defiantly come back again!

Not a bad Indian set in the village of Hamble, service was very good and attentive, menu has some interesting dishes, and the food wasnt bad.Regrettably it doesnt have the wow factor!, but worth a visit if your on a night out in Hamble

We have been visiting the restaurant for the past 11 years!!! My husband move to hamble 11 years ago an raved about the restaurant back then, when I followed him here I understood what he meant. We are originally from Bradford so know our curries so they had to be good. The food is amazing and since the introduction of the specials you think you know what your gonna have but chatting to the boys will most probably change your mind!!! The service is brilliant by the time we are out of the car our drinks are waiting on the bar!!! Most of the takeaway family are regulars and we all share our reviews on the new editions. If you don't know what you want just ask the boys they will recommend different dishes and will cook to your taste and always deliver. Last night I had my old school chicken bhuna and my husband had the new lamb shank again amazing keep up the good work!!!

I work a lot in Hamble and use this place a lot, the special is great value £13.50 starter main rice or naan and a pint or a glass of wine. The owner works there most nights so I can only say that the bad reviews must have been on his night off ! Well done cinnamon bay I love your food.

we regularly use the takeaway service in addition to frequent trips to the restaurant. Best indian food outside of India as far as we're concerned. The team are great and really welcoming and it's disappointing to see nagative reviews... i'm sure if there were issues the boys would put them right at the time.In summary, food and service in our experience is always good here!

We were arriving late into Hamble Marina and called this restaurant via Phone /Yell Pages while still at sea so a true blind selection. We booked for 10 PM and arrived onetime to find the staff very welcoming and we were quickly served with drinks and popadoms etc. Good wide selection of dishes and very competitively priced compared to similar in area, 7 of us all had different starters & mains, these came promptly and all seated were impressed by flavours and freshness of ingredients. Certainly a place to visit again and we will recommend to other sailing friends.

Food was okay, pretty greasy to be honest. Food wasn't hot but at a good level when asked to be made hot.Service was shocking, and the waiters don't really care about you. I asked them what's their best vegetarian dish and the waiter said they're all pretty much the same! So i'm guessing if i go there again, and order another dish, it'd taste exactly the same, just with different vegetables in it! I asked him what one of the dishes is like, and he took the menu and began reading out the description, BLATANTLY making up a response!I'd avoid this place unless you're desperate for an average indian meal. The only "plus" is that the prices are reasonable, but reflected in the food and service.

Food is usually OK. I especially like the sag chicken. Service is variable. Staff seem more interested in finishing early than serving anyone. Sometimes they are just plain rude. Don't bother tipping them, they'll still treat you like dirt next time you visit.

This was my first visit to Cinnamon Bay having just moved house. We went in for a takeaway although there is a restaurant should you wish to sit in. On arrival the waiter presented us with menu's and offered a drink while we wait which we declined. The menu shows the restaurant prices but if you want takeaway then you get 20% off. The menu itself was nothing like other Indian restaurants it had a superb selection of dishes a lot of which I had never heard of. The manager told us the menu gets changed a lot so as to give people better variety but they always have the sort after dishes such as Tikka, Korma etc. We both opted for chicken tikka I had it with boiled rice, my partner had it with chips and a naan bread. I can't eat anything too spicy but this dish was perfect. The sauce was smooth the chicken was nice big chunks, the rice was fluffy and not stodgy which is exactly as it should be! The chips were thin cut and the naan was enough for us both to share. This Indian is the best I have ever tasted. The restaurant sources a lot of the ingredients locally and use low calorie oil. The meals were not the slightest bit greasy. I can't wait till next week when we go back so I can try something else
