The Best chicken tikka masala I've ever had, the taste although unexpected, it was completely welcome, never had a dish that surprised me more. My fiance is a huge indian food fan she lived in India for a couple of years, she said it was the best indian food she had in St ives, definitely recommend.

Have had loads of takeaways from here always good but tonight it was another level spot on and nice and hot and very quick. Goat and potato, bhajis nanns,mushroom rice,prawns, vegetables curry lovely

We had a takeaway which was the most bland food we have ever eaten. We had 4 adult meals. The King Prawn Madras, 3 prawns with tails, tasted of pepper and tomatoes. The chicken jalfreizi just tasted of tomatoes. The Chicken Korma was mildly edible. The vegetarian Dhal was very watery and tasteless and the Vegetable Bhajee was…… well just overcooked vegetable with absolutely no flavour. When we called to complain, we told them we didn’t want any recompense, they didn’t care and told us their food was different. It certainly was. We will definitely not be recommending this takeaway establishment to anyone.

Nothing fantastic to report. The food arrived on time and was hot. Chicken tikka jalfrazie wasn’t great, meat very dry, not very spicy. Poppadoms were really stale, nann bread very doughy. Egg fried rice pretty tasteless. Probably won’t order from the again 🙁

Had a madras, which had no flavour (just chilli) and a naan bread that had no flavour at all.

Afrer the closure of my normal Indian takeaway I tried this place and found it a worthy substitute pleasant service . interesting menu at a reasonable price Food was very nice

Husband found a small piece of metal in his food which cut his mouth. When we emailed the restaurant we never heard back. Used to like the food but never again.

Been going here for many years, but never noticed this before. Web site says you get 15% discount if you collect your order, buried in the ts and cs you have to spend over £25! My order was over £25 but only because of an extra 50p service charge, which “everyone pays” Won’t be going back as I feel ripped off.

Would give no stars if I was able. Ordered food for delivery and 25 minutes later they cancelled and said they weren't willing to drive to where we live. Staff member was rude and unhelpful on the phone and we ended up with no food. He told me to drove and collect it myself which I was unable to do with a small baby.

I ordered Railway chicken curry and Pilau rice. Unfortunately both were quite tasteless and bland. The veg samosa was quite the opposite, very spicy, too spicy to finish.

Just had two meals delivered and it was lovely.. really rich sauces in both meals.. it was very lovely and delivered on time.. defo coming back

***JAN 2023 UPDATE KHANNI INDIAN GONE DOWN HILL Used to love this place and gave it a 5 star review before and said it was the best Indian in Stives. It's now gone down hill. We got an Indian take away over the new year and it was so horrible. Tasteless , horrible flavour , poppadoms were horrible and onion bhajis very dry . It was super expensive aswell over £40 + they didn't even put in any salad either or green sauce.. Stay away now .. Best Indian in Stives is Dhaba Very disappointed by KHANNI. I had to leave my food..

Collected Indian.. Got home and there was no veg curry, called and they offered me £2!! Rice was dry!

Ordered Lamb Pasanda and rice, cost 15.00 pounds, rice was like rubber, lamb pasanda tough. I hadn't had a takeway in a long time, wish I hadn't bothered.

Unfortunately we had a dreadful experience with this takeaway. Incomplete order and tasteless food. Phoned to complain and we were told that we knew nothing about Indian food and then had the phone put down on us! We couldn’t have a refund and the rest of the order took another hour to arrive!

Has to be the best Indian takeout in st ives By far. Never been disappointed by the food nor service. Amazing people & Amazing food. The chicken ruby as to be my favourite dish, would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed! Without a doubt the best Indian around.

Ordered from here many many times, food is always restaurant quality. Yes its more expensive but you really do get what you pay for! I highly recommend this place if you like authentic Indian food. Every single dish is amazing, my Mrs loves the chicken wings, which are out of this world! I have large family, so when I order its normally around £60+, but I have always been extremely happy and never felt ripped off. Give them a go, try some of the dishes you haven't heard of before, because this place really knows how to cook and I guarantee its your new favorite Indian takeaway. Only bad thing is it will ruin any other place you go for a curry! The bar is set that high! My favorite place to order from - period. 5 stars is not enough

We have been regulars for about six months now. Great food, always delivered on time, hot and fresh! Amazing flavours, non oily and really soft, good quality meat. Dhansak is one of my favourites! Thanks guys!

Amazing food, best in town, not only that but the service was outstanding and everyone was so friendly from the delivery drivers to chefs, even the manager, we had a great chat while we waited for our food which arrived just in time. Would definitely say it is the best in town from service to the food. Highly recommended

First time I tried it. One of the best chicken tikka massala I have ever had!!! The gentleman tonight who was at the desk and served me was very polite! However the young, tall manager is extremely rude. He has no customer service skills and you can feel lucky if he says "hi" to you. Shame,this would be a cool place.

Had quite a few takeaways from here. Really rate it. Chicken Ruby is lovely. Found it better than lots close by. Give it a try.😁

We recently tried here for our Indian takeaway and so glad! Every curry we’ve tried is so tasty (I’m making my way through the different curries) with tender chicken! Naans are amazing and arrives quite quickly. Really helpful when I phoned to find dairy free dishes, very knowledgeable and polite

Ordered Chicken Ruby to collect which also came with rice. Can't fault in anything, was very tasty, thick sauce, chicken grilled and juicy. Except maybe their app, it didnt update that order was ready for collection.

Best Indian takeaway in the area. Wonderful friendly staff. Food is always superb and very fresh.

Ordered Spicy Wings, Masala Chips and Kati Roll and I must say all three items were absolutely delicious and full of flavours. Will definitely order here again.

We have had two Indians here now, very friendly customer service, helpful, fast delivery, comes in nice bags , food is nice and fresh. very tasty, it's a great new Indian in stives, only reason I gave 4 stars is because the onion bajjis were dry and not very nice. We will use again. Exciting to get food from a new place. Good so far a+++

METAL IN CURRY! I have ordered a curry from this takeaway for the last 18 months, weekly! Occasionally we have a bad meal but this week I found a piece of metal in my curry which I pulled from my mouth. I am 38 weeks pregnant and when I called to tell the company 2 male employees (managers!) shouted at my husband down the phone. Called us liars and made us send photographic evidence. They said we couldn’t prove it!? They did not want to replace our order or give us a refund. My husband was so upset with the awful customer service that he drove down to complain after the manager hung up the phone. They offered a £9 refund for the one dish with metal in, despite the entire order now cold. We were then told we should have scraped our plates to bring the curry back to prove we hadn’t eaten it! The manager then brought up that we had complained in the past- which is true. Once when our order was wrong (they offered £10 credit towards the next order) and once when we had paid for sides that did not arrive with our takeaway!! I am shocked at the awful customer service having ordered from Khaani for the last 18 months. The whole complaint could easily have been rectified. Do not order from here. The managers should be ashamed of how they dealt with this complaint! Quick to take our money though and for the last 18 months. POOR!

Excellent authentic food, one of the best Indian around, great service too.

Very tasty. Ordered my favourite chicken sagwala and it was beautifully spiced and not drowning in ghee which is often the case from other takeaways. My first time ordering, but it will definitely not be the last. Delivered at the beginning of the advised delivery window too.

We ordered a chicken tikka masala and a lamb balti - both were delicious. No normal layer of fat on top of the curries and really flavoursome. We've eaten at all of the curry houses in St Ives, and this was by far the best. It also arrived promptly, within an hour of ordering on Just Eat, and was piping hot.

First time ordering from here after reading the reviews. We had Ruby chicken & chicken tikka masala, chips, rice and a garlic naan. Came to £28.80. The portions were good and enough for me and my husband - we didn’t have that awfully fully, heavy and sluggish feeling after eating, which was nice as the dishes werent heavy or oily; just delicately cooked which I think avoided that overly full and heavy feeling. The Ruby chicken had various flavours - a bit sweet, a bit sour, a bit spicy, a bit earthy, something I had never tasted before, the spicy came in after all the flavour and had a bit of a kick to it at the back of my throat (probably a bit spicy for me as I usually have a masala). Nice consistency and the chicken thigh was off the bone and not dry in the slightest. The chicken tikka masala wasn’t your usual wet sickly/sweet flavour it was thick, creamy/yoghurty, not sweet, tasty, the sauce almost melted in your mouth and had this very light texture, no oil in sight - it’s not your typical bright red sweet curry, it tasted very authentic. Rice/chips/naan was good. Defo worth it as a treat but a bit expensive if you had a take away from here often.

DO NOT EAT HERE. HAIR IN MY CURRY!! SO EXPENSIVE FOR THE POOR QUALITY FOOD

Ruby curry was absolutely delish, never had a bad meal yet!!

Had a chicken tikka masala, chicken not noticeably marinated and the sauce was basically tomato soup. Expensive for the quality. Have been using this take away since the days the Fazil family ran it and this was my favourite dish, been going down hill since the last takeover won’t bother again.

Had a takeaway tonight, the worst indian food I have ever eaten in my life!. Both dishes, Chcken tikka masala and lamb pasanda had no flavour whatsoever, they were watery and looked liked the sauce was something out of a tin. I have made much better indian food myself. The lamb definitely did not taste of lamb, all in all a complete waste of money and a takeaway I would definitely not recommend wasting your money on!

Arrived on time and delicious! We had the special Ruby Chicken and the Chicken Balti and both were perfect in flavour and heat. The peshwari naan was also very yummy!

Consistently great quality. Never had a bad one from here. Not swimming in oil. Tandoori rotis are nice texture.

Either the reviews on here are not accurate and not recently put on ,but I absolutely loved this food as did all of us delivery was spot on time by just eat. big portions and delicious definitely have again the tandoori mixed grill is massive.

Looked like a good menu, the usual suspects and a few more besides. We tried for the first time, everything looked great, just a great shame it was all overwhelmingly salty. It spoilt what promised to be a good meal. We had 4 different dishes...

Ordered our dinner at 6.30pm through Just Eat, when placing the order it advised 30-60mins wait, when we received the order confirmation it said 8pm, the food didn't arrive until after 9pm! The takeaway offered a few poppadums to say sorry, we said not to...

Regular customers to Khaani, lived in St.Ives 15+ and have not had a better food. Definitely worth a try and always on time if not early.

First time ordering tonight . Ordered on line at 6pm for 7:30pm delivery . Was 1 hour late . Appreciate it was new year , however not keen on a £3 delivery charge when others don’t charge this to Bluntisham . Order came to £60. Would have been £7 cheaper had we of gone to our usual which is Montaz Food was ok and tasty however if you are going to charge a premium and a delivery charge the food needs to be amazingly better than the competition and on time ..

5 Stars!!! Great take away, tasty and flavourful. This restaurant take pride in quality local produce and I will always result to buying my Indian dinner from Khaani. The menu is versatile especially for vegetarians as you can pretty much have any dish which my wife loves. Generous portion sizes and I would like to suggest trying the chicken wings. Quality naan, nicely cooked and great texture! Will be ordering again!

Absolutely deserve 5 stars!! An amazing take away from a restaurant that clearly cares about sourcing local and great produce and oozing in flavour. The food here really is something very special, extremely well prepared, full of flavour and great value for money. The delivery from Shop to home was quite a long one but it arrived piping hot...thanks we will be back!

We have eaten a takeaway from here before and were perfectly happy. Last night we ordered one and was disappointed with both dishes. We ordered the chicken Bhuna tikka which was quite tasteless and had no depth of flavour. The lamb balti was also flavourless. Mushroom rice also tasteless Disappointed ☹️

You would be crazy not to sample the delights of Khaani Indian Kitchen. The food is absolutely amazing. Chicken melting off the bone into a delicious curry sauce; pomegranate seeds bursting on the top of a Samosa chaat; flavours oozing from a parata bread. Please...

First meal after coming out of lockdown. Normally love a Biryani, but this fell short of the mark. The spices were nice, the rice (a very generous portion) very well flavoured, but the vegetable curry was so watery I though I'd got a vegetable soup. The rice was nice with a surfeit of green beans and a shortage of meat (in my case chicken - 3 pieces) . In reality this is a review of the Biryani, other dishes may be stupendous, I don't know.

Usually good curry but last 2 times us gone there it's been watery! Didn't enjoy it tonight..

We previously used Salt n Spice which is a good (if bog standard) Indian takeaway but tried this place after a recommendation. Well I have to say if Salt n Spice is 7 to 8 out of 10 that would make this place about a 25 ! It's that good. By far the best Indian takeaway I have ever had and if I had paid double for it in a London restaurant I would have still been extremely happy. Unless you think your Indian food should be bright red you will love this place!! Highly, highly recommended, these guys really know how to cook!

Fantastic, fantastic food. Truly authentic and a must try for anyone who likes good Indian food. Not for the bright red Chicken Tikka Masala brigade but for everyone else you are in for a treat!

The food from here was delicious! All delivered on time and piping hot. Korma was lovely, the broccoli and paneer was delicious and masala fries an extra treat! We would definitely order from here again!

Just had our second takeaway didn’t disappoint, so fresh absolutely fabulous, the taste and level of spice was perfect !

I had a chicken dhansak it was really nice from Khaani and it was really tasty. I would recommend you giving it a try.

Chicken Madras was runny, basically just a sauce with chicken and quite sour tasting. It was nice and spicy! Was not great at all. The veggie samosa was great hence the 2 stars.

Tried it for the first time recently. Interesting menu but quality poor. Goat curry very salty. Salmon very overcooked and hard - it was inedible and had to throw it away.

Wow....hands down the best Indian in St.Ives friendly service, absolutely amazing food yes it's a little more expensive BUT so worth it will definitely be going back again and 100% recommend
