my first time experience with social dhaba ,delicious food, good ambiance and service too , I would recommend Sakshi for service incharge on table, she is so kind and so professional and also recommend specialists food on their place , keep eye on customers what they want or like , I highly recommend this place for family or friends get together .Also thanks to Barman Blifton for amazing cocktail my favourite Porn star martini.Me and my frnd we really enjoyed alot.Highly recommended

Came in to the restaurant for mine and my wife's first wedding anniversary date night and I can't fault anything! Sakshi was our waitress for the evening and what else can I say other than speedy service and amazing food? The ambience was brilliant and my wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the service, both by Sakshi and front of house, who made sure our evening was memorable and fun! We ordered Aloo Papdi Chaat, Chilli Paneer, Aloo Gobi Gajar Matar curry, Shahi Paneer and Butter Naan. I tell you something, the aloo papdi chaat was just the best I have had at any restaurant! All the food was amazing and the drinks.... I opted for a simple cider whilst my wife ordered the Agni Aam Sutra (highly recommend this drink if you like spicy, sweet and mango!) To top off the evening, they gave us a complimentary chocolate cake, served on a 'Happy Anniversary' plate which really shows that they went above and beyond to make our experience that much more amazing! I certainly will be back again for future occasions but props to the chefs, bartenders and our waitress Sakshi for making this visit really special!

This was my first time here and the food and service did not disappoint! We ordered a mix of vegetarian and meat starters and mains, everything was flavourful, hot and fresh. The drinks were beautifully made and everything was served with a smile and speed! Sakshi, Priya and Blifton really looked after us. Amazing night, would definitely recommend for a special occasion, really good music, nice ambience and the food was some of the best Indian food I’ve had!

It's a nice restaurant with decent food, but unfortunately the service when we came here was very poor. They took ages to bring out our food and then asked us to rush whilst eating it as they had another booking coming. I also feel the food was a little overpriced and there are very good options in the area.

Delicious food and attentive, friendly service. The well-dressed gentleman at the host stand was warm and welcoming from the outset. Riddhima was super sweet and looked after us so well. Went for my grandad's birthday and had a party of 23 of is included children. Atmosphere was good - weekend went Sunday lunchtime. Price was a bit crazy £40 per person for "bottomless" food but not taking away (even though you have paid for the food). Food was overall good, especially the starters. The mains were more oily and salty and did have a dodgy stomach the next day. But overall enjoyed the food - just mainly the starters

Went for a family lunch recently. The ambience is really good so is the food. Almost all the items we ordered ( veg) were outstanding but special mention to the Veg Manchurian and their Naan bread. Our host was Riddhima and did a great job. Highly recommended if you want high quality authentic indian food.

Lunchtime treat. We chose the Vegetarian and meat Tali’s. Beautifully presented platter with a selection of eight different dishes, rice, naan bread and roti. A delicious range of flavours and textures, that were not too spicy.

We visited Social dhaba last week , this was our first experience going to Social Dhaba and we were served today by Sakshi. Apart from everything which was a five star, Sakhi's polite and pleasing personality made everything super star. We went for dinner and was served by lovely Sakshi, who was ever smiling, promt, and courteous. We order crispy corn, lamb chops( they were a bit chewy), and chicken 65. For the main course, we order veg kofte and lamb rogan josh accompanied with family naan and rotis. Food and drinks along with service was good. Would recommend anytime.

Such a nice place. Fancy but not intimidating, and a lovely mix between traditional and modern Indian and fusion cuisine. Kamal made us feel very looked after and was very attentive. Booked to celebrate a birthday. Served by a pleasant young man, Kamal, who was very attentive. Mock tail was smooth and refreshing. It was fun to share with the family. Food was delicious, cooked to perfection. They even brought a surprise, piece of yummy chocolate cake with candle to mark the occasion, at the end. Really enjoyed the experience today.

We got a takeaway for my 50th birthday, but went in to collect it & the restaurant was very busy, which surprised me as it was mid week. I figured it must be a good sign! I was right. It was the best takeaway I've had in a while! All 5 of us (2 adults & 3 teens) loved our meals. I had the Kadhai Vegan Lamb (because I'm the kind of vegetarian that misses meat!) and it was amazing. The texture was very meat like, similar to a stew in the pressure cooker. There was a decent 'meat' to sauce ratio and the flavours were rich & spicy. Heat level was just right for me - spicy but not overpowering - but a bit too much for my husband. My daughters both had Safed Gosht & really liked it. My son had Handi Chicken & was also impressed. It was spicier than he expected [guide on the menu would be helpful], but not too hot. It was quite expensive for a takeaway (average £15 pp without rice) so wouldn't be a midweek can't-be-bothered-to-cook takeout, but was so good that it was worth it for a special occasion. There was a discount for collection, which was good. Collection was quick and easy. Nice bag! Nothing to do with Social Dabha, but worth knowing, is that it was hard to find a parking spot to be able to collect. Two people - one going in while the other drives around, is advisable if possible. Otherwise leave enough time to find / wait for a parking spot on the High Street!

We were at SD at the weekend to celebrate a big birthday. We had a great time. The food was amazing - the Soya chomps in particular. Thanks to all involved at SD for looking after us, especially the birthday girl!!

Kamal , our waiter is brilliant , very friendly, and advised us on some very tasty dishes on the menu . Very friendly and brings the prepared food very quickly and hot. Cleans the table of empty dishes and very alert and attentive to every need. Jamal’s customer care is one of his hallmarks. We visit this restaurant very frequently and luckily, Kamal served us few times and his mannerism , quality of service excellent.
