Food is good but pricey. Screaming unruly kids on tables near us spoilt the evening for us.

We had heard a lot about this place and decided to visit the place for a Sunday lunch. The place is very spacious and a wonderful ambience. The decor is chic and modern with an ethnic touch. The service was attentive and good. The cocktails had a desi touch and were well made. The starters were very tasty and good portions. The palak patta chaat was a standout. We were slightly disappointed with the mains both in terms of taste and quantity. Over all a good place for some quality Indian food.

Food was incredible, huge variety of dishes and some catered to a peanut allergy. Service was good considering a large table. Busy, noisy and bustling atmosphere at peak times on weekends so not for everyone but we enjoyed. Palak paneer was next level but the masala tea is not the best. Would 100% go back.

We thought of going to a different place for a celebration and we found this Social Dhabha. It was a right decision as we really enjoyed it. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Loved it.

We had been wanting to try Social Dhaba for quite some time, and it has the potential to become our favourite high-end Indian restaurant. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff who took us to our table. They were attentive, polite, and made a special effort to engage with my kids. For starters, we ordered the Basil Paneer Tikka and the Mixed Grill Platter. Both dishes were bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection with a lovely char. The lamb chops stood out as the highlight of the platter, tender and juicy. For our main course, we chose the Murgh Makhanwala, which was creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet, and the Hariyali Gosht, had marinated lamb tikka that was tender. Although I would have preferred it spicier, both dishes were rich, aromatic, and had a generous amount of meat. Portion sizes were substantial, and the prices were reasonable. The only downside was the naan. At £4.74, the garlic naan was pathetically small and cut into 3 little pieces. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent food. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of the menu.

Beautiful Indian Kitchen in NW London. Service was incredible and atmosphere was great. Food is good quality and tasty. It was a bit dearer than I was expecting for this part of London but guessing that due to the investment in the establishment. Was well managed in run up to the xmas period - although I was a bit confused that the service wasn't included as standard in the bill - the staff who were working tirelessly weren't given their due and had to point this out when the bill came. The other thing to point out is finding parking nearby in the evening is a small nightmare, so by mindful of this. Try to arrive early to find parking. All in all a great evening had by all, will be visiting again.

Really impressed by this place being able to cater to vegan and gluten-free diets with a couple of starter options (apart from mogo, which is usually the only thing other North Indian restaurants do). Ambience and service excellent too. Would go again if others I was going with were non-vegetarian. As with all North Indian restaurants this place is expensive.

Great Service, brilliant design in the restaurant very contemporary. As for starters, the kebabs were out of the freezer and warmed up, was not expected to pay a premium price. Told the waiter as a feedback.

Service is really good, Kumar ji served us and he is great asset to the venue. The starters (chat and kurkuri bhindi) are recommended, aim dishes are good to have but the spice level is strong. They can moderate the chillies level if you request.

Starters were excellent- highly recommend the salmon and the Dhaba chicken 65 to start. The chilli fish is also very good. For mains I recommend the saag paneer and the Garlic naans. Given how good the food is, definitely book in advance.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Social Dhaba with family and friends. It was really an awesome experience. The food was lovely and the cocktails were just super awesome! Joy the bartender out there knows his job like the back of his hand! Really super!

What an experience it was. They made us feel at home beyond 7 Seas right from the ambience, the interaction, the service, the food and special mention for the Doughnut gulab jamun. It was lip smacking , the taste the flavour. And yes their cocktail the khatta jamun. The staff were Amazing and helpful. Special shoutout to the Gorgeous Ms. Sakshi, Mr. Blifton and Mr. Joy. We ordered several dishes which all tasted very different and individual. Unique dishes such as the basil paneer and jackfruit biryani were amazing and are rare with other indian restaurants. Despite being very busy we were not rushed and well looked after. The Manager accommodated us with our friends arriving late due to a long drive, which was hugely appreciated. Ordered the lotus stem chaat and soya achari tikka, both of which were really tasty and well made. Very good in all aspects .. initial table allocated for 13 people was inadequate but staff soon moved us to more suitable accommodation. Service and food was tops and the star of the evening was undoubtedly Sakshi (5 stars)who catered to all our needs with patients and a smile.

The mixed meat platter was great value for money and a good portion size to share with few people. We liked the daal makhani for main although it could have been spicier.

The quality and experience of Social Dhaba always amazes me. I have been here countless times and it never disappoints. Chose this restaurant for my 24th Birthday celebrations. From start to finish, organisation and communication with management, especially Mr Shekhar was extremely amazing and helpful. I was able to make choices for a set menu and received a whole package for myself and guests at an extremely well driven price. On the day of the event was introduced to Sakshi whom had taken care of our table the entire time, Sakshi was present at every call. Table settings, food and drinks delivered on time and perfectly, nothing was missed by her, she is an absolute sweetheart and went above and beyond to make my birthday special. Thank you for such a special night, myself and all guests loved the food and the service!

Day light robbery I was dining here with my two young daughters and husband and the staff negligently gave a strange crowd of individuals permission to enter the premises. Being a high end restaurant with a front entrance not manned and letting anyone in walk in . A group of girls walked in and proceeded to target our table and carried out a robbery in the day and in front of all the staff and others dining. The owner of the restaurant has taken no initiative to reach out. To add to the discomfort, post-incident, the staff presented us a spoonful of cake… as if we were looking to celebrate the occasion. I would never recommend this Resturant to anyone as management dusted their hands off their trespasser allowed to rob their customers

I was dining with my family when the restaurant staff NEGLIGENTLY invited in a herd of bandits that robbed my family as we ate, under the pretence that they could not refuse a group of unknown persons entry to use their bathrooms. We had just finished our starters and a group of literal beggars targeted our table and robbed my belongings. There is clear cctv footage of the incident occurring and we were the only group of people affected. The owner took no interest in resolving the issue and took zero responsibility for the negligent actions of their staff. We were left to deal with management that did not help us reach any resolution to the issue. I went out for a meal with my family and came out of this restaurant short of a months salary, a bill for food we couldn’t stomach after the incident occurred and a service charge that made me feel like I was tipping the staff for assisting in the burglary of my belongings. But who cares right? Until it happens to you. They’ll probably sell a few lamb chops and make up the value of my loss in one evening. So to all those thinking of visiting this place, think about it you’ll be safe here. Think about your family and children and remember that I was robbed here, in front of the entire fleet of staff and tables full of people, and in broad daylight. And then, if you still decide for some obscene reason that you must dine here, definitely don’t order the prawns.

Delightful if you want to be robbed! Absolutely smashed it! The food is exceptional, I have no words for how amazing the doughnut Gulab Jambu is. If you go here, you have to order it! The avocado chaat was great too, didn’t quite expect it to be but it definitely did taste great! The service was good considering it’s a busy period, I thought I’d have to wait a lot longer generally for food but it didn’t make a difference. The only thing that took a while was the bill, which is kind of funny. Nonetheless, definitely will be heading back!

My good friend Sarb brought me to experience this hip, Indian food restaurant and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was very cool and the vibe is trendy. When the vibe is great and the food superb what matters most is the staff. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by a polite, professional welcoming staff. Make sure you reserve, this restaurant is packed and with good reason! Our waitress Sakshi deserves special recognition for being highly professional, creative in responding to menu suggestions and a truly delightful person.

Date night on a weekend, not sure if the restaurant struggles during peak hours, but we booked here based off the reviews, but were left incredibly disappointed. Grill came out cold, roti was greasy but also cold, rice was soggy and flavourless, the only good part of our meal was the Dal, which I could’ve eaten in the buckets but £13 for a handful of lentils is not on. Most of the staff there were very friendly and welcoming, but the food was not on, we asked our waiter for our food to be warmer and he looked at us as if we had just stood on the table and urinated in his face… We didn’t order much, but what we did order and for how expensive it was, I am totally unimpressed, the restaurant atmosphere is nice but the food does not match whatever ambience they’re trying to push, unless they’re trying to push cold and expensive slop. Sorry, I’d love to have some good things to say about this place, I really wanted to like it, but I just can’t…
