It was delicious food and the service of delivery is just amazing.

Wonderful food, huge portions, hot and fresh. Staff so friendly and overall a wonderful night out.

We came last Friday with group of friends. It was our first time at Rajpoot, but definitely not the last! Food was delicious and staff went above & beyond with their service. It was such a lovely night, thank you!

Food was amazing, no issues serving a group of over 20 people. Staff were very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend. We ate in this time, but we have also used the take away service which was equality as brilliant. Will definitely being using again.

It was absolutely delicious food as always

We went as a group. We have ordered plenty of food and to be honest they are not indian authentic but kind of different taste. The taste was average and the service was horrible. The guy literally forgot the order I had placed and later when I asked for my order he said Sorry. I thought that's fine It happened to everyone and I asked him to get some other food and crazily he replied "you would have ordered at the first". I mean I went to rajput twice but the service is extremely bad and I always come out with a half filled stomach. They need to be trained in customer service.

We ordered a take away which was quick to be collected. Upon arriving back to where we were staying, we realised they had sent partly the wrong order. I contacted them via phone call, and was passed to an extremely rude woman. She was adamant that we had the correct order and when I questioned why the vegetable samosas had meat in, she explained she had checked the camera’s and they were vegetable - evidently I need to get my eyes checked. Rather than offering to replace them, she just argued over the phone. She asked for my address so she could come and check herself (even though they 100% contained meat) which I found ridiculous and went against my privacy and security. In the end, I gave up because she was rude and quite threatening. The food itself was average - the popadoms were very nice but the chicken was dry. I’m not someone to post negative reviews as I would rather take it up with them directly, but unfortunately this isn’t the case.

So, I've been here a fair few times now, and honestly, it never disappoints. We booked a table on Saturday – it was quiet, sure, but the staff? Polite, courteous, the lot. Proper nice. I went for the chicken tikka masala, partner had the paneer pasanda – both, absolutely spot on. Delicious. Then, the owner pops over for a chat to make sure everything’s alright, and guess what? Turns out both our daughters are in the same year at school. Small world, eh? And to top it off, he gives us a complimentary drink and starts chatting about how they make their curries – which is right up my street because I love a bit of curry cooking myself. Said I could even pop by one day to see how it’s all done. Honestly, can't recommend it enough. It’s now our go-to in Huntingdon – top-notch curries, brilliant service, the works. Thank you see you soon!

Ordered chicken tika which is usually a creamy mild curry. It was highly spiced(I hate highly spiced food) and pure red sauce with no cream or yoghurt at all. Next time I'll save money and get one from tesco and not have my mouth burnt. Also chicken was tough.

Fantastic Indian, my absolute favourite and our treat takeaway for once in a while!

We came in last minute with no booking on my girlfriend’s birthday after being let down by two separate restaurants and our birthday plans fell through. Feeling pretty deflated we came in and was greeted by a lovely scenery, lovely incense, friendly staff and music. The staff were so friendly and made us feel at home. Very knowledgeable about the food, made amazing recommendations for me (a self confessed fussy eater) and really looked after us. At the end, knowing the hassle we had, they brought Ella over a birthday ice cream and sang happy birthday. The whole experience was great, the food was amazing and they saved the night. Can’t recommend enough, can’t thanks them enough. 10/10, we will be back again.

Excellent food and service, fresh, not greasy and full of flavour. One of the tastiest Indian meals i’ve had. Attentive and professional service. Definite 10 out of 10.

We had a lovely meal here tonight. There was a set meal offer, which was great value. The waiter was really helpful, explaining what we would enjoy and his advice was great. The food was delicious, the meat was so tender. Great service, very friendly. We’ll definitely go back next time we’re in the area.

This restaurant staff got a massive bad attitude. They don’t know how to speak with someone . They don’t know the manners how to approach a customer . This is the worse experience I’ve had in my life. The management has to be careful about this . And one more thing that i don’t think this restaurant is halal . When i asked them about the halal certification they start behaving rudely .

Having to knock off a star after a long wait for the second time in recent weeks at collection, followed by not-very-fresh bhaji and curry and rubbery naan. ---- We've sadly never been to the restaurant but get their food delivered every week or two. It's the best Indian food I've ever had, consistently good and great service too. The saag aloo and onion Bhaji are out of this world good. The veg is fresh too!

We actually ordered a takeaway as it was a Sunday night so we wanted a quiet night in. The meal was excellent, piping hot and bang on time. The Lamb Tawa Shashlik Balti was delicious with big chunks of lean, tender lamb in a flavoursome sauce. The Chicken Nehari was excellent too with lots of chicken and the King Prawn Vindaloo had plenty of kick as well as plenty of prawns. I really enjoyed the Bhindi Bhaji Side because the lady's fingers (okra) in a tasty sauce still had a bit of bite rather than stewed to mush. Staff were really friendly and we had a great meal with no hassle. Thank you!

Warmly greeted by staff on arrival and shown to my table. No draught beer is available, but they have a large selection of bottled beer. Special thanks to the member of staff who, on hearing me ask for spiced onions, said he knew how to make them and prepared a portion for me. Food arrived quickly, and both Shami kebab and Lamb Bombay Naga were very good. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely eat here again if I return to the area again. Highly recommended.

The best curry any where is Cambridgeshire. The softest fat free lamb full of fresh flavours. Service is excellent.

Can’t fault the food here. Been twice in last 5 months. Food well priced and tasty. Service after finished main course is odd, after plates taken away, nobody came to our table to offer us dessert or drinks which we would of had. After an hour or so just asked for the bill and went.

Having heard good reviews thought we’d give the restaurant a try and couldn’t have been happier, food, service and location all excellent. Will definitely be going back.

Freezing cold no flavour wouldn’t not recommend

We pre booked as a party of 30 some time in advance. Service was swift and the starters were adequate. Unfortunately the mains were underwhelming - eg the prawn Balti featured tiny rock-hard shrimps approx 1cm in diameter rather than actual succulent prawns. Naans we're plentiful, fluffy and delicious as was the rice. If we were to base our review on the carbs side of things it would be 10/10. Shame, as the venue is such an interesting old house with no doubt a rich history of it's own.

Absolutely first-class. The food is consistently amazing, always cooked to perfection and the service is excellent. The price is slightly higher than other local restaurants but for the quality you get, it's soooooo worth it. Highly recommended...! 🙂

Fish curry and korma lovely.. delivered quickly

Waiting over an hour and a half for our food and had to call to confirm the order. It then arrived and one of our orders was missing so we had to call back and we then got told to re-check the bag and that someone was going to review cctv because they were adamant they packed it. I wouldn’t be calling again if items were missing? I know mistakes happen but it was just ridiculous.

Ordered online, had delivery from them before with no issues , obviously £50+ plus £5 delivery was not enough to make it worth their while. Absolutely understand, but why thumbs up from restaurant, shows it’s cooking, and the 45 mins later refused as out of their delivery area.?Pay day weekend? Not enough in it to bother? I won’t bother again

Chicken starter was absolutley delicious. Made with chicken breast cubes well marinated and served with salads on the side. Portion size can be a bit more genorous.But I rate 8/10 easily. Lamb biriyani didn't meet the expectations.Firstly the lamb chunks were too big .But there was a plenty of meet in it. But I didn't get the authentic biriyani flavours in it.The things were further complicated with adding green peas in it. The portion size was generous and can share with two people. I will only give flat 6/10 for the Biriyani.

We got take from Rajpoot on NYE. It was very east to place an order over the phone, and we were told the foord would be ready to collecrt in 30 mins. Arrived at the resturant 30 mins later and the food was ready shortly after. Tasted great and decent portions.

Very hot food good quality well run with a cocktail bar in the same building used to be the old masons lodge nice building.

Everything was great, however the Lid was not put onto the tub correctly, therefore it split and wasn't very hot at all on one of the curries. Food was great as always, but a little cold and messy due to lid not being done properly.

Service was great, food was nice and hot. Naan breads were fantastic. Unfortunately my curry was not hot even though advertised as very hot. It was also supposed to include green chillies but there were none. Very disappointing for the price which I found quite expensive, but willing to pay if I got what I ordered. Shame.

The staff were very friendly, but the food was not so good. We were in a function room so the atmosphere was not brilliant. The decor of the restaurant looked more appealing.

In the basement of a once Masonic Lodge but worry not! Great service ambience, and food. The go-to Bangladeshi/Indian in Huntingdon. (Oh - and a cool cocktail and wine bar on ground floor too.

Should've read critical reviews before visiting. Very average food. Confused with their positioning - English Curry vs Indian Curry vs self made fusion ? As for one who has grown up in east midlands, fancies continental cuisines and tasted Indian food elsewhere..I can vouch your currys lack the very flavour and spices so central to Indian food. Apparent from their replies to other customers, you need change of attitude and an open mind to understand that place of origin/settlement years.. have no bearing on one's sense of taste. Thank you.

The paratha wasn’t flaky and the Tikka masala had no depth of flavor, just tasted like tomatoes. The Pilau rice was tasty though and the tandoori salmon was kind of okay, lacking flavor and it was dry. The garlic naan however was very good.

Just giving an Indian name to a restaurant doesn’t make it one but definitely misleads people. Not run by Indians or people who know Indian taste at all. Sorry to say this. 1. Food was stale and overly sweet.We couldn't order anything more than starters. 2. We were served with meat for a vegetarian order. Was replaced later though. 3. They have mandated service charge ( if bill is below threshold amount ) which is against UK tax rules. 4. Unapologetic response to our feedback and countered with strong undertone of racial references.

The lamb in the Saag was amazing

Service was impeccable, waiters were constantly making sure you had everything, the owner was also very polite and on hand, the food was fantastic, in fact too much for me as I couldn't eat it all. We even got a complimentary sweet, which was a surprise to us. Will go again, best book a table if you go on Friday or Saturday night.

Curry was really oily and starter was poor

The food was very oily and salty and did not taste great. Collection time was great, would not use this place again.

I use to love this place but recently the food doesn’t taste the same. Curry has been way to sweet the last 2 times I ordered here and it’s extremely oily. Won’t be ordering here again

Very runny chicken tikka masala 6 pieces of chicken, we were sharing it so it wasn’t much but loads of the quite thin sauce the rest of the dinner was ok nothing outstanding, rice, onion bhajis , roasted cauliflower.and naan bread
