Great food, great staff, decent value and the chicken shashlik bhuna is amazing! Eat in or takeaway food of the same quality. Will be back soon!

A friend and myself visited this restaurant on Friday night, the meal was too expensive but the main problem was it felt the staff were rushing us through every course manager was so rude I will never go back there again.

I had a very bad experience on Sunday evening with my family. Waiter took our order and the hospitality I recieved was terrible. He also did not adhere to the uniform requirement. Very disappointed.

Service is excellent and the food is great.

I cannot tell you how disappointing this restaurant is. Firstly the glasses smelt awful a terrible start. The poppadum sauces were below standard, the mint sauce was luminous green . Then the mains the buttered chicken sauce was bland and the chicken was in cheap slices not chunks and tough. The chicken tikka was ok at best to be fair. I want to end on a positive but I can't.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been in can't fault them food was excellent service was also excellent and they were very friendly we booked in advance which I think is advisable here ? Only a small restaurant but I will be going back again for sure it's also very reasonably priced I thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Nice restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Two small issues, not knowing what dishes/curries they were delivering to the table and spooning through them to find out. The entrance needs a warm air curtain as you get a draft each time the door opened. Some people at other tables had there coats on.

Excellent fresh food. Tried all the curry’s in Petts Wood and this is by far the best one. Staff very attentive and friendly too.

After several previous visits which we enjoyed Ate hear last night table of four My vegetable curry which I asked to be madras hot was best described as a tasteless mush My wife's sag also was so salty as to be inedible The smiling waiter bringing the bill and say it was all his fault doesn't cut it You guys need to up your game there's Plenty of competition out there

We moved to Broadstairs 2 years ago and miss you all at Cardamom. We came back today to visit Petts Wood for the day and had to order a takeaway before we left. We had our dog with us or we would have dined inside rather than have a takeaway. We took it all the way back to Broadstairs tonight and had it at home. It was amazing, as good as we remembered. You need to open a branch in Broadstairs, we can't keep driving 150 miles for your takeaway 🤣. But, it is the best curry and definitely worth coming back all that way for 😊.

I consider myself a connoisseur of curry houses in BR6 and recently Cardamom has shot up the charts, it is now my Number 1. Always hot when delivered, tasty and consistent quality ( the other local good places struggle when busy). Keep up the good work guys.

SERVICE IS VERY SLOW ! 2 waiters serving for 20 people and 1 waiter was wiping glasses the whole evening by the bar so practically 1 waiter for 20 people. You need 3 hours in this place to have a straight forward 3 course meal of starter, main and some ice cream. Waiter wrote down nothing as said he will remember our order and then drinks order was wrong. Couldn’t be bothered to embarrass him. Food was ok, presentation was nice , decor bland and cold just like the individuals that work there !!! Ladies toilets could not be used as wrenched of urine despite a reed diffuser being in there . Guess they think they are posh despite all of the above !!! Worse thing being absolutely no concept of speed in their service !

Great food and lots of it. Friendly staff

Established 12 years ago and yet it’s easy to miss, but that’s not to say it should be missed out on. The Madras was the stand out dish, if that’s your thing it’s very good and the CTM was agreeable as many are wherever you go. I think the chicken tikka could be improved, but they do offer a chicken tikka rice which is perfect for gym heads looking for some extra protein.

Had dinner here on New Years Eve, was a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Love this restaurant!

Second time we took a chance and used this place, as the 1st time some years ago was very disappointing. Unfortunately, this time wasn’t any better. I had a lamb tikka jalfrezi and asked for extra sauce and for the chef to make it madras hot. Yes the extra sauce was there but it certainly wasn’t made madras hot, there was so much sliced onion in it which was absolutely ridiculous. The lamb was minimal, instead of the onion I could’ve done with more meat. The texture for some reason wasn’t a true jalfrezi, as it was overcome with a tomatoey flavour. My wife’s lamb bhuna wasn’t fine either, the meat was chewy and she had loads of onion slices in hers as well, but hers were crunchy. Shame, because we read the Google reviews and everybody seems to be raving about this place, but sadly not for us.

From start(er) to finish, it was proper naughty. Best curry I’ve had in the area and will no doubt become a regular. The Chilean wine is a winner and a Wednesday night special is not to be ignored. Highly recommend.

we are always met with a warm welcome from the owners here. It had been a while since we had been in as my sister had moved out of the area but it was great to be instantly recognised and welcomed warmly. The pistachio masala paneer was amazing 👏 They also have a meal deals on Wednesday which is a great bonus! All the best to you and I look forward to next time! 😋

Great food, friendly staff, a wide selection of dishes (and you can't go wrong with any of them). The onion bhajis are the best I've had anywhere!

Had dinner here earlier this week with my family. The staff were super friendly and very attentive, and the food was tasty and the portions were generous. We all walked out very satisfied and barely able to walk we were so full! Will likely call in again in the future and will be our go-to takeaway now as well.

Very nice food and staff were friendly and attentive. There was a special deal for a Wednesday night, four course meal, with starter, main dish, side dish, rice or nan For £13.95.

Very disappointing. We arrived at a completely empty restaurant at 21.50 on a Saturday night to be told it would closing in an hour (no surprise). We agreed to stay then found there was no draught lager, no poppadoms (they need cooking), bottled lager was warm, and curry was lukewarm. No other customers arrived and we felt unwelcome throughout. We will not be going back.

Amazing food and 1st class service. This restaurant goes above and beyond. I went with my baby and they even dimmed the lights near me so my baby would sleep. Such a nice friendly place to go. Food is delicious, I would definitely recommend.

Had our first visit since lockdown to our favourite Curry house, Cardamom Petts Wood, felt like we hadn’t been away, great service, fantastic food, and of course a very friendly welcome.

Ordered King Prawn Biryani, have always really enjoyed from Cardamom whether eaten in or takeaway. Sorry to say that tonight’s dish was very bland & lacking in Prawns.

Bought a paneer starter for £3.99 only for it to contain overcooked miniature bitesize pieces and the main mixed grill was absolutely awful. Meat was overcooked and the duck was rock hard. First and last time there. Sorry.

The service was disgusting, we were left sitting at the table for over 20mins had to call waiter to get a drink order and menus. Drink order was wrong, no apology about the mistake. Had to ask for Popadoms also waiter to take meal order. We waited about 45mins for meal to arrive. There were no enquires as to any more drinks, coffee or desserts. When I complained to the waiter about the service he just smiled at me!! The food is excellent. I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

We visited during the eat out to help out campaign on a Wednesday evening as it’s their special night £11.99 for a 4 course meal. We all ordered a starter, main, side and rice or nan as per the £11.99 special with some beers and poppadoms. We we not informed at any time that the Wednesday special was not available so when the bill arrived we were shocked at the price at over £100 for 3 people. This cost more than it would have with the special deal... so totally voided the eat out to help out plus cost extra! We were all regular users of Cardamom using the takeaway service but this has left us all with a bad taste and now we will take our business elsewhere. I gave 3 stars as there was nothing to complain about with the food. Just the fact they are taking advantage of the government scheme.

At last had a takeaway from our favourite Curry Resturant Cardamom Petts Wood, delicious as ever, thank you Hussain, see you soon.

Yummy food and friendly staff. Good all rounder

I was in a party of 10 that visited Cardamom unannounced on a Sunday evening. We were welcomed into the restaurant by the staff and some customers were happy to move their table in order that our party could sit together. Very very friendly we thought. The atmosphere was very good. All the staff were friendly, calm and very efficient. There is an extensive choice on the menu and all the food consumed was excellent. We have visited this restaurant a few times previously and its always delivered a great experience.

This is our go to Indian restaurant and if we ever take any one with us they love it as well !! Visited last night the place was busy with nearly every table filled! Each and every member of staff greets you warmly ! We were offered to try some very new dishes last night from the chef which we did and wow they were really tasty I had the chicken afghani which was presented lovely, lots of chicken in thick hot sauce with a really good kick to it it!my husband had a new lamb dish made too vindaloo heat again lots of tender lamb with amazing flavours !We both agreed we would order these dishes again !We had some side dishes, a really reasonable bottle of merlot also ! All in all a great Meal in a restaurant with a great atmosphere!! Would always recommend this place to anyone wanting a lovely Indian !!

We celebrated a family birthday here and found the food and service to be very good. The decor is clean and bright and the prices reasonable. They were happy to bring out the birthday cake we had brought with us.

Went there on a Saturday quite early only to discover they were fully booked! It didn't deter them, we said we were happy to be quick in and out. They worked out who and when and within a couple of minutes we were seated. The food was very tasty, I had a chicken tikka biryani which I use a s a benchmark and it was delicious, fluffy rice, moist pieces of chicken and a nice vegetable curry.

I never normally write reviews but for this place I will make an exception. We were given a table at short notice on a saturday night and it was a decent spot right at the back. The service, decor and food was excellent and I will definitely be returning. Cobra on tap is also a big plus and there is a great selection on the menu.

Good food but feel that we were rushed with our meal and the place was very noisy making conversation difficult.

It's quite a small restaurant but busy and the guys are constantly working hard to provide a welcoming, attentitive service, they all seem very friendly. polite and helpful - nothing seems to much trouble. As we got the bill we said it was our first visit and wouldn't be our last which they were very grateful for and happy to have got us in rather than turn us away.We went back last Wednesday but as before they were fully booked ut again we were seated in two minutes after a bit of table juggling. Again the food was very nice, I had a Chef's special chicken garlic dish and was not dissapointed. As we were paying the bill we thanked them for getting us in and mentioned the previous visit (deja vu), they were more than delighted to have helped us again. They told us the Special Deal night is Wednesday which is normally busy LOL and that they are fully booked for the next two Saturdays which I'm sure is down to the food quality and the reasonable price £50 for two meals and two rounds of drinks. Will be going back again soon but will book a table this time, can't keep chancing my luck!

first time i used you so glad we did,theirs an Indian not too far from where we live weve been using it for about 20yrs but the food hygiene rating went poor it wouldn't be fair to mention it .i found yourselves and the food was superb and will carry on using.thank you

The last 2 times we 've ordered from here it's taken nearly 2 hours to get our food with us calling a number of times. The food is good but not worth waiting 2 hours for.

I was introduced to this Indian Restaurant by a friend, and it’s now my favourite Indian Restaurant in the neighbourhood. The food is excellent, and the staff have always been polite, attentive and good fun when I’ve been there over the past 2 years. Would recommend both eating in, and their take away service.

Ordered a takeaway at 19:30 rang twice a not delivered at 21:30, rang again at 21:50. the man that answered was very rude and said that the delivery driver had been, we were in and waiting for our take away, no one had rug the door bell or called our mobile.

Lovely food, I've eaten a lot of curries and this is the best in the petts wood area. Staff are very welcoming.

We had a nice dinner. We had plenty of delicious food: curry, tikka, nan, rice etc. De staff was very friendly.

I'm not sure what has happened in the last couple of months. Perhaps a new chef? The food is now oily and they send soggy naans. The main problem is the oil use though as cardamom was my favourite due to the freshness of ingredients and lightness of the food. Edit-They’ve improved and I love them again. Thank you cardamom

The staff and service are really good. Really friendly and helpful. We went on their weds night where you can get starter, main, rice or bread and a side for around £11. For the money it was good and you got plenty. The food we had was tasty and cooked well.

Overrated! Food was quite ok (but not amazing), poor service (I guess it depends on who serves you but we were unlucky to be served by the guy who should work in the warehouse with the parcels, not in the restaurant with people), very loud on Saturday evening. Average - disappointing

I ordered a delivery this time and the service was great the manners on the delivery man was outstanding and the order came on time. The service in the restaurant and out is fantastic. Thank you once again :)
