Excellent quality food, on a Sunday there is a buffet - which seems to be very popular. Always met with a smile, service is top notch! Restaurant or take away. Our favourite place to eat.

We've just had our Christmas meal today. Wow what an experience. Service was second to none, food was amazing (we couldn't fault any part of the 4 courses) even prepared some food for our 15 month old- which she loved! Highly recommend the Himalayan lamb chops & garlic chicken. Anyone wanting something different for their Christmas meal, here is the place to go! Visited this establishment last night, around 21:00. Despite arriving late, there was no quibble, and exceptional service throughout our meal, the food was divine.

We arrived very late for a meal on a Tuesday evening and the waiting staff had left, but we were given amazing personal service by the chef, who went out of his way to make sure our evening was special. The food was great as always.

Outstanding. A Nepalese twist on some curry classics, with some very refined levels of spice and flavour. This place is a little gem. Only caveat is if you just want balls to the wall extra hot curry you probably won't find it here, but in all honesty it isnt that sort of place and the flavours are top notch. 👌 The goat curry absolutely slaps. I think a lot of the waiting staff are very young and lacking experience which can slow the service when it gets busy, as if a good head waiter is needed at times, but they all have a good attitude and work hard. 👍

Great Indian & Nepalese cuisine in a comfortable setting

First time going here we were really looking forward to it. Had a table booked for 18:30 on a Friday evening. We received our starters at around 19:30 and they were delicious. At 21:00 we were still waiting for the main courses. There were tables seated long after us that received their food before us. When I ordered my main I was asked how spicy I want my Madras and I said very spicy almost like a Vindaloo. Sad to say it wasn't spicy at all. I think because they were so behind with orders the quality suffered unfortunately. Due to our food arriving so late to our table we lost our appetite and decided to take it home instead. We ended up having it for lunch the next day. I dont want to eat at 21:00 if I booked a table for 18:30. If you make a customer wait for hours for food at least offer them a complimentary drink.

What a wonderful hidden gem Everest Kitchen is. Have been dining regularly there for over a year and it's consistently perfect. Superb food and friendly polite obliging service. Nothing is too much trouble and customers are made to feel truly welcome. The menu will be familiar to Indian curry-loving diners but with delicious subtle Nepalese twists. And the Nepalese-original dishes are stunning. Portions are plentiful and the menu is varied with lots of choice. And the kitchen are happy to adjust spice and heat levels to your taste - just ask when ordering! Takeaways are excellent too. Friends who've dined there have been super-impressed too, including some who booked Christmas Day 2022 and pronounced it the best meal experience they'd ever had. Parking is easy - on-street outside or just round the corner. Yaxley is lucky to have such an amazing restaurant, consistently excellent and an absolute treat to visit.

Family birthday at home for 8 adults, 3 youngsters. Excellent choices off the menu, pre-ordered online (very easy), collected at the time requested and hot when we got home. Nothing disappointed, every meal was enjoyed. The Pesawari nann especially excellent. The takeaway food we have experienced was excellent and recommended..

Took my daughter here yesterday (28/09/22) and was warmly greeted and ended up having the best tasting curries we've ever had in our lives ....and that is no exaggeration. The staff are first class too . Would thoroughly recommend....sorry no pics but the food smelt so good when delivered , just didn't have the time !! Pics next time 🤞 Really look forward to that 😁

I walked in and immediately fell in love with this fantastic restaurant. Everything was perfect down to the last minute detail. Bartosh was extremely attentive and polite, He ensured all of our needs were fulfilled and even though we came here months ago, his impeccable service was so memorable, we ordered eat in but the portions were so generously filling we had to take it home. My friends and I came in for the first time. First impressions definitely matter and we were quite impressed with their service. The food was really nice, and the manager kept us informed about our orders. The service was top notch, will be visiting again.

My favourite restaurant! I love the food, every time we’ve tried something new it’s always great. My only complaint it being so good I want to eat here every week and simply can’t afford to! We often have takeaways from here and the standard doesn’t fall. Staff very pleasant and attentive, friendly place to eat. Even with my toddler!

Had our first visit last night after a recommendation from a work colleague. Upon entering the restaurant my first thoughts were how clean and fresh it was, glassware and cutlery were immaculate, right then I knew it would be great. We really enjoyed the best service and the wonderful food. Hats off to you all, it's clear that you know what you are doing and you do it extremely well, thank you.

I have ordered three deliveries from Everest Kitchen and I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant. The customer service is always polite, happy and accommodating. The delivery is always quick and piping hot, plus the delivery drivers are very professional. The food is delicious and I will spend the next year happily trying out their entire menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone I meet.

Exercise extreme caution with this place! The first couple of take-ways were fine, then they sent the wrong items and were unhelpful when we explained someone was intolerant of an ingredient in a dish they had wrongly sent. They refunded the dish after much interrogation but with no apologies! We later discovered we had been blacklisted, following THEIR mistake; their attitude was terrible, so we shall be avoiding Everest Kitchen in future. -There are many other restaurants were the customer is treated well and with respect.

We have a group of up to nine ex local firefighters we go in there once a month and we have no complaints. The food is first rate, they cater for all palates and they even give us our own mixed starter that is not on the menu. Service is very good, polite and patient. In the years We have been meeting we have visited many restaurants in and around Peterborough this one is our favourite. I have not heard of anyone who doesn’t give it the thumbs up. I’ve seen one bad review, that’s their opinion, can’t please everybody.

Our second time visiting tonight. The service was excellent, the young lad who looked after us was a real credit to the restaurant. He was attentive but not over bearing and always made sure we had everything we needed and were happy. The food was delicious, fresh, flavourful and plenty of it. We will of course be back for a third visit. Highly recommend a visit!

Absolutely appalled by the customer service here. We ordered two side dishes of saag aloo & they gave us the takeaway container with saag aloo written on it, but inside was saag paneer! Somebody had an allergy to cheese! This is serious! We'd also ordered two sides of bombay potatoes - one of which they charged us for but didn't give us! I rang up ofcourse & spoke to Dave the manager who didn't believe us & said he'd have to come to our house & see evidence of the fact we'd been given the wrong dish!!! He then reluctantly refunded me for the dish we paid for that they didn't provide. In the past we'd had some truly delicious takeaways, so tried to order again a few months later. The same Dave had the audacity to save our number on their system & said sorry we won't accept any orders from you because of the problems we had last time. The problems were due to their negligence! This is the most disgusting service I've ever experienced from any business in my life! BE CAREFUL & avoid this place. Their attitude is immoral.

The curried goat and the okra are banging. My oniy criticism is that the goat was a little over seasoned (salty) for my taste. I left some of the goat curry until the next day (when curries always taste better) and it was sublime. Will order again for sure.

I rarely feel moved to write a review .. 5/5 or 0/5 .. My first takeaway from here struck me as the tastiest chicken madras and possibly the spiciest .. Tonight, I ordered chicken korahi on the basis it wouldn't be as spicy as the madras .. Once again, this meal was so tasty! .. Different class! .. It was less spicy than the madras, but was still spicy and absolutely spot on .. My portion of rice was easily enough for two and so was the roti ..

This was our first time at the Everest Kitchen since it had changed hands and undergone a name change and change of owners It is now a Nepalese restaurant and without doubt the best we have been to in some years, the food is delicious I tried the chilli chicken starter...very spicy whilst my partner had butterfly prawns, again superb As were the main courses, without doubt this restaurant is a true gem and we will be back ..dont forget to try the Ghurka lager...

Since opening we have ordered takeaways from Everest Kitchen on a number of occasions. With a number of very good Indian / Nepalese restaurants around the area it is fair to say they have yet to disappoint. Food is well seasoned, hot and very good portions. Really hope this one last longer than previous occupants (would have marked them 5 star if the lamb bhuna was a touch spicier)

The staff were warm and helpful, serving an array of drinks and rich, authentic dishes that are suitable for vegetarians, without compromising flavour, and each also differing in spice levels to suit the needs of all. The portions were perfect for my friends and I, where we did not feel too heavy after we had eaten. This is definitely a restaurant that I will he visiting again, and would recommend to anyone in the nearby area.

Our first visit to Everest kitchen in Main Street, Yaxley, Peterborough. The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff friendly. Dev the owner told us he took it over in February last year. The food was really good, warm plates, hot food and excellent choice on the menu. The meals were just the right portion sizes for us. Prices were reasonable. They also do takeaway or collect. We are happy to recommend the Nepalese restaurant.

The food from here is exquisite, always piping hot and plentiful and clearly made with good quality fresh ingredients. The takeaway service is excellent, quick and the delivery staff are always polite, and courteous. I cannot fault this restaurant.
