BNOVA Restaurant & Bar in Harrow

We had a party of 30 here and everyone agreed that the food was amazing, the service was polite and nothing was too much trouble. We initially needed to drop the cake and some balloons before the party and even though the restaurant was closed they opened so we could do this! We were not rushed at all during the time we were there - there isn't a 2 hour turnaround like other places! Highly recommend!

Omg this food is delicious!!! We tasted the malai kofta and they do jain food too Jain methi matar malai, It was outstanding!!! The mango lassi shots were also so unique. Has become my new go to place! Cleanliness and hygiene was also top notch!

Awesome service, staff very polite and friendly. The place is very nice and comfy Food is outstanding from starters to dessert Worth trying food is like what you would make at home. Atmosphere is awesome.

Paneer Tikka Masala might be one of the best around

I had my 40th birthday party here and everything was perfect. Planning and communication before the event was very good. Food on the day was tasty and guests really enjoyed it. No issues at all, everything was managed by the venue on the day and went better than I could have expected.

I held an anniversary function for my parents for around 70 people which was a great success. Everyone loved the food and the set up. Nikil was great at sorting everything out at such short notice aswell. Great menu and accommodations were made for vegan/jain too. Would definitely recommend for a function or general dining!

I regularly come to BNova Restaurant for take aways, and also as a member of an awesome weekly BNI networking group which often has 45+ people in attendance every Friday. The friendly staff and warm welcome is matched by the food which is always really tasty, and the service from Nikil and his BNova team is on point every time. Prepping lunch plates for 45+ people, and serving them all at the same time whilst catering for various Non Veg, Veg, No Onion / Garlic and Vegan options is a complex operation that they master with aplomb. Have also been here for a friends 40th birthday party and they put on a fabulous Indian buffet with a variety of starters and mains, and then turned the place into a dance floor with DJ banging out some classic numbers to party the night away! Well done BNova, cannot recommend you highly enough!

Today, I attended a weekly networking session hosted at this restaurant as a visitor. While others enjoyed paneer or chicken tikka wraps with salad and chips, ready plated for them, I had a vegan meal request. I was served a bowl of mogo (in a small oval serving dish) initially and later informed that roti would be provided, which was eventually served in a bread basket. When I inquired about the absence of chips and salad, I was informed that chips weren't included as they were fried with other items (fair enough). A small bowl of salad was brought out upon request. However, when I asked for a plate to properly enjoy my meal, the owner became irate, stating he wouldn't provide vegan options in the future. My simple request for a plate was met with hostility, despite its reasonable nature. This lack of customer service etiquette was disheartening and raised concerns about accommodating individuals with allergies. The incident left me hesitant to return to the restaurant or engage further with the networking group, as I would be compelled to contribute business to an establishment with such poor customer service. Additionally, the serving of kulfis alongside the mains, leading to them melting before they could be enjoyed, demonstrated a lack of foresight. It's important to note that I was part of a networking event, and witnesses can attest to the validity of my request for a plate and the dissatisfaction with the service provided. I don’t recommend this place. There are much nicer restaurants to give your business to, who would appreciate and deserve your patronage. Spend wisely and support those who support their customers.

I had my milestone birthday at the lovely Bnova on Saturday, and the food, ambience and service was exceptional! Everything was in order, the canapes were served in abundance…and the staff were polite, helpful and attentive. Well done to Nikil and his staff for making my day so special and a night to remember. Highly recommend this place, for a private party or just for dinner. Bravo!!

Excellent hospitality with delicious taste and I would say this servers and chef are well trained.

We booked this venue for an 18th birthday party. The food was great but what made the event was the hospitality and service. The whole team here is brilliant and will make your guests feel at home and look after the smallest details. You can't get a better venue and team for whatever is the occasion.

The Indian food here is exceptional. A truly Great service from manager and staff and the Sheekh kebabs are one of the best I’ve ever had. Methi chicken was incredible. They do Cobra beer on tap and prices are reasonable for the area. They do add 10% service charge to bill, I had no issues with that due to service. Can’t wait to return to try more dishes!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Bnova. There was a group of 16 of us and the evening ran soothly. The food was delicious, the staff were so helpful and accommodating and the atmosphere was great. Jaymit was really helpful in liaising with me in the lead up to the event. My guests all had a lovely time and everyone loved the good (both veg and non veg) as well as the cocktails/mocktails. Thank you to Jaymit, all the staff and the chefs at Bnova for making this an enjoyable birthday for me and my family.

I had food voucher to redeem and there is no information on the voucher itself with regard to terms and conditions and was told about them at billing and had to pay out cash. It is only matter of printing out details on the voucher itself. The food tasted okie, the service was fine.

We held a birthday party lunch here and everything went well including the organisation leading up to it. The manager was great at timekeeping which helped to make the day run smoothly and the staff were very attentive to the guests. Everyone enjoyed the event and the food tasted great.

Exceptional dishes, every mouthful was just wow! Service was very polite, friendly and professional. Loved the small tasters (on the house) from the kitchen and bar. This was my second visit and won't be the last!

We visited recently to celebrate a 40th birthday with family. Service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and staff were friendly. The food was delicious. Bnova combined a restaurant prepared feel with tastes of home cooking perfectly. We had several onion/garlic free dishes which were packed with flavour. If you’re planning a celebration then I’d highly recommend Bnova, they will work with you to plan your event with great care. We will be back!

We privately hired Bnova for my husband's 40th birthday. The owner was really friendly which instantly put us at ease at the time of booking the venue. WOW WOW WOW. A gem of a place and one that serves the finest drinks, and accompanied with the finest Indian infused food. Whether you pop in for a quick drink and a snack, or spending an evening downing cocktails and a tucking into a lovely meal from the a la carte menu, the service afforded to you by the staff will leave you wanting to come back here over and over again. A must visit.

Food is Delicious and good service.

We tried it for the first time yesterday. We ordered chicken tikka, chicken tikka special, chilli paneer and Peshawari Nan. I’m almost giving up ordering these dishes from Indian restaurants as for some reason the chicken is always cooked to the point all juicy succulence is gone. One of the dishes was made with chicken thigh and you have to really overcook thigh for it to be dry. It ended up being so ridiculously dry it couldn’t be enjoyed. Even the complimentary mint and chilli sauce didn’t help the food. There was no garnish so it was just a very uninteresting meal. The chilli paneer was ok. I’d say average as it was not a dish that would make me return but neither was it awful. The Nan was nice but one cannot order Nan alone, plus we’ve had better. Once upon a time it was possible to get fluffy fresh Nan with the most succulent, tasty, delicately spiced chicken tikka with fresh salad, those days seem to be long gone. Sadly, for some reason much like the stunning chicken dhansak, this now remains a dream of bygone eras not a dream any existing restaurant can deliver. EDIT jan 2024 The owner has either mistaken us for another client or is being deliberately misleading. If we buy food out we have the funds to buy or own drinks and we do not ask for free drinks. How much are drinks? By the way, adding garnish to dry food doesn't fix the problem. Concentrate on the feedback to improve your food, instead of silly replies, people spend money wanting to enjoy their food not to be disappointed!

We have been eating here for many years. Over the years, we have built a great relationship with the team. They always go the extra mile to make dishes to your taste. I can honestly say this is the most underated restaurant, in my opinion. I'm surprised how quiet it is sometimes considering the quality of the food and atmosphere. Food always ticks all the boxes, especially the chilli garlic mushroom. Hands down the best mushrooms anywhere by far, crispy coated in a tangy sauce. Naram til tikki is also one of our favourites. I love that crispy cornflakes and sesame seed coating. Jackfruit starter is also very good, as well as the manchurian. My wife is not so keen, but I love the deep smokey flavour of the tandoori mushrooms. Overall very well priced reasonable portions that u can actually finish. Well done guys keep up the great work. 5 star 🌟 plus from me.

Great place... Love the vibe and the food is delicious. So nice to have a Central London feel but in Stanmore. Plenty of parking the side roads. Veg options are great and will help with vegan / no onion no garlic.

I’m a chef so my view on food counts double🤣🤣 everything was absolutely first class. Tasty perfectly seasoned piping hot and not overly spicy. Chicken lollipops as a starter are a must the Kashmir lamb out of control and definitely the best mushroom rice I’ve ever eaten. Go try it you won’t be disappointed

Our first and impromptu visit here and first impressions were very good. Service standards were that of a high class restaurant and waiters were attentive. I dropped my fork and they presented me with a new one without even asking for one. Wow!!! Nice bar and food options are good and presentation if our order met the standards of Social Dhaba, which is rare to see elsewhere. Starters came quick and the mixed grill was an array of interesting meatsa and fish. The only downside of a mixed grill was that it came on a sizzler dish stacked like a double decker bus. Not really impressed and rather embarrassed at the sight of it but after it was taken away and separated, it looked more appealing and it was incredibly enjoyable. Rest of the food was top notch, tasty and also very enjoyable. The Tandoori Masala was OMG!!! The place was not packed being a Tuesday but we both really enjoyed our meal out and won't hesitate to return here again. We'll done.

The Indian cuisine that was served was absolutely delicious, and it was thanks to the hard work of Yatin, the restaurant owner. He was very humble and kind to us, making us feel very welcomed. We hosted a birthday party here. Nice intimate venue. Food was on point and variety for vegan food is great. Jeet was nothing but amazing, visited a few times after and he never forgets and treats you with upmost respect. Definitely will be coming back.

The venue was hired out for a fairly small birthday celebration. A pre-agreed price for the food and drinks was arranged with the owner. At the end of the event, a mandatory "service" fee was charged. It would have been nice to have known this charge in advance, as many of the other local venues included all mandatory costs within the original quote. Food was nice though. The event was well organised. My sister and brother-in-law did that. The venue was also well decorated. My sister did that. The photos also captured the event well. My sister took them also.

BNOVA is our go-to restaurant. Excellent food, service and staff. We've been there for dinner for two, family get togethers and school/college reunion. Perfect place for any event. 👍

I had my 40th party here on Saturday night and it went perfectly. The service on the night was great, the staff were so attentive, everything ran smoothly and the food was delicious. All my guests loved the food and the atmosphere at the venue. Highly recommend booking for a special occasion.

Quite unusually for an Indian restaurant these days the mains here were excellent and far better than the decent starters. The veg curries were superb and worth a repeat visit

We just had our 2nd family event at Bnova and both the times, the service and food has been excellent. We had around 40-45 people at both the events and Nikil and his team looked after all our needs from start to finish. Our guest really enjoyed food and were very impressed with the service. Will definitely be booking for our future events.

Little above the usual average, amuse bouche was tasty! Staff very friendly. No dish stood out, we made mistake of ordering dishes coated with same sauce. Good for locals, not worth travelling too far, might pop in again to try something different.

We went to celebrate early father's day and Bnova went above and beyond with their service. The lychee martini was great. The food was fantastic, especially the Bnova chicken lollipop and cashew nut special was fantastic. We all enjoyed our desserts especially the gaajjar ka halwo! Thanks Bnova.

Very friendly service with the food to match for

Great restaurant that has top service. We ordered starters and mains and 2 mini complementary treats were given. Aloo tikki and mango lasso shot. Both had vegan versions, which was nice. Wasn't a big fan of the (roasted) popadums, should have chosen fried, but the rest of the meal was great. Cocktails here are fab though! The soya chunk starters and fried mushrooms were my favourite. Biryani was served nicely and tasted fine. Not really a vegan option for dessert (sorbet) , so didn't have any.

My wife and I were peckish but not feeling massively hungry. Once we started eating our starters though, we could not help ourselves! The kebabs were divine! We also a chicken tikka special which was also lovely. We had great service with little extras thrown in. Would highly recommend if you enjoy Indian food.

The most excellent Indian food you could ask for! The service is amazing with complementary snacks and mango lassie 😍 the cocktails and mocktails are very very nice, went there for my husband's bday since it's so close by and wondered why we never went there before, sometimes there's a jewel right before you and you don't realise 👍 keep it up Bnova!

Thank you for an amazing dining experience. All the staff are so friendly. We weren’t rushed could take our time (which is a lost art in some restaurants) as they always want to hurry you along but definitely not the case here. We ordered our food with NONG (no onion no garlic) and they were highly accommodating. They made all our dishes without it and it was all absolutely delicious with tons of flavour. They even gave complimentary tikki (and ensured even this was NONG) and a special lassi shot. The decor is chic and really spacious. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you to all the staff at Bnova. You truly were brilliant. You can really tell you love what you do as this shone through in your behaviour mannerisms. Thank you once again.

What an amazing little place to have a great meal! Went there last weekend for my mum’s bday dinner- very low key with 5 of us and it was lovely. We were on a round table which was plus so that we could all chat and actually see each other. Great size portions for starters- we opted for all veggie plus no onion no garlic for my dad and every thing was tasty especially the tulsi paneer. In between there were a couple of extra touches from the chef including a shot of mango lassi which was a nice surprise. All in all great food, great service and great prices. Will definitely be back!

I had my 50th birthday here after a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. We chose a Sunday afternoon as I wanted it quiet and it certainly was but it just meant we got the undivided attention of the staff. Everyone was delighted with the quality of the food and stylish presentation. The decor was modern, spacious but still welcoming. From the street outside nothing really stands out, so this really is a hidden gem. I'd love to go back and try more from the menu.

We were celebrating a birthday on Saturday 25th Feburary with about 20 people. The service from the Bnova team including the manager was fabulous, the food was fantastic but the atmosphere for the party was good. Thank you Team Bnova for making our celebration a great day. Mahendra Shah
