Only used the takeaway service, but lovely hot food delivered on time. Great service and love the members area where you can earn points and the excellent offers they provide. My new go to Indian takeaway. Wouldn’t use anywhere else

Ordered a few weeks ago, order delayed in delivery. The reason for the delay, new delivery driver. Food was luke warm and not spicy. Will not use again.

Update This was the 3rd time ordering from this restaurant and this time wasn't as good as the 2nd time. The rice had way too much turmeric and was not flavoured well. The sauce for the bombay aloo was not nice as last time also.

This spot is perfect to sit outside in marquee and watch the football! They were extremely accommodating, and were so friendly. And the food is amazing! Would definitely recommend, for either a nice meal or just a fun time.

I have been to Khana a few times, and I have been left speechless ever time. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and and attentive. The food is the best I have had in a long time. It was so good we decided to hold a private party at the location. The staff and owner in particular couldn't help enough. He genuinely cared and treated us as an individual person and not another customer. The price is extremely reasonable for the experience. I normally enjoy experimenting restaurants and comparing them to see which is best, I may have to stop doing that now. 5 stars, (I would give more if I could).

THE best Indian cuisine I have EVER tasted, the food is outstanding and the staff are absolutely lovely. What's not to like!? In a word, FABULOUS!!!!! It's also a wonderful place for a party too.

While visiting my brother recently my husband and I (along with my brother) went to Khana for a meal and have to say it was without doubt the best Indian meal we'd ever had. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a great meal.

Too spicy couldn’t taste the flavours as got hotter and I like it hot but this wasn’t like that just too spicy Services all or nothing hard to get bill missed my train home.

Visited Khana on a wet Tuesday evening in May and was surprised that it wasn't empty. We had the Tuesday £9.95 offer, which consists of a classic curry, any rice, any bread and four mini onion bhajis. The food was delicious, well cooked and amazing value. The only downside was the time it took for the food to be brought out. It took the best part of an hour, which, for saying there were only five other diners by this point, wasn't great. But the food was worth it in the end.

This is my second review of Royal Kitchen. What an amazing restaurant. Once again we came on an excellent value Groupon voucher. We ordered chicken madras, butter Chicken and chicken dopiaza, basmati rice and stuffed parathas. All of the food was delicious and piping hot, the parathas are out of this world! Raj once again was an attentive host and even gave us a complimentary chicken tikka starter. We will be back for sure, thanks again Raj!!

Waited one hour before food came. Hot plates but cold tasteless food. Service poor served customers who came after us first. Ladies toilet had no light so was unable to use the services. Would definitely not go back. Changed their name but was told still the same chef and owner. Really do need to step it up a gear.

Ordered online for Mothers Day at 6.30pm, nothing was delivered and they don`t answer the phone. Avoid if you want to place an order for a special occasion only to be badly let down with no option to contact the restaurant ! utterly poor customer service ...

Cannot fault the front of house staff, however it is clear that unfortunately the cooks are understaffed as our starters took circa 2hrs to be brought to our table, whilst lots of orders were being collected and delivered. Having been to the restaurant a number of times this experience is hopefully an isolated occasion and hope next time we visit our meal will arrive in a timely manner and all at the same time.

Lovely staff and food was delicious. Was planning a quick meal after work but stayed much longer. Enjoyed the excellent atmosphere and speaking with very friendly staff. Raj was brilliant and attentive and really looked after us well. Each dish was perfect.

I had chicken tikka starter, butter chicken & rice main and a plain naan bread. All cooked very well and plenty of flavour.

Had a lovely dinner with friends for my birthday. Food was very good and well priced. Staff were very friendly and even gave us a free cake! Would recommend.

The service is beyond excellent and staff is amazing ! It was my friends birthday and they played birthday music and brought us a cake and extra naan completely free of charge ! The staff is lovely and beyond diligent. It was very quite in there though for a Friday evening. I want to say there were maybe three families in there but I hope they get many more visitors.

I did a Groupon not knowing the restaurant has it's own deals. Booked the table for 6pm thinking we'd be out by 7.30 ish but the place filled up very quickly and I don't think the staff was ready for that amount of people so service was a bit slow but NO complaints about the lovely food that was served. Recommend it.........

Me and my family come here to celebrate my uncles birthday. Raj our waiter was absolutely brilliant so helpful. They even got a balloon and a cake because we said we were celebrating a birthday which was such a lovely gesture. The food was so nice and everyone loved it. Wonderful food, friendly staff, shame no desserts

My wife and I came here for the first time using a £40 food and drink spend via Groupon. Raj the waiter was amazing, we ordered poppadoms, curries, rice and nan and were given complimentary onion bhajis. All of the food was fresh, hot, tasty and plentiful and we even had leftovers. When we pointed out that we had ordered stuffed paratas and had been given plain, he gave us one on the house. All in all a lovely meal, we will definitely be returning and thanks again Raj!

Excellent Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant always exceeds expectations. Live in Bexleyheath & been here 3 times now in last 12 months & each time we come the food gets better & better. Superb variety of food, generous portions, good value for money. Tonight had Lamb Korai & it was so tasty! Very clean establishment & waiters always very friendly & professional & you never feel rushed. Special mention to Raj our waiter on last 2 occasions fully attentive to all our needs. Will definitely keep coming back, better than anywhere else in South East London.

We went to the Royal Kitchen on a Tuesday for a friends catch up. The ambiance in restaurant was inviting and relaxing, which was a great start. We ordered from a fixed price menu, there was so much food. It was delicious, cooked really well and definitely value for money. The service was very good too, Raj was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, yet we were left alone to chat for as long as we wanted. I think we were the last to leave the restaurant, after having a complimentary glass of Baily's. I have no hesitation in recommending Royal Kitchen and will be going again.

Royal Kitchen is absolutely brilliant the premises are immaculate, I live at Dartford and probably pass 20 Indian restaurants on the way to Sidcup but the great service and the quality of the food is worth the journey. Muz and staff have a great business here in Sidcup this is a must visit restaurant!!

15/11/23 on entering this restaurant we were welcomed by Raj who was very professional We placed our orders and was served in good time the food was very good I had the chicken vindaloo with mushroom rice. I mentioned that I like spicy food and liked a few chillies when the meal came he also presented a small plate of fresh chillies for me also a portion of onion bhajis on the house I will definitely visit this place again I highly recommend this restaurant thanks Raj

The restaurant has lots of offers for different days of the week and it would have been cheaper to have gone on their Wednesday banquet night which I'll remember for next time. An enjoyable meal.

Went to the Royal Kitchen on a Monday night as a group of 5. From booking phone call to leaving the restaurant it was nothing but excellent. Excellent service. Excellent food. Lovely and clean and very well presented. I must give a special mention to Raj, our waiter, who was absolutely superb and looked after us for the evening. A massive thank you to Raj and the team. We shall be back.

Nice food but delivery is a nightmare they don’t update you never pick the phone up and will take at least 2 hrs for your food.

I came here last week for my father in laws birthday, we were a large group on a Saturday night and all the food came quickly and was cooked to perfection. The service is great , such lovely staff! One of the best South asian restaurants I have been to. 10000% recommend🩷

The food is good and staff friendly

...we booked a table on a friday evening (for our anniversary meal) thinking it would be full (was a bit worried when we turned up and it was mostly empty) ...however those worries were soon dispelled - the service was spot on (mania was very pleasant and attentive), once the food arrived even our little one commented on how nice the aroma was ...every dish was well cooked and tasted better than some of the other indian restaurants we've tried nearby (little one like the tandoori chicken as the marinade seemed fresh and tasty compared to some others and it wasn't chilli hot) - so would go back there again!

Due to meeting others, we booked the opening time on Sunday. Unfortunately, they weren’t really ready to roll at opening so drinks were slow and the single waitress became swamped as soon as others started arriving. We’d gone for a Groupon deal, but to be honest the regular Sunday banquet deal would have been cheaper. Food was okay, no real complaints, but equally don’t feel I can shout out about the joy of my options.

We ordered a takeaway from here on Friday evening, and the food was awful and substandard. The chicken was very hard and was more sauce than chicken, I counted 5 small pieces. The rice was OK, the best part of the meal. Onion bhajis were stale and tasted like they had been reheated from the day before, they were definitely not fresh. Really disappointing food, for quite a sum of money. Will not return, poor quality food that clearly was not fresh.

I live up the road and finally had a friend to come with me as my family aren't keen on curry. I used a groupon voucher. We come at peak time on a Thursday, it was extremely quiet, the background music kept cutting out, so we could literally hear the other party and their date chatter. Just an example for the 3 stars I gave on atmosphere. It's a beautifully presented restaurant, we was greeted and had a choice of where to sit on new and comfortable seats. The food, magnificent. We always try something different and here, the afghan lamb and madras were perfect. In my utterly honest opinion, I was grateful to take the groupon as it was a bit too pricey for my liking. Between 2 of us, we had 1 drink each, a starter to share, a main each and naan.... £79. Again, its just my opinion but I wouldn't really want to be spending more than £20 per person on a total main and drink. Thank you again royal kitchen, I wish you the best.

Went here on a Sunday evening- starter, main, side and rice/naan for £13.95. What followed was one of the best meals I’ve eaten in an Indian. I had sheek kebab to start which was delicious, other half had paneer tikka. Usually it’s hard and bland...

The chef and management in this restaurant has definitely changed. The food used to be amazing, good quality and authentic North Indian food, I used To order every few weeks. Now it is like any old takeaway but with high prices. Very oily, and everything tastes like it's been prepared days ago. The packaging has also changed and is now just foil with all the oil seeping out. I wouldn't order from here again

We used to love this place but it has gone down hill drastically. The food was very salty. The meal meat platter for starter was dreadful, the lamb kofta had no flavour, there were cubes of meat indistinguishable of what meat they are as though it has been reheated and coloured red. chicken jalfrezzi seemed like the chicken was not fresh and the sauce has just been added to it. The prawn curry was vile. It came out looking like meals on wheels. Hardly any effort for food presentation.

Lovely waitress who was engaging and helpful but the curries were all incredibly sweet, far too much sugar in them. I suppose this makes them go further but I was very disappointed with my butter chicken and my friends said the same about their dishes. A real shame.
