The Bombay in Bromley

This review is for takeaway, but some of the comments apply for dine in as well. We ordered our food at 7 o/c last Saturday and was told it would be ready for collection in an hour. Turned up at 8 o/c and you could hardly get in the door with people waiting for orders and tables as well. Despite being told "it will only be a while, our order was not ready until 9 o/c. The food is good as always, but we would avoid coming here or ordering a takeaway at the weekend. It is just too busy, Next time, it will be a mid-week treat.

Great food good service, thank you Raheem fantastic host. Would recommend to friends and family members. Will be eating here again.

Raheem was our server and he was so attentive without being overwhelming. The food was delicious and there was a superb choice. I can thoroughly recommend the lamb sag ghost. Excellent value for money. My only criticism would the lighting or lack there of....it might have added to the atmosphere but we couldn't really see our plates. I

We have been coming here for years, the Sunday buffet is excellent value for money. The service is outstanding and super friendly. We come as a couple and also of a family upto 12, with age from 3 months upwards and we all love it here

Went for sunday buffet. Totally packed out. Food fresh and constantly being topped up. Can see why its busy! Bogs clean too, shame the latch had broken for the cubicle.

Been to this restaurant a few times now. The food is always excellent, good prompt service and just love the style of the restaurant. Ali, our waiter was most helpful, he even offered Limoncello after we mentioned we had just returned from Italy! Will be back.....again.

Best Indian around by far. No nonsense, efficient hard working staff driven my the owners who muck in ax well. Wednesday night banquet is good value with great quality and huge portions. The balti dishes in particular really hit the spot. Nice atmosphere as well. I’ve tried most Indian restaurants within 5 miles of here and the Bombay never fails to deliver gear cuisine

Our favourite place to come for food, delicious food, great price and excellent service especially from Ali. Owner is always extremely welcoming and personable and we love coming here.

Had our first take away Saturday night , was not disappointed, will be back for another this Saturday. The delivery driver was really sweet as well, and it was early.
