Talli Kitchen in Bromley

This is my second time trying their food – it was at a family get-together. The appetisers were the best, but the portions were tiny. That avocado samosa chaat was amazing.

Delicious indian food with fusion touch! We loved the environment and decor too, we went there with our little one and he was welcomed warm and caring too! Would recommend for anyone who is looking to try a nice vibe and cosy set up 🙂

We love the place. Its our go-to place when Indian food cravings kicks in. Great ambience, taste is amazing, portions are decent. Very clean. Service is excellent. Last we were served by Sidhi and Azgar. Both did amazing job.

The Food items that we ordered were very delicious. Had a great time with family and friends while celebrating kid's birthday. Some staff members even stayed late to cater us. Overall, it was quite delightful experience .

Loved the food here, some of the best reasonably priced food I've discovered this year. Would especially recommend the szechuan chicken dumplings and the gobi aloo vegetable side dish. We'll be coming back and likely ordering our take outs from here going forward.

I called to place a takeaway order last night , someone picked up the phone ( did not respond to my hello ) and all I could hear was shouting and noises of staff being abusive. I found this very unprofessional and rude. I put the phone down and rang back again , the lady picked up the phone and I explained to her how rude and unprofessional this was. She replied by saying what shall I do about!!! I will never order from this place again, the staff need to learn how to talk and listen to customers.

I was very disappointed with the service at Talli Kitchen. Our server was inattentive, and we had to wait a long time for our food and drinks. This really spoiled our evening. I hope they can address this issue.

The waiters were rude and ignored us for most of our meal. The table was sticky, and the bathroom was filthy. Not a pleasant dining experience. I noticed a fly buzzing around our food, which was really off-putting. The music was too loud, making it hard to have a conversation Never going back again

If you go via Google maps it will take you on a wild goose chase the best way to find this place is if you look for Premier inn in the Walnut shopping centre this restaurant is right opposite it When I attended the place was empty and I did book a table The prices are slightly on the expensive side and they will add 12.5 percent service charge in the end so be mindful of that Service is very good the waitress are very friendly and the food delivery is quite quick Some fancy named starter and going by the menu and looking at the items I assumed this would be a South Indian restaurant and when I asked the waitress said this was mainly North Indian and she walked away so not sure if she understood me or just got offended The taste and temperature of the food is good and right The portions are ok ish and is enough for a one person I also ordered take away as I wanted to know how it would come and it I will say the taste of the food was good So would recommend it but be mindful that this is a expensive place

Beautiful food, fantastic service thanks to Mamta and Siddhi. This is a great place for wonderful Indian. Very clean and spacious. We are told the breakfast on a Sunday is very good. Our next stop.

The food was absolutely amazing - Mamta & Siddhi were the perfect hosts this evening. It’s my husband and I’s first time here - we live in the neighbourhood and randomly thought to pop in. I had a horrible cold, and they were so warm and lovely, constantly checking in. I was also able to order some tea, which was fantastic The food was really so good!!! We will definitely be coming back again!

I was craving Indian food for my birthday and luckily I chose this place. Food was scrumptious blended with a great customer service. Definitely above the rest of Indian restaurants I have tried in the area. Loved the cocktails as well.

I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at Talli Kitchen. As a regular customer, I expected far better service. The driver waited at the restaurant for over an hour for my order, yet they didn’t attend to him. When I called to check, the restaurant claimed the order had been picked up 20 minutes earlier and shifted all the blame onto the Just Eat driver. To make matters worse, the food quality has dropped significantly—the taste seems to vary each time, and this time, the chicken was dry and nearly inedible. This inconsistency and poor service are unacceptable.

Food was authentic and freshly cooked to order. Portions were plentyful and could be altered to suit individual taste. Staff were friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Our server Mansi was lovely.

The only authentic Indian restaurant in the high street , Orpington. Tasty food , kids friendly, top notch bearers , superb ambience and some nice music :)

Wouldn't come back. Slow service. Kids running around your table when you are trying to eat. Food expensive and chicken was cheap and tough couldn't eat it. I certainly didn't want the atmosphere of people just sitting in there to watch a cricket match. It's a restaurant not a pub. Definitely wouldn't go back again. Don't edit my review I gave like last time. I certainly wouldn't have given 4 stars for anything.

I love this place! I have had the paneer butter masala five times in the past few months and it’s always 10/10!! My favourite curry in Orpington! Would recommend :)

The staff are also friendly and food speaks for itself! Definitely recommend the Lamb Biryani with a Lacca Paratha!

Absolutely poor service - it took 2 hours to get our starters. They served people and served takeaways who came after us. The quality of food was reasonable. Not visiting again.

Great place to enjoy some good Indian food. Loved their butter naan in its taste and awesome presentation ( missed taking a photo as it was so yummy) . Tried a very innovative dessert fusion option of Waffle base topped with carrot halwa, gulab jamun and an amazing rabdi sauce which had amazing flavours .

The staff they sent were equally impressive: polite, attentive, and incredibly helpful. We had the indo chinese and were pleasantly surprised how authentic it is. Dry Basil chilli chicken, schezwan rice and Scezwan momos were delish!!! Must must try. Mansi helped us with the order and recommedations and she was greaaatt!!

Lovely place and smart interior. I loved most of what was ordered, except for the momos, it tasted old. The rest of the items were great. The mango salad is a must have and so are their lamb chops. Tried their crispy kale, basically a chat version with kale and would recommend a try. Other stuff on our order was Dum biryani, dal tadka, latcha paratha and an aubergine dish. All of which I'd give another try.

Food we had was nice, matches our expectations for North Indian taste. However, the quality of service was poor, we had to wait long for initial service and gap between the repeat orders was long. They even missed an item from my order, and billed too.

I recently dined at this Indian restaurant for a wedding anniversary celebration., It was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The flavors were rich and authentic, with each dish perfectly spiced and beautifully presented; especially the prawns and lamb. The naan was fresh, the curries were bursting with taste, and the service from Nikhil and Siddhi was warm and attentive. A true gem for anyone craving genuine Indian cuisine. Highly recommended!

Amazing food. We recently ordered take out and the food was just fantastic. We ordered chicken fried rice, basil chicken, chole bature, dal makhni and garlic naan. All of it was amazing.

Service was amazing.Nikhil and Alyan put attention to the details. To our surprise, they remembered from the last time what we liked and dislike. Starters are really good… I did not like the main course. Paneer butter masala is too sweet. Dessert: The gulabjamun had pungent smell and I did not taste good. I had to send it back

We had very bad experience with this restaurant, food wasn’t tasty but expensive, service was very slow, the restaurant was almost empty when we went it but they refused to provide the table that we requested for.

My wife and I tried Talli Kitchen for the first time, we are so glad we did as food, atmosphere and service were great with some of the most polite and attentive staff I’ve encountered, they really couldn’t do enough for you. We arrived in time for happy hour so were able to sample some cocktails, amazing flavours, well made and they certainly made sure you got every ml of alcohol they had a real kick! For starter we had the papadum basket which different flavoured papadam and fantastic chutney and smoked tomato sauce. Alongside this the star of the show was the pineapple kebab, this is a must try for anyone coming here fantastic flavour a dish that will now be a mainstay when we order in future. To finish off the starters we tried one of the indo-Chinese fusion dishes as a starter, the Szechuan Chicken. I love spicy food but not the kind that burns your tastebuds off, the chicken was succulent and juicy with an eruption of flavours in your mouth followed by just the right amount of kick I’m having this as a main next time! Onto the mains which had a lot to live up to following the amazing starters, packed full of flavour my wife enjoyed a korma style curry generous amounts of succulent chicken was even enough for me to try too. I sampled the duck curry, duck can easily be over cooked so I wasn’t too sure what to expect here being in a curry but again the meat was cooked to perfection juicy and full of flavour where you can see it’s been marinated well. The curry itself tasted great, again it was all about the flavour not just the spicy kick. The Jeera rice was light, fluffy cooked well and the perfect amount. Our go to side dish is always Mater Paneer, this really has to be the best I’ve ever tasted. I find most other restaurants are a little lazy and just serve up the paneer cheese and peas in a standard korma sauce. This was different, a stand-alone dish with huge paneer portions and a beautiful flavour. Finally we had a peshwari naan, it was a nice naan, if I had to be critical of any part of the meal it would be this. It didn’t look or taste like it had been cooked in a tandoor oven which in my opinion create the best light and puffy naans, but its main problem was the fact the other dishes being so incredible you’d just expect the naan to be the same. If you’re looking for food with incredible flavours this really is one you need to check out, we will 100% be visiting Talli Kitchen again.

We had a lovely dinner here. The food is incredible - it’s an Indian cosine with a modern twist and one of the nicest meals we had locally in Orpington. We were helped by Mansi who was very helpful and recommended some dishes to us. We will definitely return!

If you are expecting your usual chicken tika massage or lamb bhuna then this is not for you. However if you want your taste buds to be treated to a taste experience I certainly have never experienced before then this is the place for you. The waiter, Nikil, was as marvellous as the food. Will certainly be visiting again.

I have tried many many Indian restaurants but this by far is one of the absolute best- for menu, drinks, service and stunningly delicious food.

Excellent food, great service, great ambience. We celebrated new year eve @Talli Kitchen with family (2 kids 13 and 5). The arrangements were awesome with live music, DJ, belly dancing and fully functional bar.. We enjoyed every minute of the evening. Highly recommend the restaurant if you haven’t tried it yet.

This is a long overdue review. I have been going to Talli kitchen for almost a year now and it has become my Indian restaurant of choice The food is excellent and the service impeccable .Every time i visit its like visiting a long lost friend as the staff are so attentive. Mansi never fails to amaze me with her excellent recommendations! The Ambience of their restaurant with an anazing bar makes every visit memorable Atindra - i wish you well with this venture.It took me so long to write this review because i knew your food will sell itself anyway.However,when food is this good ,you need to shout about it from the rooftops!Thanks ever so much for helping with my last minute order for 25 people at my house yesterday - my guests were amazed by the food and also at the fact that good food at a reasonable price does exist.

Worse restaurant every honestly we attended 4pm today a Sunday 17 people the resturant was empty. Staff were so slow and food was awful every member of the party did not eat the food. Starters were bland and portions were tiny and all came out at different times first starter came out and it was 30 minutes before the last person got their starter which was not edible. Popadoms were staile. When mains came out it's was disappointing currys came out and waiting 15 minutes for rice then another 15 minute for naan bread. I had a korma never tasted something so bland every. Would NEVER go back and once we raised our concern was told there was no manager there. Bill came in at over £750.00 which we were not happy to pay as none of the party ate their food because it was so poor. We after explaining that all food was not eaten got 10% off and refused to pay the service charge. It took 3 hours for them to bring out the starters then the mains. If you don't want to go to a resturant and leave hungry do not go here.

Went for 50th birthday party. Amazing food and ambience. The owners and chef Thakuria went out of the way to create a special party menu , laid out the food in the most beautiful setting. The food tasted amazing and the drinks were glam to look st and tasted amazing . Overall , fabulous experience . Keep up the great work , team TK. We will be back.

My family gave a wonderful surprise at Talli Kitchen by hosting a surprise party. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the service of the staff there. The food was simply amazing with special call-out for the Kale Chaat. They did not have egg curry on the menu but my family wanted it made as it was my favourite dish. The restaurant team was extremely accommodating of our request and made egg curry which was very tasty. They have organised a saxophone player who played old Hindi songs. Mr. Anil Kakkar was very good with the saxophone. Overall three cheers to the Talli team for making the experience a very special and enjoyable one. Kudos to Ateendra, Vinay and team.

It was so bad, the food is really overpriced , and the portion sizes are phenomenally small. A 15 pound biriyani is TINY . DO NOT COME HERE!!!YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

The restaurant is lovely serving some delicious food and has an extensive menu. Chef Gautam knows his game well and he does justice to the dishes coming out of his kitchen. We were served by Nikhil and he was very courteous and diligent. The food was well presented and delicious. Only feedback is with regards to the Hyderabadi baingan which wasnt authentic and was not made using baby round aubergines. However it was very tasty. I would suggest to name it something else and then have it on the menu. Thanks Gautam and Nikhil for a lovely dinning experience.

Has to be one of the best indian restaurants i have been to. Really innovative take on the indian cuisine and cocktails. Service was 10/10. We had a great chat with Nikil who proudly demonstrated his mixology skills. The food was flavoursome and faultless.

Had lunch at Talli's Kitchen today after finding out about it recently. The food was very very good! The kebab was flavourful and cooked perfectly. We also had a chicken and an aubergine curry. Both were full of flavour and delicious. The best part was the cocktails - they were absolutely amazing!! The restaurant is big and the decor is lovely. I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of food on offer. So pleased to have such a good Indian restaurant in Orpington. Highly recommended!

Excellent food (which is enough to make us visit again) but terrible service.. be prepared to have items forgotten from your order, cos it’s happened more often than not for us here!
