Masala Inn Restaurant in Bexley

I discovered the Masala Inn about a year ago, and have visited many times since, the staff are so friendly, the food is amazing, the place is very clean. Can't wait to get back.

Delivery within 30min on a Friday. Blown away by the quality and quantity, the flavour was amazing! Tender chunks of chicken and the rice was so aromatic. (Korai+Pilau) This has just become my fav Indian take away. Massive thanks to the staff.

This is our local and we love coming in here for a curry and also a chat with Kaz! Amazing food, service and atmosphere - full of people. Cobra on draught is a personal highlight.

Not the usual quality. The food arrived without the chutney that was ordered, and the naan was burnt. Delivery was great, considering i had left off my door number! Thank you to the driver

I came here 7 years ago and said then that it had become, overnight, the best curry restaurant in the area! Busy most nights - with a great atmosphere and staff who are simply the best. It is still hitting the ball out of the stadium. Zaman, Kaz and the team in the kitchen and front of house are amazing. I try to eat here at least twice a month and have never been disappointed - this place is brilliant.

Fui a este restaurante con mi marido, ya que había oído que el propietario tenía 3 restaurantes locales. Ojalá hubiera sabido que 2 de ellos se habían disuelto. Después de ir aquí sé absolutamente por qué. Nunca me he quejado de una comida, pero no podía dejar pasar esto. No quiero que nadie más desperdicie su dinero ganado con tanto esfuerzo en ese lugar. Comida fría, recalentada y grasienta. El personal, incluido el llamado propietario, era inútil. Sin integridad. Aléjate es todo lo que puedo decir.

Bangladeshi take on Indian cuisine.

Estaba visitando a un amigo y estaba deseando ir a este restaurante, fue terrible el personal era grosero y poco interesado, la comida no tenía sabor todo sabía igual que era caro y no podía esperar a irme. No malgastes tu dinero y definitivamente no volveré.

Esta fue nuestra segunda visita a Masala Inn, en ambas ocasiones visitamos con el mismo grupo de 6 personas en total, incluyendo un vegetariano. El personal es muy amable, bien informado y siempre a mano para cualquier cosa que necesite. Pedidos de comida y bebida tomados rápidamente y todos llegaron a tiempo también. En la primera ocasión que visitamos, fui por el pollo de pólvora y (casi literalmente) me quedé impresionado por el calor! Disfruto un curry caliente y este es más picante que la mayoría de los vindaloo que encontrarías en otros lugares. Afortunadamente, en lugar de ser solo un calor abrasador, es capa tras capa de sabor y por eso lo pedí de nuevo. Un gran curry caliente. Aparte del Pollo Pólvora caliente en llamas, teníamos una variedad de platos diferentes, incluyendo entrantes y poppadoms (¿quién dice que no a poppadoms y bandeja de pepinillos de todos modos? ) Todo el mundo estaba satisfecho con sus comidas, la calidad era una vez más excelente y difícil de encontrar un defecto con nada. Nos encanta este lugar y cada vez que estamos de vuelta aquí, sin duda volveremos a visitar. Felicitaciones especiales a Kaz (¡espero haber acertado con su nombre! ) ya que estuvo genial, se rió y compartió algunas historias sobre los orígenes de la comida. Ve y disfruta 😊

This place is a little gem in Bexleyheath. I honestly can’t fault it. Loved getting a take away there many times. Never disappointed. The food is spot on and the service and friendliness of those running it is amazing. Same level goes for dining in, of course, only more personal.

Very poor quality of food portions was very small the Nan breads was burnt all the dishes tasted the same never going back there no wonder we were the only customers.

Easily the best local Indian restaurant. We were immediately welcomed upon walking in, and the staff were all excellent—very friendly and attentive. They even boxed up our takeaway for us! The food was superb; all the dishes were 10/10, and I would highly recommend the railway lamb for any curry lovers. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was amazing, feeling very luxurious, and everything was clean and tidy. I will definitely be coming back many times in the future.

The food is very good especially the Karla bhuna, the service was very attentive. We went as a family and all enjoyed the menu. The only issue I found was I ordered a starter (Mali Tikka) which was plain boiled chicken with cheese on top, it was vile and I’m confused why it’s on the menu/ comes with a warning that it’s very bland.

Food arrived hot. I really enjoyed the curry and meat biriyani. Although I thought the samosas were a bit expensive for two small pieces.

I had to call the restaurant as the delivery was so late. They never apologised just blamed the traffic. When the food arrived it wasn’t very warm and there was no apology from the delivery driver.

Didn't send my full order called them they didn't want to help apparently sometimes there's a glitch on the website so they only recieved the main meals, the money I paid didnt even add up correctly for just the main meals, they told me they would call me back when they looked into it, never called me so I called them again and was just consistently told me there's nothing they will do. Won't use them again for the price they charge compared to others you would expect better customer service and understanding. IN RESPONSE TO THE COMMENT BELOW: Your colleague didn't offer me what you have claimed he said I can order more food online (despite it being your website error and the money I spent not making sense) and I would have had to wait the 50 min delivery time so it didn't make sense for the rest of my food to spoil whilst waiting.. good attempt at a diplomatic response though.

Great food and great prices. The staff could do with some training on not leaning over you while eating to collect one empty Coke bottle which could wait until you’ve eaten and leave you in piece to enjoy the food. Apart from that a great restaurant. But please improve on the customer service side of things.

We usually use the waterside curry but they don’t deliver so I decided to try this after looking at reviews. Needless to say this curry house was incredible, exactly what I’m used to, will use again.

Great entertainment whilst dining with family and friends

I booked to go to this restaurant on their website after hearing it went to the national final of a competition. I stated 1 member of the party has a dairy intolerance. When we arrived we were shown to our table. We had poppadoms to start. I found the service really strange and felt like women were treated like 2nd class citizens. The waiter was more concerned about the needs of my partner, constantly stating sir first. It was really strange. Another waiter kept on asking if we were ready to order. I would understand if it was busy but although there were people in there they weren't rushed off their feet. In the end we ordered before we had finished the poppadoms. It turns out they don't actually cater for intolerances. I asked for a balti and they said it contains ghee. So they made a dish without ghee in the end, instead they added coconut milk. It was the most saltiest dish I've ever had. You can tell they really didn't want me to be there. The rest of my parties meals were nice. I won't be going back. It is certainly not a place where you feel welcome that's for sure!

Such a lovely meal and Kaz is the best host!! Food incredible! Staff, amazing! We need this in Bexleyheath!!!

We visited here for the first time with friends last night and it was fabulous. We all live locally and have never thought about coming here but we are so glad we did. Food, ambience, decor and service was all 5*. Will definitely visit again.

The food was fantastic and the service was great also. However, the interior could use a little updating, especially for a place that has good food and service. No windows inside the restaurant so it’s very dimly lit and dark. It would be nice if there were some plants and lighter color.

Had a delivery via Just Eat. Food was OK, although no better than any other Indian meal we’ve had, and certainly not as good as the reputation suggests. Portion size seemed small, especially for the money we paid. To top it off there were items missing from the order…

The Dhansak was nice enough but the King Prawn Madras was strangely sweet.

I had the absolute pleasure of dinning here, we had a family dinner/birthday meet and it was fab, delicious food and lovely staff. Kawsad especially, he made us feel at ease and everything he did was perfect. Thank you.

Went here with a friend, we only had a main meal and drinks. All the staff were lovely and attentive, answering our culinary questions and making sure everything was up to a high standard. Come and eat here, it's wonderful!

We had a great meal here, food was tasty, we had great service and all of the staff were really friendly. Was a bit noisy in the restaurant but only because they were so busy, which is definitely a good thing! Had some more unusual dishes on the menu that we hadn't had before at other Indian restaurants which was nice. Would definitely come back.

Very welcoming staff , however the food was very greasy. This is a real shame , for a local Indian . We won’t be returning . We found the tables too close together .

I ordered my food to be delivered at 19.30 and it arrived at 19.00 and it was cold. As my guest wasn,t arriving for another15mins I had to reheat the food. I use Masala Inn as a treat as the food is wonderful but too expensive for me on a regular basis so as you can imagine I was very dissappointed.

I chose Masala Inn for my birthday meal due to it's great tripadvisor reviews & being a central location for our couples & it certainly didn't disappoint. We chose a variety of dishes, all of which were piping hot, very tasty at reasonable prices. The staff were extremely friendly & attentive & we never felt rushed, which suited us fine. The decor & lighting gives a great ambience & the four of us had a great evening so we wouldn't hesitate in recommending this restaurant.

The food was nice, though rather expensive for what we ordered.

Timing of the order was spot on couldn’t have been better, however when the food was received it was all really cold had to reheat the whole order as it was all so cold. I love your restaurant I use you all the time and recommend to everyone. Due to the fact I use you guys so often is it possible to have quantity for the bill refunded due to the freezing cold food please. I don’t want to have to stop youse and go elsewhere so hoping you will be able to help me on this refund. Thank you Tilly.

I had to call to see if the driver was lost, only to be told the food was still in the kitchen. When it arrived, every item was cold. The journey by car is 10 mins max, it took 1hr 40mins to arrive. Extremely disappointing

Had a lovely meal, food was delicious, hot when it came out and nicely presented. The staff were super polite and kind. Only negative is that my biriyany was a little too spicy but that is personal preference.

We booked for a Saturday night meal We arrived and the table wasn’t ready so had to sit and wait for 20 minutes which usually isn’t a problem but when you pay for 2 hrs parking it’s a pain Now to the meal Ordered a selection of food Starters were very nice chops / poppdoms all nice and fresh Mains next the curries were flavourful nice amount of spice The side dishes I wasn’t so keen on Okra and aubergine were all chopped into little pieces so you couldn’t really tell what they were and for me were slightly undercooked The stuff were very nice and apologised for the delay so can’t fault them

Went to Masala inn on Friday 1st March at 7pm and was full! Luckily I had booked but great service, great food and will definitely will be returning We had buttered chicken and chicken tikka masala with plain and coconut rice, with plain and peshwari naan and was delicious

What a wonderful dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff at Masala Inn made us feel welcome. Kaz, our server was knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect dishes based on our preferences. Everything we ordered was fantastic, especially the Malabar chicken; so rich and creamy! If you're looking for amazing Indian food, Masala Inn is the place to go!

A very tasty meal for a family and guests. We ordered a range of meals including chicken dhansak, palak paneer and Dahl. The food was delicious (but the best we have had but certainly very enjoyable). The staff were amazing and very sweet to my two young sons. Would definitely return.

One of the beat Indian restaurants I have been in as soon as you walk in the door the staff are very friendly and welcoming the food is amazing full of flavour and really good value for money. All the staff where absolutely brilliant with the kids a really good family friendly restaurant. Highly recommended nothing was to much trouble have been I'm here a few times and it is never disappointing great food and service every time.

We have eaten here several times over the last 5 or so years. The food and service is always of a high standard and the atmosphere is pleasant.

We were recommended Masala Inn by friends, and it didn't disappoint, this is a very good restaurant serving excellent freshly prepared food at competitive prices. The staff were superb, very attentive and attentive, Kaz in particular was very helpful, recommending dishes to our taste which were delicious. We had a really enjoyable evening and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited last night with 3 colleagues, we were absolutely blown away by not only the quality of the food but also the outstanding service. A real gem, we're already plotting our next team meeting to ensure we bring the team here.

Upon my first visit, I ate in and randomly chose what happened to be my new favourite dish. When I next called to order a takeaway, I couldn't remember what the dish was. The service I received was above and beyond. To help me find what I was looking for, they provided me with samples of sauce. They were so devoted to ensuring I got what I was looking for. I now know that my dish is Pasanda, and it is so nice! I can not speak more highly of the service received and dedication to pleasing the customer and building relationships. Thank you. Highly recommend.

Lovely meal at restaurant last night was fully booked but managed to fit us in half hour later took our phone number we went for a drink and he called us back had nice table ready good service lovely meal thankyou to zaman fir excellent service.

Unfortunately this restaurant is, in my opinion, distinctly average. Price was competitive but food very ordinary. My prawn sagwala was bland in taste, my colleague's madras (sauce) looked like it had come from a bottle and our rice from a microwave oven. In addition to which our main course arrived when our papadoms had not been finished. This is not a dining venue I would recommend.

Ordered in advance - 5pm for delivery at 7pm. We live a short distance from the restaurant and are regular customers. Phoned at 7.15 - told food arriving imminently. Didn't arrive until 7.25. Must try harder I'm afraid. Food fantastic though.

We pre ordered from Uber on the 30th of December for Uber to cancel our order 15 mins before the delivery time. I phoned the restaurant and they apologised and blamed Uber. ( I believe Uber couldn’t get a driver ) The restaurant were then fantastic they took my order direct and gave us a discount to say sorry ( even though I don’t believe it was there fault ) We had been going to our normal curry house for 8 years and it sadly closed in November. So this was our first time ordering from here. The food was excellent and worth the wait so we will be returning. And again I’d like to thank the restaurant for being proactive and helpful when Uber had let me down.

Excellent food and service. This is our second time here. This time Six of us ate and nothing was too much trouble. We had a Shashlik, Tikka Massla, Biryani, Korma and a Bhuna and everyone said all the dishes were tasty. We would come back again!
