Rose and Mango in Huntingdonshire

What a fab night out, we had the taster menu which was half price! Food was gorgeous service just right no rushing, can't fault it. Thank you to the lovely serving staff.

Really disappointed with our collection order, biriyani was very stodgy and overcooked not like usual biryanis, Malabar lamb shank had alot of oil on top which had to be poured out before we could eat it, once the lamb shank was taken out there was very little curry. It’s our first time trying Rose and Mango and very surprised as it has endless good reviews. Service on collection was good, very accommodating but have to say for the price and quality of food we received I definitely wouldn’t visit again.

I am writing a belated review from our visit back a few months ago, but I really have to as this restaurant was incredible. For every part - the atmosphere and welcome, the friendly staff who explained even the background of each one of our dishes, and the farewell - we were blown away. The dishes are crafted with care and presented in such a way it looks like artwork and is a pity to disturb. The restaurant describes that they are inspired by the Kerala region, and we had the set menu. Each dish was each delicious, different from each other, and made sense in combination and in the order that they were presented, which we would not have known how to pick. Even the dessert was an unexpected surprise; rose creme brulee, chocosamosa and tandoori pineapple. Truly, one of the best restaurants my family and I have ever been to. Rose and Mango is me and my fiancé's go-to for Valentines Dinner every year. The food is always gorgeous, portions are generous and they're happy to provide you with takeaway boxes of any leftovers. We are an LGBTQA+ couple, so it really is nice to be treated with the same warmth and welcoming atmosphere from the staff as any other couple. The staff are very attentive, polite and friendly - definitely the best service in St Neots. All the food is absolutely delicious. Even if you're apprehensive, you can trust in the set menus to be wonderful. Nothing on the special menus is overly spicy, but all very very tasty. Great way to try new things if you're new or inexperienced in Indian cuisine. The prawn malwani, seabass and soft shell crab are my favourites!

Amazing service here. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, as well as tailoring the food for my extra spicy requirement! The food is phenomenal, but if it wasn't, I would go here just to see the staff!

3rd Time having the taster menu, which is delicious, dynamic, and filling, so great value and a lovely way of trying lots of things. Some pics of each of the courses to give an idea. It's rough around the edges in parts, like many great hidden gems, but food and friendly service make it well worth a try.

Had two meals in here and the service is excellent. The food is exquisite I recommend all the starters especially those you can try a few different flavours!

everything’s good. we have ordered soft shell crab for starter, butter chicken and chicken masala. they all so delicious and authentic . the staffs are lovely and we feel welcoming. Definitely will come back.

Went for the first time yesterday and it was a real pleasure to have a meal that was not the typical 'indian' fare. My only comment was that the dishes lacked chilli (but then I was raised in Mexico, so like my dishes picante)

Lovely atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and kind. They recently changed the menu to introduce some new options (my guests really enjoyed the new stuff) but sadly I'm pretty picky so given some of the old menu items were removed, I found myself stumped. The two folk working tonight plated me up the dish that I have each time we visit even though it wasn't on the menu anymore. As usual the food tasted great and the prices very reasonable. Service is next to none and it really does feel like the staff are delighted that you come to dine here. Thanks a lot rose and mango!

Perfect experience at this lovely Indian restaurant. All staff are so polite and friendly and the food are just amazing! Chef’s mothers’ chicken curry is my favourite 😻 The chicken is so tender and the creamy curry sauce is just perfect with my garlic nann. Can’t wait to visit again!

A breathtaking experience in every way. If you put the staff here along side mother Teresa and compared their kindness, you would tell Mother Teresa thanks for your time but we will be going with the Rose & Mango staff. They would knock up better grub than her too!

We were a large family group of 10. We liked the menu which is somewhat shorter than many Indian restaurants and all the better for it. Our order was taken promptly and food followed shortly afterwards. We tried many different starters snd mains and all were much enjoyed. Service was excellent and we thought it all good value. We will definitely return!

I ate here twice over the summer while working nearby, with colleagues the first time and then I returned with my partner. The service was excellent, with kind and attentive waiters. The menu was wide-ranging, with really interesting flavours, and both times our meal was delicious. Very fairly priced too. Strongly recommend, I will come back when I'm in the area!

Visited this special restaurant a few weeks ago. The staff were very welcoming & we enjoyed some beautiful home - made chutneys & poppadoms before our main course.The date & beetroot one was gorgeous! Finally, we shared little mini chocolate samosas which were resting on banana slices that had a caramelised topping . WoW ! Also , couldn’t get over what excellent value this meal was ! Rose & Mango is real gem .

The food itself is so tasty and ull of flavour , few bad things though the poppadom basket is a total waste of time younget a few bits of a poppadoms not full and the dips you get are so stingy ,there was barely enough for one person let alone 3 plus the food portion sizes arnt very big ,dkntbget me wrong the food is lovely but I didn't leave feeling fulfilled

Really great to have so many different dishes to sample. Can highly recommend the Goan Fish Curry and the Railway Lamb Curry. The service was attentive but not overpowering.

I'm a regular at the Newmarket Rose and Mango and it's one of my favourite restaurants in town. Stopped at the St Neots restaurant on Thursday night with a colleague as it's near where we work and was delighted to find it is as great as Newmarket. Delicious food, fabulous service, great value. Will be back (to both restaurants) again soon

Kerala cuisine, so not ultra hot but definitely ultra tasty with original dishes not found elsewhere.

I visited to collect my first takeaway and was not disappointed. Super smooth service, although no added extras (I didn't have to wait though). Arrived home and unpacked; we opened up the containers and everything was well labelled, it smelt shaving and looked great. We tried each dish and we're blown away by the look, smell and if course, taste! Not your usual oily sources; it felt good to eat and was a pleasure. A few beers helped 😏 We've found our new favourite Indian Cuisine restaurant! Thank you, Ryan 🍻

The most gorgeous South Indian food I have had outside of Kerala Service is so warm and friendly and all food is utterly delicious Always busy, so maybe worth booking.

The food was wonderful and the service was above and beyond what I expected. It's definitely one of the restaurants I'd recommend dining at in St Neots.

In my opinion this was THE best food I have had in my life not only curry starter was absolutely amazing 😋 the beetroot chutney with the poppadoms was just perfect. The main just absolutely blew me away there was loads of meat that just fell of the bone 😳 how they made the sauce I do not know. I was getting every last morsel of food out the bowl at the end. I was completely full but with what the amazing staff did with my lamb shank I had to have a desert. What an amazing spin on a simple ice cream absolutely delicious 😋 😍. Not to mention the superb staff and service all night. 10/10 would most definitely come again and I would recommend it to anyone wanting the best curry of their life!

Went to Rose and Mango Tuesday night with friends from Nottingham and they said “ best Indian I’ve ever had” praise indeed . I don’t disagree but personally would like a bit more calamari for starter , otherwise, lovely

We went for our anniversary. This place is a great find. Food choice and flavour brilliant. Food price - a fraction of similar rated restaurants a few miles down the road.

We went for my birthday yesterday and had a lovely time. Staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, I would definitely recommend coming here. The staff also surprised me with a birthday song and dessert when they found out it was my birthday. This has been my best experience at a restaurant. I will definitely be coming back! ❤️

Pros: :: Excellent food, well presented, great choice :: Staff handled an error well. Brought wrong starters. We said we'd be happy to take the wrong ones instead but staff insisted on bringing both Cons: :: Acoustics were horrible - so loud it was difficult to hear one another. It's all hard edges with nothing to absorb sound. I look forward to visiting again but at a quieter time. If anyone in your group has hearing issues, this is not the place to eat at the moment. (Buffo and Pizza Express in town have the same problem with sound) ----- Aug-2021: I was disappointed that Ury went away but this place seems really good, based on my first visit. Tasty food, good options, okay prices and friendly staff. No paratha though...

Get yourself here! Recommend 10/10. Every dish is out of this world delicious. If you can’t decide what to have, try the taster menu and have it all. You will not be disappointed. The staff are so lovely as well. It’s a must for St Neots.

We had a first class class meal opting for the taster menu. We were not disappointed really delicious food. The staff are charming and friendly and the surroundings are pleasant. It's best to book as this place is very popular we shall be returning soon.

Writing this after the second visit. Very impressed with the service and food. Menu is not your traditional Indian although does include some traditional standard dishes. I've not tried these but would recommend the Syrian beef curry.

Just had an excellent lunch at Rose and Mango. Great lunchtime Thali menu. Well spiced and good individual flavours. Will be visiting again soon.

We attended this venue as a group.of 3. We were welcomed and seen promptly. There was a time delay in one of the three starters but once a problem was identified, it was resolved swiftly and quickly compensated. The staff were attentive but respectful and the food was superb. The trio of deserts could be my.choice for all three courses next time! Highly recommended this restaurant and we will certainly be going back.

All I can say is WOW! My fiancé booked us in for valentines evening for their 6 (yes 6!!) Course meal. We were a little apprehensive since we didn't know the menu until the evening, but WOW it was AMAZING! We're not very fussy eaters, so if you are very fussy it might not be for you, but from what I heard from the other tables they were very accommodating. The service: It was 100/10! They lit candles, handed us roses, laid our napkins, poured out water for us - we really felt like VIPs! Everyone was so friendly even though it was PACKED and every table was full. The food: The food was SO good (the soft shell crab and vegetarian curry were our favourites) and the explanation for each dish was very much appreciated. We're not experienced with Indian cuisine, so we had no idea what we were going into or trying beforehand, but was definitely worth the surprise! We're also an LGBT couple and felt more than comfortable here (which is a huge success!) And we'll definitely be coming back in the near future!

Great Food, we had a take out. Exceptional Standards & Authentic Indian Food. Everything we had was excellent and fresh. The lamb had Zero Fat and was Amazing! Quality over Quantity...but definitely enough! Well done guys.

I have eaten here a number of times, and the food is consistently delicious. The biryani is really flavoursome and not at all oily. I also really recommend the samosas (best ever!) The staff are always very polite too. Thank you!

Had a great lunch here. Very authentic on every level. We tried the Beef Curry and both Mango & Garlic Nan. Everything was was made fresh and old school ways. Great customer service. Attentive staff to my wife’s food allergy. Highly recommend!

A genuinely exceptional meal, with brilliant service. We had a lovely time, were keenly waited on by the team and the food was some of the nicest Indian food I have had (and I've eaten at a few!). What was noticeable was every other party in the restaurant was similarly complimentary on the way out as well - so not just us, but everyone in the 2 hours we were there. Also, I loved the poppadoms.

The food deserves 5 stars as it was absolutely delicious but the lack lustre servers and the rowdy unruly large tables of other diners totally spoiled a evening with friends….we had to shout at each other to converse….I would go back but I would only go back at a quieter time!

Brilliant ambience. The food is full of flavours, I tried the biryani cooked in a pot with a Nan bread lid, which kept he rice moist and delicious. I would definitely go again.

Just discovered this place. For all the restaurants in St Neots this is by far the friendliest place with the most authentic food in town. This Indian totally deserves all 5 stars, we had an amazing Sunday lunch. My main dish was the salmon and it was the best that I’ve ever tasted. And the quirky fig and coriander naan bread was delicious. Can’t wait to go back and sample more of the amazing dishes.

We just went on a visit to St Neots from Cambridge and found this place when we wanted to have lunch. Frankly we didn't expect much when we walked in. We only hoped it won't be too expensive. But this place just blew our mind. We walked out feeling full, satisfied and happy. The food was so good, we had not tasted anything as good anywhere in Cambridge. And it was not too expensive as well. Pros: Very friendly staff Ammazzing food!! Authentic Indian Great ambience Excellent food presentation Reasonable cost Cons: Nothing really But if I have to think of one, then I woukd say the vegetable biryani was a bit soggy. The taste was still wonderful though. Highly recommend this place.

Rose and Mango has become our favourite destination for Indian food so was our first choice for a special family meal again. Everything they serve is really delicious. There are always some familiar dishes on the menu, and a good number of more original ones. Everything is always really beautifully presented. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating too. Incredible food, fantastic service

We thought we had a good Indian restaurant in Wilmslow but by God this place beats them all. The chutneys with the poppadoms were amazing but the main course came and it was delicious. My wife had the salmon which consisted of 3 fillets of salmon perfectly cooked. I had the lamb Cheema and it was superb. Then the trio of desserts.... Again delicious. Very friendly staff too. The only place in St Neots worth visiting. Not mad prices either. Cordon bleu cooking curry style. Definitely recommended.
