Good restaurant and worth every penny. The staff was very hospitable and kind. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the food. Ordered choley bhature, rogan josh and garlic naan, lamb seekh kebab and stuffed chilli. Well, honestly everything tasted amazing. It felt like home. The only issue I faced was the leftovers being packed. Not happy that the choley and rogan josh got packed in the same box. Rest, no complain about the food. Chef’s great whereas staff can use some training.

If you go here I would say only do take away as their sit in service is terrible the wait is extremely long even when the place was empty there was no water or anything given during the wait and people who came after us got their food before overall a very bad experience.

One of the best shop. What a great taste just like mom made food. Proper Punjabi Taste, they are 100% honest with their name “Taste of Punjab”. Friendly staff, chef is such a great personality, good atmosphere provide by the owner makes food more tasty. I just love this shop and visited regularly.

We went for a lovely long lunch. Very warm welcome on arrival. The Punjab menu is great. We loved the samosas, chilli paneer, butter chicken and all the vegetable curries. Great selection of authentic breads too. I had a delicious aloo paratha. Authentic, fresh food in an uncomplicated decor. Highly recommend.

Family-run restaurant with amazing North Indian food!! Highly recommend for someone craving an authentic experience. All dishes we ordered were deliciously with generous portion sizes though heavy on oil (as is the demand of the cuisine) Personal favourites : Pani Puri, Aloo Tikki chat, Garlic naan, Chole Bhature.

I really enjoyed the Punjabi dishes I tried here, and the service was excellent--it's definitely worth a visit. Thanks so much for a delicious meal, I can't wait to come back!

I’ve just stuffed my face with the best samosa chaat and keema prontha ever!!! This was followed by 3 cups of dudh pathi, milk cake and chumchum, the service is amazing and the food absolutely banging. This is my new desi family favourite!

This is a belated review that I have been meaning to write since a long time for this wonderful place. Chef Harjeet's cooking is absolutely amazing, and I had the best vindaloo of my life here. The staff member, Ranjeet, is very friendly and welcoming. If you are interested in Punjabi cuisine, this restaurant is definitely a must-go.

Taste of Punjab has been one of the iconic food places in Southall offering complete Indian dishes and sweets. Their food is freshly cooked everyday and served. They also sell savouries like samosas, rolls and chaats. Remember to eat their chicken roll, lamb kebabs and biryanis. They offer both eat in and take aways.

Hidden gem in Southall. I discovered this place a couple of months ago and been four times since. The food here is incredible. Some of the best dishes I've ever tasted including the tarka daal, makhani daal and Gobi. The staff here are so lovely. Wonderful service, my mother in law loves the authenticity of the place.

The food was really tasty and I can feel the taste of punjabi food. I ordered kadhai paneer with roti and veg biryani, it was such a delicious meal and chapati with ghee adds more to the taste. Biryani was amazing too I will definitely recommend it and of course I will also come back for another dish.

This was the pure authetic Indian food I had in UK. Price was so reasonable food tasted just like back in home and the staff was so generous they did increase the spice level according to our choice. Loved the experience. Highly recommended

This is a small restaurant in a residential corner and honestly I was skeptical with quality as the decor doesnt leave a great impression. But the food was authentic Punjab with a great balance between spices and flavours. Both cholae bhature and lamb bhuna were extremely good and the hospitality was authentically Indian. Will go next time I am in Southhall and will surely recommend for the lovers of Punjabi food. Well Done to all staff.

Customer service is good but food quality is not very good. Ordered chana bhatura was too much spices and no taste. It was tasteless.

No thrills venue but super friendly staff serving mouth watering food. Everything we ordered ranged between the merely good to excellent and amazing value for money. It's not on the high street and there's a lot of choice in Southall but this place is well worth with your time. I look forward to returning

We were just driving past and saw this restaurant and omg the food is just amazing from chaats to main course . Alook tikki chaat is delish and Dal makhni and butter chicken is just out of the world can tell the food here is made with love . Also value for money 💰 I highly recommend 👌

Very tasty food. We had chole bhature, aloo tikki chaat, samosa and paneer roll. Everything was mouth watering and quite authentic. The service was very good and the chef himself came to ask for the feedback for the food. The food and the service, both were amazing!

We went to Southall with family who was visiting from India and were longing good Indian food. Found Taste of Punjab on google and wanted to try. Was very surprised that the food was sooo tasty, so fresh and just like home cooked. The flavours for each dish was so different , the meat was fresh and the naans were very soft and fresh too. The management was very accommodating of us making small requests to make the food suitable to our taste and making sure everything was right for us . The lamb on bone , methi chicken and onion bhaji are a must try. Their sweets as too good too !! I would definitely go back to this place again !

Visited hotel on 14th July 2023 with family (8) members. We are from Hyderabad. Staff and owner were very friendly and fabulous hosts. Food was excellent and they went out of the way to make it great experience for us. Even gave complementary sweet and tea. Mutton curry and Methi chicken, garlic Naan , tea strongly recommended. Please visit them.

Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, not too far from the Southall Station (~2miles) and main streets of Southall, is Taste of Punjab.... and what a tasty dinner it was, for a group of 10 in London, on business. The food was fresh and yummylicious. Sarson ka Saag (a dish made from mustard leaves+spices) came without its twin, makki di roti (flat bread made of corn), since his chef had gone home. Harjeet managed to find a chef who came in just to make this for us in the late evening hour. The Aloo Paratha (flatbread with spiced potatoes) was a generous size, with a dollop of butter, as it should be, for an authentic Taste of Punjab. The lamb roghan josh, chicken kebabs, biryani and rotis, topped with Lassi (yoghurt based drink - salty or sweet options) were scrumptious. After this fulfilling repast (burp!), the walk to the station is desired... 7 Stars for Customer Service - Harjeet kept his restaurant open for us despite it being over his closing time, and took care of all our requests; 5 Stars for Food - as it lived up to it's promise of an authentic 'Taste of Punjab'. Shukriyaa (Thank You) Harjeet and Team, for making it a memorable dinner for us!

Came for a snack & ended up sampling more than we could possible eat. The mixed parantha, sagg, Dhal, chat, were all home made and absolutely amazing. Seemed like a family run place catering for locals. It’s a cafeteria style place which is a bit basic but the owners are quite rightly proud of every dish they prepare and serve.

There are numerous Indian takeaways in Southall, and perhaps I should try them but, when the food (and in particular the veg samosas and the excellent chutney supplied with them) is this good, I keep returning. Don't be put off by the basic look of ToP, the food is excellent, the prices are very reasonable and the staff are always polite and helpful. In fact, you can see the crew making the food fresh from your position at the counter.

Wow! Very unassuming place off of the main broadway of Southall but amazing flavors and polite service. We ordered chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, seekh kabob, chole bhatura, saag chicken, and daal. All of it was excellent! Very fresh food and you can feel the pride the chef and his team take in making sure you are enjoying. My family and I are hoping to go back to try the other options.

Family night in with taste of Punjab rather then going and pick the food up we decided to order it through Uber Eats The food was spot on and perfect slightly chilly with the lamb other wise very happy with the service given through Uber Eats .

Love this place for food, a good Indian restaurant. I would recommend their lamb vindaloo, chilli paneer, and their butter chicken is lovely. Keema paratha is a tad dry, could do with some ghee or butter. Gobi paratha is the best. Mango lassi is great, a bit too thick at times but that’s not their fault I suppose. Reasonable pricing and the staff are really nice.

We ordered takeaway from here today for the first time and it was incredible! We ordered the paneer samosa, aloo tiki, paneer wrap and chicken wrap and there all tasted great, not too spicy, excellent flavours, delivered on time and the food was piping hot on arrival. Will definitely be ordering from here again and have already recommended this place to friends and family. Very reasonably priced as well.

I had a very important business meeting, I had the kebab roll and I had some veggie samosas. Food came very fast and was very tasty, loved the authentic look and made me feel like I was back in India. The Staff are amazing and would defo eat again!

We are getting taste of Punjab every Friday for lunch and we love it. Best Punjabi food in England, ALWAYS FRESH, TASTY, never disappointed with their food.

Really tasty and well cooked all at reasonable prices. My favourites are saag paneer, lamb curry and the samosas. You should definitely check it out.

Since an year i was waiting to have a tasty punjabi food in UK. Tried punjabi food in many places .I enjoy eating punjabi vegetarian food . Had 2bathuras with paneer tikka masala and took parcel for dinner also , i took 2 gobi parathas with same gravy. My hubby and friends tried keema paratha with chicken gravy .Everyone enjoyed the hot and tasty food and was happy for the food . 4 keema parathas ,chicken curry ,panner curries -2 , gobi parathas -2 ,bathuras - 2 came for 39£. Worth for money. I have to give 5/5 for the food .

Hi, came here for lunch on Boxing Day looking forward to eating in the cafe, but due to them being short staffed the cafe was closed , which was quite disappointing.So we had to order food to go. The guy serving us was apologetic and explained how hard it was to get staff to work on public holidays. so we decided to go ahead and order food to go, we had , large butter chicken, small daal makhni, and saag, two paranthas and two tandoori naans, and a box of mathi,The bill came to around £25.By the time we got home to eat, the naans had become a bit chewy, but that was ok as the food was very tasty, however the paranthas were made from brown roti flour( it seemed ) and I didn't find them that nice, but that's ok as I won't order them again.We had to wait around 20mins for our order.

This is an absolutely gem of a little restaurant. The food is proper authentic Punjabi and tastes amazing. The service from the staff is also very good. They also alter the cooking according to your taste. Less spicy for example.The range of the items on the menu is also surprisingly varied and quite large.Another reason to visit this restaurant is the price of the dishes. It's very reasonably priced (especially compared to some of the other more expensive restaurants in Southall).Very impressive and highly recommended.

My father in law visits this place regularly for some time and bought some food for his daughter to take away, however restaurant server argued with him over getting the order wrong and wouldn't back down, help or suggest an alternative. To top it off, they over charged him as they gave less amount. Be warned they are not trust worthy. Watch out for what you order and pay for.

Pero yo he visto antes.El servicio fue rápido y eficiente,llegamos a la casa y comimos la comida un poco más tarde, llegó a decir que la comida era deliciosa, la de pollo deshuesada methi era tan sabrosa, con grandes trozos de pollo, el darka daal también estaba muy bien, el pollo a la mantequilla también era sabroso, y la naans estaban bien recalentados.Deliciosa comida a un precio razonable.

Don't judge the restaurant by it's looks. I was looking for an Indian restaurant and this restaurant had a 4.9 review. I had to try the food here. We ordered butter chicken, mutton biryani and veg samosa. I have not had such amazing samosa since I've come to london and the same goes for the butter chicken. The biryani tasted so homely, it's like eating your mom's cooked food.

One of the best Punjabi food had in a looooong time in London. Good sarso da saag and beautiful roti. Waah mouth watering. Definitely will visit again. Good menu options as well. Economical filling tasty good tasty food.

I have had a number of dishes here and always satisfied. Excellent food and prices are reasonable. The aloo paranthas are so tasty here and the best in west London. The lamb biryani is nice and spicy...a real punjabi taste!

If you want the real taste of the punjab then this is the place to come for vegetarian dishes and meat dishes I love their mixed stuffed prota which is the stuffed veg bread in English got their regularly when I feel peckish or just want some real good old Indian kebabs like back home in punjab so what you waiting pop down to get the best food in southall

Great place to pick up your favourite Indian Punjabi snacks such as Samoosas, pakoras and chaat. My family always rate their veg Samoosas as the best Samoosas in the whole of Southall. We haven't tried their curry dishes so I can't comment on that.

The food is authentic and delicious; service is always pleasant and fast; eat in or take out - always great food and good value for money!

Ordered a takeaway on last Wednesday food took 45 minutes which was very average a lot of spices were used unnecessary at the best I would say it was average I am not sure if I would return spend £37 for 3 peoples take away

my last review I talked about the daal, it was a bit bland. So this time round I bought more daal, butter chicken , and some potatoe veg curry.

Tried some tikka rolls and they were ok and priced very competitively . The portions were huge and a struggle to finish one . The samosas are spicy and a good choice of fillings but very nice with flavours but again quality can vary .

Popped in here today 23 April , got some large daal to take out and some somosas

Since my husband and I got introduced to Taste of Punjab by a Punjabi Sikh friend few years ago we've eaten here several times, and really love the food.

I have visited here number of times now & not once I have been disappointed. I usually pick up order for work due to the love of their samosas they go down perfectly.

I can't believe how tasty their meat samosa are, I've not tried anything else YET, but really good. I would recommend they change charging people for chutney as its one small tub for 10 samosa.

One of the nicer places to eat in Southall. Excellent service and food is always hot, fresh and tasty. We have tried home delivery and they are brilliant. They should be on Just eat.
