We ordered a takeaway with delivery on 30th August 24 Chicken Balti Veg Korma Poppadom's x 4 and 2 x Masala Poppadom's Absolutely first class. I moved to the area 10 years ago and we dont order many Indian takeaways because I just dont like the quality. After this evenings meal I will definitely order again and will also dine in their restaurant in future. This is without doubt the best Indian meal in the area. Faith restored Even the delivery gentleman was polite and a pleasure to deal with.

Really enjoyable meal. The food was good, some nice starters and main courses. The all you can eat deal is a definite, nice to try a variety of dishes that aren't over sized portions. Service was fast and friendly. I'll be going back here soon

Happy it arrived early. The rice was good, the chicken tikka was acceptable. The naan was quite doughy and didn’t have what I’d consider, an adaquate amount of keema meat in. Tried the halloumi, not for me, but nothing overly wrong with it. Just wouldn’t order it again. Had some really good takeaways from here, so hoping this is just a momentary lapse in quality

Five of us went a la carte this time. Super Mach Baji and sheek kebab. Due to time constraints we ordered biryani (prawn and chicken) - both served super promptly. Our guests and I enjoyed the lamb rogan josh together with sag paneer (would have preferred a little more spice than sweetness in this dish) and peshwari nan (😋). Total bill came to £120 for six of us.

Got take away, both lamb & chicken was very good meat quality. Definitely will be our new go to Indian from now on…lovely.

This could easily be the best Indian takeaway in Huntingdonshire, the food is sublime and far surpasses the competition. That said, unfortunately they have a huge problem with missing items off the order when ordering delivery. Almost every time we’ve ordered something has been missing, tonight for example we had the Bombay potatoes missing. Called up and because they are always “really busy” all they can offer is a deduction off the next order which invariably I always forget to phone up and mention when I next order. If they just sorted out the organisation of their takeaway deliveries this could easily be a 5* Indian restaurant. Annoyingly the food is so good, it’s not enough to put me off ordering again, but I really wish I’d just have a complete order turn up next time!

One of the best indian food we've tried. Lots of prawns in the tiger prawn biryani! A must try! Naan bread so soft and tikka massala was spot on! Sag aloo was cooked to perfection! You get your money's worth!

Hidden amazing secret with absolutely delicious various food choices! A MUST when you’re in the area. The host are incredibly welcoming and tailor to your questions. They have an unheard of “All you can eat” option that affords you the opportunity to try all types of cuisines. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious. Again, highly recommended and recommend asking for Juned. ENJOY!

The restaurant offers the option to order what you fancy from the menu or for £25 they offer an all you can eat option. You pick dishes off the menu, starting with starters and then moving onto mains, you cannot go back to starters after moving onto the mains. My wife and I went on a Tuesday evening and had the all you can eat. The starters were excellent. I would recommend the hollumi fries, I also really liked the Shekh kebab. We over indulged on the starters and so could only manage one main each. I had 'Mamas Goat' I had very tasty with minimal heat, my wife had a Korma which was rich and very creamy. The mains came out in small dessert bowls to give you an approximate portion size. The staff were friendly and attentive. It wasn't the cheapest all you can eat Indian but it is one of the best in quality. I look forward to going there again.

Ordered in. Delivered in 20 minutes. The chicken tikka was wonderful. And if you want to light your mouth on fire, order the Naga Lamb. Super spicy yet delicious! The best Indian cuisine in Huntingdon for sure.

Excellent all you can eat that is great value and well worth the trip

Awful service, waited over an hour and half with no updates, only to find out that they hadn't even started cooking the order after chasing them up. What a disappointing service...

2nd time of visiting this restaurant, very disappointed this time round. Food was lovely but was let down by a member of staff who tried to charge us extra £5pp for leaving a little extra food that did not warrant extra charge. We only ordered 1 rice between 2 and a naan between 2. Ordered 2 dishes each but 1 dish I did not like it so did not finish it and was told that we should of not ordered it even though when you pay a standard fee for eat as much as you want. Thought this member of staff was very rude and demanding that we need to pay an extra £5pp x 4 or we had to eat it. Never going back again due to this incident and also a screaming kid that was on another table which couldn't be helped but also ruined the evening

We ordered a biryani, chicken bhuna and lamb balti. Flavour profile immaculate. A perfect level of spiciness. Not swimming in oil. Friendly delivery driver. If we could afford to we'd order every day!

Awful took £56 over the phone from me, confirmed delivery by email at a certain time. When I called to find out where my order was, they told me I clicked collection, which I didn't, and then demanded another £9.20 for delivery. It's cost me money but I will never order anything or eat from them again

Really lovely place, the food was amazing and the staff were really lovely, we went on a Thursday evening so it was very quiet but still a lovely atmosphere.

My wife and I have Mama's Indian delivered all the time! We love their chicken korma! Tonight we decided to go in for the first time and I must say that the naan on delivery is good, but just out of the oven in the restaurant it's 100 times better.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant and me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the food. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The a la carte all you can eat buffet for £23 (weekdays) was amazing value for money. The staff were very polite and attentive. We will definitely return and highly recommend it!

Had butter naan with a chicken curry. It was okay.Nothing exceptional but does the job. However the prices are on the higher end and I would have expected a bit more for that kind of a price. I believe this is the third Indian restaurant in Huntingdon and definitely the competition is on.

There is no better place than Mamas Indian for miles best fresh food

Ordered and delivered in under half an hour. Food was amazing. Eaten in the restaurant a few times now and loved it so thought we would try the take away and it was still amazing. Our new favourite Indian 👍🏼

Apart from the total coming to nearly £60 which wasn't really helped by the £4 delivery fee, the food was really good.

If there's a party of you you all have to have the same meaning if you want all you can eat then everyone has to have it .or off the menu you all have to have it and its 25£ for all you can eat and to be honest there's only a couple of £ difference not unless you eat loads of starters

I’m not joking when I say this. I’ve had a fair few Tikka Masala’s from different places over the years but the one tonight was hands down the best one I’ve ever had. The flavour was very rich and I genuinely was really surprised by how tasty it was.

An excellent first meal and will definitely return. Really great value for money at £23 per head all you can eat! With all you can eat, you get to try different things on the menu. The flavours were really good and all the food tasted great. Stand outs were the onion bahji’s, vegetable vindaloo, tarka dhal and naan bread. Service very friendly and prompt. The best Indian restaurant in Huntingdon in my opinion.

Delicious food, great service. We had the chicken jalfrezi (£8) and bombay aloo (£5), mixed starters (£5) and dessert (£5). The food isn’t that spicy but has lots of flavour. The naan is so soft and filling. Very reasonably priced too. Attentive and polite service and decent ambiance. I’d recommend because the food is excellent, service is excellent and price is excellent.

Had a fantastic meal on Saturday 2nd September. We were a party of 5 adults and 2 children. The service was quick and staff very very helpful and polite. The food was really good,tasted lovely and very tasty plenty of choice,we all enjoyed our meal there,would definitely go again. The restaurant was absolutely packed,so that tells you how good this restaurant is. I have also had 3 takeaways for myself,quick delivery and always hot and very tasty.

If you go for the 'all you can eat buffet' great, otherwise not worth the money and the portion sizes are small, like kids sizes. The waiter also got confused and bought us the wrong bill, first bill charging us the 'all you can eat buffet', then we corrected him and it came back more; poor service, extremely loud and the decor needs a revamp... don't think we'll be back. Shame after hearing all the great reviews!

Das Essen war so gut, dass wir in deine ersten Runden vergessen haben, Fotos zu machen! Wir haben uns sofort auf das Essen gestürzt. Wir haben das „All-you-can-eat“ gewählt, um nahezu alle Gerichte zu probieren und zu teilen! Von den Vorspeisen, über die Naan Brote, bis zu den Hauptgängen war alles wirklich sehr gut. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

We popped in for a take away collection an was blown away just from the interior and the customer service we were given waited for what must have been five minutes after ordering and the food was handed to us .. Once home began a feast we had three starters three mains and a few extras shared between three of us and this was an absolute pleasure for the taste buds every dish was absolutely amazing I had the mama's goat the the taste wow ... you can taste the love care and passion that goes in to the preparation of your dishes an the fresh ingredients used the meatwas so tender absolutely melted in my mouth didnt need cutleryat all . If your considering an Indian this is the place to go . By far the best Indian food I have had ever ... ! Thank you so much I will be back again !

Very disappointing not happy at all not going to eat from anymore

We dined in for their all you can eat menu option. Very tasty! Foods made to order and you have as many sides as you want before moving to the main courses. Will definitely be going again.

A tasty and well cooked, meal the onion bahjis are lovely, only one minor criticism, the squid was a bit chewy. The staff are attentive but not over bearing and happy to suggest a dish if you tell them what you like.

Very first time visiting Mamas. We were welcomed in by very friendly staff. Staff were very polite and easy going. They gave us a lovely table. Our starters and drinks came out prompt. We ordered some speciality dishes. Naga Chicken. Coconut King Prawn. And we were so impressed. Tasted really lovely. We are used to traditional home cooked Indian (This was very very close) They offer a £22 -£25 all you can eat buffet. But we opted out. Will definately recommend. And will definately be returning with family. The kindness and hospitality shown was impeccable. And very kind to the kids. Very happy

Nice classic Indian food,great service and spaceful place. Definitely going to order here more as we love in the area and it's been a while since we had a decent Indian food restaurant there!

A few friends and I came here and thought it was a decent place. They did some things really well and some things not so well (hence their 3 star score). As for the appetizers, the good was the onion bhai and chicken tikka pieces. The okay was seekh kebabs which could have used some more flavoring. The bad was the lamb samosa. Literally had NO flavor to it. The main course consisted of chicken vindaloo, chicken jalfrezi, lamb korma and chicken tikka masala. I thought the chicken jalfrezi was amazing. We liked it so much we ordered it twice. The korma and the chicken tikka masala was too sweet and not edible. We ended up eating the meat from their but the sauce was not good. The chicken vindaloo was okay, flavorful but nothing special. The best part of all the food was the naan. It was definitely one of the best naans I've ever had. If we are in the area, it's one of those places I'll come back to, to eat the few things we enjoyed.

Now, im not one for leaving reviews on google, infact this is my first one but after tonights meal i felt compelled to do so as curry is my favorite meal. I could eat it every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner! After reading the reviews on here we decided to give Mamas a go as it was my sons 18th and we, as a family of 5 love curry and very often go out for dinner or grab a take out from a variety of curry houses around the local areas. We opted for the the all you can eat for £25 a head and the starters were great but the mains were frankly extremely disappointing. My wifes "go to" curry, a chicken Tikka masala was like chicken in tomato soup with more spice (heat) than it should have had. Bright orange with no hint of almond or coconut on the back of the pallet just tomato. I opted for a chicken pathia which is a yellowish onion based dish but was packed with tomato in the sauce and that was more than evident in the dark orange colour and taste which was super sweet and overpowered by tomato. Where was the onion?? Not a single one in the dish. I couldnt even eat it! The Dhansak which my daughter had, and also happens to be my favorite curry was a nice thick consistency with a good build of heat to it but once again the tomato base sauce just came through too strong and if it was for me, i couldnt have eaten it. Would have been a 1 star but my son liked his chicken bhuna, the starters were nice and the 4 garlic naans were cooked beutiful. Fluffy and moist with a nice crispy base. Extremely disappointed with the mains tonight. Maybe it was an off night as everyone else seems to rave about it but unfortunately we wont be eating at Mamas again. Absolutely gutted.

Great place to eat with great staff. I was ordering and the waiter advised me to go fir the 20 quid all you can eat option. Didn't go overboard but had £34 worth of food for £20. All round first class

The Mama's Goat is excellent. Strongly recommend. A few friends have had different dishes and all say was spot on!!
