Great Sri Lankan little buffet. I highly recommend it if you like spicy food. The wait is a bit longer than because most of the time it's a one man operation, but it is well worth the wait and you always know that the quality is consistently good.

This place is close to my heart. Freshly made Masala Tea, Parotas and spicy omelette, is more than enough to make my day. The other item that I order is egg roll and that’s dope. Simple, reasonable, healthy, spicy food and most importantly Anna the main guy he puts his heart to prepare all this dishes. Nice hospitable staff as well. Mutton curry is a must to try.

I visited this place many many years ago, when I moved to the area, I was working nearby, back then they were situated opposite where I worked. It was a colleague of mine who actually had some for lunch and I questioned where he had got it from. That was the first and last time I purchased, it was lovely back then. So I recently went there, my taste buds fancied a big change opposed to kfc, greenford kebab etc etc. I actually really enjoyed the take out. It was a one off, I actually wanted to go to either Beirut deli or hot bread. But it is no longer there. I don't understand, restaurant after restaurants are open, but not a single genuine Jamaican restaurant, not a good Indian restaurant nearby.

I visited the restaurant yesterday afternoon with my my family. We ordered different kind of Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine. I must say this is one of the rare places in the entire UK you can find authentic Sri Lankan taste and for extremely affordable prices. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!

Being half Sri Lankan, when I saw this place on viewing my new house, I knew it was a good omen. Moving day evening was the first time I had food from here. Excellent. Since then, I have ordered a taste of home many times, and it never disappoints. My faves are the mutton curry and the Jaffna curry with string hoppers and pol sambal. The aubergine curry is also pretty amazing. The short eats (mutton rolls, etc) are also worth trying. Really good. Highly recommend, especially if you like spicy food that has plenty of delicious flavour.

I was coming back from work and was hungry and all I can say about Colombo taste is it is Absolutely poor Service and rude attitude from the staff. I simply walked in to place my order, and had my food cold and soggy and full of grease. The staff said it is served fresh, but tasted so out of date and expired. Without a doubt the worst experience I have had to do with food. And I do not recommend this place to anyone. In addition to that I tried to give constructive criticism. And yet I was yelled at and told to “Get Lost!” Absolute disgrace. Hygiene is also very poor.

This is the best food I've eaten in London! The place looks simple and tucked away, but the food is delicious, and the chef Thiba is very friendly. Love it and would recommend to anyone seeking authentic food

Driving by and noticed this place, popped in for some take out snacks, made our day! Absolutely delicious, we had 3 snacks each served with a dish of coconut sambal that was so lovely we wanted to go back for more, dishes very filling and perfectly spiced, couldn't believe this only cost £4.00 for everything, if I lived closer I would eat here every day!Thank you KT Colombo Taste, we will be back!

The mutton rolls they made when I lived there from 2002-2004 were the most addictive food ever, do they still make them?

One of the best places for Ceylon/Srilankan and South Indian food. Authentic cuisine and one of very few places where I would eat Home made food. Admire the effort and aroma taste of the every dish. Very colourful. They have freshly baked cakes and savouries. Also had foods catered for events. I recommended my families and friends.

I walked into the restaurant and the two gentlemen stared at me like I was gonna rob the place. Against my better judgment, I proceeded to request a table. At first, the server made me feel like I was intruding, anyway, I knew what I liked and quickly glanced over the menu and ordered the chili chicken and some brinjal dish. I went to town on my meal, using my hands and not stopping for a sip of water. I guess that gave me some cred and the server lost his standoffish attitude and checked up on me periodically. Anyway, both dishes were ok. Someone wrote that he felt his takeout was someone’s leftovers and I can’t be 100% certain mine was not. I did have some issues with the toilet after the meal but it could’ve been the spice and I lean towards loose stools at baseline so whatever…fwiw. Meal was ridiculously affordable cause those two dishes and a naan came out to just under £20.
