Lovely food delivered on time as usual.

Over 20 of us had a Diwali meal a few days ago at the Banyan tree. Food was spicey and delicious. Service great. I'll be going again!

I ordered food as a delivery for a family dinner. Didn't receive what I ordered. Called to ask for a replacement only to receive the same again.... The wrong thing. Called a second time and spoke to a very rude, abrupt man who tried to say I was not clear with what I wanted, which of course I was when I rang. I clarified what I wanted and they agreed to replace it only to sent the same thing. After a lot of 'debating' about the situation with him I requested a refund to be told I would have to drive to the restaurant to collect it - if I was going to do this then we would have eaten in. I asked once again for the dish I had originally ordered to be told this was the last time they were replacing it..... None of which would have been needed if they got it correct in the first time. I agreed to which the man abruptly hangs the phone up on me. No goodbye or apology for the inconvenience!!!! My family had all eaten their dinner and my bread was cold and rock hard by the time I got my curry. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN

i love india lodge i love chicken tikka and everyone is very very very very freindly and they also fed me a chop and gave us free food

10 of us visited on the 2nd November for our daughters 30th Birthday. The first red flag was their insistence on a cash deposit of £100 which they said would be forfeit if anyone didn’t turn up. We arrived at 7 but found the service was incredibly slow. Requests for drinks were ignored, waiters took drinks orders for just half the group and were not at all attentive. It took an hour and a half from ordering mains for the food to arrive. Thanks goodness we didn’t order starters! To be fair the food was excellent, when it finally arrived, but the wait was unacceptable. The waiters were often missing, we were in the part of the restaurant with larger groups, there were four tables of around 10 per table, but there were often no waiters to be seen. When we did see waiters they often ignored us, ignored requests and were generally unhelpful. Considering the very long wait for food this was appalling. I notice a number of other reviews have commented on service being slow. We were given just £15 off our bill for the very long wait for food, less than the cost of one main. The service was so dreadful that we will not come back again despite the great food.

Amazing people, would do again.

Originally called up for an early table, but understandably none available NYE at short notice. When my husband arrived to collect he said the restaurant was empty and there were more people waiting for takeaways than eating in the restaurant. Husband arrived home very quickly after with the food, daughter’s main missing along with a missing naan bread. Everything else Luke warm. Called up to advise food was missing and I was told driving was heading our way and they would drop it in. Did try to tell the guy on the phone the rest of it was already cold but he was clearly preoccupied within the restaurant. Stood around like lemons waiting for the rest of our food, remainder turned up also cold. So had to microwave the lot. 👍👍 First time ordering from here after moving to the area, unfortunately I doubt we will rush back.

Ordered takeaway for delivery on New Years Eve, but the food didn't arrive! Tried phoning several times, but no answer. Eventually got in contact with them 2.5 hours later & they had the cheek to say your food is ready, we will deliver it now. I said it's too late, I want a refund. I was told I had to go the restaurant with my bank card for my refund. I refused to do this & they eventually agreed to refund me over the phone. Absolutely shocking & will never be ordering from them again!!!

This was an amazing takeaway. Herbs and spices used so skillfully. You were able to savour the taste. Especially recommend the Everest Chicken

Most miserable atmosphere ive seen in a while and the staff/ manager probably the most rude bloke ive ever met, telling me what i can or cannot have , wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back. Cheer up and learn some manners

Im not gonna lie - the food is delicious. We went 2 weeks ago and loved it so much we came back week after. But the following day I got the most savage food poisoning ever. I ordered the chicken Balti. My partner and child were thankfully fine as they had a different dish. I was unwell for 4 days and lost 2kg (at least I got rid of the Christmas belly I suppose…)! Gave me the worst fear of Indian food!! Will not be having it again anytime soon 😭😭

Food was amazing (Lamb Rajasthani Nawaz). Haven't had this dish for a while, but superb. Staff are always brilliant, friendly and attentive, and Connor is always good fun. Highly recommended.

Food is amaizng as always. The service is much better than before now. The new waitar Maz is professional and very friendly. New desserts are also a nice change. Try the San Sebastian Cheescake.
