Food was great but was half an hour late

A top evening. A well established Putney restaurant that cooks brilliant Indian food. The food and wine menus are helpfully compact, making choices easier and I reckon heightens the results! Delicious all round… perfectly cooked rice, nans, samosas , baked prawns ….and the curries!!Easy to get to, clearly full of locals ( all ages) and family owned. The service was tops too. And they own the wine shop next door. Thank you again.

Lugar local para mí y había oído cosas buenas y estaba muy emocionado. Sin embargo, estaba increíblemente decepcionado. Era increíblemente caro teniendo en cuenta lo pequeñas que eran las porciones y la carne en todos los currys estaba tan seca y el sabor tampoco era fantástico. Las chuletas de cordero eran increíblemente sabrosas, pero 4 por £ 23 era tan caro. Además, 2 de los 4 eran chuletas increíblemente pequeñas.

We just had a lovely take-away dinner, (lamb biryani) not only tasty, but one could taste it had been prepared with love. If we would live in the UK, we would definitely come back. Thank you, Sir, for your care and suggestions.

Loved this restaurant! The menu is extensive and the food was so good. Will definitely be dining there again and recommending to friends...a must try! Service was very friendly and efficient.

We used to go to Green Spice next door and have, in the past few years been going to Taste Of Raj and the owners of both have been the most hospitable and generous people we have ever met and we make sure we come once a week. We are served by Emon mostly and is wonderful. Definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere nice to eat with a friendly atmosphere :)

Honestly amazing food just like homemade like my mum,food is so tasty and always better when shared with family. Many thanks to @Taste of Punjab and keep that level up as always..

Great food and friendly staff. I am a bit deaf and it gets a bit noisy if it’s busy. I tend to go early to avoid the busy time My favourite is the lamb pistachio that is a mixture of lamb and paneer cheese in a creamy sauce.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Very family friendly. Been a few times now to celebrate birthdays. Great service and friendly staff.

Por dónde empezar... muy acogedor a la llegada y se muestra rápidamente a nuestra mesa donde otros miembros de la familia ya estaban allí. El servicio y la calidad/sabor de la comida era excepcional. Gracias al servicio profesional/amistoso del Equipo Madhu para hacer del cumpleaños de nuestra hija una noche memorable y esperamos volver a visitarlo en un futuro cercano. Recomiendo encarecidamente Madhu’s.

this place is now called 5star, should be 1star! Awful service, food below par, from the moment we went in, it seemed we was an inconvenience and the whole meal was rushed so we would leave quicker. Workers dressed in their pyjamas whilst paying more attention to their phones than people coming in.

Excellent fresh Indian cuisine prepared within short reasonable time. Available for take away or collect. Very tasty accompaniments.

The curries tasted like perfume onion bhajis were tiny considering the price worst meat samosas I have ever had burnt and dry glad I had a 30% off discount even then it’s still not worth the money will definitely not being ordering from here again

Excellent customer service, Shane and The Sundarban Tandoori Team are so friendly, accommodating and professional. Eleven of us had dinner on Saturday 19th April, all our food was cooked to perfection and delicious. I’d not been to the restaurant before last night but I now know why my friends go there on a regular basis. Thank you, Shane and The Sundarban Tandoori Team for a great night.
