I'm going to give an honest review without being forced to by the staff with the promise of a free drink. Food is ok but the service especially on a Wednesday Friday Saturday night is appalling nearly 2 hours for food ( no poppadoms no starters) . Questioned the bill as it just had Drinks and a made up figure, twice that has happened. Cramped over booked tables book a table for 2 you virtually sit with the table next to you and join in their conversation. Sorry will be giving it a miss for a while better Indian restaurants in Orpington, Farnborough High Street. Wish people would be more honest as their score on Google reviews is probably higher than a Michelin 5star restaurant.

We have been eating at this restaurant for years But the last 4 visits have been poor Last night 25th April was very bad service was slow and food was bland and also given boiled rice instead of pilau rice but they maintained it was pilau I’ve never seen white pilau before 😡 and it’s what we always have Main meal was a hour and 15 min wait 😡 We arrived at 6pm as our son who is in a wheelchair likes to eat early before the rush as he can’t get his wheelchair in the toilet So 2 and a half hours is too long for him We questioned the service charge which was disputed by the manager and was upset we didn’t want to pay the charge This will be the last time we use this restaurant We feel as they have opened a new restaurant in swanley they have put the best staff there including the chef Very disappointed in there reaction towards us We will not be going back

The staff were very friendly, Isaacs particularly helpful. The food was amazing, tasty and really generous portions. Would recommend.

Firstly congratulations on the win, BUT again trouble with delivery. Ordered at 6.20pm, was told 1 hr 10. Which is fine . Phoned again at 7.50, was told out for delivery , and had left 5 minutes away, only two orders to deliver…. 8.00 still nothing, rang again, told was on way … This time when I rang, I was told the driver was outside my house, went out not there…then told he was at my door…nope I have ring door bell and three dogs , again a lie. Then after insisting I talk to the manager, I am told the driver is near by, but could not tell me when the food left the restaurant….eventually found the driver and flagged him down. Was told the food left 15 minutes ago… it was now 8.30pm !! 2 hrs and 10 minutes late…. Suggestion employ more drivers, or don’t quote times which are not achievable or don’t lie when you have no idea where the driver is. The most unforgettable thing was when we phoned to chase food, the answer phone kicked in, which suggests the restaurant is understaffed. I left one message and tried again and again to find out where the food was …IT WAS IN NEED OF THE MICROWAVE….. summary ….food 2hrs 10 minutes from order, unable to get hold of staff, given false information from first man on phone, then when it did arrive ….needed the microwave, which suggests either been in the car a long time OR sat on the side in the restaurant waiting to go out… Not good enough Bombay , must do better

Booked a few weeks ago for my daughter’s birthday , arrived on time at 7pm, a party of 7 , shoved in a corner so crammed , table not laid , cutlery slung in a pile in the middle of the table . Had dropped off some balloons earlier with birthday cake , the balloons were still in the bag on a chair , ruined the surprise for my daughter. Took ages to order , had to go and ask to order more drinks . When the food eventually arrived some dishes were missing , no apology, they bought them 15 minutes later . Had to ask 3 times for the cake and 4 times for the bill as it was now 10pm . Appreciate it was a Saturday, but way overbooked. Seems like they are a victim of their own success , the food is lovely but service would have been better in a roadside cafe . And they charged 10% service charge . Definitely will not be going back !!
