The best restaurants serving Indian food in East of England

Sorry but I def won’t be booking for Christmas food from you. I’ve just had this which is chicken tikka masala. It is 5 pieces of chicken in what I can only describe as vile soup. I get you do 50% off but I would rather be able to eat it than literally throw it away like I’ve just done. Very disappointed

Average Food and poor service, Gave a cramped space and didn't even say where to hang the jackets, charged for the water and the glasses were old, we kept all the food half eaten, the briyani was awfull, tasted like a spicy rice..finally we felt better after drinking coke.. Such a rude reply..i am not expecting anything free, when you charge for water you should ensure the glasses are clean..it is very old and we can see the coatings came off..we never took the leftover_ don't make wrong statements.. anyways we already found a better restaurant near by who knows how to serve their customers better.

As someone who finds dining out stressful and awkward, I would recommend the Shuhag to anyone and everyone. I went for my 22nd birthday, greeted by the ever welcoming staff, the food is as my partner could only describe as “decedent” and too top it off they then gifted me a bottle of wine a sang happy birthday with a cheesecake and a candle. It was such a wholesome feeling and I’ll always remember it.

The food was excellent, tasty and a good portion size. I was unaware of this place but will go here from now on. Really good value for money.

Good service but the food was bland, i did not know that was possible with indian food! I will try again maybe i was unlucky

I used to be a regular customer at Mint, but my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered chicken fried rice, but it took over 1.5 hours for the delivery to arrive. Not only was the food undercooked, but we also found hair in it. When I tried to address the issue with Ameen, he seemed too busy to listen and hung up on me. I've been ordering from this restaurant since 2021, but after this bad experience, I've decided to stop. Sorry, Ameen. It's a shame.

Visited with family including two children and one disabled member. All were well accommodated . Pleasant experience as always.

Food ready to collect quickly, and absolutely delicious Bhuna and Masala.

Had a lovely stay at the Clayton hotel, Very clean, good location and very helpful staff, Marta on reception deserves extra praise, so helpful, Also Marta B in restaurant so helpful and jolly. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Cambridge.
