Nawab Lounge in Huntingdonshire

This is the best curry house around. It's consistently well run with immaculate service and excellent cuisine. The management take great care that everything is good for you. £65 for two, popadoms, chutney, samosas, main course curries with rice, beers. Love this place.

Our biannual pilgrimage to this fabulous restaurant revealed that it is just as good as ever. Special mention to our waiter, Mushy (no peas) for the the excellent banter. He really made the evening special. Also to Ali who remembered us from 2 years ago. We reccomend hariyali kebab, lamb madras and the lamb shank.

The consistency of 5 star food service and atmosphere require a 5 star rating for value for money as well. Always made to feel Welcome and special and equally pleasing to see every customer treated this way. The relentless efforts are made by the whole team! We absolutely love coming to the Nawab Lounge 😍 PS we are also staggered at the 1 star reviews alleging rudeness from the owner/manager and staff in general. This is simply untrue and perhaps some people should examine their own attitude.

Very nice restaurant all the staff are attentive and very smart the place looks immaculate, plenty of seating not to sqaushed. The food is well prepared and tastes just how i like it with nice aromas and loads of taste, they will alter recipes if your not a fan of an ingrediant my wife does not like green peppers so they doubled up on red. I went on a friday night, the place had a good crowd and a good vibe. A good indian restaurant i don't think you will be dissapointed. Give it a go.

Visited here for the first time this weekend with family, and had heard great reviews by word of mouth. Having tried and suffered a lamentable attempt from a nearby alternative some weeks ago, I was more than a little nervous. However from the moment you walk in, you're greeted warmly by Ali's team and from there the evening and food was fantastic. I don't recall all that we had, but poppadom's, king prawn on puri, and dishes we'd not seen on any menu before, but were highly enjoyable, along with the more well known side dishes. Can't fault a thing, will definitely be heading back.

Visited for a birthday meal. Received friendly staff throughout our visit and they were always attentive. We visit here a lot for meals and the staff always remember us which is lovely. Food was delicious and served piping hot. Our favourite place for a curry in the area

We came for banquet night, which is great value for money. Great food, great company, great evening! Attentive waiters and the complimentary baileys at the end was very well received. We will be back very soon.

This is hands down the best restaurant in the local area! The food is consistently amazing, the staff always go above and beyond to ensure you have a nice evening and it is also very reasonably priced. We are regular customers at Nawab and have never ever had a bad experience, we recommend it to everyone we meet and hope to bring more family and friends along with our future visits. If we could rate it higher we would! It even gets the 5 star approval from our 8 year old daughter who is now Nawabs number 1 fan.

Well, I've recommended this restaurant for years as I've always found it great. My last visit was disappointing for the 1st time. I ordered a Shashlik which normally comes on a sizzling plate, this time it was served on a china plate and the meat was very dry and chewy. For the 1st time ever we were charged for the poppadoms. A bottle of beer was £5:95 and £3:50 for a bottle of water. As usual the service was friendly, but I came away thinking I'll probably go elsewhere in future.

Nawab is a great, friendly and warming place to eat. The staff can’t do enough for you and the interior is warming. The food is exceptional and we have never had a bad meal. Would recommend completely.

Myself and my partner love Nawab, it’s great for the two of us and bigger occasions when we have attended with family. Always 10/10 customer service, the staff are so friendly and will always look after you. We always change our curries and they always accommodate even if it’s not what they usually do.

Amazing attentive staff - literally the best experience I’ve had in years. The manager was so professional, the waiters were informative. Just such a nice atmosphere. The food? Literally couldn’t fault it. We had the 15.95 set meal and there was SO MUCH FOOD. Every course was delicious and flavourful. Zero comments apart from delicious. I’m just upset I ran out of room to fit it all in - recommend the king prawn Balti. We only come back to visit my parents once a year and ALWAYS make sure we visit Nawab in St Neots. Hands down the best Indian in town.

Possibly the best Indian food I have eaten and coming from Yorkshire that's a bold statement. The saag aloo was amazing you could taste the individual ingredients rather than just garlic as is normal with this dish.

Couldn't recommend them enough,the best Indian by a long shot.Staff very attentive even though it was a takeaway.Have eaten in before and fancied staying at home for a change, service was second to none so am happy to recommend them both for eat in or takeaway. Brilliant.

A great team, very welcoming, respectful and efficient. Mushy just brought that little bit extra. He was very attentive and great to talk to and I am grateful for his recommendation of the Chicken Jalfrezi Masala as opposed to my standard Tikka Masala choice. The whole meal was full of flavour and very much enjoyed.

I havnt been here for nearly 6 years ( moved away ) I came with a friend after seeing the 3 course meal offer. The waiters were amazing. Friendly very efficient. Meal was delicious. Cannot wait to come back. ( as promised I would do a review on trip advisor when leaving as sadly people never seem to leave reviews anymore . Thank you for a lovely eveneing.

Still the nest curry house in St. neots. Garlic chicken is a star dish. The service is brilliant. They always do a tandoori madras for me, just make the chicken so much better.

We have been here for years normally great. Tonight one meal was tasteless!!! As we left paid and then told waiter the food was not good tonight so not looking for money off and he called my son in law back and said we were now no longer welcome!!!!!!!!! Disgusting!!! We have put plenty in Ali’s pocket over the years and would not expect this. Have the grace to accept concerns over one meal

Best Indian I ever had! Went here with my boyfriend for our anniversary dinner and couldn’t be happier with the choice! Had the Banquet Menu (which is available on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and the quality of the food for the price of it was absolutely amazing. Service was excellent, especially Mushi, who was outstanding. Would definitely recommend and going to come back really soon!

The food was good, but it took an awfully long time to get us (almost 2 hours). And when we asked one of the waiters where the food was their response was quite aggressive. From that point, the attitude of the waiters was very unfriendly. Such a shame, as this was our 2nd trip to Nawab; and our last. Will not be going back.

The food, when it came, was lovely, but we had to wait an hour an a half for our food from the time we ordered. We had no apology for this. We're unlikely to go back.

Ordered a take away recently. The person on the phone had no idea, saying they didn't know what a certain dish was despite it being on the current menu. Food was cold, very greasy and a couple of the dishes were absolutely foul.

Nawab Lounge has been my favourite Indian-Bangladeshi restaurant since moving to St Neots in 2014. The consistency is incredible and the quality of food and service high. I have tried Indian restaurants around the world and have yet found any that beat the Nawab! Well worth a visit! Great vegetarian options too particularly any paneer main. Huge chunks of melt in the mouth paneer!

Had a really nice meal at Nawab lounge. All the staff are very welcoming and the food is amazing! A very clean restaurant and it’s a good location right in the centre of St Neots with plenty of parking available. The menu is full and the only downside is that you will be tempted by everything! We will be back!

Ali always gives a warm welcome and the chefs reward you with top quality Indian dishes. Looking forward to my next visit.

All the staff were amazing. Helpful, funny, considerate and importantly, genuine. The food was delicious and the chicken, moist. Nothing was too oily or too dry and the portion sizes great value. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Just the right amount of care and attention without being intrusive but always being to hand. Thankyou for a wonderful evening to all the team and a big thank you from our Birthday Lad. Even though you didn't know it was his birthday until we'd almost finished the meal, you still managed to make it an extra special night.

We got a takeaway, and the food was really good - I went to pick it up at the restaurant and I got such a warm welcome from the front of house, with my takeaway they even gave us a complimentary drink for our meal!

One of the best restaurants around, and certainly the best Indian. They're great with kids too, even my boy who won't eat anything that's not plain. They allowed us to bring fish fingers in for him, and they put them in a naan and chios wrap, he was a happy boy.
