Not been for year. But back local. Amazing food and service. Lamb tikka jalfrezi was amazing. Staff and management great, friendly and very attentive. Will be back again The restaurant is so clean and authentic.

Lovely food..nicely presented.. friendly staff.. however.we noticed the portion sizes are a lot smaller than they used to be..I guess that's shrinkflation! Still very filling and delicious flavours

Even though we have lived in the area for a number of years, this was our first visit to Saggor Tandoori, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is much bigger than it appears from the outside Decor is modern and fresh and with an unusual 'river wall' a real attention grabber, at least for me. Despite it being midweek, the restaurant was busy, always a good sign, with a pleasant atmosphere. As it was our first visit we stuck to a couple of tried and tested staples of Chicken Korma and Lamb Rogan Josh, accompanied by the usual selection of rice, breads and dips, all excellent. Staff were attentive, friendly and efficient and during the meal we discovered that the restaurant, which has been in the same family for over 40 years, offers what they describe as old fashioned sized portions which have, in recent years, perhaps fallen foul of the profligate celebrity chef eateries that appear to have sprung up everywhere, and where the emphasis is very much style over substance. Overall a thoroughly pleasant evening which we certainly plan on repeating. Recommended.

Our go-to Indian restaurant. We don't have much good restaurants around and we're very glad to have this one nearby. The food is amazing and pretty cheap for what you get. I love the ambiance of the room, especially the water wall - mesmerizing !

Service was really slow over an hour to get our meal. Food was OK. Had to ask for the bill 3 times and when we got it, they were there for payment before we had a chance to check the bill. After we left thought we had been overcharge. Rang restaurant and after accepting the overcharge we got a partial refund. CHECK YOUR BILL PEOPLE

It's always a pleasure to visit The Saggor a must when in this local area. It got some great tasting food and the staff are amazing too.

Recently visited this gem of a place that does the most amazing king prawn curries. It has a great atmosphere and the service is impeccable.

An Indian restaurant that is visited regularly. Saggor tandoori continues to always refine and improve its food based on customers feeding back, and this was noticeable on the most recent visit. It maintains traditional Indian “curry house” character while presenting quality and tasteful food that can be eaten at affordable and reasonable pricing, without the fancy portion sizes and accessories! The staff are always personable, and approachable even when busy. The owner makes the time to interact with diners old and new. Its dishes are both traditional to the “English” curry experience, while also enveloping some more traditional Indian and Asian dishes. - The Lamb Kaalia and Garlic Chilli dishes are definite highlights and worth trying. On my most recent visit I opted for a King Prawn Saag with Garlic Naan which was cooked to perfection and not soggy or doughy. Friday and Saturday nights are always busy, with good reason! With some new additions to the menu we will definitely be returning. A place that has now become a regular haunt, with good reason. In an area with fierce competition from other offerings they continue to maintain and improve and cement a place as a local favourite.

1st time to Saggor Indian restaurant in Sidcup. We celebrated a friends birthday there and Food, service and staff was good.

The Saggor is a lovely friendly family Indian curry house which take pride in delivering a delicious meal to your liking they have extensive menu which caters for everyone and the quality of the food is excellent which is served to with some of wonderful staff .

Saggor is our local go to restaurant. The food is lovely, the staff welcoming and friendly and the manager cones to have a chat and say hi which is a nice touch. The venue is calm and relaxed and ligting a little lower which makes for a lovely chilled atmosphere. Looking for a really nice curry and chilled evening then Saggor would definitely fit the bill!!

The staff are brilliant so friendly and helpful the food is to die for I have been eating her for 20 years and it only gets better as the years pass 2023 and the standard of service and quality of the food is brilliant it so constant if you want a night out go Saggor you won’t be disappointed

Had a lovely meal yesterday for my Mum's birthday. We mucked around on the booking time three times, but they were really accommodating. The food was superb. Good sized portions and pretty good value, too.

Tried this as it wasn't far from where we were collecting our daughter. Food wasn't the best. Tasteless prawn puree, butter chicken had a paste-like sauce and wasn't nice and the king prawn bhuna (Madras hot) was hot but lacked flavour. A shame but we went early and it was quite busy so some people must like it. Unless we were all there for the first time?!

Re EDIT- had a lamb dansak from here a few weeks ago and was delightfully pleased! Also the Tandoori Chicken is 😍👑 Apart from the lamb in the lamb tikka being chewy every thing else was spot on, and allways a decent curry in there

Hadn't tried the Saggor Tandoori Restaurant before but decided to try them as we could order online for home delivery. The food arrived fairly promptly, it was very good and very enjoyable. I'll definitely use the online service again and a visit to the restaurant is now on the cards.

Lat night we went to the Saggor in Bexley - we have eate here many times over the past 30+ years but due to being a vulnerable family have not eaten inside of any restaurant since Feb 2020 and have only just started to venture out and were obviously a little anxious.When we arrived we were amazed there is handsfree sanitiser on entry and on each table and the tables were well spaced. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the restaurant, which has been extended and refurbished is stunning and elegnant.Our food arrived hot and aromatic and was so tasty - we were treated like royalty, nothing was too much trouble, and my son who has complex needs was really taken care off and the staff went the extra mile to ensure that his needs were met. My compliments go to all who have and contine to make this a very special place to eat and I left feeling full and safe in the knowledge that we were safe while there. We are now planning our next visit

Tried this restaurant for the first time and found this to be excellent. Put the order in and it arrived in good time and the taste was delicious. Food was hot and flavoursome and fresh. Would like to come in for a table service meal soon but I will be ordering again for delivery soon. Thank you.

Visited for a get together, had a recent re-fit in the restaurant, looks much more appealing and also modernised to a great spec, going back to the food it was good as usual and a great late night snack! Thanks to the owner for entertaining us!
